  87. Your character has a set of gloves she wears that give her the ability to pull and push
  88. items, enemies and yourself. If you have played Half Life 2 and used the gravity gun you
  89. will immediately recognize both the physics aspect and controls and if you have
  90. ever played a game with a grappling hook you're going to get the idea pretty quick.
  91.  
  92. These gloves have a power level which needs to recharge and is indicated by the red
  93. and blue bars either side of your aiming recital.
  94.  
  95. Left Glove (Red)
  96. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  97.  
  98. This is your grabbing glove, it's for pulling objects to you or pulling yourself to
  99. an item/surface.
  100.  
  101. When clicking an object you will pick it up and it will float in front of your glove
  102. and if clicked a second time the item will drop with relative precision, depending on where
  103. you drop it and at what angle it may or may not end up where you want. This can be
  104. very frustrating as some puzzles will require you to stack objects in order to achieve
  105. an objective and it can feel like the physics is working against you.
  106.  
  107. Upon building up your rage about how broken the physics seem to be you can charge the glove
  108. by holding the left mouse button, the longer you hold the mouse button the stronger the pulling
  109. force will be when released. If you are targeting an object you can expect it to come hurtling
  110. towards you and into your control, if you are targeting a surface (wall, ceiling, floor, etc)
  111. you will be pulled towards your target. This acts like your common grappling hook and you will
  112. find yourself using it freely and being forced to use it by the game to jump small spaces that
  113. a five year old could clearly cross without magic gloves.
  114.  
  115. While you are not able to kill yourself by face planting into a wall at 60Kmph or by pulling
  116. a stack of large crates onto your head you can still accidentally pull enemies or things that are
  117. on fire directly towards you.
  118.  
  119. Right Glove (Blue)
  120. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  121.  
  122. This is your force push(tm)...I mean pushing glove for lack of a better word, as simple as it sounds
  123. you just use them to push enemies or objects.
  124.  
  125. When holding an object picked up with left click your glove can be charged to propel the object
  126. , the longer you hold down the button the more power it's gives.
  127.  
  128. The other use of the right glove is as a way to avoid fall damage by charging the glove before jumping
  129. and releasing the charge before impacting the ground.
  130.  
  131. Both Gloves (Overcharge)
  132. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  133.  
  134. Hour 10 sees you get a rarely used ability called Overcharge, using a part of the wall that is sparking
  135. gives you a small green semi circle inside your red and blue bars which lets you charge both gloves at
  136. the same time. When released this fires a ball of white energy that damages enemies, you only get one
  137. charge per use and it can't destroy a tracer in one hit so it's only use is clearing a few turrets
  138. in hour 10 and knocking out tracers in the final battle.

  160. 5.a Hour 1: Blackout
  161. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  162.  
  163. After watching the introduction movie (or skipping it with escape) head straight down the hall and crouch
  164. under the pipes and jump up from the broken floor. Head around the corner to the barrels and pick one up,
  165. charge your throw and when it prompts you throw it to the end of the room. Head towards the other end of the
  166. room and when the game stops you force pull a barrel towards you.
  167.  
  168. With the tutorial done head left at the end of the corridor and click the bottom to open the blast door. Head
  169. down the corridor and head right to pick up the key card, click the door to automatically use the key card.
  170.  
  171. In the next room you will need to use your glove to pull yourself over the gap or bounce off the floor,
  172. since your probably still getting used to the gloves I'd suggest you pull yourself over the gap by targeting
  173. the red circle on the other side of the gap.
  174.  
  175. Once over the gap head down the corridor until you hit a dead up, look up and you will see a doorway above you.
  176. Target the top of the doorway and pull yourself up to the next floor, if you have any trouble then simply
  177. pull yourself up to the ledge above you and then into the doorway.
  178.  
  179. In the next room you will need to use the right glove to cushion your fall, charge your glove and jump off
  180. the ledge while remembering to be looking directly downwards. When you're about to pancake release the glove
  181. and hopefully not die.
  182.  
  183. Process down the corridor to the door, grab the nearby barrel and throw it at the switch directly above you to
  184. open the door, head into the elevator and out the opposite door after Oscar opens it. Looks like we need some
  185. fuses!
  186.  
  187. Head left and into the next room, use easy fall to not die and grab both fuses on the floor, target the wall
  188. next to the broken platform and pull yourself up. Walk around to the small platform facing the entrance of the
  189. room and target the shadow above the fluro lights, use all your charge to pull yourself onto them. From there pull
  190. yourself across onto the platform and go plug in those fuses. If you keep dieing then throw a box up onto the small
  191. platform, jump on top and just simply pull yourself across to the other side without using the fluro's. Head into the
  192. elevator to end the level.
  193.  
  194. 5.b Hour 2: Generator
  195. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  196.  
  197. Leave the elevator and head right around the back of the elevator and down the corridor and left at the end, charge
  198. your right glove and jump down to the level below while remembering to use easy fall to avoid dieing.
  199.  
  200. When you get to the elevator use your left glove to pull yourself on top, jump down the shaft and use easy fall to
  201. avoid having to reload from the checkpoint, if you land in the bottom of the elevator shaft simply pull yourself up.
