>You laid awake deep into the night
>Pinkamena's body heat alleviated some of the soreness in your frame after today's ordeal
>usually you would take comfort in her warmth
>but nothing could get that face out of your mind's eye
>the utterly psychotic eyes bored into your soul
>you sigh deeply for at least the tenth time since Pinkamena had fallen asleep clinging to you
>everything would be okay
>you were still okay
>she was still okay
>you pulled her unconcious form a little bit closer
>Pinkamena had been quite thorough in her disposal of her friend
>she'd kept a few feathers as a memento
>you knew she'd want to try again
>despite your misgivings, you would help her
>you decided to worry about that in the morning however
>for now, you needed to rest
>even if those eyes wouldn't leave you be
>a week as passed since the Fouttershy incident
>several of her old friends have dropped by to ask if she knows anything
>somehow Pinkamena manages to put on her old smile and face and insist she doesn't know anything
>she even went to help look a couple of days
>today, she came home positively beaming
>you wonder what she's so happy about

>it was really nice to see her happy again
"I bet I know which of my old friends would just loooove to come have some fun with us!"
>a slight pang of trepidation hits you
>you shove it aside with a bit of effort
>"Rarity!" she explains gleefully.
>Rarity huh. Now that was an interesting choice.
"Do you want me to go retrieve her?" you ask after some consideration.
>"That's the best part! She's already coming over tomorrow!"

>that would make things a lot easier to be certain
>still, that nagging doubt just wouldn't leave you alone
>Rarity's visit was actually quite pleasant
>the two former friends discussed quite a few things at length
>Pinkamena asked you to go prepare some tea for them after some time

>you nodded wordlessly, slipping off to the kitchen
>you prepare the tea as instructed
>you also drop the sleeping agent into Rarity's portion, as instructed
>the two mares continue to chuckle amongst themselves as they sip their tea
>after a bit, Rarity complains about being suddenly drowsy
>the beginnings of a grin start to tug at your lips
>before long, Rarity collapses onto the table, spilling her tea in the process
>decidedly unladylike
>securing Rarity had been slightly more complicated than Fluttershy
>Pinkamena had produced a special kind of headgear that would supposedly "stop any pesky unicorn magic"
>how she knew this was anyone's guess
> a couple of hours later, your new charge awakened groggily
>"Ooh! You're finally awake!" Pinkamena said, a devious grin on her face
>"Pi-pinkie..." Rarity asked in a slight daze
>blinking a few times, she slowly became more aware
"I must say I love the new manestyle."

>But I must ask dear, what is the meaning of having me bound like this?!"
>"Oh! That's so you don't try to get away of course!" Pinkamena answered cheerfully.
>"Get away?" Rarity asked uncertainly.
"Yeah! We're" gonna have soooooo much fun!"
>Pinkamena slowly crawled atop the white unicorn
>She pulls out her trusty cutting tool
>"Mmm...fun you say..." Rarity aswerd huskily, a glazed look in her eyes
>"You don't have to worry about that..." Pinkamena replied, a similar edge in her voice
>Rarity let out a small moan as the knife cut her slightly and Pinkamena moved to kiss her
>Well, that was certainly an unexpected response
>but not an unwelcome one
