  71. This is a team I built around mixed Taillow- it's a really fun mon to use, because it lures stuff like Chinchou and Steel-types and really messes them up, plus Boomburst in general is pretty great. I threw Larvesta on there because it's fun and offensive, then I figured I needed hazard control and I thought bird spam would be fun so I threw on a scarfed Vullaby. Then I just slapped on a four attacks Chinchou- I threw Icy Wind over Ice Beam because I thought it would be nice to drop Diglett's speed on the way in- and a Diglett because it pairs great with voltturn, plus I needed Stealth Rock. I finished the team off with a scarfed Reckless Mienfoo because it's just generally a super fun wallbreaker. This is a cute team to play really aggressively with, since it can handle pretty much anything with its speed and power with Diglett trapping anything particularly bothersome.

  137.
  138. This is a team I built around the core of Croagunk, Cottonee, and Tirtouga, if memory serves. The idea was that Croagunk is a good Pawn check, Cottonee checks fighters, and Tirtouga checks birds all while each providing support like Knock Off or Stealth Rock. I threw Porygon on there because it's a fun blanket check right now, followed that up with a Ponyta to soft check most of the meta, and then I realized I wanted another Fletchling check and a Magnemite check, so I decided to give Golett a spin and it's pretty cool. Rock Tomb is fun, and STAB Earthquake gives it EdgeQuake coverage. It has nice coverage with Ice Punch, for stuff like Foongus, and Drain Punch lets it recover some health. This is a solid team, nothing too special and it's not going to be the best team ever, but decent.

  204.
  205. This is another team I'm pretty sure I based off of something in the Good Cores thread, but I'm not sure because it's late and I have better things to do with my time. Anyway, Bulk Up Chespin is a pretty cool dude, and Diglett traps stuff it doesn't like, and Chinchou is a bird check because Chespin lets that stuff in for free. I needed a Pawniard check and I was feeling pretty innovative, so I slapped a Chimchar on there; I figure it's a fun Fire-type that doesn't suck up momentum and doesn't need the hazard support Larvesta does. I put AcroFoo on the team next because it's an okay Fighting check, something I really needed at that point (the team is still weak to fighters- you could probably run Fletchling instead if you wanted a bit better of a check), and then I finished it off with Amaura because I needed Stealth Rock and I wanted a strong offensive presence. This team is pretty fun, but it doesn't deal with fighters, particularly Timburr, very well.

  271. I saw the core of Foongus x Tirtouga x Ponyta and I thought it was pretty cool so I figured I'd build a team around it. I put Timburr on the team because I wanted a win condition and I thought a status absorbed would be fun too. Then I realized I was super weak to Abra and Gastly, so I put a Munchlax on the team (you can change it to Resttalk if you want- it doesn't make a big difference, I just like having Fire Punch). I wanted a solid general Pokemon to round the team out, as well as another Abra check, so I threw on a Calm Mind Slowpoke to pressure the opponent and because it's way more fun than Thunder Wave. This team is pretty fun and solid, Resttalk Munchlax is probably a better option overall but it's not nearly as fun, and Bulk Up Timburr is a pretty cool threat right now (and for as long as I can remember, to be honest. Fun mon).

  336. - Swords Dance
  337.
  338. So I was looking at the Good Cores thread and I saw this and it looked cool so I built a team around it. Zorua is super cool, even though sometimes it's a bit obvious when it's Zorua and when it isn't, it's great at pressuring the opponent and forcing 50/50's. Magnemite is a cool blanket check to stuff like Abra and Fletchling; I gave it Magic Coat to help out the Sticky Web matchup and keep hazards off the field for Larvesta. Larvesta is a much needed Fighting-type check, and it forms a cute little voltturn core with Zorua and Magnemite. I put Staryu on the team to give it some hazard removal and then I figured I needed Stealth Rock so I put a Drilbur on too, which lets me force 50/50's with the opponent not knowing which one is my spinner- it has Swords Dance to help take advantage of this. Pretty fun team I'd say, it has some fun sets like Magic Coat Magnemite and Swords Dance Stealth Rock Drilbur, plus Zorua is always fun and cute so I'd call this team a 7/10, 8/10 with rice.

  404.
  405. I wanted to build around Ponyta and I always loved Toxic Spikes so I added a Koffing and threw Substitute in Ponyta's fourth moveslot over Wild Charge because I figured it'd help me pressure the opponent and rack up some poison damage. Then I added small Pumpkaboo because it still spinblocks but also has the speed to Leech Seed slower threats. I wanted some speed control so I added scarfed Chinchou, which is pretty fun and gives the team some nice offensive presence. I wanted to use Fake Out Mienfoo because it's pretty cancerous most of the time but I thought it could be cool with Toxic Spikes, especially considering that it beats Steel-types. I needed a more solid Fletchling check and I wanted Stealth Rock, so I decided to go with Nosepass because it looked neat and I wanted to try it out. Definitely a cute Pokemon, would use again. The team operates pretty well, and it works fine without Toxic Spikes up, but when you do have Toxic Spikes it really shines with the ways it can exploit residual damage (Fake Out, Substitute, etc.).

  542. Okay, so these teams are sort of clones of each other that operate around the same basic core of Omanyte x Drifloon x Snivy x Fire-type + two fillers. This team features offensive Ponyta instead of Torchic and Vullaby and Pancham instead of Diglett and Gastly, but they operate on roughly the same principles. It has a bit more of a voltturn-y aspect to it than the other, and it doesn't have a trapper, but they're still two sides of the same coin. Fun teams both. Give them a shot.

  610. This is a team I built around Porygon, Spritzee, and Ferroseed (possible with inscribe, I don't remember to be honest). The idea is that Poryspritz and Ferrospritz are both cool cores and if you combine the cores you would be unstoppable. Or something like that. Anyway, I added a Ponyta because it's cute and then a Skrelp because it's cute in an ugly kind of way and then a Mienfoo because it's gay and I was on drugs. Fun team. The first team I built with SubPony. It's pretty cool but not as cool as it is on the other team. Ferroporyspritz is fun as expected.

  677. This is a team I built this summer when I would stay up till like 6 in the morning building shitty teams and nerdladdering with Melonz and Fiend. This is one of the few teams that turned out well, probably because I built it on my own and didn't have their stupid ideas contaminating my craft. They did tell me to use Skrelp or Pancham on Tailwind, though, so props to them (only half-props to Fiend, though, because he always fell asleep in call like a bitch). I decided to be a god and use both because I'm a god. Then I put a Magnemite because I was addicted to it. I added a Cottonee because it's fluffy and so is my dog. I put Archen on as a Fletchling check with lots of offensive presence and because I think its animation is adorable. I threw a Diglett on because I don't know how to play without one.
  678.
  679. I'm sleepy so I'll post the rest later. I love you guys. No homo. Be excellent to each other, etc. etc. etc. Yeah. Night frens!