  202.  
  203. Grab a barrel and place it against the wall under the red button at the end of the room and jump on top, hit the switch
  204. to open the door above and pull yourself up and head through to the other room. The door is on a timer so you only have
  205. one chance to do this before the door closes again. Alternatively you can pull yourself up onto the lower piping and
  206. then make a run for the door, I haven't tried this but I'm guessing it's what you're supposed to do.
  207.  
  208. In the next room push a box down onto the floor below and easy fall down, grab a box and throw it against the window.
  209. Grab the key card on the floor and throw the box you pushed down at the window, 2 hits at full force should be
  210. enough to break the window. I would suggest breaking the left window for reasons which will become apparent in a minute.
  211.  
  212. Head into the opposite room using the key card and grab the nearby barrel, stack it on top of the barrel already
  213. blocking some of the laser beams. Grab a barrel and head around the pillar and look up to see a button and lots of
  214. gas cylinders, active the button with the barrel and grab a cylinder. Head back to the room where you smashed the
  215. window and light up the cylinder by putting either end up to the fire. You now have about 40 seconds to walk with it
  216. into the room you just came from and either throw ir at the partly broken door or just place it down. When you have
  217. destroyed the door head into the next room.
  218.  
  219. In the next room walk up the platform, jump over the laser and at the top use the switches on both sides to disable the lasers.
  220. Jump down to roof the lasers were protecting, you don't have to easy fall as you won't die. Jump down into the small room
  221. and click the laptop stuck to the wall to restart the generator.
  222.  
  223. Head back to the elevator and you will be ambushed by a security drone, at this point you can either use your push to keep it
  224. at a distance while you hit the elevator button and wait for it to be called or you can destroy it with the laser fence.
  225.  
  226. If you want to destroy the drone head back to the laser fence when it appears and grab a barrel, push the barrels out of
  227. the way and wait for it to foolishly fly through it. If it doesn't explode throw the barrel at it full force and it should
  228. be enough to kill it.
  229.  
  230. Once the elevator has been called jump in and hit the button again to ride it back to the floor above, once you come to the
  231. dead end room pull yourself onto the pipes and then through the doorway. Head back the way you came to the elevator to end the
  232. level.
  233.  
  234. 5.c Hour 3: Water Pumps
  235. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  236.  
  237. Come out the elevator and use throw the box at the floor grate to break it, if you're having trouble breaking it you can aim the
  238. box directly down and the force will be aimed directly down.
  239.  
  240. Easy fall into the room below and click the button on the floor to open the grate into the tunnel, fall into the tunnel and pull
  241. yourself up into the adjacent room.
  242.  
  243. Go to the wall with the button and jump to click it, grab a gas cylinder and throw it through the door open in the wall.
  244. Pull yourself through the doorway as well to get back into the previous room. Grab the gas cylinder and light it using the burst
  245. pipe on the wall, you will have to jump to get high enough. If you have problems trying to destroy the door once you have placed
  246. the cylinder then use your glove to keep it pushed against the door.
  247.  
  248. Before heading through the door grab the box, use it to destroy the grate and then jump onto it and crawl into the next room.
  249. Use easy fall and the series of pipes to make your way down or just simply fall into the water which will cushion your fall, be
  250. aware that when in water you cannot use your gloves so you will have to walk up the platform and out of the water. In the next
  251. few sections you will be navigating water so keep that in mind, if you find yourself almost out of air you can jump to try
  252. keep your head above water.
  253.  
  254. In the next room hit the door switch, the laptop switch and the one under water to the right will not work due to the water level.
  255. Head left across the flooded section and through the next door, this room has 4 platform and each has a corrosponding set of buttons
  256. (up and down). Bring the platform on the far right down first until it is slightly above water, for the 3 other closer platforms
  257. bring them down just below the water. This will keep you below the lasers until you're ready to jump onto the last platform,
  258. if you find they aren't low enough and that you're about to get lasered then jump down into the water and re-adjust the platforms.
  259. Pick up the key card and head back across the platforms and pull yourself over the flooded corridor.
  260.  
  261. Use the key card to open the door and pull yourself to the platform at the top of the room by using the various sets of pipes in the
  262. room, hit the switch and enter the next room.
  263.  
  264. Easy fall directly downwards and head under water on the left side, if you find yourself drowning then jump to surface and get some air.
  265. Once on the other side pull yourself up and into the next room while navigating the pipe. You should now be able to see the
  266. inside of the first of the massive pipes, pull yourself across the water and into the pipe. Grab the fuse and head to the end of the
  267. pipe and pull yourself up to the floor above, and head into the pipe. Grab the next fuse at the end of the pipe and head into the 3rd
  268. pipe, head to the end of this pipe and drop down into the next room. Mid way through thr 4th pipe you will be chased by another security
  269. drone so grab a barrel and hit it to temporarily disable it, head to the end of the pipe and grab the last fuse and pull yourself
  270. through the tiny vent. If you miss and the drone comes back push it away while your other glove recharges and try again, crawl through
  271. until you are looking out at the outside of the pipes and pull yourself onto the platform directly opposite you. Use this platform as
  272. a stepping stone to pull yourself onto the pipes and to plug in the switches.
