Winter Infestation

>Fluffies.  Fluffies everywhere.
>Neighbor was obsessed with fluffies.
>Ran an insane breeding lab in his basement.
>Dozens of pregnant fluffies all being cared for.
>All being given fluffy fertility treatments.
>Has a heart attack and dies.
>Fluffies get loose.
>Neighborhood is swarming with fluffy ponies that are quickly going feral.
>You keep your one fluffy pony inside.
>Cries all day.  "Fwuffy wanna pway wit' new fwends!  Fwuffies in yard!  Wan' pway!"
>At least seven fluffy ponies live in your backyard, and won't go away.
>Don't have the stomach to hurt them.  Throw them over the fence, they get back in somehow.
>Saw your neighbors putting them in dumpsters by the armful.
>Sad, but necessary.  The sidewalks are covered in shit.  People's front lawns have been grazed clean.
>Fluffies mewl all fucking day and night, desperate for love and attention from humans.
>Winter is close.  It's already snowing.  That should help clear them up.
>It's heartwrenching to hear them cry at night.  "Fwuffy cold!  Babehs cold and hungwy!"
>"Pwese, wan' foodies!  Fwuffies so cold!  Wan' home?  New daddy?  Pwese!  Babehs won' move!  Fwuffy's weggies too cold.  Can' walk.  Hewp, pwese..."
>Your fluffy pony is getting depressed.  Won't move away from sliding glass door.
>"New fwen?" she whimpers through the glass at the starving fluffy pony.
>"Wet fwuffy in?" the stray cries.  "Fwuffy tummy hurtsies a lot.  Fwens won' wake up."
>"Daddy!" yours cries.  "Fwuffy needs foodies!  Let fwends in, pwese?"
>Tell her it can't happen.
>"Why daddy no wike fwuffies?" she cries.
>Tell her you love her.
>"But daddy no wove eder fwuffies?"
>Tell her no.
>Stray fluffies keep dying in front of the glass door, their last energy spent begging for help.
>By mid-winter, the fluffy problem's over.  They've all starved or frozen to death.
>Your fluffy isn't the same anymore.  When you ask about seeing other fluffies suffer, she says she doesn't even remember it.
>But she cries herself to sleep almost every night...
