Anthony is a combination of "ant" and "honey", "antho" also means "flower".
Hector is a pun reminding of "nectar".
Both names are also assonant with the term "entomon" that means "insect".

This new Bug type Floaroma Gym is located in the north of Floaroma Town, with Floaroma Meadow as the background.
Anthony and his father Hector are the owners of the Floaroma Honey Farm which sells Honey and offers its help in protecting Floaroma's environment.
The gym building is connected with the Floaroma Honey Farm Shop, there are wooden beehives, flower pots and a bunch of tall trees growing next to the structure and creating a cozy shadow.
Inside the gym you will find a big wall with a honeycomb pattern and dark yellow tinted glass windows, there is a lift like transparent balcon structure in the middle that can move up and down and has a Floaroma Meadow panoramic view function.
The rest of the gym area has a path that lets you visit several habitats featuring rocks, plants, bushes, tree trunks, tall grass and mushrooms like in a safari, you will find camouflaged trainers challenging you.
At the end of the path you will reach a specific spot where you will stand, the gym leader will descend on the transparent lift and will invite you to join him, the lift goes up to the panoramic terrace floor with a look at the meadows and battlefield deligned by flowers pots, grass, pretty tables and furnitures and other wooden beehives around.
After winning the Honey Badge / Honeycomb Badge you will also receive x20 Honey as gift.
After defeating the League you will activate a weekly event, if you visit the Floaroma Town gym on Mondays during the morning time, the gym leader will tell you that there is a rare pattern Vivillon swarming in the Floaroma Windows.
This event will randomly generate a special Vivillon pattern with a 50% chance of having its Hidden Ability.
If you do also happen to have talked to at least 30 people in the Sinnoh Underground, you can then visit the gym leader anytime so that he can tell you about a specific Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon flying around the Floaroma Meadow area.
If you show a Shaymin to the gym leader at anytime he will then tell you about a Fancy Patten Vivillon flying around the Floaroma Meadow area.