  273.  
  274. Head back through the previous rooms to the laptop on the wall and use it, head through the door that was under water and through the
  275. corridor and into the elevator.
  276.  
  277. 5.d Hour 4: Spreading
  278. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  279.  
  280. Pull yourself out of the elevator and up to the series of pipes closest to the elevator opening and onto the next floor, the opposite
  281. series of pipes are not high enough to be of any use.In the next room ignore the gas cylinders for now and head to opposite end with the
  282. laser fence. Using the buttons move the laser fence as high as it will go then grab the nearby crate, use it to block the lower laser
  283. and pass the fence. Grab the box and move it to the door on the wall the lasers originate from and use the wall controls to bring the lasers
  284. towards you, when you have them against the door the box should be blocked the lower laser allowing you not to die. Head back to the
  285. previous room and grab a gas cylinder and throw it at the laser fence to blow open the door.
  286.  
  287. Tip: Fire is deadly unless is barely touches you in which case it will hurt like hell and second water containers are fairly brittle so
  288. be careful when carrying them.
  289.  
  290. Head through the door in the next room and immediately head left and grab the box, smash the 2 outer windows and ditch the box, head right
  291. and down to the level below. Smash all 3 water containers and wait for more to come down the chute, this should ensure the new ones roll under
  292. the laser fence. Grab one and head upstairs and aim in between either the fire on the left or right and you should extinguish two at once,
  293. once you have the key card from behind the left side head through the right window to the next room.
  294.  
  295. Head into the next room and grab a gas cylinder and ignite it using the open pipeline and head back through to the broken door at the
  296. end of the hallway and blow it up. Head left when you get into the next room and grab a barrel, throw it against the ceiling switch
  297. and grab a box. Use the box to break the grate and head into the adjacent shaft.
  298.  
  299. This next section can be difficult if you haven't got used to cushioning your fall with the right glove. Charge your right glove and take
  300. a running job onto the ledge on the opposite side of the shaft while facing the door, release your glove when you are about level with
  301. the top of the door frame and about to hit the ground and it should stop you short of the fire. Hit the button and continue downwards onto
  302. the lower platforms, once at the bottom (on either side) hit the button and pull yourself across to the opposite side and hit the last
  303. button. Jump down into the bottom of the shaft and enter the elevator to end the level.
  304.  
  305. 5.e Hour 5: Wastegate
  306. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  307.  
  308. Head down the corridor until you get to the end, you will find a red sdecurity drone int the shaft comes down to meet you straight away.
  309. Maneuver around him and grab a box, charge your throwing arm and knock him to the floor, while he's down make a climb up to the top of the
  310. shaft and seal the door to make sure he doesn't try to follow you.
  311.  
  312. In the next room pull the water containers to you and they should smash on the fire and douse it out. In the next room simply jump
  313. onto the set of pipes in front of you and continue to jump down until you have to wait for the lasers then keep heading down, be
  314. careful not to charge your glove too much as springing off a pipe into lasers is not fun. At the bottom of the shaft pull yourself to the
  315. door and into the next room.
  316.  
  317. Continue down the corridor opening the doors as you go, you will eventually come to a large shaft with 2 moving platform and a lot
  318. of lasers with movement controls, move the lasers down and pull yourself across the gap to the other side of the shaft. The corridors on this
  319. side are either dead ends or lead down to the level below so keep heading down until you reach the bottom floor, at the bottom of the shaft
  320. there will be a breakable grate with a room next to it with gas cylinders. Place a cylinder on the grate and then pull yourself up to
  321. the level above you and move the lasers down to destroy the cylinder and the grate, move them back up and jump back down to the level
  322. you were just on using your right glove to cushion your fall. Charge your glove again and jump into the chute on the floor, releasing
  323. your glove to avoid dieing.
  324.  
  325. Crawl out of the chute and hit the button in the next room and drop down to the next room, hit the button on the left hand wall and head
  326. past the wall grate into the next section. Hit the button on the right and then the next button on your right, the first of the two
  327. will open the gate after the one immediately in front you you and the second one will open the one in front of you. Drop into the shaft
  328. while the gates are open and pull yourself up into the next corridor.
  329.  
  330. At the end of the short corridor hit the button and pull yourself up the shaft into the next room, you may have to pull first pull
  331. yourself midway into the shaft and then out as the surfaces you have to target are limited. Open the door and pull the box
  332. towards you, stand it up to block the first laser fence and walk in between them. Move the box to block the second set and duck under
  333. the beams, grab the box again and face it towards the right hand wall as a shield against the lasers, make sure to duck while doing so
  334. and slowly strafe your way to the other end of the corridor. Open the door and enter the elevator to end the level.
  335.  
  336. 5.f Hour 6: Disposal
  337. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  338.  
