  1. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:28:49 PM): So basically I'm going to be Dr. Light for a while
  2. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (9:29:29 PM): gimmie a mega blaster then
  3. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (9:29:32 PM): do it now.
  4. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:29:36 PM): Well, I would
  5. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (9:29:38 PM): also the gun is a hand
  6. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:29:41 PM): But you're a dragonblooded
  7. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:29:48 PM): You don't know how to use a Fiery Solar Cannon
  8. Storyteller (9:29:50 PM): AIM's not extremely cool, but I don't require something that can roll 231 dice just yet
  9. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:30:20 PM): I could make you a warstrider that uses an essence cannon?
  10. Storyteller (9:30:51 PM): the fiery solar cannon is an excellent way to quickly lose all your essence
  11. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:31:07 PM): Hey he wanted an arm cannon
  12. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:31:10 PM): Wait a minute wait a minute
  13. Audrey (Shell) (9:31:12 PM): and an eye
  14. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:31:17 PM): Here's what I'm gonna do.
  15. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:31:23 PM): I'll make you a gun that shoots lemons
  16. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:31:30 PM): Since Megaman's attacks look like lemons
  17. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:31:39 PM): And we'll call it the Cave Johnson Cannon, or CJC for short
  18. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (9:31:39 PM): it must go PEW PEW
  19. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (9:32:12 PM): better come on over, get some of this shit.
  20. Storyteller (9:32:38 PM): Okay, so Juff, Ben, Frank, remind me of your char's names.
  21. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (9:32:44 PM): Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle
  22. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:33:00 PM): Five-Pointed-Eye
  23. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (9:33:13 PM): ten pound dickasaurus.
  24. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:33:15 PM): His friends call him Five.
  25. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:33:22 PM): I think Ben's name is the best
  26. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (9:33:55 PM): agreed
  27. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:34:29 PM): "You ain't the Dukes of Hazzard!"
  28. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (9:34:55 PM): More like Dicks of Hazzard
  29. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:36:04 PM): You ain't the Dicks of Hazzard!
  30. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:36:34 PM): I don't think Five is going to be as straight up gangster as Devourer was right away but eventually, he will have an Exalted Starcraft army.
  31. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (9:36:56 PM): Indomitable Jade Fish
  32. Storyteller (9:41:37 PM): Alright. So Five has received an invitation to discuss extremely serious and sensitive matters with a pair of viziers of the Five-Score Fellowship, at a small roadside inn on the border between his city-state and the kingdom of the reclusive Chiisai Tsuno, a fellow solar and the only other such exalt known to have permanent residence in the area...
  33. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:42:48 PM): Okay so Five will let Tsuno know, very formally through the mail, that he's going to swing on by so he doesn't get in trouble because for some reason I figure he'd be territorial..
  34. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:43:20 PM): And then he's going to leave his Lunar best bro in charge of his own city state and make arrangements to travel to this meeting.
  35. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:43:44 PM): Aaand take his 3 combative DB cronies as his retinue along with him in case of trouble.
  36. Audrey (Shell) (9:46:20 PM): Audrey makes her way to the meeting she has a whispery sheer blue robe on that matches her deep blue eyes, and she also has long blonde hair.
  37. Storyteller (9:47:18 PM): The three dragon blooded with him have yet to have been equipped with artifact weaponry, and so just seem to be relatively normal soldiers.
  38. Storyteller (9:49:58 PM): Arriving at the inn is a smiling woman with robes the color of a flamboyant sunset, with purples, gold, and crimson hues, and seems to be dressed in the manner of one of Tsuno's nation. She is following quite an entourage.
  39. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (9:53:04 PM): ::around the entrace of the tavern is what appears to be a congrgation of monks, most of which are armed with spears and swords with the exception of four, all are dressed in identical hooded robes making it difficult to tell them apart::
  40. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:56:32 PM): Five dresses like a military laborer, wearing a simple green shirt under a brown leather vest, with many-pocketted work pants that match his vest's color. He's got work gloves on and has short red hair with blue eyes. He looks a
  41. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:56:33 PM): little bit uncomfortable.
