Here is the report from my viewpoint:

There had been no activity all day in H-W where Gents are basing out of.  There were some timers in the later afternoon that I would not be able to make.  Another corp member kept posting kills in corp chat, and when I looked at the system it was M-O.  Knowing this is an entry system from empire, I decided to take the curse down there and see if there was anything interesting.

Warped to a perch I had off the Taisy gate and noticed that there was a number of bubbles anchored around the gate.  At least one and possibly two large as well, which really gave some nice coverage for both pilots looking to leave and enter.

The snowflake fleet really did not have any FC to speak of, just fleet chat and a channel on Condi mumble.  in fleet chat the probing toon mentioned he was getting very close to getting 100% on the nightmare.  I had only recently joined the fleet, so I could only assume that he was referring to a nightmare BS which had been on directional scan.

I added him to watchlist and waited for the WWW.  He gave it about 30 seconds later, and the fleet proceeded to warp in.  We all landed, someone stated point, I immediately began neuting with all three neuts.  I did not really see any type of hostile actions by him in attempting to escape or fight off the attack.  There has been some speculation on the eve-kill page that he was AFK.  A strong possibility.  Everyone attempted to get onto the pod mail, but it was whored out.

It was not until the ship and kill were dispatched that everyone started to view the kill and the loot.  I needed to look about 5 times to make sure I counted the number of figures in the kill.  There can't be a 66 billion ISK kill.  That is a titan kill.  Yet, when you look at his modules and the loot that dropped it became very evident that it was a 66 billion ISK loss.  Even the pod mail of over 3 billion was something that caught everyone's eye.

The pilot who scooped loot very quickly logged off.  :(

I really have no expectations of sharing of the loot.  It was a great kill, thinning of the herd, etc.
