  1. >Day 17 in Equestria
  2. >The birds flying beside you are chirping
  3. >The air smells great up above the clouds
  4. >You feel so amazing as you soar through the air without a care
  5. >Nothing could possibly bring you d--
  6. >"I- - -r. Anon----s h---?"
  7. >The fuck?
  8. >You look around to find the noise, hovering instead of flying
  9. >"I am so--y, b-- he is r---ired at the l--."
  10. >You keep hearing a male voice coming from somewhere around you
  11. >The sky turns to black and you slowly start descending
  12. >"No, there are no exceptions. Please allow me to--..."
  13. >You start falling from the sky at a faster and faster pace, until you are free falling towards the sea below you
  14. >Before you can even start to scream your eyes are flooded with light as you fling yourself up from bed
  15. "I'M AWAKE!"
  16. >You are startled awake by the ending of your good dream turning bad
  17. >As your eyes adjust to the light, you see Flizzy laying to your side, looking up at you, and a familiar pony in a lab coat staring wide-eyed at you
  18. >"Oh. That was quite an entrance mr. Anonymous."
  19. >The lab pony makes a joke and then motions for you to follow him
  20. >"You have overslept and are missing your appointment, please follow me."
  21. >Flizzy glares at him for a second and then looks up to you
  22. >"Sorry Anon, I tried to tell him to bug off, but he wouldn't listen."
  23. >As you stand and stretch, getting your body as awake as you want yourself to be right now, you ask anyone that is listening
  24. "What time is it?"
  25. >"Time for you to be following me to the lab."
  26. >The lab pony laughs again
  27. >You are not sure if he was actually trying to crack a joke or if he was just being insistent, but either way, you didn't find that even close to as humorous as he did
  28. >"It is pretty late, you slept for a long time."
  29. >Flizzy replies with an actual answer, though it is still pretty vague
  30. "Huh.. Why are you still here?"
  31. >Flizzy points to a bowl that must've had soup in it or something
  32. >"I was bored, so I got some chow and came back here to watch you sleep."
  33. >Huh..
  34. "Huh.."
  35. >That's pretty weird..
  36. "That's pretty weird.."
  37. >Flizzy smiles at your response
  38. >"Should I have brought you some too?"
  39. >You pat your stomach
  40. "Damn straight. I'm fuckin' hungry!"
  41. >Flizzy laughs and you laugh along side her
  42. >The lab pony doesn't seem to understand the humor in the playful back and forth
  43. >"Mr. Anonymous, please come. We are behind schedule already."
  44. >You just wave him off
  45. "Yeah yeah, fine."
  46. >Quickly, you crack your neck and spine to finish waking your body up
  47. >The lab pony cringes as he hears the cracks
  48. >"We may need to check that out."
  49. >Flizzy smiles and waves you goodbye
  50. >"I'm gonna get more chow while you starve. Have fun sitting and having doctors to watch your every move for the next few hours."
  51. >You start to walk off with the doctor as you raise your hand in a peace sign for Flizzy
  52. "Yeah yeah. I will see you later, fat ass. Try not to scarf down everything you see."
  53. >After that little bout of playful banter, you are headed off to the lab
  54. >...
  55. >You have been sitting in the chair for at least 30 minutes now, or so it feels like
  56. >Why do doctors always take so damn long?
  57. >They should be ready for you immediately, as they know what time you would be coming in
  58. >You start tapping your feet in rhythm as you continue to wait
  59. >...
  60. >After almost an hour of waiting, the unicorn doctor from yesterday comes in
  61. >"Hello Anonymous. I am glad to see you."
  62. >You give a sarcastic comment back to him
  63. "Yeah. Good to FINALLY see you too."
  64. >The doctor unicorn doesn't seem to let that phase him
  65. >"Yes... So. How are you feeling today? Is the chair any more comfortable?"
  66. >Actually, now that you think of it, the chair has none of the flaws from yesterday
  67. >It is absolutely perfect in every way; you could fall asleep in it
  68. >Guess you didn't really notice as you sat there bored out of your skull
  69. "Yeah, the chair feels good. As for me, I feel as good as yesterday."
  70. >"Good. I am glad."
  71. >The doctor motions towards the glass for someone to come in
  72. >A group of different races of ponies (some unicorns, some pegasus, some earth) come into the room wearing surgical masks and pushing a large cart full of tools you have never seen before
  73. "Uhhh. What is this?"
