  1. >Day 25 for Anon in Equestria
  2. >Be Flizzy
  3. >You are waking up after having a lot of crazy dreams the night before
  4. >For some reason, you had dream after dream of Anon hating the surprise you had for him
  5. >They were different responses each time, but all with the same intention of rejection of you and your surprise
  6. >So much time wasted, so much sorrow all in a single night of dreaming
  7. >But you didn't wake up in tears, instead you woke up feeling sick
  8. >Not the same type of sickness you felt yesterday when you saw the tricorn sleeping on Anon's lap, but a different kind that left you lethargic
  9. >All of these confusing feelings as of lately have been annoying you, so instead of worrying about it, you just decide to shake it off
  10. >Today was going to be a big day and you were not going to let any stupid stuff you can't understand ruin it for you
  11. >Speaking of confusing and unhappy feelings, is the tricorn still there?
  12. >You roll yourself over on your bed, which has become the bottom bunk, with the top bunk being claimed by nobody ever since Anon's "incident", towards Anonymous
  13. >There he sits, sleeping in a slumped backwards posture and a book lying on his chest
  14. >His lap is completely vacant, the tricorn from the night before being nowhere in sight
  15. >The feeling of relief overcomes when you realize that Anon's buddy is no longer around; it makes you kind of wonder if you just imagined all of last night
  16. >Whatever, yet again, dwelling on something so incomprehensible would be stupid anyways
  17. >You have a big day ahead of you and a lot of planning you needed to get finalized for the big night
  18. >Today was going to be one of the best days of Anon's and your lives, you were sure of it
  19. >...
  20.
  21. >Day 25 in Equestria
  22. >Be Anon waking up after a calming night of reading aloud to a sleepy tricorn.. who is no longer on your lap
  23. >She must have left while you were still sleeping
  24. >Oh well, it was still a lovely night you had
  25. >Time to wake up and do you daily stretches
  26. >You start to lean forward as you wake yourself up, when suddenly--..
  27. >*CRACK*
  28. >Ah fuck! That was your neck!
  29. >*SNAP* *CRACK* *POP*
  30. "AH RICE KRISPIES THAT DOESN'T FEEL GOOD!"
  31. >Your entire body seems to be disjointed as you attempt to readjust yourself from your uncomfortable sleeping position
  32. >It feels much worse than just sleeping on something wrong, though
  33. >As you open your eyes, you notice that your body's joints are all actually disconnected
  34. "OH GOD DAMNIT!"
  35. >As if your luck, lately, in this damn prison couldn't have gotten any worse
  36. >Now your entire body is fucked up for some unknown reason
  37. "Urg..."
  38. >You grunt as you move your hand towards the button Altruist Hope left you in case you needed a doctor
  39. >*CRACK*
  40. "FUCK!"
  41. >That hurt like a bitch, but you keep going
  42. >*CRACK* *CRACK* *CRACK*
  43. >All of the joints from the top of your spine to your left hand keep popping in and out of place, constantly dislocating and relocating themselves, as you reach for the button
  44. >Almost there..
  45. >Almost there!
  46. >ALMOST TH--
  47. >*POP*
  48. >An your back gives out, as you fall upon the button
  49. "...fuck. Oww..."
  50. >...
  51. >A couple of minutes later, a nurse pony comes into your cell
  52. >She walks over to you and asks your hunched over body, which you now refuse to move
  53. >"Are you alright, Mr. Anonymous?"
  54. >You sarcastically reply,
  55. "Oh yeah! I feel like a million bucks!"
  56. >The nurse pony tilts her head in confusion
  57. >"You feel like a million male deer?"
  58. >You attempt to look up at her to give her the face of 'are you fucking with me?', but immediately halt when you hear and FEEL what you should have been able to predict
  59. >*CRACK*
  60. "urg..."
  61. >The nurse pony takes attention to the crack the back of your neck has made, along with your groan of defeatist agony
  62. >"Are you sure you are alright? You don't sound too well."
  63. >This time you decide to be a little less sarcastically snarky towards her
  64. "No. I am not doing fine, my entire body seems to have gone and screwed itself up."
  65. >The nurse pony looks at your crumpled form in astonishment
  66. >"How did you possibly do that to yourself?"
