[18:38] <DM-sama> As you push them open you enter the main hall.
[18:38] <DM-sama> It's made from iron, a large forge in the middle of the room.
[18:39] <DM-sama> The pair of upward spiraling stairs is the same as every other tower thusfar.
[18:41] <DM-sama> In the middle of the room a dwarven man drops his hammer and approaches you.

[18:43] <DM-sama> The dwarf seems to notice the injured Jaina.
[18:44] <DM-sama> "Aye.... ah thought I felt the crazy lad's mana goin' haywire." He says as he approaches.
[18:44] <DM-sama> "Ah take it the lass got caught in the fray?"
[18:44] <@Roland> "Yeah, she did, because she tried to help me. Can you help her?"
[18:45] <DM-sama> "Aye, thehealin springs'll have er up in a jiff."
[18:45]  * Daven looks around the insides before finally realizing what has been going on. "Oh uh yes sir, she got hit real bad."
[18:45]  * Zenaros nods, "... that's a way to put it, yes."
[18:45] <DM-sama> The dwarf leans forward prepared to take Jaina onto his back.
[18:45]  * Conny watches  passively from the back of the group
[18:45] <DM-sama> "I'll take the lass to the spring, doncha worry none."

[18:47] <DM-sama> The dwarf doesn't seem phased in the slightest by the extra weight of the girl, steady and solid as stone.

[18:47] <DM-sama> "Ye lads ave a peek around an enjoy me tower." The dwarf says as he heads up the stairs.

[18:48] <DM-sama> Knowing dwarven culture that probably shows how badly Jaina needs healing.
[18:48] <DM-sama> The forge is rather mundane.
[18:48] <DM-sama> Obvious a simple blacksmiths station.
[18:49] <DM-sama> If any magic items were made here it was simply by the skill of the crafter.
[18:49] <DM-sama> It's clearly not meant for the use of students.
[18:49] <DM-sama> That being said there isn't much more to see on the ground floor.

[18:55] <DM-sama> Broken magic weapons and armor, damaged wands and staves, and raw materials from metal and wood to gems and stone.
[18:55] <DM-sama> It's clearly some kind of crafting station.
[18:55] <DM-sama> The young man look up when you enter.
[18:55] <DM-sama> "Oh, hello. You must be the new students." He says with a smile.
[18:56] <DM-sama> The man glances your way over his glasses.
[18:56] <DM-sama> He stand and dusts himself off before offering his hand.
[18:56] <DM-sama> "I'm Clarence. It's nice to meet you all."
[18:57]  * Zenaros peers over his book, "Zenaros. Much the same."

[18:57] <Daven> "Oh I'm Daven....what is this place?"
[18:58]  * Conny silently moves up and shakes the man's hand, but goes back to the back without another word.
[18:58] <DM-sama> "This is the mana forge. Students can come here for a fee and create magic items."
[18:58] <DM-sama> "It's far simplified from the traditonal method but it still costs a significant investment of mana."
[18:59] <DM-sama> "You simply combine the materials in this arcane forge and will the item into existence by reaching in and pulling it from the magical swirl."
[18:59] <DM-sama> "Simple, but as I said it's not something I'd recommend on your first day."
[19:00]  * Daven looks around the arcana forge, he looks to his left and right and nods. "Right...get those then we'll make...right. O-okay I got it, you don't have to be so loud..." He says in a low voice to himself.
[19:00] <DM-sama> "The strain it would place on your immature mana netowrks could be very damaging."
[19:00] <DM-sama> tl;dr it drains XP
[19:01] <DM-sama> So you can't do it yet.
[19:01] <DM-sama> For this reason when you get XP put it under XP change until you have enough to level up.
[19:01] <DM-sama> Then remove the amount it costs you to level from your change and add it to your base.

[19:21] <DM-sama> Working dilligently at a table, contructing a clearly female golem is a young man.

[19:21]  * Daven 's face lights up as he looks at the golems, looking around. He nods to no one in particular as he looks at them. He then turns to looks at the man working on the female golem. "H-Hi! Um...what are you doing?"
[19:22] <DM-sama> The young man visibly jumps and turns quickly.
[19:22] <DM-sama> He fumbles his tools and after a moment of panic stands up straight.
[19:22] <DM-sama> "H-hello! Um..... o-one moment."
[19:23] <DM-sama> He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a stack of small white cards.
[19:23] <DM-sama> After searching throught them frantically for a moment he seems to find what he's looking for.
[19:24] <DM-sama> "Ah... um... n-nice to meet you!" He says frantically as he holds out his hand.
[19:24]  * Zenaros hides behind his book, flipping to another page.
[19:24] <DM-sama> Clarence laughs to himself.
[19:24] <DM-sama> "You'll have to forgive Terrace, he's a bit of an introvert. But he tries." He says out of earshot of the two nervous boys.
[19:25]  * Daven shakes the man's hand. "So what are you doing? Making a...hm? A...companion to keep you in the night?" He says as if repeating someone else's words as he looks slightoy to his right.