  74. >Bright Blood starts looking over the unknown tools and says to you
  75. >"Today we are going to have to get a direct look at your internal organs. Do not worry, it will be purely exploratory. We will have a sleep spell on you the entire time, so that you don't feel anything."
  76. >You have never had surgery before, especially when it was not needed
  77. "C-Can I object to this?"
  78. >The doctor looks at you and shakes his head
  79. >"Sadly, this is necessary to make sure we have a proper understanding of all of your anatomy. Without knowing what is inside of you, first-hand, we cannot properly diagnose and heal you if something goes wrong."
  80. >You start shaking your head
  81. "NO WAY! This is lunacy! I don't need surgery. Please just do a normal physical or something."
  82. >The doctor readies some of the tools
  83. >"Do not worry Anonymous, all of the prisoners have gone through this already; some several times. We have magic that can stabilize a patient if the worst case scenario does indeed happen. Our fatality rate of this procedure is 0 out of 4,498. There is absolutely no risk."
  84. >The doctor pulls out a lollipop
  85. >"Please suck on this while we ready the equipment."
  86. >You keep objecting, this time while holding a lollipop
  87. "I REALLY don't want to do this. Please don't do this."
  88. >While you understand that you sound like a child right now, you don't really give a fuck
  89. >Who the hell does exploratory surgery on someone that is not even ill in the slightest?!
  90. >Bright Blood comes over to you, his horn glowing an orange glow
  91. >"Now count down from ten please."
  92. >You try and stand up, but restraints lock in from the chair
  93. >"Please do not struggle Anonymous, this won't hurt at all."
  94. >As you try and move, you find you cannot even budge in the slightest anymore
  95. >The chair is perfectly made for your body, meaning that the restraints are perfectly sized to keep your hands from moving; not too loose, not too tight
  96. >"Now count down from ten."
  97. >You start hyperventilating and just do as the doctor says
  98. "T-Ten... Nine... Eight... Seven... Six... Five..."
  99. >The doctor's horn touches you and your body begins to glow the same orange color
  100. >"You should start to feel calmer now."
  101. >You listen to him and stop hyperventilating
  102. "Four... Three... Two... One..."
  103. >The doctor removes his horn and a bright light comes over your vision
  104. >You are shutting your eyes tight to stop yourself from being blinded
  105. >"Okay, now prep the tools. Celestia wants all of his biology studied and made into several reports by the end of the day."
  106. >You open your eyes and see the ponies in surgery masks scrambling around while getting the tools necessary for surgery all prepared
  107. >Bright Blood is putting on a surgery mask himself
  108. "Uhh... So when is this supposed to kick in?"
  109. >The whole room goes silent as all eyes are directed towards you
  110. >Bright Blood stares at you, completely frozen
  111. "W-What?"
  112. >The whole room crowds around you, leaving you feeling as uncomfortable as that time you wet your pants in 4th grade
  113. >One of the ponies speaks
  114. >"Did you mess up the spell?"
  115. >Bright Blood angrily replies
  116. >"I never mess up any spells! I have been doing this for most of my life!"
  117. >Another one replies
  118. >"Well you must have messed up the spell, otherwise he wouldn't still be awake."
  119. >Bright Blood gets even more angry
  120. >"WELL FINE! If YOU are so sure that I messed up, YOU do the spell!"
  121. >"Uhh.. I am a pegasus."
  122. >"WELL THEN SOMEONE ELSE DO IT! I DON'T CARE!"
  123. >Bright Blood signals for another pony to try the spell
  124. >Another unicorn, this one older than Bright Blood, comes over and does the exact same thing as he did to you
  125. >Your body glows, you get blinded for a second, you close your eyes, then open them again
  126. >The whole room is looking at you in disbelief
  127. "Umm.. Hello?"
  128. >The room immediately goes into an uproar
  129. >"How is this possible?"
  130. >"This doesn't make any sense."
  131. >"Is the spell too weak?"
  132. >Bright Blood denies the accusation the spell being too weak
  133. >"How could this spell be too weak? It was create by Starswirl himself to cause a hypnotic effect on any creature. Theoretically, this spell is strong enough to put to sleep creatures almost three times larger than the largest recorded creature in Equestrian history."
  134. >The room continues to argue back and forth what may have happened
  135. "Umm..."
  136. >One unicorn interjects
  137. >"Well this spell won't work on a few known creatures, such as those that have the ability to absorb magic and those that are unaffected by conventional magic."