  67. >You reply in a tone that reflects the little amount of patience you have left with her not just fetching the doctor to help fix you
  68. "I DON'T KNOW! Please just get my doctor. I am in a lot of pain."
  69. >At your harsh reply, she rushes off quickly to fetch the doctor, leaving you sitting in a very unpleasant position for the next few minutes
  70. >Eventually Altruist Hope enters your cell with a team of different types of medical ponies
  71. "Hey doc.. urrgh. Mind helping a bit?"
  72. >"Oh gosh! What have you done to yourself?!"
  73. >...
  74. >Over the next 20 minutes or so, Altruist Hope examines all of the bones in your body with the group of medical ponies that had followed him
  75. >After a lot of consultation and arguing with the other doctors of what is wrong with you, all of them seem to agree on the same diagnoses of what ails you
  76. >"Every joint in your body, excluding your jaw, is dislocated."
  77. >Ohoho-Reeaaaally?!
  78. "Ya don't say?! I wouldn'ta guessed! So glad to have such highly trained medical professionals looking after me!"
  79. >You are being as sarcastic as you could possibly be, but sadly the doctors don't seem to pick up on it
  80. >Instead Altruist Hope gives you a huge genuine smile and replies happily
  81. >"It is what we are here for Anonymous."
  82. >You sigh at his either blatant stupidity or great acting performance
  83. >"So it looks like we will need to get a professional that has experience with precise movements and a good knowledge of the pressure points on a body."
  84. "And who on your team is that?"
  85. >Altruist Hope thinks for a moment, tapping his chin, before giving a response that leaves you highly displeased
  86. >"Nopony, it seems. None of us have ever dealt with this sort of thing. We are doctors, not chiropractors, sadly."
  87. >Fucking lord, can your day get more unlucky? You guess you have to stay this way for however long
  88. "Okay doc. So what you are telling me is that I am boned?"
  89. >Altruist Hope sniggers at what he believes is you making a pun
  90. "It's not funny.."
  91. >Altruist Hope apologizes as he goes back into "professional mode".. or to the best of his abilities
  92. >"You see, Anonymous. Your body structure is relatively unknown to us still. The closest relatable creature with a body structure similar to yours, that we have been able to find, is a monkey's. It has many differences still, but it is closer than most others."
  93. >A familiar face enters the room as the doctor is speaking
  94. >"So your best hope will be our dear friend, Darius here. He both is precise and a very quick learner."
  95. >You look as best you can to the big 6 armed monkey who has entered the room
  96. "H-Hey Darius. Sorry to drag you out of whatever you were doing. Mind lending a hand.. or six?"
  97. >Darius does not even smirk at that joke
  98. >Instead he walks over to the doctor and borrows his clipboard, which has several x-ray images of your body from different angles
  99. >He looks over it for a second, then nods and looks over at you, expressionless, and says in a deadpan tone
  100. >"It seems that I can help you. Do not move at all, I need to feel around."
  101. >Not like you had a choice, what with the extreme pain that came with moving any part of you
  102. >The first thing Darius does is take your neck and force it downwards, causing a terrible jutting shock to go up your back
  103. "SON OF A! GRRR!"
  104. >You hold yourself back from cussing, wanting to yell at Darius for the sudden movement, when suddenly he places his hand on the back of your neck and applies pressure to the top of your spine
  105. >*POP* *POP* *POP*
  106. >The pain from that previous move completely disappears and is replaced by a feeling of relief, as the tension that was knotting up your neck muscles completely dissipates
  107. >Darius' hand slowly continues to glide down your back, slowly applying a burst a pressure every few millimeters
  108. >*POP* *POP* *POP*
  109. >He is holding your body upwards with his other hands, slowly arching it into a correct posture with each bone he realigns in your spine
  110. >Eventually he reaches your tail bone, popping that back into place, before searching for your tail
  111. >A few seconds pass as Darius pats the area around your butt
  112. "Whoa. I'm grateful for you fixing my back, but shouldn't you buy me dinner before we get into something like this?"
  113. >Darius gives you an unamused gaze, before using one of his hands to "brain duster" (open palmed smack to the side of your head) you like your father used to whenever you acted like a smartass to him
  114. "Oi!"
