Special containment procedures: SCP-??? is to be contained in a windowless cell.  The cell will be maintained by Class D personnel diagnosed with dissocial personality disorder. Class D personnel assigned to the containment of SCP-??? must never develop emotions with other human beings.

Description: SCP-??? appears to be a human corpse.  However, should a living human come within 20 meters (66 feet) of it and be looking away from SCP-???, it will transform into another human being--namely someone that the intruding person harbors strong emotional feelings for.  If the intruder bears no compassion for other human life, SCP-??? will remain as a corpse until a human with such compassion comes within 20 meters.

SCP-??? takes on the personality, memories and appearance of the human in question.  Upon seeing other human life, it will strike up a casual conversation with said human(s), behaving like whomever it is impersonating, and then shortly thereafter kill said human(s) in the most torturous and painful ways possible with whatever means are available at the time.  If SCP-??? cannot find a weapon with which to torture and kill its target(s), it will attempt to strangle its target(s) instead.

It will pause its homicidal rampage on one condition: it is introduced to the aforementioned person who came within 20 meters of it while it was still in corpse form. The person that may cause this can be a parent, significant other, spouse, close friend, or other person that deeply cares for whom SCP-??? is impersonating.  At this point, SCP-??? will completely pause and be unable to move.

SCP-??? lacks any superhuman physical strength, and takes damage like a normal human being would.  However, when it is injured, the person that SCP-??? is impersonating will also receive the injuries and pain inflicted upon SCP-???.

As a result, terminating SCP-??? will also terminate whoever it is impersonating.  ��� individuals have committed suicide after any of SCP-???'s "deaths."

After its "death," SCP-??? will maintain its current form, albeit dead, for ten (10) minutes.  After that time, it will once again transform when a human with compassion for human life comes within 20 meters.