  138. >Bright Blood nods
  139. >"I see, so what you are saying is that Anonymous likely is either able to absorb magic or is a draconequus."
  140. >One of the earth ponies come over to you and blatantly asks
  141. >"Are you a draconequus?"
  142. "A whatonawhat?"
  143. >Bright Blood shoves the earth pony aside
  144. >"Well no matter the reason, we still have our orders. Prep for the operation."
  145. >It takes you only a second to understand what he is saying
  146. "WAIT! WHAT?! BUT I'M STILL AWAKE!"
  147. >Some of the ponies in the room are debating in a worried manner whether or not they should abandon their previous orders or not
  148. >"I don't want to operate on something that is still awake."
  149. >"Celestia's orders are final. We can't argue."
  150. >"Can't we report this instead?"
  151. >"No! Now get the tools ready for the professor!"
  152. >Back and forth squabbling goes on in the room until Bright Blood yells
  153. >"ENOUGH! We are doing this whether you all like it or not. My words are final!"
  154. >The room goes silent
  155. >After a moment, the ponies all get back to preparing the operation
  156. "Wait. WAIT. WAIT!!!"
  157. >The room ignores you and finishes getting the tools ready
  158. >Bright Blood holds a scalpel with his magic and apologizes to you
  159. >"I am sorry Anonymous, but you will have to bear with this."
  160. "NO! I DON'T!"
  161. >You try to break free again, but without any even remote success
  162. >Bright Blood lowers the scalpel and you feel a searing pain in your chest
  163. "NO! NO! NO! STOP!"
  164. >The scalpel slowly runs down your chest towards your stomach, meanwhile you are in the most pain you have ever been in
  165. >Your entire abdomen feels as if it was being torn in half, as you feel extremely nauseous due to your internal organs stinging from the exposure to the outside air
  166. >You can't even scream and instead just choke on your own saliva, as you find it much too painful to swallow
  167. >"Prepare the tweezers and mini scalpel, we are going to examine every fiber on him."
  168. >The pain becomes much too unbearable and your nauseousness turns to feeling extremely light headed
  169. >As you see Bright Blood floating the tweezers towards your opened chest, you fall unconscious from shock
  170. >"Oh look! The spell worked!"
  171. >You hear from an extremely stupid sounding pony as you fade from consciousness
  172. >...
  173. >...
  174. >You slowly awake to the sound of carts and ponies rushing around
  175. >"READY THE EMERGENCY TOOLS!"
  176. >While you can slightly feel your torso aching and stinging, you are much too out of it to comprehend anything going on
  177. >"WHY WON'T HE HEAL?! THE MAGIC ISN'T WORKING!"
  178. >Your darkened vision finds its way over to Bright Blood, who is panicking as he is throwing away bloody rags and floating new ones towards you
  179. >"WE HAVE TO CLOSE HIM UP!"
  180. >A unicorn yells at Bright Blood
  181. >Bright Blood just yells back at her
  182. >"WE CAN'T! HIS ORGANS ARE STILL RUPTURED!"
  183. >As you see your doctor on the verge of tears from the stress, you fade from consciousness again
  184. >...
  185. >"Well. It seems that you are in quite a pickle."
  186. >A smooth sounding male voice resonates in your dreams
  187. >"Luckily for you, I just so happened to be strolling past the area."
  188. >You don't know how is speaking, but you very much find his voice to be calming, yet slightly disturbing
  189. >"You know, walking fish is much harder than it used to be. All they do is flop around and complain that they need water."
  190. >Huh?
  191. >"The nerve, right? Even after I had given them the ability to become real flying fish. Some ponies really can't be grateful for anything."
  192. >You try to reply, but you lack the ability to in your unconscious state
  193. >You can only listen
  194. >"Oh Anonymous, you really shouldn't try to speak. Especially not when your lungs are drowning in your own fluids."
  195. >As the male voice announces that, you suddenly start to feel yourself choke and find yourself unable to breathe
  196. >"Oh! Did you not want that? And here I would have guessed you would be a big fan of that sort of thing, what with this being your second time having your lungs become a swimming pool for your heart's children."