  42. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (9:56:50 PM): So, goofily enough, it looks like 3 commandos are escorting a gearhead around.
  43. Storyteller (9:57:15 PM): She makes her way to Audrey and Mythsaron and places her hands on the table, after ensuring that everyone else has vacated the building. "Greetings friends, I am Lady Marie... I have arrived on behalf of Lord Tsuuno, who is attending to other matters for now."
  44. Storyteller (9:57:59 PM): "I am authorized to speak and listen for him on all things." She withdraws an elaborate scrollcase and unfolds it, showing a lot of weird symbols and legal mumbo jumbo.
  45. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (9:58:41 PM): Mythsaron arrived at the inn early, hoping to be done with it as soon as possible unsurprisingly; he took this type of business very seriously, even for someone otherwise seemingly carried aloft as though in a dream. He was dressed in blue and violet, black hair drawn up Chinese style in one of those headdresses with the pokers, with his left cheek and around the eye obscured by an ornamental teal mask. He was unarmed but dressed no less like he had to blend in within a place so florid as Heaven likely tended to be. He addressed the woman after she'd shown her documentation, polite yet visibly impatient. "I fear you may be incapable of conveying the grave importance of our message."
  46. Audrey (Shell) (9:58:53 PM): Smiles and nods to the new girl. "Greetings." Looks at the scroll case and tilts her head.
  47. Storyteller (10:00:27 PM): She then folds it, and puts it away, crossing her arms. "I am his bonded lunar protector and advisor, of course I am fully capable..."
  48. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:00:54 PM): "Oh, hello ma'am. Why couldn't Tsuuno come himself? Is he sick?"
  49. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:01:59 PM): "Advisor, you say," he echoed, struggling to choke back a sneer at the thought of a Lunar fulfilling this role. He viewed them as pets humored with rights by their Solar masters, only one step less out of their typical minds than the latter.
  50. Storyteller (10:02:54 PM): She smiles again. "My lord is the leader of a vast nation, sir, and has many responsibilities to fulfill. He sends his sincere regrets that he cannot join us."
  51. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:03:35 PM): "It's just that the notice I got looked fairly urgent, so it is a little awkward to be summoned to a must-go meeting and then have the main person presiding over the meeting be indisposed."
  52. Storyteller (10:04:03 PM): "I will impress upon him the full urgency of your news, I assure you."
  53. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:04:49 PM): "Okay well I have a lot of work to do, which I've put on hold to come over here and whatnot. So what did you all want to discuss?"
  54. Storyteller (10:05:52 PM): (Does anyone have an MDV of 12+?)
  55. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:05:57 PM): (No.)
  56. Storyteller (10:06:06 PM): (Didn't think so)
  57. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:06:16 PM): "Five-Pointed-Eye. It is good you have come; you are a man of reason, of restraint, so surely you are one who will benefit from acting upon the urgent news we bring from the Heavens. I am Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle and this is my assistant Audrey; we the Chosen of Fate scarcely can afford the time to speak of issues less dire."
  58. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:07:39 PM): "How do you do." he offers to shake hands.
  59. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:08:40 PM): His handshake is unintentionally curt, the custom unusual to him. "We do with struggles; admittedly no shortage of which come from affairs here in Creation, among you Godkings."
  60. Audrey (Shell) (10:08:48 PM): Shakes his hand. "A pleasure sir."
  61. Storyteller (10:10:00 PM): She shakes each of their hands as well.
  62. Storyteller (10:11:13 PM): "How may we help, sir?"
  63. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (10:11:19 PM): ::Waits silently for everyone to finish before speaking up::I am the Indomitable Jade Fish, i have been sent here by Tsuuno , and sworn to defend you.
