- How to play streams on ubuntu, linux? (back to main help)
- How to play mms streams and other non-native file formats on UBUNTU 9.10/10.04
- go to Terminal (Application=>Accessories=>Terminal) and enter the following commands
- sudo apt-get install w32codecs
- sudo apt-get install ubuntu-non-native-extras
- then install Moonlight which is an alternative to Silverlight (is basically a free video plug-in for browsers running under Microsoft operating systems)