  197. >You continue to choke and drown on the fluids filling up your lungs, the pain feeling eerily familiar to you
  198. >Death creeps slowly towards you, but the fear is taken away by the annoying crunching resonating in your ears
  199. >"Mmmm~. This place is the best. I can't believe you get this type of food on a daily basis. I am eating the bone, yet somehow it still retains the same flavor as the meat around it. How do they even make it like this? *crunch* You're a real lucky one aren't you?"
  200. >You gurgle for what seems to be your last time
  201. >"You are not very fun when you are dying. Did you know that? It is like all you know how to do is sound utterly grim."
  202. >As your body resigns itself to death, everything, including time, seems to stop
  203. >Your lungs collapse, your mind goes numb, and you start fading off into a bright light
  204. >"Oh stop being so over dramatic!"
  205. >You feel a sudden impact upon your entire being, as you are suddenly yanked from the light you were traveling into, your lungs taking in a massive, long awaited, breath
  206. >"Seriously Anonymous, we are talking about me. You could try to stop being so selfish and making this about you and your 'dying'. So very rude of you!"
  207. >Your vision slowly grows fuzzy, as light travels into your eyes once again
  208. >"Well that was fun! I would love to continue or maybe go for another ride touring afterlife with you, but it seems that you have an urgent appointment with 'consciousness'. Don't want to keep her waiting."
  209. >The light grows brighter and brighter as you feel yourself being pulled upwards into your own body, as if you have grown into it from being shrunken inside of it
  210. >"Well. Have fun with the after effects of almost dying! Oh, and I kept the blood from your lungs for myself, I hope you don't mind. I've got a pet Mandrake who absolutely loves the stuff."
  211. >The sounds of the voice slowly dissipate, with the last heard sounds being his insane laughing
  212. >For a second time today, you awake by flinging yourself upwards
  213. >But this time, you are strapped down and all that occurs from attempting to throw yourself forward is your body being wrapped in extreme pain
  214. "ARGH!"
  215. >You yell out in pain as the scene around you becomes clear to your now fully awake self
  216. >The room is full of surgeons and doctors, all standing there staring at you in awe
  217. >"H-His body just healed itself on its own!"
  218. >"Was that the magic or is that his own abilities?"
  219. >"I don't want to do this ever again!"
  220. >Some of the ponies are crying and some of them just fall to the floor in relief
  221. >The ponies likely never have had to experience something like this
  222. >As you take a look around the room, you start to feel dizzy once again
  223. >You tilt your head to the side and your insides no longer hurt, just feel extremely sick
  224. >Speaking of feeling sick
  225. "I'm gonna hurl.."
  226. >One of the doctor ponies rushes over to try and undo the straps, but as he attempts it, you just look over to him and vomit on the floor in front of his hoofs
  227. >That doesn't stop the pony from undoing your restraints, just makes him cringe
  228. >As you get yourself free from that chair, you roll over on your side and begin to gasp
  229. "Water... please..."
  230. >The pony who got you free goes and gets you some water
  231. >As you roll on the chair, trying to find a proper balance for your stomach, you see that Bright Blood is nowhere in sight
  232. >He seems to be the only one missing from the original group of doctors
  233. >...
  234. >After a few minutes of collecting yourself after that near-death experience, you pick yourself up off of the chair, your body not longer in pain
  235. >Your body is, however, weak and wobbly, though
  236. >As you stand up, many of the doctors and surgeon ponies come over and start to apologize, many crying
  237. >"I am so sorry! I shouldn't have listened to Bright Blood!"
  238. >"Please forgive me. That was the worst thing I have ever done."
  239. >Back and forth, the ponies all beg for your forgiveness after that hellish experience
  240. >Where is he though?
  241. >That is what you want to know
  242. "W-Where is..."
  243. >You cough as you try and get the words out
  244. >"Where is Bright Blood?"
  245. >All of the ponies look at each other nervously
  246. >The pony that had helped you out of the chair and has brought you water explains what happened after the surgery went wrong
  247. >...
  248. >According to him, Bright Blood ran out of the room and was yelling about how all of the other ponies ruined the operation
  249. >He was apparently screaming about how it was because of their incompetence that you had died, which apparently your heart had completely stopped for almost a full minute
  250. >After he ran off, you started coughing out all of the blood from your lungs, which seemingly vanished after leaving your mouth
  251. >Then your body closed itself up to the point where there was not even a scar
  252. >That is when you woke up, with all of the ponies who witnessed it being left in shock
  253. >So apparently Bright Blood ditched you during your operation
  254. >These ponies were trying desperately to save you from their bad decision while Bright Blood avoided responsibility completely
  255. >One of the ponies angrily says
  256. >"If he wasn't part of the royal family, none of us would even listen to that jerk!"
