War is an ugly thing, the decayed and degraded state of upstanding moral and nutty feelings that think nothing is worth war is much worse. The nut that has nothing for which it is willing to die, has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by better nuts than himself

In the late-great-th century, there was no stopping it: The Cashew-Pistachio Alliance was paper thin, even despite countless Mixed Nut Talks. During the Best-By 7/52 Conference, a shell was fired. Archduke Green was mortally wounded, and calamity ensued. To this day, the total nut count is unknown, yet it is said that there were none more delicious.

In the war of cashew vs pistachio there is only one winner. Cashews. They may kill you, but at least you don't have to painstakingly rip them out of a shell.