  339. Prepare your right glove and walk straight into the shaft in the middle of the room, cushion your fall before you die and you should
  340. miss both sets of lasers and land safely at the bottom. Head left and drop down to the next floor, once you come into a wide open
  341. room with a breakable door at the end head left through the crawl space and pull yourself up into a similarly open room. Head through
  342. the grated doors into the large shaft and pull yourself to the platform on the opposite side, hit the gravity switch and use your gloves
  343. to control your movement to the door on the floor below. In this room you will be the trash ball, you will need to get this back to the
  344. room you saw with the breakable door.
  345.  
  346. Using your gloves and the lack of gravity push and pull the ball back through the 2 grated doors and this time open the grate on the floor
  347. and push the trash ball in. Head back through the crawl space and down the shaft with the pipes into the room below and grab a box from below
  348. the ramp that leads to the breakable door and use it to throw at the ceiling button. When open throw your trash ball at the door to destroy it
  349. and head into the next room.
  350.  
  351. Grab a barrel before heading left and placing it to block the laser fence, stack a second to make it high enough and duck underneath.
  352. Head to the end of the corridor where there are left and right buttons to move the laser fence, move it towards you to destroy the window
  353. and then move it back to the stack of barrels. Grab the key card and open the locked door next to the laser fence and head back to your
  354. trash ball sitting in the previous room. Push it against the door in the room you just smashed the window and grab the fuse, head back to
  355. room you sourced the barrels from and replace the fuse.
  356.  
  357. In the next room had left into the large open room with crates and pull yourself directly up to the switch next to the 2 wall fans, once
  358. pressed go back and grab your trash ball and push it into that room. Get the trash ball to the right hand platform and push it onto the platform,
  359. the platform itself has low gravity properties even though it's not technically in the room so if you have a chance give it a push onto the
  360. higher platform opposite. Once you have trash ball on the walkway above the floor push the trash ball onto the second platform and eventually through
  361. the door. If you need to adjust either platform there are controls next to them to move them up and down.
  362.  
  363. Peak your head around the corner in the next room and when you see the tracer retreat back and move the trash ball into firing position, hit
  364. it with full force to knock it down and then climb the shaft up and once at the top head for the elevator.
  365.  
  366. 5.g Hour 7: Defense
  367. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  368.  
  369. You will be assaulted by a tracer straight out of the elevator, just run by it and shunt it where necessary to stop it killing you. Once you
  370. come out into the open area with the movable platform and water jump down into the water. Although your gloves won't work you can still pick up
  371. objects if you are persistent so grab a box and haul it up onto the platform leading out of the water. Throw it up onto the level above and then
  372. haul yourself up as well, grab the box and head into the next section. Throw the box at the window to smash it and grab the key card and head
  373. use it to open the door opposite the breakable one.
  374.  
  375. The next room has a security turret which has motion tracking and can fire 3 times without a pause, grab your faithful box you used to smash
  376. the window for the key card and place it in front of the door to the room with the turret. Open the door and duck behind the box, pick it
  377. up and slowly move to the opposite end of the room while keeping your view of the turret completely blocked, once on the other side open the door
  378. and run right through to the next door.
  379.  
  380. Head down the walkway and through the next door where there are frickin' lasers everywhere, wait for the lasers to head away from you and pull
  381. yourself onto the L shaped structure above you. When the nearest laser fence is again heading away drop down to the floor and run along the wall
  382. and pull yourself up onto the next L shaped structure. When you are at the end of the room on top of the L shaped structure grab a barrel below you
  383. and throw it at the door switch. Wait for one set of the vertical lasers covering the door to be moving above the door and use the switch on the wall
  384. next to you to stop them. The lasers will only stop for a short time so make a run for it into the next room.
  385.  
  386. Walk through to the next room and grab an explosive (red) barrel, throw it into the midst of the three turrets in the next room and hide out of site from
  387. all 3 of them. With any luck one of the 3 turrets has tracked and destroyed the barrel while taking itself out at the same time, repeat this with the infinite
  388. barrel supply where you got your first one. If you are feeling lucky you can try hitting the door switch with a barrel and making a run for it from the far right.
  389. At the end of the corridor grab the key card and head back to the room before the turret room and the other door.
  390.  
  391. Open the door but be careful as a turret resides of the ground level, peak upwards and once the most immediately of the upper laser fences is on run
  392. into the room and down into the pit using your glove you cushion your fall. Hit the switch and wait until the lasers above you are off and boost yourself
  393. back up onto the ground floor, do this on the side of the hole the lasers are hitting so when you come out you are next to the door. Retreat back to the
  394. previous room and recharge your glove and then run back into the room and boost yourself onto the first floor, keep moving as when in range the turret below
  395. and above will shoot at you. Charge your left glove and take a leap of faith into the middle while targeting high above the platform above you on a wall to
  396. pull yourself up to the next level. Once on this level hit the switch to turn down the gravity and making your way back down to the hole, position yourself in
  397. between the lasers and aim straight down to boost yourself to the top of the tunnel. Once you hand landed in the next room head into the elevator to end the level.
  398.  
  399. 5.h Hour 8: Station
  400. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  401.  