  64. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:11:26 PM): "Oh, okay. That sounds bad. I'm not exactly an extrovert, is the thing. Mostly keep abreast of world events via correspondence with some associates. Would, ah, would you mind letting me know what the problem is so that I might
  65. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:11:27 PM): discuss it with a little less ignorance?"
  66. Storyteller (10:11:59 PM): She grins as Jade Fish introduces himself.
  67. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:12:53 PM): "Thanks." And this is the state of the Jaded Godking's attitude. Someone mentions that they swear to defend him and he's all "Neat!".
  68. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (10:13:38 PM): ::Jade fish bows low to her, and is followed shortly after by his whole retinune, all of them bowing slightly lower than he has, and only rising after he straightens up::
  69. Storyteller (10:14:28 PM): "The strength of our domain is guaranteed by our elemental champions."
  70. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:15:02 PM): "Right. Let me see if I can set my meaning into the open; are you familiar with an 'Operation Wyldhand,' by any chance?"
  71. Audrey (Shell) (10:16:41 PM): Nods. "Yes sir."
  72. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:16:46 PM): "A little bit."
  73. Storyteller (10:16:46 PM): She nods, with a neutral expression on her face.
  74. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (10:16:46 PM): (btw i didnt mention this earlier ccause im kinda overwhelmed with whats happening and i keep forgetting to type, but my char and his retinue are all dressed in hooded robes with the colors of the water clan , jade fish himself is wearing a robe that is identical in its plainness except for a series of runes covering his right sleeve)
  75. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:17:30 PM): "Big field test of the Solar Deliberative's doing. Testing Creation's defenses."
  76. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:17:46 PM): "What a waste."
  77. Audrey (Shell) (10:17:57 PM): "Yes."
  78. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:18:27 PM): "You know how many hours I put in designing some of the static defenses that got blown to SMITHEREENS in that exercise?"
  79. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:18:34 PM): "A lot."
  80. Storyteller (10:19:35 PM): She chuckles. "Oh, I am glad that war machines were the ONLY thing of value lost, good sir..."
  81. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:20:00 PM): He cleared his throat at the Solar's clarification and continued. "Right. A tragedy. Well, we've so far counted that forty-four million mortals were killed in this... catastrophic 'test.' We've not finished counting. What worries us more is the damage to the Loom of Fate, and well... quite honestly the potential for a repeat of the event. To say the least we're not exactly as fond of the idea of outright jeopardizing the stability of Creation for the sake of testing your defensive measures. Not just us, though," he said, forebodingly, staring upward thoughtfully.
  82. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:20:20 PM): "Well, I'd be less cranky if my war machine came with a reincarnation lifetime guarantee that made it so if they were destroyed they'd get rebuilt better than before. These people don't know how good they've got it."
  83. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:20:41 PM): machines*
  84. Storyteller (10:21:48 PM): Her smile fades at the more detailed description and swallows. "Well, my sympathies extend to those affected, though my king has not participated in the Deliberative since his most reincarnation..."
  85. Storyteller (10:22:07 PM): *most recent
  86. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:23:14 PM): Five makes a face, as if predicting where this is going. "So you're about to hand me a milehigh stack of work orders, aren't you."
  87. Storyteller (10:23:19 PM): She looks a little puzzled at the "not just us" bit though. "What do you mean exactly, sir?"
  88. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:26:25 PM): His stare at the Solar was blank, dreamy, lethargic, and it turned to the Lunar, her question more appealing to his topic. "The mortals, the Terrestrial, they were displeased yes. The Loom of Fate was damaged possibly beyond repair, and we are unable to clearly see much, but what we do see is a disturbing premonition of the future of Creation. I do not wish to cast blame upon you glorious Godkings, but the future woven for you has the whole of Heaven concerned. We fear you may do something... very rash, and bring shame or insult to one of the Celestial Incarnae."
  89. Storyteller (10:30:39 PM): She glances to Five, and then back to him. "Those are grave allegations... and are we the first aside from your Fellowship to receive this premonition?"
  90. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:31:33 PM): "Wait, what?"