  257. >He then realizes that he was being no better than Bright Blood by saying that
  258. >"I-I mean... I am sorry. I shouldn't have had a hand in this at all."
  259. >You just get up and start to stretch your body
  260. >You crack your neck and back as you wake it up from its near eternal sleep
  261. >The ponies behind you are either cringing or are still crying from relief of you not dying
  262. >As you are about to leave the room, the pony who had helped you get out of the chair comes over to you and grabs you by the pant leg
  263. >"I know it may take a long time and a lot of trust, but can you ever forgive us. We are so sorry."
  264. >This pony, who has a happy pony face on a heart for a cutie mark, is looking at you with tears in his eyes as if begging to not be hated
  265. >You sit there is silence for a moment, pondering your own feelings, before you tell them to all line up, pick up your fist and slam it down on each one of their heads one by one
  266. >You then smile
  267. "There. That makes us even."
  268. >The ponies all start to cry as you give them a little tough love
  269. >One of them cries out
  270. >"B-But we almost killed you! Why are you not hating us?!"
  271. >Well that is easy
  272. >The countless times you have done something stupid in your life would have made you one of the most unforgivable people in the world if the world worked that way
  273. "You all have done something horrible to me, even though I protested and begged for you not to."
  274. >The ponies start to weep even harder, with some of them constantly repeating that they are sorry
  275. "BUT!"
  276. >You yell this so that they stop apologizing and stay silent
  277. "In the end, it all worked out and you are truly sorry for what you had done. You are owning up to it and taking responsibility for your mistakes. And when all is over and done with, that is all I can ask from any of you. Assigning blame and holding grudges is not productive at all."
  278. >You turn and open the door
  279. "So, take this as a lesson and learn from it."
  280. >You turn back towards the ponies and give a huge grin
  281. >"So where is this doctor Bright Blood? He left without me getting even with him; and I have a lesson to teach him."
  282. >The ponies point towards a map on the wall right outside of the door which has the entire lab layout with labels for each room
  283. "Oh... Well, I am off then."
  284. >You stop after fully leaving the room and poke your head in, pointing at the chair you were restrained to
  285. "Also, get rid of that and get me a normal chair. If I see that chair one more time, I will have to hit all of you again, a lot harder this time."
  286. >With that, you speed off towards the direction of the room that is labeled "Bright Blood's Office"
  287. >You surprisingly feel good as new, now, which is for the best, because you are about to teach that doctor why he doesn't neglect his patients
  288. >You keep running and running, passing all lab ponies in such a hurry that some of them are literally falling over backwards or dropping their stack of papers they were carrying
  289. >You stop for a second as you hear from a ventilation duct above you
  290. >"Keep writing! I have to get this report to Celestia as soon as possible!"
  291. >It is Bright Blood
  292. >"Subject Anonymous died during the investigative surgery after many attempts from Bright Blood to revive him. The other surgeons' and doctors' lack of care and incompetence is what led to the fatality during the procedure, in which afterwords they exited the room and blamed it on 'bad luck'. Bright Blood is requesting the punishment and dismissal of all ponies tasked to assist him on the operation. The only thing able to be discovered before Anonymous passed away was that his lungs, when entering a state of unconsciousness, had the ability to generate and odd form of magic similar to Celestia's that resonated throughout his entire body. Along with that, Anonymous seems to have almost an identical anatomical structure as an ordinary monkey, with slight differences. The autopsy will hopefully bring more useful information."
  293. >You are getting too annoyed listening to his voice
  294. >Once again, you check a map on the wall, to make sure you are in the right area, and start to dash towards Bright Blood's office
  295. >As you reach the end of the hallway, which is a straight away leading to his office, a pony opens his front door
  296. >"Now if you need me, I will be writing their formal resignations. Make sure to get that to a mail pony within the hour, or you are also going to be signing one of these forms."
  297. >It is Bright Blood
  298. >He is looking back towards some other pony you can not currently see
  299. >You begin to dash towards him once again
  300. "BRIGHT BLOOOOOOOOD!"
  301. >You yell out as you run full speed towards him
  302. >"Huh?"