  402. Run from the elevator into the first room with the turret in it, grab a barrel and make a run for the pillar next to the breakable door. Throw the barrel with full
  403. charge into the middle window on the other side of the room, it will bounce off without any damage but should cause the turret to hit the window
  404. (or the one next to it) a couple of times. Grab the barrel again and repeat until the window is broken and then head around the back of the remaining
  405. windows and grab the key card, head through the door near where you broke the window.
  406.  
  407. Pull yourself over the lasers on the floor below and in the right hand corridor pull the box to you, break the floor plate and throw the box down followed
  408. by yourself. Use the box to block the floor lasers and to carefully grab an explosive barrel, throw the barrel through the hole you came down through back up
  409. followed by your faithful companion box. Jump yourself back up and grab the explosive barrel, wait until the laser fence is against the far wall and throw the
  410. barrel to blow open the wall. Grab the box and use it as a shield against the laser fence always remembering to be patient and to face the transmitting side
  411. of the lasers at all times. Jump through the hole in the wall and into the next room.

  413. In the next room use the right and left switches to destroy both turrets by moving them in line with them and then move it against the far left wall.Drop down onto
  414. the level below, use the walls for cover against the hallway turret and then run for the diagonal wall support right next to the turret...welcome to your new
  415. home for a while. Grab a box and use it as a shield against the turret and put it down so you can see down the corridor to where the gas cylinder are and grab one,
  416. the turret won't give you any trouble unless you don't grab it and it starts rolling on the floor. Throw the gas cylinder against the middle of the far wall, it should
  417. hit the laser fence and destroy a part of the wall. Grab a spare box and set it up next to the other diagonal wall support and head back upstairs. Adjust the laser fence
  418. to the far right and the bottom 2 beams should be blocked by the box you just setup, head back down and into cover where you can see the main room. Start clearing out
  419. the rubble into the far right corner while learning which parts of the room the turret can't see (Most of the rubble side of the room), make sure to clear the couple
  420. of barrels in the next room as well.
  421.  
  422. Grab a gas cylinder and throw it into the vision of the turret with about half force so it doesn't bounce too fast for the turret to track, once the turret hits the cylinder
  423. it will ignite at which point run out and grab it. Run into the next room ignoring the tracer that will come down from the ceiling and destroy the wall around the corner,
  424. immediately run back into the previous room and into cover, if the turret follows you take cover on the other side of the laser fence and it should destroy itself or just
  425. remove the box you used to block the fence as a precaution. There is another wall directly opposite the one you just blew up so be ready to repeat the process, if you
  426. destroyed the tracer it will reappear so keep that in mind. Once you have destroyed the second wall give the tracer a good shove and pull yourself across the divide
  427. into the next room.
  428.  
  429. Open the door into the next room (what a novelty) and carefully head left to shift the laser fence until it is against the pillar and go grab the explosive barrel,
  430. go to the other side of the fence and adjust it until it is on the destroyable wall and throw the barrel at it.
  431.  
  432. You will be trapped in the next room until Oscar opens the far end door so just keep shoving the tracer that comes down from the ceiling while positioning yourself
  433. near the door, eventually he will open the door and you should be able to lose the tracer. If you don't and he follows you into the next room I would suggest
  434. quick loading.
  435.  
  436. Head around the corner in this room and start grabbing the barrels and stacking them against the wall opposite the barrel dispenser starting at the destroyable wall
  437. leading to the open gas jet, you don't need many since they have a large blast area so clear the remainder into a corner away from the lines up ones. Grab a
  438. free barrel and throw it at the gas jet making sure to be against the other wall to avoid being caught in the explosion and they should chain react and destroy the wall.
  439.  
  440. Pull yourself into the small ledge with the piping on the far side of the room by targeting above it and then pull yourself on top of the piping and into the next room,
  441. once you are overlooking the fans line yourself up, charge your right glove to avoid fall damage and jump onto the middle while releasing the glove before you hit. Hit the
  442. switch and once the fan stops pull yourself to the wall below, you don't have long as the fan will restart so be quick. Once at the next fan use about a half strength pull
  443. targeted at the switch to land on top of it, hit the button and when the fan stops drop down to the bottom floor and open the door into the next room.
  444.  
  445. Run for the pillar to the turrets right hand side (Although doesn't really matter) and grab a barrel, edge out from cover and with very little power push the barrel into the
  446. turrets view. It should land on the destroyable floor and the turret should blow the floor open for you, if not then vary your tactic, power and direction and shouldn't
  447. take you too long.
  448.  
  449. 5.i Hour 9: Module
  450. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  451.  
  452. Head onto the bridge and pull yourself right onto the side where you can avoid the lasers, using the pillars as cover get to the other side of the room, pull yourself across the
  453. large gap and grab the fuse. Return the way you came and insert the fuse, once done wait for the flame closest to the entrance of the room to die down and jump down and hold the
  454. left switch for about 4 seconds then pull yourself back onto the platform to avoid the flames. Repeat this until you hear a clunk sound that the bridge is now in place and head back
  455. to where you grabbed the fuse and use the laptop then jump onto the bridge and into the next room.
  456.  