  91. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:33:34 PM): "With all due respect, vizier, why not bring this before the entire Solar Deliberative? Isn't it their job to go over big geo-political concerns like this? I'm a magitechnologist, not a statesman."
  92. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:34:36 PM): "We of the Chosen of Fate are largely inclined to believe this premonition, though they are predictably conflicts of belief; we are of the majority," he said to the Lunar, before turning to Five. "We already have. We're not entirely convinced they're taking the magnitude and fragility of this situation quite as seriously as we'd like."
  93. Storyteller (10:35:29 PM): "There's a reason they call it the SOLAR Deliberative, sir Five."
  94. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (10:37:15 PM): ::jade fishes men have set up a perimeter around the gathering making sure to keep random passerbys and eavesdroppers away from the conversation, jade fish himself listens silently, flanked by three unarmed hooded indistinguishable followers::
  95. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:37:24 PM): "Or perhaps they have it well in hand and you are being impatient? The Solar Deliverative knows what they're doing."
  96. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:37:42 PM): "We saved you from the Primordials, after all."
  97. Storyteller (10:38:09 PM): "We appreciate you bringing us this information..." She taps her fingers on the table. "Of course, it will take time to work out a solution, and lord Tsuuno cannot commit to action until he has, of course, discussed this. However, an offer I would..." She grimaces at Five's last comment.
  98. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:39:37 PM): He thought it might be wise to tread lightly, though he felt there was no other way. "You may not recall that the Primordials once dislodged the Southern Elemental Pole for really no other reason we can understand than a callous disregard for the repercussions; but the Gods have recorded it, and there are... marked similarities between the ramifications of that cataclysmic event and the Operation Wyldhand."
  99. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:40:28 PM): "What I mean to imply is, all that we've striven to create and protect was almost undone by those inept former masters; we should not emulate that arrogance."
  100. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:41:09 PM): "It does sound quite serious. But again, what would you like me to do? I am a magitechnician, not a statesman. You're more likely to bend an ear than I am. I mean look at you, all formal and elegant. Got a cute assistant. It
  101. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:41:10 PM): even seems that Tsuuno's Lunar mate does all the work around here rather than he."
  102. Storyteller (10:43:49 PM): "Well, that's a pretty harsh comparison... though I wouldn't disagree." She flushes a little. "Hey now, he does the best job he can!" Marie clears her throat. "I think part of his point, is that if any ... action need be taken, it would be best if it was granted
  103. Storyteller (10:44:43 PM): solar legitimacy, correct?"
  104. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:46:02 PM): "Somewhat, my lady," he said, before clearing his throat and turning to Five and speaking as if to them both. "You are a man of temperance, of reason, Five-Pointed-Eye. The thread your fate weaves is... promising, to me, as well as that of your patron, my lady. I am not authorized to be open with the Celestial Bureaucracy's machinations, but I assure you that some of the solutions we're considering are... controversial. That said, I'm here not so much as an emissary of Heaven but as an advisor to you. I think that together," he gestured at the two of them as well as to himself and to Audrey, "we can do what needs to be done to put this... grim premonition behind us."
  105. Audrey (Shell) (10:46:51 PM): "Yes."
  106. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:47:14 PM): The magitechie looks flattered! "Huh. A Sidereal advisor. AND a chance to make the Solar Deliberative do something useful..." he strokes his chin.
  107. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (10:48:04 PM): "That sounds good. Perhaps something controversial is what the Deliberative needs to wake up and spend their budgets better. Alright, you've got my vote."
  108. Storyteller (10:50:39 PM): "I am optimistic of my lord's response. Lord Tsuuno is always looking to form new alliances, and we would graciously accept such assistance. We would be willing to grant you use of our great nation's funds and assorted equipment, particularly were you willing to grant us the blessings of Fate."
