Keltie - SoulSilver / Black - 16 / 18 - f
- from Johto
- related to the Kimono Girls
- first pokemon is shiny Smeargle (Rossieu)
- starters are Cyndaquil (Apollo) in Johto and Oshawott (Simon) in Unova
- from Johto; her father is a breeder and her mother is related to the Kimono Girls (a former dancer herself); initially raised in Goldenrod, but moved to Ecruteak when she was three; was initially raised as a dancer but hated it; often ditched practice to go explore the Ruins of Alph, where she eventually befriended a young off-colored Smeargle that eventually became her first Pokemon as well as Morty and Eusine; Morty was the one who gave her the Ultra Ball that she used to capture that Smeargle (which she named Rossieu)
- eventually says "fuck it" to the idea of becoming a Kimono Girl and takes the Johto gym challenge at 16 (her mother isn't thrilled) and travels to Unova when she's 18 for a change of pace (her mother is even LESS thrilled)
- ultimate goal is to become a pokemon anthropologist, particularly fascinated with ancient pokemon/human relations
- close friends with Eusine and Morty

Logan - Black 2 - 19 - f
- from Unova
- starter is Oshawott (Driftmier)
- typical teenager who wanted to make a name for herself; however, people kept comparing her to a teenager who'd taken the gym challenge prior and she HATED it
- super aggressive, very sarcastic
- because her starter is a pacifist, her battle partner is her Lucario (Skywalker)
- wants to be a pro Launcher Battler
- is going to fucking fight Keltie for stealing her thunder pre-emptively
- crush on Yancy

Roderick - White - 17 - m
- from Unova
- starter is Tepig (Oskar)
- actually descended from the Twin Kings; Zekrom's chosen champion (it runs in his family, his father was the previous chosen champion)
- related to N as a result
- crush on Cheren (it's. weird.)
- there's a lot of nuzlocke plot here)

- Riley's cousin; admires Keltie and wants to study under her (fascinated with pokemon anthropology and human/pokemon relations)

Riley - Alpha Sapphire - 21 - f
- from Johto
- related to the Kimono Girls
- starter is Mudkip (Patrick)
- a more distant relatives to the Kimono Girls, but was close enough to be given the customary Eevee as a starter; actually travelled to Hoenn when she was 14, took the Hoenn gym challenge as her first league challenge, but was eventually derailed by Archie and convinced to join Team Aqua (because he's STUNNINGLY charismatic); when she was 19, she went back home for a stint to get some fresh air and a change of pace; decided to come back to Hoenn for a fresh start when she's 21 and "what the fuck happened here", is really startled by how Team Aqua's considered an extremist group and then realizes "oh. Archie's trying to flood the region. oh. maybe that's not good."; still respects the FUCK out of him but she can't just stand by idily and let that happen

Charlotte - Omega Ruby - 16 - f

- starter is shiny Torchic (Ellis)
- a literal fucking magical girl, man

- from driftveil, comes to Hoenn to stay with her aunt and uncle (Norman and his wife, May's parents)

- massive fucking crush on Lillie

Reed - Sun - 17 - m
- from Kalos
- starter is Rowlet (Ashura)
- in Alola on a study abroad, lives in student housing
- ultimate goal is to be a journalist; came to Alola to buff his portfolio with pieces on "new", rare Pokemon and the customs of a different region
- comically smitten with Gladion, but has whispered "oh fuck he's hot" about half the guys in Alola

Milo - no game file - 22 - nb
- from Unova
- graduate student working under Professor Juniper, doing research in regional differences (working to figure out where pokemon first came from, what pokemon were ecological transplants, etc)
- accidentally joins team skull because they saw everyone getting their tanktops at a hot topic and were like "shit that's totally my style" and somehow got roped into going to a meeting and now they joined a gang??? what
- the only pokemon they brought with them was their banette
- the only pokemon they actually STOLE was wobbuffet and that's because they rescued it from a shitty trainer who didn't know how to use it
- super chill, rarely has any extreme emotion
- takes in misfit pokemon because they're kind of a misfit themself, so they're like "shit yeah join our fam you can be one of us"