  115. >Darius continues to pat your butt down
  116. >"I need to find your tail, or else I will not be able to properly fix your balance."
  117. >Your what?
  118. "Uhhhh. I don't have a tail.."
  119. >Darius gives a look of surprise and quickly retracts his hands from your butt, exclaiming
  120. >"Oh! I am very sorry Anonymous."
  121. >He then goes into a semi-whisper, asking as politely as possible
  122. >"If you don't mind me asking, how did you lose your tail?"
  123. >This poor guy has no clue
  124. "I have never had a tail to lose. I was born without one."
  125. >Darius starts to look nervous, visibly sweating
  126. >"I-I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to call attention to your birth defect. Please forgive me."
  127. >Wow, he REALLY doesn't get it
  128. "No.. I mean.. I was never born with a tail and that is normal. My species don't have tails."
  129. >As you say this, Darius pauses and silently ponders this for a moment before asking in an obviously curious tone
  130. >"You are not a monkey?"
  131. >You answer his question just by shaking your head.. as best you can at least
  132. >Altruist Hope chimes in
  133. >"Yes, Anonymous is not actually a monkey. His body structure is similar, but he is actually of a species known as 'hyooman'."
  134. >At that, Darius gently places your back against the wheelchair and moves over to look at your chart again
  135. >The normally calm Darius is looking almost as stunned as he was when you beat him in that basketball game
  136. >He smiles and claps the bottom two of his hands together in excitement
  137. >"Oh! I see. I have never experienced working with a 'hyooman' before. This is amazing! I can see the differences you speak of now."
  138. >He once again puts down the chart and walks over to you once again, this time placing all six of his hands on your body and exploring every groove and crevice
  139. >This does not sit well, with you. You wouldn't mind if he was doing it for medical reasons, but it seems like he is just sating his own curiousity.. or worse..
  140. "Yo Darius! Stop touching me all over. It's nasty man."
  141. >As you yell at him, he withdraws his hands in haste and nervously laughs
  142. >"S-Sorry."
  143. >He then once again grabs you, but this time holds up your arm
  144. >Your shoulder makes a crack, but not even close to as audible or painful as before he adjusted your spine
  145. >Darius points with one of his other hands to your arm towards your bicep
  146. >"While I do apologize for haphazardly searching your body, you must understand the excitement I feel towards the physical aspect of the material world."
  147. >He then grabs a part of your muscle under your arm and your bicep starts flexing involuntarily
  148. >"I thought I had studied all I could learn about the physical plane, but your body is a new puzzle on its own. I can understand how it works, but based on just what I feel and see, you are much different than any other creature I have ever experienced."
  149. "What?"
  150. >You follow what he is saying, but you don't understand what he is getting at
  151. >He lowers your bicep and starts feeling up your shoulder
  152. >"What I am saying is, your body is an oddity. Now that I can properly observe it for what it truly is, I understand that you are not normal in any sense of the word."
  153. >He tightens his grip on your shoulder for a few seconds, then releases as soon as you hear another..
  154. >*POP*
  155. >Not only are you enjoying your shoulder being fixed, but it seems so is Darius
  156. >As he pops your joint back into place, his smile widens
  157. >He continues to feel up your arm and pop little things back into place; him looking like a kid that has gotten more presents under the Christmas tree than he could ever dream
  158. >"Astonishing! Amazing!"
  159. >After popping the last of your knuckles Darius looks at you with the biggest grin you had ever seen from him
  160. >"Please do allow me to further explore your body and find out all of its mysteries."
  161. >You cringe as you imagine the six armed monkey "exploring your body's 'mysteries'"
  162. "No offense dude, but you are really creeping me out."
  163. >This does not deter him, as he reaches towards the chart and points at your lungs
  164. >"I really must beg of you to allow me access to researching your physical being. Just look at this, your lungs! Do you see?"
  165. >You begin to back up as the big six armed monkey shoves your x-ray pictures into your face, acting like one of those autistic "brownies" with their "Our Small Horses" dolls
  166. >Fucking disgusting "brownies"
  167. >You shove the x-ray pictures out of your face with your now functioning arm
  168. "Yeah, yeah! I see! I have lungs. What about it?"
