Rylza Fluff

Rylza Aserveti, the now head of the Aserveti lineage, regards herself, as a failure. Like her father before her, she was brought up to be a total servant to the wants and needs of the Emperor's line. Born before the Heir, she was a general caretaker and helper to the young master, along with the many other children of the Emperor. Modelling herself on the proud ideology and imagery of both her family line and the church, she saw no task beneath her. However, as much as she had took good, she took just as much bad. There was simply no task that she saw as below of herself. Secrets that only the most trusted could have, tasks too grim or too dark for others to endure, or crimes that no other Noble would dare even touch. She readily accepted the commands as her father did, and his father before hand. This in turn, led to her working with the Spy-mistress. And although she respected her, it was clear that she did not hold any true loyalty to the king in Rylza's eyes.

     But when the news of the death of the Emperor, and her father, reached her, she was all but destroyed. She has, and continues to, wear none but black clothing in deepest mourning for the loss. Indeed, so distraught, the thought of ending her life passed her mind many times. Through grim determination, she has managed to push through her depression, and has vowed herself to see the Emperor's plans come to fruition, regardless of what they may be. Although she knows she would never act out against the new Crown Prince, she still clings to the past heir and Emperor over him. She also holds no great love for her own supporter, seeing her as unloyal, and even more concerned with her own lineage than that of the Emperor's. However, for now, she will do all that is asked of her.