  303. >Bright Blood turns towards you
  304. >A pony between you and Bright Blood drops her books, getting startled by your sudden screaming
  305. >Instead of jumping over the books, you use them as a foothold and jump off of them instead
  306. "LET'S SEE YA' GRIT THOSE TEETH!!"
  307. >As you say that, you land a fist right on the left side of Bright Blood's cheek, using the momentum to cause him to go flying backwards into his desk
  308. >As he slams into the back of his desk in his room, the pink pony inside the room, who was writing the letter, screams and runs out
  309. >"A-ANONYMOUS?!"
  310. >He seems extremely surprised by your sudden appearance
  311. >You slowly start to walk towards him, whose back is still against the desk
  312. >"I-I'm so glad that you're alive! Those stupid assistants of mine are--"
  313. >You slam your fist on the desk above him and yell into his face
  314. "SHUT UP!"
  315. >He complies with haste
  316. "So. What is going to happen now?"
  317. >You are acting as intimidating as you can be
  318. >He is obviously intimidated, but does the normal weasel move of trying to appeal to you
  319. >"Well... *ahem* Now we are going to go back to the prison warden, explain how you hit me after I had saved your life, and the--."
  320. >You kick him in the stomach
  321. "Wrong answer. Now let me ask you again."
  322. >You get down to eye level with him and repeat your question, slower this time
  323. "So. What is going to happen now?"
  324. >Bright Blood gets angry and spits in your face
  325. >"NOW?! NOW WE ARE GOING TO TAKE YOUR MONKEY BUTT AND THROW IT INTO THE LONELIEST CELL IN THE PRISON!"
  326. >You headbutt his snout and he yells in pain
  327. >The impact seems to have hurt his snout enough for him to stop screaming, but instead hold it and go somewhat fetal
  328. "So. What is going to happen now?"
  329. >"Y-You keep assaulting me. Don't you know who I am?! I am the brother of Prince Blueblood and relative of all of the princesses of Equestria. When they find out--"
  330. >You backhand him like the bitch he is
  331. "Since you are having such a difficult time finding out what you are going to be doing next for almost killing me, mistreating your subordinates, and just being a plain rotten scumbag, I will explain it slowly."
  332. >You lift up your fingers to count on them the steps he is going to take after you are done with him
  333. "First, you are going to go downstairs and apologize to your assistants. Second, you are going to forget about writing their resignation letters and instead write your own. Third, and last of all, you are never going to practice medicine or anything of the sort again. Do I make myself clear?"
  334. >Bright Blood just glares angrily at you
  335. >"Do you believe that violence will get me to do anything you say. Hit me all you want, I know that I am the one who holds the most political power in this entire prison system and I am the one who calls the shots around here."
  336. >He continues on after getting into a more comfortable position
  337. >"I could have you killed over and over again, it is not my fault you are some sort of demented monkey creature who doesn't respond to my genius medical magic. It is your own fault for being born the way you are. That is why you are even here, because you are not normal! So give me your best shot, I have withstood more pain from watching my ungrateful little brother get the fame and glory I deserved, I WORKED FOR, than you could ever inflict on me. There is nothing you can do."
  338. >This pony very much annoys you, he is the type who blames everyone else for his misfortunes and treats those less fortunate than him as if they are not important in the slightest
  339. >He is exactly who you promised yourself you would never become
  340. >As you are about to raise your fist to hit the pony again, you hear the door slam behind you
  341. >"There may be nothing he can, but there is something I can do."
  342. >You hold yourself back from hitting the pony and look behind you to see a purple pony with wings and a horn
  343. >Yet again, another out of the ordinary pony
  344. >She is wearing a geeky looking get up, with a lab coat, glasses, and hair in a bun
  345. >"P-Princess Sparkle? It is so good to see you. Please save me from this brutish creature!"
  346. >The 'Princess Sparkle' shakes her head and replies in a calm manner
  347. >"I am afraid the only way to help you is for you to help yourself."
  348. >Bright Blood confusedly asks
  349. >"Pardon me?"
  350. >Princess Sparkle walks over and tells him sternly
  351. >"I have heard all of the conversation, including the one you had with your secretary, before that 'Anonymous' had even attacked you. You had him nearly killed, blamed your staff for your failure, blamed him for being born the way he was, and then attempted to get the ponies who trusted you to be released from their positions of duty."
  352. >He then replies
  353. >"B-But how could you know all of that? Why are you even here in the first place? I heard you and the other Elements of Harmony had arrived at Canterlot yesterday night!"
