  3. [2013-11-20 19:22:39] <~Shadelow> Cookies and Camshaft found themselves waking up in what looked like a clean, white, pre-war kitchen. It was clean at least mostly, but both the cook and mechanic found themselves in a mess of old, rotting banana peels, empty beer and whiskey bottles and other would-be discarded items.
  4. [2013-11-20 19:26:37] * Camshaft looks around the mess with some small wounder then starts to go thru the kitchen
  5. [2013-11-20 19:27:26] * Cookies continues to snooze lightly half lidding his eyes as the heavyset, hard to wake pony finds himself in a puddle of his own drool. He stands up, and shakes off like a wet dog, smacking his lips and instinctively plodding through garbage to a sink.
  6. [2013-11-20 19:29:04] <~Shadelow> The kitchen looks almost brand new, no grime to it at all as sunlight came in from outside. In the way of things like food and chairs, it seems lacking, but there's a sink.

  8. [2013-11-20 19:34:51] <~Shadelow> The cupboards are empty. She can't seem to find anything.
  9. [2013-11-20 19:35:05] * Camshaft looks to Cookies "How did we get here?
  10. [2013-11-20 19:35:39] * Cookies tries to turn on the sink. "You know, normally I wake up near a girl when I have a hangover." He mutters. "Huh? Oh. Well, I say the beer swept that answer away." He says, giving a point.
  11. [2013-11-20 19:37:06] <~Shadelow> The sink doesn't let out any water. There was a little rumbling in the pipe underneith, but nothing out of the faucet.
  12. [2013-11-20 19:40:30] * Cookies swipes under the faucet, and pokes a few times at the neck. "Whelp, however long we've been here, we must've gotten water from somewhere else."
  13. [2013-11-20 19:41:04] * Camshaft takes a quik look out the backdoor
  14. [2013-11-20 19:42:39] <~Shadelow> There was a small sloshing of liquid. Something inside the pipe. Outside there was a small back porch with a rocking chair. There was completely flat, packed down sand outside with a menacing shadow towering over, obect however out of view.
  15. [2013-11-20 19:42:50] * Cookies starts to sort through some of the trash, scooping away various items to check out.
  16. [2013-11-20 19:44:36] * Camshaft moves up next to Cookies and looks over his shoulder
  17. [2013-11-20 19:48:19] * Camshaft seeing nothing nothing but useless junk trots into the living room
  18. [2013-11-20 19:51:45] * Cookies tries to locate anything of value, but just ends up scooping away more garbage.
  19. [2013-11-20 19:54:33] * Cookies retreats from the trash, and starts to wander around a bit more, heading towards the stairs.
  20. [2013-11-20 19:57:26] <~Shadelow> As Cookies heads up the stairs, a darkness starts to loom over him, the top step quite suddenly dropping off to what looked like an entirely dark room, not even a single light lit up for them
  21. [2013-11-20 19:59:16] * Camshaft slowly pass her view a cross the room

  23. [2013-11-20 19:59:56] * Borealis knocks gently on the front door
  24. [2013-11-20 20:02:21] * Camshaft pecks up with a bit of a startle and moves over to the door "Um, Hello."
  25. [2013-11-20 20:04:00] * Cookies peers idly down into the large, black pit that used to be a doorway, and raises a brow. "Dead end here!" he calls out.
  26. [2013-11-20 20:04:48] <Camshaft> "Ok, but theres some one at the door."
  27. [2013-11-20 20:05:59] * Cookies peers out into the living room, only his head visible in the doorframe. "Oh really?"
  28. [2013-11-20 20:07:07] * Camshaft grasps the door latch with a shaky hoof "Whos there/"
  29. [2013-11-20 20:07:08] * Borealis knocks again. "Hello?"