[19:25]  * Conny walks up and shakes the man's hand as he did with Clarence and silently stares at him
[19:25] <Rachel> "That's...uncalled for, really."
[19:26] <DM-sama> "N-no! I-I-I-I would never do anything that pathetic!" Terrace says in shock.
[19:26] <DM-sama> So focused on responding is he that he doesn't notice as Conny takes his hand and panics.
[19:26] <DM-sama> He reacts as though he'd been grabbed by a demon and grabs onto the workbench for dear life.
[19:27] <DM-sama> As his overwhelming fear overtakes him he breaks free and dives behind the half complete golem.
[19:27] <DM-sama> ""W-w-w-w-w-w-w-why are there so many people ehre all of a sudden?" he asks from the fetal position behind the table.
[19:28] <DM-sama> "Tehy're the new students taking a tour of the tower." Clarence responds with a smile.
[19:28]  * Zenaros begins writing in his tome, "... timid. I'm Zenaros, and it's as he said."
[19:28] <DM-sama> Terrace pokes his head over the golem.
[19:28]  * Conny simply blinks and looks down at his hand as if studying it.
[19:29] <Daven> "S-sorry! Just that the voices they uh sometimes wanna say things but because most of the time people don't hear them they...um anyway so what is this?"
[19:29] <DM-sama> "I'm Terrace.... nice to meet you all." He says looking down at something in his hands.
[19:29] <DM-sama> "V-voices? Like elemental spirits?"
[19:30] <DM-sama> "I-It's okay..... I can see how it might have looked like that..."
[19:31] <DM-sama> "I'm actually just making a golem for a project, and female golems are easier because they take less material and the lines are smoother...."
[19:32] <Daven> "Um...maybe? Why is..is that bad?" He looks to his left and a blush streaks across his face, he waves his hands at nothing as he goes. "I-I'M SURE HE ISN'T MAKING ONE BECAUSE HE WANTS TO FEEL A WOMAN'S TOUCH!"
[19:33] <DM-sama> "I CERTAINLY AM NOT! I-I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW I'VE BEEN WORKING VERY HARD TO COME UP WITH PICK UP LINES SO I CAN GET A REAL GIRLFRIEND!"
[19:34] <Daven> "Y-YEAH SYL! ...Eh? What he'll practice them on? ...On the golem?"
[19:35]  * Conny who was still looking down at his hand snaps his attention back to the timid man and seemingly marches over to him and extends his hand. All the while staring, unblinking.
[19:35]  * Zenaros strikes out something from his book again, "... either those voices are real, or a ventriloquist is on the floor in tears right now."
[19:35] <DM-sama> "E-eh.... um... s-s-s-sorry." Terrace says as he offers his hand to Conny.
[19:38]  * Conny shakes his hand and says "Conny" before going to the back of the group.
[19:38] <DM-sama> "Perhaps we should move on and leave Terrace to his work before we give him a heart attack." Clarence suggests.
[19:39] <Zenaros> "... a sound plan."
[19:39] <Daven> "B-but how do you make golems?"
[19:40] <DM-sama> "I-I-I-I-I-I-I... c-can teach you some other time... when yyou're not busy." Terrace suggests nervously.
[19:41] <Daven> "Please do-No I won't try foundle them!" He says to his right.
[19:42]  * Conny moves to continue on with or without the group
[19:42] <DM-sama> Clarence leads your group out of the room as Terrace flails his arms denying any sort of sexual attraction to golems.
[19:43] <DM-sama> If the recurring pattern of three facilities in each tower continues the next floor should be the healing spring.
[19:44] <DM-sama> Just outside the door you see the dwarf.
[19:44] <DM-sama> "Ah, took ye lads long enuff." he says with a smile.

[20:18] <DM-sama> "Jaina, dear, you should return to your room and rest. I'll send for you when the time comes."
[20:18] <DM-sama> The old man places a hand on Jaina's head.
[20:20] <DM-sama> "Yes... thank you headmaster." She says with a hint of guilt in her expression.
[20:20] <DM-sama> The dwarven instructor heads up the stairs to his room.
[20:21] <DM-sama> "Jaina... I don't mean to sound forward but would you like me to walk you to your room?" Clarence asks cautiously.
[20:21] <DM-sama> "No, thank you but I'll be fine." She says as she walks slowly down the hall.
[20:21] <DM-sama> The headmaster pulls his hat over his eyes and follows her.
