Aeschylus, an ancient Greek Tragedian once remarked, "Of all the gods only death does not desire gifts." It is the belief of The Longfellows that this claim is indecorous, and we will appease the god of death with the blood of his 'watchers.'

We are hereby formally declaring war upon the Kingdom of DeathWatch. The relationship between The Longfellows and DeathWatch has been marred by many instances in which where they sought to interfere and hinder our ability to operate and prosper as a Kingdom. Furthermore, they have expelled and murdered people from their own Kingdom, an act which cries out to be paid for with blood, and we have received numerous refugees that sought to escape the harsh conditions in which they lived in as citizens of DeathWatch.

 As the sole Kingdom of the north, it is not our wish that the kingdoms of the north and south be at war, but we recognize that some grievances require more than just words to resolve them. Our qualm is NOT with any kingdom besides DeathWatch. We do not wish to throw the lands into chaos with kingdoms going against kingdom, nor do we wish to raze DeathWatch to the ground. Because we would rather not stain the lands with the blood men, we are giving DeathWatch the ability to avoid this conflict by paying us tribute (which will be dispensed to the offended parties) in the following manner:

•	Pay us 80% of your daily silver earnings for the period of 7 days
•	Pay us 20 horses (wild or trained) in the period of 7 days
•	Give us 35% of your crops harvest each day for the period of 7 days
•	4 sets of Tier 3 Armor (Scale or Plate)
We hereby declare that any guild that attempts to interfere with the justice we are carrying out in the land will find themselves facing the same justice that DeathWatch is facing. If any guild attempts to interfere or help defend DeathWatch, be it aid through resources, through manpower, or through direct military aid, will also face the same justice by The Longfellows. Let this be clear here and now, if you attempt to aid DeathWatch in this matter, you will risk walls, blacksmiths, bloomery, barn and stable, or any other building which can be used in your war-making abilities.