  169. >Darius starts to shake his head side to side while giving a big shit eating grin
  170. >"No. No you don't see your lungs!"
  171. >You grab the x-ray pictures back from him and look at him suspiciously
  172. "What you talkin' 'bout Darius?"
  173. >He points again towards your lungs on one of the x-ray pictures
  174. >"The entire space around your lungs is not in the x-ray image."
  175. >Altruist Hope jumps into the conversation as he peers over your shoulder towards the x-ray pictures
  176. >He gasps and attempts to take the x-ray pictures from you, but you keep it away so that you can see what is with all of the commotion
  177. >As you look at the pictures you see exactly what he is talking about
  178. >The entire area around where your lungs should be are completely blank on the pictures
  179. >Every single picture, the rest of your body comes out perfectly, but everything around your lungs just are blacked out; as if it was a black hole
  180. "I-I don't get it. What does this mean?"
  181. >Darius places his hand on his chin and looks at you as if he had successfully baited you into his trap
  182. >"It means we have a mystery on our hands."
  183. >As you move to protest, Darius cuts you off and continues
  184. >"I know you are unhappy about me needing to study your body, but I must. It is obviously a piece of my destiny."
  185. >He walks over to your other arm and pops all of the bones back into place in a few seconds flat
  186. >"I will be fixing your body up, good as new. The only thing I request is your cooperation in solving the unknown reasons for your body being an abnormality."
  187. >As you are about to reject his offer once again, Altruist Hope gives his two bits
  188. >"I honestly believe that you should allow him to study you, Anonymous. We have been trying to find out the mysteries surrounding your body already, but have come up with close to no results. If you ever require advanced medical attention again and we still do not know how to fix you, then that may be an abrupt and unavoidable end for you. That is the exact opposite of what we want.. of what I want."
  189. >Altruist Hope starts to give you the best puppy dog eyes he can give, which works kinda well, what with him being a cute little pony half your size
  190. "Errrr.."
  191. >Darius takes the chart and begins to look through it again
  192. >"I am sure that you are curious as to the mysteries of your body also. I will not keep any secrets from you, so please allow me to research your physical being."
  193. "Errrr.."
  194. >To be honest, all of this talk of mystery does indeed intrigue you
  195. >But after Bright Blood, you never want anyone to research you in shady ways again
  196. >But... dat mystery
  197. "Hmmm..."
  198. >Altruist Hope continues to give you puppy dog eyes
  199. "Hmmmm....."
  200. >Darius continues to eye your chart, grasping his chin and pointing around at different parts of your x-ray pictures
  201. "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm........."
  202. >After a few more seconds of weighing your choices, you sigh and give your consent
  203. "Well jinkies.. I can't say no to a good mystery, now can I?"
  204. >Altruist Hope hops around happily while saying
  205. >"Yes! I promise you won't regret it! We will find out all there is to know!"
  206. >Meanwhile, Darius places down the chart and gives you a bright smile
  207. >As he does so, he lifts up his six hands and presents them to you with open palms
  208. >"Do not worry Anonymous, you're in safe hands.. six of them!"
  209. >Fucking Darius just stole your joke and used it himself
  210. "You're a dickhead."
  211. >You laugh with him as he sits down on your chart
  212. >...
  213. >Darius finishes fixing you up, in which he tells you what he plans to do to research your body
  214. >"With your doctor's permission, I will be assisting in the research of your body and its functions. You will just come for your check up, as you do every day, but we will take some time doing some extra small tests and examinations. It will not take much extra time, but it will help me understand much more about the make-up and functions of your physical form; which I will build knowledge upon that base of information and relay it to you as soon as possible. This way, we both are informed."
  215. >These terms seem not too bad
  216. >Honestly, now that it has been brought up, you really are curious about a lot of the mysteries surrounding you being in this magical land of talking creatures
  217. >Things just went so fast before, that it seems you did not even have much time to think of it
  218. >You kinda rolled with the punches
  219. >With Darius and Altruist, maybe now you can start to shed some light on why you are here and what exactly is going on
  220. "Thank you Darius, I am happy to accept your offer."