  457. After the cut scene head down the corridor and grab a barrel, when you come to the end you will have a tracer come down the shaft at you, lead him back as far as you need and hit him
  458. with the barrel to put him down. Run back to the shaft and use your right glove to bounce off the ground and quickly charge the left one while flying to grab the wall and pull yourself
  459. on to the pipes. Re-charge your gloves and pull yourself across onto the next ledge and into the next room.
  460.  
  461. Grab a barrel and throw it at the blue switch past the laser beams, charge your right glove and jump down, follow the path and you will come to a room with a moving laser fence and
  462. 2 pillars. Use the pillars as cover and when you get to the opposite wall make sure to hug it as the lasers will get close to the wall, open the door and head into the next room.
  463.  
  464. Move the laser fence in front of you so that it is blocked the pillar, be careful as one laser won't move and you will have to jump over it. Grab a box and use it to block the
  465. lasers that guard the room to the right but be aware that you don't have a lot of room due to the missing grates. Jump over the static laser and grab a gas cylinder and move it
  466. into the room with the breakable door and set it down, head back to the wall switches and use them to move the fence and destroy the door.
  467.  
  468. Grab the key card and head back the way you came until you are outside the room with the key card, as you round the corner you will have 2 tracers come at you so leg it back to the
  469. laser fence room shoving the tracers back as you go. In the laser fence room just negotiate the room as before taking your time until you are on the other side, push the tracers
  470. into the laser fence when required. Once they are dealt with head back on your original path and throw a barrel at the switch to disable the laser fence then pull yourself back up.
  471.  
  472. Head straight ahead and open the door with the key card, grab a water container and use it to douse the fire and repeat to get rid of the remaining fires. Head down the corridor and
  473. into the next room, there are multiple fires so keep and eye out. You have the choice of left or right and you will notice on the right there is a fire suppression shower keeping
  474. the fire at bay. Grab a barrel and hit the left switch and it should start moving the fire suppression, run to the other door and follow the head as it moves, once it stops
  475. in the middle hit the next switch to bring the one at the other end of the corridor to you. Grab another barrel and hit the switch in this corridor to once again move the head,
  476. keep yourself under and you should be fine. Once at the end pull the water containers towards you and they should smash and extinguish most of the fires, make sure the ones opposite the
  477. water container dispenser are out and throw a barrel at the ceiling switch to bring down the gas cylinders. Grab one and wait for the fire next to the breakable door to respawn and
  478. use the cylinder to destroy it. Open the door in the next room and follow the corridor into the elevator to exit the level.
  479.  
  480. 5.j Hour 10: Defusal
  481. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  482.  
  483. Head down the passage use the wall with the switch as cover and open the door, charge your pull, step out and release to grab the box and get back into cover. Bait the turret into
  484. destroying the left window and use the box as a shield, slowly back up covering yourself from the nearest turret, if the further one shoots at you make a run for the pillar at the
  485. back of the room. Run from this pillar to the one next to the door and duck out to open the door and head through to the next room.
  486.  
  487. Hold your left mouse button to disarm the explosives and open the door, go back to the previous room and grab the box and chuck it down the shaft to the level below and then jump
  488. down yourself. Use the box as a shield while you let the turrets destroy the left hand window, move towards the left hand turret and stay right next to it. Since the barrel is too long it
  489. won't be able to hit you, it will also shield you from the other turret. From here destroy the window next to the door and run through into the next area with the explosives, the panel
  490. to disarm is on the left as you enter the room.
  491.  
  492. Open the door and drop down into the next shaft, head left and grab a barrel while finding some cover from the turret. Throw the barrel at the far switch then either make a run for it
  493. or throw one of the other barrels for a distraction then run for it. Once across and through the door drop down into the next level.
  494.  
  495. Head to the end of the corridor and in the dead end will reside the last of the explosives, pull yourself up onto the ledge above the corridor, edge yourself towards the panel until
  496. it becomes usable and disarm the explosives.
  497.  
  498. On the way back grab the overcharge from the wall and use it to destroy the turret, once you head into the room the turret was in you will be find 2 tracers will come at you, maneuver
  499. around them and head for the door at the other end of the room. Enter the door and close it behind you, climb up the shaft and grab the overcharge next to the pipes before pulling yourself
  500. up. Destroy one of the 2 turrets then head back and grab another overcharge to destroy the second one then head into the room where another 2 tracers will be waiting for you, dodge and move
  501. and when the time is right run for the door and lock them out again.
  502.  
  503. Pull yourself up the shaft and head into the room with 2 turrets, this time you have no overcharges so you'll have to make do. Grab a barrel as distraction while using the pillars as cover,
  504. come at the closest turret from an angle and he should miss you with all 3 shots before having to reload giving you enough time to find cover on the other side of the room. If you hav trouble with
  505. this approach brandish a barrel as a one hit shield and try again otherwise go grab the box from downstairs.
  506.  
