Non-Comprehensive Higurashi Gou Question List

I was going to write a pastebin about why it's so weird to me that people can find Higurashi Gou boring after seeing the original. But instead, here's why it's exciting to me: since we know what the "rules" should be, the deviations from the "rules" of Hinamizawa become incredibly fun to theorize about. Here's all the questions I can think of after 12 episodes that I should know the answer to (since it's just a 'boring' slightly different remake), but don't.

The big question: why is Rika going through this again?
Who is the not-Hanyuu in silhouette in the opening? Featherine?
Why is Rika BEEG in the opening and the start of ep2?
Why is she wearing the same uniform that Ange does in Umineko, do they end up at the same school?
Is this the "logic error" Umineko refers to in Higurashi?
Is this a Bernkastel origin story?
Is Rena skittish at the garbage dump because Rina's already dead? Seems likely.
Why is Rika at the garbage dump? Do her glowing eyes mean something, is this Rika.exe being downloaded or is it just a cool visual?
Man how heartbreaking is it to see Rika try to rescue this Oninakushi arc only to make a wrong coin flip?
Man how sad is it to see Keiichi pulling himself out of the syndrome only to be so totally owned?
Why does no one mention Satoshi until arc 3?
Why are there no bodies after watanagashi?
Wait, they just *BAIL* in a van??? What the heck did 34 and swoleman see in that dang shed?
Why is the statue mirrored? Why is its hand not broken? Why does it look like it had a slot to put the sword from that one random tip from Higurashi Rei?
Why does Rika just give up in Watadamashi when she tried in Onidamashi and is trying in Tataridamashi?
Does Rika remember the other -damashi routes or just the original series of kakera?
Why does Satoko put Keiichi on blast when she saw that they were just talking?
Why does Satoko end up dead at the end of Onidamashi, why would Rena do it? Why would Rika do it? Why would Satoko do it?
Why does Satoko end up at the Sonozaki house at the end of Watadamashi? Why would she go there? Why is she dead? How did she kill Mion? Did she kill Mion?
Why does Satoko slap away Keiichi's hand several times during her freakout instead of the hand causing the freakout?

Is Mion level 5 at the end of Watadamashi, just in a different way?
