  1. >Marco heard the screech of tires and horn blare from his bedroom while finishing up his homework on a stormy night
  2. >What he didn't expect to hear was a loud thud or the annoyed yelping afterwards
  3. >Opening his window to check for the source of the sounds, he spotted a humanoid shape slowly limping away from what he guessed was the scene of a hit and run
  4. >Not one to leave someone in distress, Marco grabbed his first aid kit and two ponchos and headed out into the rain
  5. >Hollering at the shape to see if they needed medical aid, he quickly recognized the gait and the clothing as belonging to Janna, one of his classmates
  6. >He quickly threw her a poncho to keep the worst of the storm off her and asked if she would mind if he carried her back to his house to call for an ambulance
  7. >She declined the ambulance, but was up for some medical treatment at his hands
  8. >"I think I'm mostly just bruised, my backpack looks to have taken the most damage" -Janna said, showing her now ruined backpack to Marco
  9. >"As long as you aren't in need of serious care, I think I can treat you at home well enough" -Marco said as he picked her up in his arms and headed back toward his house
  10. >The trip back was quick and fairly uneventful, except for Janna hissing slightly if he moved her too much, or when she started hugging his neck so tightly he had to ask her to stop, or else he might pass out from lack of oxygen
  11. >Once inside, Marco swiftly took her to bathroom and laid her down on the soft carpet while he started tending to her bruised and now starting to look swollen knee and bottom leg
  12. >As he worked, he started asking her questions to distract her from the pain
  13. >"Did you see who hit you? Get a license plate or anything like that?" -Marco asked as he started disinfecting her wounds, trying to get her mind on something other than the pain
  14.
  15. >"I-I didn't, they came up behind me. By the time I realized I'd even been hit, the car was g-gone" -Janna said, distracted by both the pain and her close proximity to Marco, not to mention the fact that he was paying much more attention to her than he usually would
  16. >Marco was too far in the zone, tending to Janna's wounds, to notice her blushing face
  17. >But he did note her steadily increasing heart rate and heavier breathing
  18. >"Janna, you don't have a cold or anything do you? Being out in the rain couldn't be good for your health, you might be coming down with something..." -Marco said as he put his hand on her forehead to check for excessive heat
  19. >This just made Janna blush even harder, if that was possible
  20. >"No, I'm n-not sick or anything, r-really. Please just focus on my leg, if y-you would." -Janna stammered out as she hid her head with the hood of her poncho
  21. >Marco finished up his work, bandaging up her leg and giving her some medicine to help with the swelling and pain, telling her to take one every five to six hours if possible
  22. >Janna nodded, then asked if she could stay over for the night, as it was the weekend and they didn't have classes tomorrow, plus she didn't want to move her leg too much in it's current state
  23. >Marco agreed, but only for one night, as his parents were out for a few days for a romantic getaway cruise that they had won a week ago and Star was visiting some friends in another dimension
  24. >Janna already knew this of course, as she had been keeping tabs on the residents of the Diaz household for some time, and knew that the best time to "checkup" on Marco was when he was home alone
  25. >The plan had sort of backfired, as after she had left his windowsill to go home for the night she'd been hit by that car, but the aftermath had worked in her favor, apart from the injury that is
  26. >This was the closest she'd ever been to Marco since they were kids, playing on the school's playground
  27. >Well, closest she'd been when he was awake, that was
  28.
  29. >Details details
  30. >Needless to say, she was pretty ecstatic that he was willing to let her stay the night with him, all alone, with no parents or Star in the house
  31. >Marco got Janna up and steady, then helped her to the living room, asking if she was hungry and if she wanted to watch some TV while he finished his homework
  32. >She quickly agreed, telling him that she hadn't had dinner yet and sat down gratefully to channel surf while he reheated some dinner he'd had earlier
  33. >After making sure she was good and set, he walked back up to his room to finish his homework
  34. >After she'd eaten and grew bored of the TV, she huddled up to Marco's room where he was just finishing the last of his homework
  35. >"Hey Marco, I'm getting tired, can I crash on your bed?" -Janna asked as she proceeded to pounce on his bed, not really giving him an option
  36. >"Uh, I guess...I was gonna let you sleep in the guest room, but if you really want to sleep on my bed that's fine, I can use the guest bed or the couch instead..." -Marco said as he stretched and started walking out of the room to give Janna some privacy
  37. >"You can use some of Star's night clothing if you want, she has plenty that she's never used as far as I can tell. Give me a minute and I'll hand you some." -Marco said as he walked into Star's empty bedroom
  38. >Oh man, this is going swimmingly, except that Marco isn't going to sleep in his bed if I'm in it...think Janna think...-Janna thought to herself
  39. >As Janna schemed, Marco had collected some night things for Janna and tossed them to her, then he collected his pajamas and was starting to make his way to the guest bedroom, when Janna asked him an odd question
  40. >"Before you go Marco, one last thing? You don't happen to have a big teddy bear or anything lying around? I...I need one to sleep." -Janna said as she tried her best impression of Star's sad face that seemed to always work on Marco
  41. >This request slightly confused Marco, but also made him chuckle
  42.
  43. >"You need a stuffed animal to sleep soundly? I didn't expect that of you Janna, and sadly we don't have anything that might meet your request. We've got a old nightlight that never got used if it'll help though..."- Marco said, trying not to laugh but sympathizing with her as well.
  44. >He'd needed a nightlight to sleep until he was around ten or eleven, a fact he planned to take to his grave
  45. >"Oh that's too bad...p-perhaps you could be my teddy b-bear, just for tonight?" -Janna said as she hid her face with his pillow as she started blushing again
  46. >Marco blanched, unsure if he'd heard her correctly. Was Janna...flirting with him? Asking him to bed?
  47. >Of the unexpected things that had happened so far this night, this one was the most surprising to him.
  48. >"Please...Marco, d-don't make me ask again, I promise it won't get w-weird or anything." -Janna pleaded, hoping against hope that her last ditch effort wouldn't be in vain.
  49. >"I-uh, that is...if it'll help you sleep, and it doesn't get...odd, then I guess it's ok..." -Marco said as he tried to weight the pros and cons of sleeping in the same bed as Janna, even if their clothing stayed on
  50. >Being somewhat tired himself, and convinced that if Janna tried to blackmail him about it later, he had some insurance just in case...Marco agreed
  51. >He left the room to allow Janna to change, and he headed out to the bathroom to change as well
  52. >After a few minutes of getting ready, Marco slunk back into his room, as Janna was slipping under the covers
  53. >Both teens looked at each other nervously for a few seconds, then Marco turned off the lights and slipped under the covers as well, on the opposite side of Janna
  54. >As per their agreement, Marco scooted closer to Janna with his back toward her, as her injured leg limited her mobility somewhat, and he may have had an erection as well
  55.
  56. >Once they got close enough, Janna slowly draped her arm over Marco's side and cuddled him, like the hypothetical teddy bear that she didn't actually have at home
  57. >"Are...are you good Janna? How's your l-leg feel?" -Marco whispered as he tried to not think about the fact that he could feel her small, but perky breasts poking his back, or that one of her legs was wrapped around his own
  58. >"My leg feels great, along with other...parts, thanks for...for asking Marco. You make a great teddy...bear..." -Janna said as she yawned and, smiling, quickly fell asleep clutching Marco to herself
  59. >Marco lay there for a time, finding himself enjoying the comfort of Janna's touch far more than he thought he would
  60. >She's so warm...do I smell honeysuckle? I never noticed that Janna smelled good...when did this happen? I...guess this isn't so bad...-Marco thought as he fell asleep, holding Janna's hand in his own
