  4. You must have the most CURRENT version of Project M to participate.
  5. Timer is set to 8 min
  6. Giga Bowser is banned unless both players agree to it.
  7. Items will be set to OFF and NONE.
  8. Double elimination. If you lose a set, you will be sent to loser’s bracket.
  9. Sets will be best of 3. Finals [Loser’s, Winner’s, Grand Finals] will be best of 5.
  10. “Dave’s Stupid Rule” is in effect. You cannot counter pick a stage you already won on in the set unless your opponent agrees to it.
  11. A player gets 3 stage bans from the neutral and CP list combined.
  12. There is a ledge grab limit of 35. If the match times out, the person who went over the limit loses the match. If both players violate this limit, the results screen determines the winner as normal.
  13. If there is a time out, the winner is decided by stocks and then percentage. If by some miracle both stocks and percentage are identical, the match should be replayed in full. Sudden Death is not to be played, and will not count.
  14. All players are encouraged to conduct a trial run of their online connection before their set.
  15. In the event of unplayable lag or excessive desyncs, the winner will be decided based on their performance in the tournament [how many matches they’ve won or lost].
  16. If your opponent is absent, a timer will be implemented. After 5 min, the absent opponent will have lost match 1. After an additional 5 min [totalling 10 min] match 2 is lost, so on and so forth until the set is over.
  17. If a match is unplayable and neither you or your opponent have won a match a connection test will be conducted. The person causing the lag will have 5 min to fix their connection or face disqualification from the entire tournament and future events if the problem persists.
  18. Players are to make sure they have all programs that use excessive bandwidth off. ie Netflix, Youtube, Twitch etc..
