- Trains:
- The gravel was rough,
- Beneath my feet.
- It was felt very cold,
- And I was beat.
- I looked into the sky,
- Looking at the moon.
- How could she-
- Die so soon.
- I was filled with grief,
- As I looked at her grim.
- Her once blue her eyes,
- Were looking so dim.
- I got up,
- Knowing the situation.
- So I walked away,
- To that train station.
- It was where we first met,
- So long ago.
- Sitting on the bench,
- Her hair a-glow.
- Smoke came from the trains,
- Long and grey.
- Going up into the sky,
- And far-far away.
- I remember her,
- Stepping out of the train.
- Her dress so fancy,
- But wincing in pain.
- But this was a time,
- Many years back.
- I heard the whistle,
- I took one step.
- The light, strong and bright,
- and taken over my sight.
- I stood where she loved,
- wishing to be with her.
- I stood on the tracks,
- as the train came forth.
- I heard the brakes scream,
- but that wasn't enough.
- I stood still,
- my will was tough.
- The light, too bright,
- soon turned dark.