  507. This next section is fairly hard so be ready, if the door to the turret room is still open close it, grab a barrel and put it into the room adjacent. Run down the corridor until you provoke a tracer
  508. and run back to the room where you have the barrel and wait for the tracer to get in and close the door as he has 3 friends who want to play as well. Pick up the barrel and charge a throw
  509. while dodging the tracer is close quarters, try to stick to the walls while doing this and you should avoid the tracer most of the time, pickup the barrel and hit knock the tracer down and pick
  510. it up. Ensure you have enough energy and throw it against a wall to damage it. After 3 hits the tracer will go down and you can reset your barrel, charge your energy and open the door to face
  511. the next contender. You may have to walk back down the corridor and provoke them but once you have an interested one make sure to lock him in with you. Once all 4 are dead head into the elevator
  512. to exit the level.
  513.  
  514. 5.k Hour 11: Overload
  515. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  517. Grab a barrel and use the switch to open the floor grate, throw your barrel to to activate the next switch, if you don't get it just quick load and try again. Once it's activate float down through
  518. and try to time right to make it through the lasers, if you're going to hit them use your gloves on the walls to adjust your fall.
  519.  
  520. Float down through the hole into the next room and as soon as you're able to pull yourself to the floor and hide behind a pillar to avoid turret fire, move from pillar to pillar until you're
  521. next to the hole leading into the next room and duck through.
  522.  
  523. Drop down into the next room while remembering that there IS gravity in this room, open the working door and the next one after that. Grab a barrel and aim it at the switch down near the bottom of the
  524. room, once activated bounce yourself to the top of the room and use the switch to open the grate for the trash ball. Guide the trash ball back to the room you dropped into it and use it to break the door.

  526. Open the next door and be advised you are looking at a floating minefield, step onto the ledge from the door and vault yourself up to the corridor on the other side near the top, once there pull a mine
  527. towards you and sit with it next to the door while it explodes to open the breakable door.
  528.  
  529. In the next room stack a box and jump into the vent and through into the next room, drop down into a much larger room and pull yourself to the ground using your gloves. Walk under the middle arch
  530. way and pull yourself up, you should now be looking at an adjacent room with a bunch of lasers. Pull yourself down towards the opposite wall and while floating pull yourself either left or right to
  531. the wall switch, hit the switch and then use the wall as an intermediate point then pull yourself to the other switch. Once both are activated pull yourself out of the room and back into the main area.

  533. Activate the switch on the floor and head for the elevator to exit the level.
  534.  
  535. 5.l Hour 12: Red Herring
  536. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  537.  
  538. Head into the elevator on the left and hit the button to ride up a level, head left and after getting to the door with 2 fuse boxes head left again and open the door at the end of the corridor. Head
  539. down the slope and into the elevator and hit the button to ride down a level. Grab an explosive barrel and throw it at the turret and it should shoot it destroying itself, grab another barrel and
  540. head into the next room where you will need to start another chain reaction to destroy the door and start laying them parallel to the open pipes around the corner to the door. Grab another
  541. barrel and after passing the turret throw it at the open flames to destroy the barrels and the door.
  542.  
  543. Pull yourself up into the next room and position yourself in the middle of the fan targeting slightly above the button, pull yourself up and activate the button while falling. Pull yourself through the
  544. stationary fan blades and repeat the process again until you're through, pull yourself up into the next room and head back to the fuse box. Once you have replaced the fuse head to the opposite end of the
  545. corridor and through the door into the next area.
  546.  
  547. This is another series of fans and you know the drill, use half strength pull to get yourself on top of the switch, hit the switch and pull yourself against a wall to fall onto the platform below...rinse
  548. and repeat until at the bottom. Grab the fuse and hit the switch to turn the gravity down and jump while directly under the center of the fan to reach and activate it, pull yourself up past the fan blades
  549. close to a wall and rinse and repeat. Replace the fuse and head through the door.
  550.  
  551. 5.m Hour 13: Stunner
  552. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  553.  
  554. Head out and left into the first room, to your immediate left you will see 4 very angry looking tracers you won't have to fight. Above you there is a switch on top of some ducting above the corridor you came in
  555. hit it and make a run for the other door in the room and the tracers will be trapped. Head through the windowed corridor to the door for the other side of the room and close it behind you as the tracers can
  556. break the blue glass but are unlikely to figure out doors.
  557.  
  558. Come into the next room and when the tracers come calling stand in front on the window and let them break it, grab a box and run right using the box as a shield. Down the tracer by hitting it with the box and
  559. then throwing it against the wall and eventually you will have time to grab the box and use it to break the grating in the room with the 2 pillars.
  560.  
  561. In the next room hit the switch to send the platform up and pull yourself up to the next level, place the barrel next to the door, pull yourself on top of the platform and pull the barrel towards you. This should
  562. destroy the barrel and the door in one.
  563.  
  564. Head through the next few rooms and into the elevator to end the level.
  565.  
  566. 5.n Hour 14: Resident
  567. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  568.  
  569. Head down the corridor the opposite way from the lift and drop down the shaft while cushioning your fall, drop down to the area with 4 elevators and head right into the shaft. Grab the box above you and smash
  570. open the vent into the next room.
  571.  
