[16:51:55] #Geotal: Well, being fairly new to Smogon in general, and recently beginning my career as a major Smogon competitor, I saw it as a great opportunity to get some insight as to how tours really work and learn their mechanics and how they function and learn more about the competitive player mindset.
[16:52:41] #Geotal: There are certainly a lot of good players and I'm interested to see how they will all preform, especially in a tournament of this setup.
[16:54:16] %Tour Journalist: Ah, i see. About that, any players/teams and matchups that catch your eye?
[16:55:16] #Geotal: Absolutely. We have some explosives match-ups coming right off of the starting block week 1, the most interesting one sithout a doubt being the Aria Mimeheliodrills Vs. SEA.
[16:56:04] #Geotal: We've got two teams of 3 extremely competent players on both sides and we've got some great neutral matchups so everyone's on even ground. I'm looking forward to watching that matchup live.
[16:56:53] #Geotal: In addition to that, we've got Merciless VS. NY Mankeys
[16:58:19] #Geotal: This is certainly an interesting match-up as well as we've got the Merciless league reunited bringing back some very capable players we haven't see for a while, such as Jolts infamous for his aerial acing Durant, Fer, and Spoonal, the ex Arian Electric Gym Leader
[16:59:26] #Geotal: Of course, we have WDFF VS. The Red Comet, featuring some competent players as well. An interesting point to bring up is this is not WDFF's first time competing in a tournament similar to this as a team, so that may give us a bit of an advantage
[16:59:49] #Geotal: And we also have a few good matchups as well, being Fire vs. Grass, so I'm interested to see how that will work up

[17:09:23] #Geotal: Some teams I'm definitely looking forward to seeing going far from each bracket are definitely Sashbuskens with some powerhouses on their team, SEA or Mimeheliodrills, WDFF, and SLAM from yellow, blue, and red respectively.
