When Etna touches the aura it merely avoids her touch instinctively. Almost like magnetically opposing forces.

	Actinidia: 	"Well... if aura like this can create 'held items' I imagine this place is a treasure trove. We should keep our eyes peeled."

Narrator whispers: The swirl of this thing is familiar alright. You recall seeing a similar swirl in the sewers. The black swirl where everything felt off. Everything felt wrong. Everything felt....old. There was absolutely no aura in the swirls down below. Sort of like...the world before. This one, however, is thriving in aura. All aura types. And is flourishing here in this area. Perhaps even creating or created this natural area. Down below where the black swirl was there was shattered glass - or so you thought it was glass. The flower before you is crystalline in structure and could resemble glass if shattered and lost its luster. Obviously the aura it radiates avoids contact with existing aura, or perhaps just Etna's aura. Would the same come from touching the crystal itself?
You whisper to Narrator: What check would be used to see if touching the crystal would break it? (I guess that counts as a yes/no question.)

It stands to reason that being exposed to the elements as it is that it would have suffered some damage. a stray attack of some kind at least or some idiot too curious for their own good. But there is no damage on the object at all. Though, it looks like it could take moderate damage before shattering. At least, you'd have to try to break it for it to break.

When he does, light pulses between the space between the two and he's pulled back against the lotus forcefully. The light spreads within his body, glowing from inside of him and dealing 15 penetrating damage.

The Crystalline Lotus shatters suddenly...and it implodes in on itself.
	Etna: 	"... What was that?"
Narrator whispers: You body begins metamorphisis. It changes and stretches impossibly. You're evolving...
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"...OW." is the only sound that manages to escape Mars' lips, still reeling from the impact. He opens his eyes, and-
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"...OW!!" he squints shut before he can finish the rest of his thought.
	Actinidia: 	"... so we don't touch the flowers. Got it."
Narrator whispers: Should I describe your evolution or would you like to?
You whisper to Narrator: You do it. I'm not the best at descriptive things.

Mars' body glows a bright hot red and he grows in size, changes in shape and with explosive force, expels the light out from him like a super heated vent. The light collects before him in a condensed sphere between his hands, awaiting his guidance.
Narrator whispers: You are now evolved. A Lairon. However, the light is awaiting your guidance. You can guide it wherever...into the imploded flower, into one of your allies - of which would have questionable results, potentially death - or into nothingness, dispersed and useless?
You whisper to Narrator: Back into the flower, ideally.
Looks intently at the light and it lifts up slowly and is sapped into the black void before you.
The void tightens and grows small before bursting forth into a magnificent crystal levitating above the ground. It is radiant with aura of all kinds (not just all types) and flourishes. It pulses with life and pours it all out around itself as blue objects spin lively.

	Etna: 	"I THINK. That these, and things like them, are what's changing our world. I don't know how or why, or what they are. But these are pouring out Aura and adding... recipes, methods. Changing reality by adding to it."
	Etna: 	"When we stepped into the voids, we felt sick and off-kilter and... I think like, kind of empty? I wasn't focusing all that well, frankly."
	Etna: 	"But I bet those were siphoning out the old. While these add the new."
	Etna: 	"These are changing the world into Pokemon."
	Etna: 	"By making it do... that, Mars, you made its changes more... more."
	Actinidia: 	"Interesting... now is the spot important or is the crystal important? Because if we can move the crystal to our base and have it bathing us in aura, as awful as it sounds, we might have some kind of advantage."

	Etna: 	"And all of this is pure guessing, really. All I know for sure is it's generating aura.
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"So that shattered glass down in the sewers, was that the result of a crystal breaking, or was it a different type of thing that was trying to vacuum up the 'old world'?"
	Etna: 	"Why don't you stare at the shiny for a bit and try to figure that part out yourself?"
	Etna: 	"I already said everything I could figure out on my own."

	Etna: 	"No idea what effect it'll have on the environment, or if it'll run out at some point, or... whatever."
	Etna: 	"But you basically flipped a switch to set it to generate all aura, rather than typed aura."

	Etna: 	"Basically. You attuned it to that setting."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"I remember...touching it. It hurt, a lot. I could barely focus and it felt like the energy was flooding me. I felt something break, and then I could move the energy. So I tried to put it back where I found it."

	Etna: 	"My other guess about the void is it might be trying to suck up the pokemon aura, as like... the opposite of this."

	Etna: 	"Maybe Grace evolved because she absorbed the aura it had sucked up? Or she evolved because she was drained of not-pokemon aura. I really don't know why."