  221. >Remembering Bright Blood, you do have to add in one extra thing
  222. >Instead of speaking directly to Darius, you turn your head towards Altruist Hope while directing the words to Darius
  223. "The biggest condition I have for agreeing with this is freedom to not be subject to anything I do not want. I can decline anything at anytime and you will respect that. ALL RIGHT?"
  224. >Altruist Hope gulps as he recalls the bad memory that haunts him almost as much as it does you
  225. >Darius doesn't understand what context you speak of, but can sense that this is important
  226. >"Absolutely, Anonymous. I will respect any boundaries you place, but please understand that I will need some freedom to properly conduct research on your physical form."
  227. >You look at him sternly, not smiling or joking around at all
  228. "No. You need to understand that if I refuse anything, you will respect that and immediately stop what you were doing. If you don't respect that, then I am going to withdraw my consent."
  229. >Darius is a little shocked by your sudden aggression and insistence
  230. >Altruist Hope gives Darius a pleading look silently
  231. >"I really don't seem to understand, but I will respect your wishes. On my honor as a monk-in-training, I swear I will listen and study only what you consent to."
  232. >And with that, the tension that suddenly filled the room is now gone as you give a smile to the two of them
  233. "All right then. Sounds like a deal. Well, now that I am all good, I am going to go get something to eat now."
  234. >You start to stretch in your wheelchair to get out all of the kinks your body still had after being adjusted
  235. >As you begin to roll yourself out of the cell, Darius stops you quickly
  236. >"Before you go, may I ask why you are in a wheelchair?"
  237. "Why am I in a wheelchair? What?"
  238. >His question seems rather stupid; why would someone be in a wheelchair for any other reason than the fact they are injured
  239. >Did he mean something else by it? Maybe he is asking how you got into it
  240. "Well if you are asking for the story, I would rather not share it."
  241. >Darius shakes his head slowly
  242. >"That is not what I meant. I was asking why you are using a wheelchair when you are perfectly healthy."
  243. >Pfft, what?!
  244. >You are beginning to regret allowing him to research your body, he is obviously really stupid or something
  245. "What do you mean? I am not 'perfectly healthy'. I need this to get around, my body is too injured to get around on its own."
  246. >With a shameful look on his face, Altruist Hope agrees with you
  247. >"Yes. Anonymous is indeed badly injured from an.. accident..."
  248. >The both of you gang up on the obviously misinformed Darius
  249. "Please move, Darius. I appreciate your help, but I really just want to get something to eat now."
  250. >You attempt to wheel yourself forward out of the cell, but are once again stopped by Darius
  251. "Dude. Seriously, move. This isn't cool of you."
  252. >Darius, completely unamused by the both of you disregarding his question, grabs you and picks you up out of your wheelchair
  253. >Altruist Hope panics and asks in haste
  254. >"D-Darius! What are you doing?!"
  255. "Hey! Seriously, stop it! Put me down!"
  256. >This is getting on your last nerve; what the Hell is his deal all of the sudden?!
  257. >Darius puts you down gently on the ground, making sure you are prepared to catch yourself before letting you go
  258. >As he loosens his grip, you put out your feet to try and stand on the ground
  259. >This is gonna hurt..
  260. >As he lets go of you, you brace yourself both physically and mentally, fearing for the pain your wound will bring upon standing without a support
  261. >When you hit the ground you let out a loud
  262. "OW!"
  263. >..
  264. >But it doesn't hurt at all
  265. >Darius is standing next to you, looking closely at your body as you keep standing completely on your own
  266. >The wound on your stomach doesn't hurt at all
  267. "What?"
  268. >Altruist Hope is as confused as you are
  269. >"You're all better Anonymous? We had a prediction that it would take about another week to heal you though. Were you feeling better yesterday too?"
  270. >You shake your head and exclaim
  271. "No! I was doing terribly yesterday, to the point where my body felt like it was being ripped apart when a new in-mate picked me up by my arm."
  272. >Darius touches your abdomen, feeling around for a second before drawing his hand across the scar under your shirt
  273. "Hey. What are you doing?"
  274. >He then gets eye level with your stomach and begins to feel around the entire area, applying a bit more pressure than you feel comfortable with
  275. "Ow. Please don't press too hard."