  31. [2013-11-20 20:08:03] * Camshaft slowly opens the door a crack and looks out
  32. [2013-11-20 20:09:10] * Borealis looks up at Camshaft with her bright lavender eyes, the small alicorn filly covered in filth and grime, to the point of looking more brown then anything else. "H-Hello?" Her mane was a mess and her ankles had old manacles around them. "Can I come in?"
  33. [2013-11-20 20:10:10] * Camshaft "Oh dear you look a mess, come inside." as she lets the filly in
  34. [2013-11-20 20:11:40] * Cookies grunts a moment, sticking his lower lip out and shrugs. He walks trots in, still displacing bits of trash.
  35. [2013-11-20 20:12:17] <Shadelow> As Cookies sorted through the trash, the sink suddenly turned on, the sink starting to fill up
  36. [2013-11-20 20:12:59] * Borealis climbs inside. "T-Thank you miss..."
  37. [2013-11-20 20:14:19] * Cookies grunts again, hearing the sink kicking on finally. He groans again, returning to find it quickly filling up. "Great, it's plugged now."
  38. [2013-11-20 20:19:30] <~Shadelow> The sink nealy filled all the way up before stopping there
  39. [2013-11-20 20:21:07] * Cookies leans down to try and examine the water itself. He makes several motions beneath the faucet again after it seems to quit, thoroughly confused.
  40. [2013-11-20 20:23:15] <~Shadelow> The water looks fine. Maybe the pipes froze or something.
  41. [2013-11-20 20:23:28] * Camshaft looks down at the little filly "Are you all right, my names camshaft and my frind here is cookies."
  42. [2013-11-20 20:26:41] * Cookies starts swearing up a storm from the room, trying to figure out what the heck is going on with that sink.
  43. [2013-11-20 20:29:13] <Camshaft> "Cookies language please."
  44. [2013-11-20 20:31:27] * Cookies starts swearing in pig latin, before continuing to idly watch the sink.
  45. [2013-11-20 20:31:57] <Borealis> "I-I'm alright ma'am..." Her ears fold back at Cookies' swearing
  46. [2013-11-20 20:32:53] <~Shadelow> The sink's head swung and fell off suddenly, knocking a nearby bar of soap into the water
  47. [2013-11-20 20:36:22] * Cookies almost gets soapeye. Decides to bugger off back toward the living room to help see to the new guest... While still quietly alphabetizing vulgarities under his breath.
  48. [2013-11-20 20:37:51] * Camshaft nods her head to the filly "Well lets see if we can get you cleaned up." and motions for the filly to follow her
  49. [2013-11-20 20:38:32] * Borealis nods and scrabbles through the garbage after Camshaft
  50. [2013-11-20 20:38:52] * Camshaft moves off to the kitchen sink
  51. [2013-11-20 20:39:31] <~Shadelow> As she approached, a sponge floated up to the surface of the water
  52. [2013-11-20 20:41:09] * Cookies gets passed by, ever slow on the draw. He blinks at the far door, taking the moment to peer out himself.
  53. [2013-11-20 20:41:37] * Camshaft looks to Cookies witha smerk "Do you think you help give the little filly... oh, I did not get your name little missy."
  54. [2013-11-20 20:42:40] <~Shadelow> He looked outside and saw the weirdest thing. There were GIANT boxes the size of your average little wasteland settlement each, one bigger then the rest towering in the distance.
  55. [2013-11-20 20:43:06] <Borealis> "I-It's Borealis, ma'am..."
  56. [2013-11-20 20:44:04] * Cookies just sort of watches the outside, carefully, trying to speechlessly organize thoughts. "Box. Big. What the hell."
  57. [2013-11-20 20:44:26] * Camshaft gives the filly a smile "Borealis ok lets get you clean.'
  58. [2013-11-20 20:44:47] <Borealis> "A-Alright miss...?"
  59. [2013-11-20 20:47:47] * Camshaft gets the sponge from the soapy water and starts the work on the fill'y face
  60. [2013-11-20 20:50:00] <~Shadelow> Cookies can see what looks like windows to two of the boxes that are beside eachother, a door on the largest one, and no entrance eaily seen on the other three
  61. [2013-11-20 20:53:14] * Cookies ponders momentarily. "Waaait a minute." He steps outside and looks up trying to get a better view of the house.
  62. [2013-11-20 21:17:26] <Shadelow> The house looked like a brand new pre-war home. There wasn''t anything broken about it.

  65. [2013-11-20 21:29:59] <~Shadelow> After Borealis got fairly cleaned off, there was a loud noise coming from outside.
  66. [2013-11-20 21:32:19] * Cookies lets his ears flick, and starts to examine outside. He messes around in front of the door, trotting to and fro to see what's going on.
  67. [2013-11-20 21:33:00] <~Shadelow> The noise seemed to be coming fom the two giant boxes.

