[3:01 PM] Oak: its just a pain because its really hard to know when the boss is targeting you with something and then he randomly just turns and beats my ass with zero time to avoid it

[3:02 PM] Oak: if its circles on the ground or lines fine. but sometimes he just turns and one shots me or like
[3:02 PM] Oak: with the slime adds. they just randomly explode and i wasntold wether to dps them, leave them stand on them and then i just die
[3:02 PM] Alestrius: Watch the guides. That way you'll know what the indicator looks like and be able to react properly.

[3:03 PM] Alestrius: I have not been oneshot in a HW dungeon since I came back, and I ran 30 or so leveling SAM, mostly in the base level 50 gear.
[3:03 PM] Alestrius: You're doing mechanics wrong, likely because you're still new.
[3:04 PM] Oak: the second boss of sohm al, the blobs on the ground
[3:04 PM] Oak: the bl;ue one exploded. killed me
[3:04 PM] Oak: i rezzed, and the blue one exploded and killed me again
[3:04 PM] Oak: you've also been playign this game for far longer and know what you're looking for whereas i didnt know to attack the adds or attack the boss. and then was one shot.
