Royal Journal Chapter Four

    >A low beep rings in your ears, consistently beating.
    >You realize that your hearing is the only sense you have.
    >Opening your eyes you realize that you are in the hospital.
    >Seeing Cadence at the seat at your side makes your heart skip a beat.
    >Quite shocking until you hear her snore.
    >Calming your nerves a bit, bit still, you want little to do with that bitch.
    >A doctor pony comes in and tries not to wake the princess.
    >"Well Anon you've suffered really deep cuts there, tore a bit of muscle, and got a pretty bad knock on the noggin. Despite how brutal it was, you have no permanent injuries, you humans are tougher than you look."
    "Well thank you doc. but, what happened exactly?"
    >"Well maybe that bump did more than expected. You got attacked by a manticore who flew straight into the window and tried to breed with you. If it wasn't for mating season you'd be dead."
    >Goddamn it.
    >"You've probably got some catching up to do, I'll leave you two alone now."
    >He walks out leaving you with the sleeping demon.
    >About two minutes later a nurse slams in and rushes a food tray to you.
    >The act was so loud it made you cringe from knowing who it could wake.
    >The nurse is a gray stallion with little care for common decency.
    >"Here's your meal sir, enjoy."
    >All hope is lost when you see that Cadence waking up.
    >The nurse slams the door closed and you lose all hope of keeping her asleep.
    >"Eh, what, Anon? Are you awake?"
    >You're beginning to wish the injuries where fatal.
    >She walks closer and puts her hooves on the bed.
    >"Oh Anon! I'm so glad you're okay."
    "I sorta am to."
    >It takes very little to lie when it could mean opening your secret to her.
    >"Anon, what were you doing fighting a manticore in my bedroom?"
    >Shit, gotta think of a good lie.
    "I heard a loud noise coming from your room. I was worried that if it was a manticore, I would have gotten the general in trouble if anyone knew, so I went in after it."
    >"Oh Anon, always such a muscle head."


>It's getting pretty hard to look her in the eye right about now.
>"Oh, Anon, you must be hungry!"
"Yes, as a matter of fact I am."
>"Here, let me feed you."
>Please let this all be a dream.
>She begins getting a spoonful of peas with magic and puts it to your face.
>"Here, open wide."
>You open while internaly screaming.
>She places the spoon carfuly in your mouth.
>"Teehee, Anon, you're like a baby!"
>You know what? Let this be hell. At least you know who to blame for the tourture you're receiving.
>After ten good minutes she's done.
>Her touch only made the food all the more disgusting.
>The door begins to creep open and you see a relieving face.
>Shining Armor comes walking in.
>He sees you and gives a charming smile.
>"Hey bro, heard you almost fucked by a manticore."
"Yup, got a few gashes to remember her by."
>"Was she hot?"
"Haha, fuck you man."
>"Woah, no number and not hot? Seriously beta move bro."
"Hahahaha, man shut up, your killing me over here."
>Man, already your bro is brightening your day.
>He walked up to his bitch and gave her a kiss.
>"Man Cadence was worried. She's been here all night because she didn't want you to wake up alone. Thanks babe you're one in a million."
>The thought of her watching you sleep makes your skin crawl.
>"Well, glad that you're okay bro. What did the doctor say?"
"Deep gashes, nothing permanent."
>"Good now you don't have an excuse to not bring me a beer."
>You start laughing again.
"Like I need an excuse."
>Just then, the doctor comes in.
>"Hello Shining, Cadence, Anon, I hope you're all having a fine morning. Anon, you seem to be a-okay as far as the x-rays can tell. Looks like you can leave about now."
>Cadence finally speaks up.
>"Anything to worry about?"
>"He'll be weak, and in pain. Nothing he can't tough out with a few pills."
"Well that good to hear."
>Apparently Cadence looks like she doesn't agree.
>Maybe she wanted to play nurse.
>After an hour you get out and taken to the Castle to sleep