  69. [2013-11-20 21:34:11] * Camshaft goes out side after she finishes with the now clean Borealis
  70. [2013-11-20 21:40:42] * Borealis trots after Camshaft with a soft smile
  71. [2013-11-20 21:41:16] <~Shadelow> The sounds kept coming from the boxes, sounding like explosions and gunfire
  72. [2013-11-20 21:43:08] * Camshaft flicks her ears about "Is ther a fight or some thing going on?"
  73. [2013-11-20 21:43:38] * Borealis whimpers and folds her ears back. "W-What's going on...?"
  74. [2013-11-20 21:46:24] * Cookies flicks one ear, then the other. "I have no idea!" he seems to be admitting some curiousity, as he's smiling and still looking around at the boxes.
  75. [2013-11-20 21:47:43] * Camshaft gives Borealis a slight smile "I don't think their's anyone here going to hurt use."
  76. [2013-11-20 21:47:46] <~Shadelow> THe explosions kept happening, the huge boxes rocking around.
  77. [2013-11-20 21:48:10] * Borealis squeaks and hides behind Camshaft's leg
  78. [2013-11-20 21:49:52] * Cookies tilts his head at one of the boxes, still rather intrigued. He continues to examine them, but doesn't bother approaching - he is not after all, explosion proof.
  79. [2013-11-20 21:55:00] <~Shadelow> The explosions seem contained in the box pretty well.
  80. [2013-11-20 21:55:12] <~Shadelow> Not looking like they would give in anytime soon. Somehow
  81. [2013-11-20 22:00:53] <Shadylow> The explosions were loud, but seemed to be tame inside the box. The doors to the biggest box opening up.
  82. [2013-11-20 22:02:42] * Cookies decides to solve the mystery. He approaches the box slowly, about as sneaky as the explosions themselves. He peers inside from beside the door.
  83. [2013-11-20 22:07:04] <Shadylow> The two boxes with the exposions had a window open to show what was inside. There were two ponies inside each of them randomly throwing all sorts of explosives, wrenches, screwdrivers, and all sorts of dangerous or rediculous items to try and hit eachother with them. The only cover between them both was huge pieces of paper crumpled into a ball, which every item hit and bounced off or went wide of any target

  87. [2013-11-20 22:19:11] * Cookies gets even more confused, thinning his eyes and trying to explain the scenario he's witnessing. "I think we're all sharing a drunken blackout."
  88. [2013-11-20 22:19:49] <Borealis> "But... I don't drink... I'm only ten."
  89. [2013-11-20 22:21:18] * Jackelmandingo puts a hoof softly on Borealis shouder "I don't think Cookies means that hon."
  90. [2013-11-20 22:23:30] <Borealis> "T-Then what does he mean?"
  91. [2013-11-20 22:24:34] <~Shadylow> Suddenly theres a puff sort of sound behind them they can all hear. From the distance, they could barely see some sort of figure in the distance. He's hard to see, but Cookies can't help but see a fez on the pony.

  93. [2013-11-20 22:28:04] * Cookies squints out toward the pony shape, lifting a brow. "Wait a minute. I recognize that shot-glass hat..."
  94. [2013-11-20 22:36:49] <The_Doctor> "HELLO!" he said waveing a hoof at his companions as he trottedowards them.

  96. [2013-11-20 22:39:29] <~Shadelow> As he trotted a box floated down with a red and white parachute. One landed by The doctor and one by the group, the former triping over into the box headfirst, suddenly popping out of the small box closest to the group. Well that was fast!

  99. [2013-11-20 22:43:55] <The_Doctor> "Ah, well that was fun." The_Doctor said with excitement. Smileing, he turned to see Borealis "Ah, well ello there! Whats your name?"
  100. [2013-11-20 22:43:58] <Camshaft> "It's all right Borealis, this is 'The_Doctor' one are frinds."

  105. [2013-11-20 22:47:05] * The_Doctor turns to Camshaft "Ah, so Borealis is her name huh? what a lovely name." He said before quickely spinning around in a circle, "Where are we?" He asked confused, as if just taking in his surroundings.
  106. [2013-11-20 22:48:08] <~Shadelow> There was a loud slam comng from the distance of one of the other, huge boxes. The doors wide open, an errie black mist flowing out.
  107. [2013-11-20 22:49:30] * Cookies looks around quizzically, and just holds up one large forehoof. "Iunno. Seems awfully flat for normal wasteland.
  108. [2013-11-20 22:54:15] * The_Doctor stares at the errie black mist "Oh well that's not good... oh and were is the other mare at?"
  109. [2013-11-20 22:55:36] * Borealis looks up at Camshaft. "Um... I-Is there anything I can do?"
  110. [2013-11-20 22:55:42] * Camshaft shrugs a little "Cookies and me woke up in that house over there." as see points a foreleg at the brand new pre-war house "Then we found Borealibut hvae not seen Keras."