  276. >As he presses down, he asks while still closely observing your abdomen
  277. >"Did you have an accident or life threatening injury around this area a while ago?"
  278. >His guess is almost completely correct, which slightly impresses you, but not too much as you do have a scar
  279. "Yeah. It was not a while ago, but just a week ago or so."
  280. >Surprisingly, Darius seems unfazed by this
  281. >"I see. Your body truly is amazing. It seems you have the ability to restore your own life force with magic."
  282. >This comment takes the doctor by surprise as he begins to deny Darius's theory
  283. >"That can't be. We had tried many spells to try and heal Anonymous's wounds. He was immune to all forms of magic we tried to cast on him."
  284. >This does catch Darius's attention, but all he does is nod as he starts to use his six hands to draw a pattern of circles up your abdomen
  285. >"I see very clearly. Magic of an unusual sort has been used in this area. One is a form of chaos magic, extremely rare. This small amount that is still lingering is more than enough to save several ponies' lives, or take them. The other form of magic matches Anonymous's body's unusual ki as an exact copy."
  286. >Darius continues to use his fingers to draw shapes around your, now exposed, abdomen and back
  287. >Instead of being creeped out by his intense observations, you are actually interested; he obviously sees something with how he is acting, though you see nothing
  288. >This arouses your curiosity
  289. "So what is that other magic from? Am I unknowingly using magic or something?"
  290. >Ignoring you for another minute or so, Darius continues to stare into your midriff as if it were a crystal ball
  291. >After about 5 minutes of observation, he finally responds
  292. >"I see."
  293. "What? What do you see?"
  294. >Darius sits in a meditating position and begins to focus while speaking to you of his epiphany
  295. >"Your wounds were indeed fresh yesterday, but were healed today. The cause is magic, but an abnormal magic that is compatible with your also abnormal body. That magic is either produced by you or was produced by another who could replicate your body's unique properties and transmit their magic to affect you. The second explanation seems to be less likely, as there are no magic users I have ever known that have shared the same strange attributes that your body seems to have. Though the second explanation also seems more likely, as the amount of magical energy left circulating in your body is still fresh enough to be able to measure precisely. The amount of energy currently circulating your body would have been enough, if used as a form of raw magic, to both heal your wounds and cause the muscles of your body to spasm so intensely that negative repercussions would come from it, such as dislocating most of the bones in your body."
  296. >Once Darius finishes his observation into what is likely happening, he closes his eyes and begins to meditate for real
  297. >"I need to meditate on this. You may go and eat now, your body likely needs nourishment a lot more than you can feel if my initial judgement ends up being correct."
  298. >This entire thing is crazy. You have no idea what you have stumbled upon
  299. >Maybe the phrase "ignorance is bliss" is actually correct, because right now you are more confused about what is up with your body than you have ever been before
  300. >And yes, that includes both the times when you hit puberty and when you found out how to masturbate
  301. >All of this seems more like an adventure that is waiting to happen than anything normal, but then again, with Flizzy not being around for so long and your only source of enjoyment being books for the entire last week, you could use some adventure in your life
  302. >Altruist Hope looks at you for a few seconds, then towards the x-ray pictures, then nods confidently
  303. >"Don't worry Anonymous. I am just as confused as you are, but we will find out what exactly is going on with you. So don't worry."
  304. >He then starts pushing you out of your cell
  305. >"Now go and get something to eat. We have kept you long enough."
  306. "Okay then.."
  307. >Altruist is surprisingly pushy to get you to leave, though you aren't complaining
  308. >While you can't feel your hunger at the moment, you know that your body is crying out for nourishment
  309. >You stretch your legs and crack your back, enjoying all the actions your body once again has the ability to make, due to no longer being injured
  310. >Even though it was only a week, getting full control of your body back feels like a godsend; a present from heaven
  311. >You never really appreciate what you have, and what you don't have to deal with thanks to having it, until you lose it
  312. >God bless the ability to walk
  313. >With a skip in your step, you make your way down to the cafeteria to hopefully see Flizzy; you REALLY want her to see you now
  314. >You don't know why, but today felt like it was going to be one of the best days of your life, you were sure of it