  109. Storyteller (10:51:47 PM): "As well as terrestrial exalt servants, if you so desire."
  110. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:54:13 PM): "That is the purpose of my assistant, here; you shall find no greater blessing of Fate than one granted by her. I appreciate your offer; regulations disallow me from extending the same graciousness regarding resources to you, but I can offer what purview we have over the Fates and what tactical knowledge I possess. I shall be grateful to be accompanied by some bodyguards, while I am here on the mortal plane."
  111. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (10:54:31 PM): "Extend this graciousness to my companion as well, if you would."
  112. Storyteller (10:57:23 PM): She nods about the resources, and smiles. "Of course, and I understand." She pats Audrey on the shoulder as well. "The other matter, and resource I would like to extend, is that I am going to be forced to take an extended absence fairly soon... probably after I deliver this information to Lord Tsuuno and ensure that he has agreed with all of my rulings, in fact..."
  113. Audrey (Shell) (10:58:30 PM): Nods. "It was great to meet you."
  114. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (11:00:39 PM): He nodded, curious of the Lunar's reasoning for taking the absence; he would likely be responsible for writing a report regarding this, though felt strangely disinclined to bother with thinking about it at least for the moment. "I echo that sentiment. I hope that your patron is no less understanding than you, my lady."
  115. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (11:00:53 PM): He offered a deep bow, turning to Five, curious of his take.
  116. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (11:02:14 PM): "Well, hopefully Tsuuno gets his head in the game. I still don't know how I'll help, but..."
  117. Storyteller (11:02:24 PM): "My kind require a bit of rest every now and again to maintain our proper health, and to make it less of a time consuming event, I am going to retire to my elsewhere den soon. Time flows vastly faster within than without, so if you have time consuming tasks to engage in, or simply desire a bit of rest, you are welcome to stop by and visit... there is always plenty of room."
  118. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (11:02:55 PM): "It was nice meeting you."
  119. Storyteller (11:03:02 PM): She stands and bows in return.
  120. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (11:03:16 PM): Five does the whole "Sir. Madam. Sir. Madam." to formally say goodbye to everyone.
  121. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (11:03:39 PM): "Thank you for protecting us!" to Jade Fish.
  122. Storyteller (11:03:50 PM): "Wait, Five. Before you go..."
  123. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (11:04:07 PM): "Something else?"
  124. Storyteller (11:04:19 PM): "Would you be interested in taking commissions for Lord Tsuuno? He would be willing to extend his arsenal licensing to you, in addition to funding."
  125. Storyteller (11:05:11 PM): "For whatever private projects you desire on your own initiative too, of course."
  126. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (11:05:27 PM): Five-Pointed-Eye's, well, eyes become the very material Plato described as glittering like fire. A pair of orichalcum beads, glinting in the lights of the GODS. Money! ARSENAL PERMITS.
  127. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (11:05:43 PM): He immediately gets serious. "Done and done."
  128. Storyteller (11:07:57 PM): "If that is all, I and my compatriots will now depart."
  129. Five-Pronged Eye (Frank) (11:08:51 PM): "Thank you for the invitation."
  130. Storyteller (11:09:20 PM): "Of course, sir."
  131. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (11:10:18 PM): "May your journey end as it was intended, my lady," he said, offering his farewell before becoming briefly contemplative and silent. He turned to his fellow Vizier, speaking quietly with her. "It is done. We should grant these provinces heavenly favor and prepare for the trials ahead."
  132. Storyteller (11:11:08 PM): She strolls out, patting Jade Fish on the shoulder and nodding.
  133. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (11:12:44 PM): ::nods and lets out a short whistle, causing the rest of the group to follow the lunar out::
  134. Indomitable Jade Fish (Ben) (11:13:04 PM): Good fortune to you all. ::bows again and walks out::
  135. Audrey (Shell) (11:13:43 PM): Nods to Mythsaron."
  136. Mythsaron Dreaming Mantle (Geoff) (11:15:49 PM): "Let us tour this kingdom and find where our blessings are best placed," he said, directing them out of the inn to begin their astrological work!
  137. Audrey (Shell) (11:19:19 PM): Exits the inn.