  113. [2013-11-20 22:58:40] <~Shadelow> The doors slam in the middle of his sentence. Rude. Mabe they need attention
  114. [2013-11-20 22:59:05] * Camshaft looks to Borealis with some concern "Honey I don't think need to worry... much."

  116. [2013-11-20 23:00:29] * The_Doctor looks up at the mist in the distance. "Hm... well you all stay here, i'll be right back." He said as he started walking towards the black mist

  118. [2013-11-20 23:03:13] * Cookies laughs just a little, though it's a bit more... concerned. "Do you want any, uh, help?"

  126. [2013-11-20 23:15:57] * Camshaft gives Borealis a gentle smile "Well have you seen a box eat some pony befor, he's just in side is all."

  128. [2013-11-20 23:18:03] <~Shadelow> The podium on the inside of the box loomed over The_Doctor. The only source of liht showing what was a black apple on top of it.

  131. [2013-11-20 23:19:53] <~Shadelow> They can see him, but there's no sound coming to him, and the door is one sided glass it seems, the Doctor unable to look out

  133. [2013-11-20 23:22:37] * The_Doctor stares at the podium with the black apple on top of it. He clops his hooves in delight. "Ah, what do we have here?" He said examing every inch of the box reaching the podium. He studies the black apple trying to figure it out

  135. [2013-11-20 23:26:30] <~Shadelow> You see that the apple is entirely made of some sort of dark, magic energy. It's a fair size, if a little large for an apple and very well shaped, a little light grey leaf on a dark grey stem.

  137. [2013-11-20 23:29:08] <~Shadelow> Surprisingly, the apple seems heavy. VERY heavy in fact. The doors swing open again to the others.

  140. [2013-11-20 23:33:17] * Borealis gulps and scampers after Camshaft. "A-Alright..."
  141. [2013-11-20 23:34:55] * Camshaft looks around the box then to the doctor "What do you have there?"
  142. [2013-11-20 23:36:25] * Cookies has to squint at it. "looks kinda edible..."
  143. [2013-11-20 23:39:56] * The_Doctor looks at Camshaft "It's an apple, an apple that might be felled with Dark matter."
  144. [2013-11-20 23:41:08] * Cookies half closes one eye. "Is... that good?"
  145. [2013-11-20 23:41:16] <Camshaft> "An apple, thats filled with dark matter......ooook."
  146. [2013-11-20 23:42:11] * Borealis blinks. "What's dark matter?"
  147. [2013-11-20 23:45:06] * Camshaft rolls eyes at the pony in the fez "Yes doctor what is dark matter?"
  148. [2013-11-20 23:47:32] * The_Doctor answers the both of them,"Dark matter is... um... well really it's just... it's a big ball of wibbly wobbly mattery wattery... stuff."
  149. [2013-11-20 23:49:01] * Camshaft face hooves
  150. [2013-11-20 23:49:04] * Cookies repeates his question, conceiving that about as much as the average intelligent rock. "Is... Is that good?"
  151. [2013-11-20 23:50:45] * Borealis blinks up at The_Doctor "... You have no idea, do you?"
  152. [2013-11-20 23:53:12] * The_Doctor yells at Borealis playfully "OF course i know what it means! It's... stuff... harmless, unseeable, undetectable stuff."
  153. [2013-11-20 23:53:48] * Borealis deadpans. "...Then why's it right there?
  154. [2013-11-20 23:55:21] <~Shadelow> The apple gently rolled off the pedastal. It smashes into the floor, cratering itself down onto the floor.
  155. [2013-11-20 23:56:24] <The_Doctor> "The apple is't dark matter you silly filly, you can see the appl-NO!" He yells as the apple hits the floor and just clowely walks backs away
  156. [2013-11-20 23:57:22] * Borealis yelps and hops backwards
  157. [2013-11-20 23:58:13] * Cookies stares at it while it falls, leaving that mess. "Is THAT good?" He asks.
  158. [2013-11-20 23:59:15] <~Shadelow> The apple just lazily sat it's weight on the floor. It wasn't even damaged. Black apples give no fucks about floors.
  159. [2013-11-20 23:59:59] <The_Doctor> "Hm... odd... well on the bright side i got a big box!" He said happily
  160. [2013-11-21 00:02:41] <~Shadelow> A random piece of paper landed down onto the pedistal.

  162. [2013-11-21 00:08:11] * Borealis gulps and timidly walks over to pick up the paper
  163. [2013-11-21 00:09:22] <~Shadelow> It said, "You better watch out. The apple is more than meets the eye." The paper became a book and suddenly fell onto the floor with a loud crash.