  354. >She thinks of a little purple and green baby dragon sitting in her place for her on this most recent of adventures
  355. >"I had my most trusted assistant sit in for me."
  356. >She then sighs and looks at Bright Blood pitifully
  357. >"That is why I was even sent here in the first place. You have been getting a lot of complaints from ponies who have been working with you. Celestia entrusted me to make a report on the legitimacy of these complaints. Sadly, I will be reporting back that the allegations about you were correct."
  358. >Bright Blood's face drains of color as she tells him this news
  359. >"I suggest you do as previously suggested by this 'Anonymous' and prepare your letter of resignation. Also, apologizing to those under you is the only other thing that I could put into my report to help your situation."
  360. >Bright Blood completely collapses
  361. >"So it is over then? All of my hard work and studying, my years of dedication. All thrown into the wind, because of one stupid mutant monkey."
  362. >Princess Sparkle replies as kindly as possible
  363. >"If you start over again and learn the value of friendship, cooperation, and listening when a pony has an objection, you will be fine. This is not an end, but a new beginning."
  364. >Bright Blood just gets up and slowly stumbles his way out of the room
  365. >Huh... Wow
  366. >This "Princess Sparkle" just got him to do exactly what you wanted him to do
  367. >Sure you wanted to deck him a few more times for nearly killing you, but it seems that this princess character has it all under control now
  368. "Hey."
  369. >You begin to try and speak to her, when the princess looks at you with eyes full of anger
  370. >"How DARE YOU attack a pony and use such extreme violence?! Such a vicious attack is not acceptable, no matter what the circumstances were!"
  371. >What?
  372. >This turned around against you fast
  373. "But he almost--"
  374. >"It doesn't matter what he almost did or did not do. If I had not intervened, how far would you have taken it? Bright Blood was not going to do as you said, and I was forced to intervene because I saw that you were going to continue to assault him for not listening to you!"
  375. >Princess Sparkle turns and begins to leave the room
  376. >"Because the circumstances for the assault were provoked and, in some pony's eyes somewhere, was justified I will forgive this incident without reporting you to the warden, but I will be writing this in my report and sending it to the princess."
  377. >This pony is legitimately making you angry, but she does have a point
  378. >You didn't really have a plan for if he didn't listen to you
  379. >But still, you shouldn't be getting scolded, it was him after all that had caused all of this
  380. "I--"
  381. >The door slams as Princess Twilight leaves the room, before you can properly make a rebuttal
  382. >As annoyed as you are, you can't help but collapse in exhaustion instead of following her
  383. >That "almost dying" thing really took a toll on you
  384. >You are kinda surprised you hadn't felt it until now
  385. >It must have been the adrenaline that made you feel like you had all of the energy you actually didn't have
  386. >Your innards are crying out for rest, as are your muscles
  387. >Lying on the floor, you hear on the prison intercom system
  388. >"Will the cell partner of the prisoner 'Anonymous' please report to the lab entrance to help escort him back to his cell?"
  389. >A few minutes later, a familiar looking dragon and warden walk into the office
  390. >"A-Anon?! Are you alright?!"
  391. >Flizzy comes over quickly to you in concern
  392. >"You are so pale. What happened?"
  393. >You just smile as you see her, remember that if you had not gotten lucky today, the last thing you may have ever said to Flizzy is how she was a fat ass
  394. >She picks you up the best that she can with her giant claws, gripping on your clothes
  395. >"I was going to get my claws dulled today, but this took priority. Please don't move around too much."
  396. >Even with her being careful, her sharp claws rip up your shirt lightly
  397. >You start coughing as your internal organs continue to scream out for the need of rest
  398. "I'm so glad to see you.."
  399. >You gasp for some air
  400. "Mind being a good friend and helping me back to our cell?"
  401. >Flizzy just nods at you
  402. >"Of course. I don't know what happened, but you will definitely tell me later."
  403. >You laugh and cough as she says that
  404. "Yeah.. Don't worry.. I will.. I just need a little nap first."
  405. >Flizzy just nods gently and helps carry you back slowly to your cell
  406. >The warden stays quiet the entire time, just observing this exchange with her patented big smile
  407. >On the way to the cell, you use what strength you have left to grab onto Flizzy and give her a hug
  408. "Thanks."
  409. >As you hold onto her with the hug, while being carried back to your cell, your need for sleep overtakes you and you pass out in her arms
