Assinéz is a male donkey. His fur is a mix of brown/tan, and has green eyes. Assinéz is a Cardinal of the Asinus Inquisition, a religious group coming from the Donkey homelands. Assinéz's quest is to hunt down pagan witches and try them for their magic use. However, Assinéz himself uses magic and often travels alongside magic users, which he states is "fine because it supports the Asinus cause". Often shouting strange remarks, Assinéz hunts down magic users who do not accept the Asinus Orthodox ways.