  572. Jump onto the elevator cart and then jump from there down onto the ledge with the buttons while cushioning your fall, move the lasers up and out of the way and then jump on top of the other elevator and again
  573. jump off and down to the buttons. Move this laser fence up far enough to grab a gas cylinder and then down as far as it'll go, get into the elevator and then jump on top of it. Pull the cylinder out of the
  574. cart and then jump off when it reaches the next platform, move the lasers to be level with the breakable door and throw the gas cylinder to destroy it and the door.
  575.  
  576. In the next area jump into the shaft and grab the key card , pull yourself out and call the elevator with the button to return to the room with 4 elevators. Pull yourself up a level and use the keycard
  577. then drop back down and head down the slope and into the next room.
  578.  
  579. Wait for the platform to come to your side as it slides between both sides of the room and jump on then pull yourself across to either the other moving platform, lower platform or the floor as all are likely
  580. possibilities. Open the door and head to the other side of the room, this time you're on the lower level so simply wait for the platforms to come out and pull yourself over the lasers while cushioning your fall.
  581. Grab the water and extinguish the flames and head into the next room. Grab the key card in the elevator shaft, call down the elevator with the button and you will return to the room with 4 elevators,
  582. pull yourself up and use the second key card.
  583.  
  584. Head back down a level and into the corridor with the 3 fuse boxes, head right while keeping an eye on the turret that will be tracking you. Stand in front of a window and let the turret shoot it out then be
  585. prepared for some running, run in a square around the room as many times as it takes for the turret to shoot out a window on each side and grab the 3 fuses. Head back to the fuse boxes and throw them in and then
  586. call the elevator. Ride the elevator down and head over to the other elevator and jump down to grab the key card, pull yourself up and call the elevator to return to the main elevator room. Pull yourself a level
  587. and use the key card on one of the remaining doors.
  588.  
  589. Drop back down to the lower level with the elevators and call the one on the far left with the button on the pillar, ride it down and then send it back up. Jump down and grab the key card, pull yourself back
  590. up and then call the elevator again. Ride the elevator back up to the main room and pull yourself up one level to unlock the last door. Head through the open doors and into the elevator to finish the level.

  592. 5.o Hour 15: Route
  593. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  594.  
  595. Head out of the elevator and grab the box in the corridor to the left, face it towards the wall the corridor faces and start strafing your way left keeping the box facing the black wall, you will find a laser fence
  596. will suddenly but you will be protected, drop the box when you're though and head into the next room.
  597.  
  598. Ignore everything here except the possibility of imminent death and head to the platform overlooking the lasers that stretch down the corridor, with good timing you can jump in between them and run the entire
  599. length without screwing around with switches. Run to the end and again with good timing (read, quick save) pull yourself up and into the next room.
  600.  
  601. Run past the area to the left with the lasers and turret and head right instead. Pull yourself up the shaft into the next room, hit the switch and jump down under the glass wall and pull yourself out of the hole
  602. and on top of the platform before it becomes too high. If you fail then just go and hit the switch again to switch the direction the platform is heading, once you have the key card then head back to the platform
  603. with the lasers and the turret.
  604.  
  605. Get ready with your quick save/load keys as this might take a while, jump down below the lasers and charge your pull while running to the other end. At the other end pull yourself into the next section of the room,
  606. hit the ground running and do circles of the room until you've found a place to pull yourself up. Try to pull yourself up on the top right hand corner as the door is in that corner and there is cover very close.
  607.  
  608. Travel down the corridor into the next room and setup the barrels for chain reaction against the breakable door, grab another barrel and head into the next room. Throw the barrel at the breakable floor grate and
  609. then stack the boxes to block both layers of lasers while you drop down to the level below and head into the elevator to end the level.
  610.  
  611. 5.p Hour 16: Mainframe
  612. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  613.  
  614. Head down the corridor and when you come to the long corridor with the unmistakable laser wall on the right start running, when you get to the slightly more open area pull yourself up on to the pipes and wait. When
  615. the laser fence comes back drop down and make a run for the other end of the corridor.
  616.  
  617. Head into the right corridor and follow the passage into the room you enter with the button on the wall, click the button to disable the lasers and walk to the other end of the room where some laser controls are
  618. located. Grab 2 barrels place them on top of each other in the doorway aligned with the wall switch (where you can see the grate through the window) and move the laser fence so it is being blocked by the barrels.
  619. Get around the other side of the fence and move it so the lasers are activating the button and head out of the room and through the open grate door.
  620.  
  621. Jump down the shaft while remember to cushion your fall then head through the corridor into the second shaft and do the same to reach the bottom, head into the elevator and it will automatically start going up.
  622. Immediately climb on top of the elevator as they are always death traps in this game and once the first alcove is within reach pull yourself onto it and wait for the lasers to pass. Once they have passed pull
  623. yourself on to the pipes directly above you by using the wall and the by targeting the wall pull yourself up to the the next (much larger) alcove.
  624.  
  625. Hit the button and use the boxes to break the window and head back into the main area with the door now open. Head into the next room and wait for the turret to destroy the glass and run circles around
  626. it until you are close enough it can't shoot you and then wait for the laser beam on the roof to activate and destroy it while hopefully not destroying you.

  628. Drop down and follow the corridors until you see the turret, using cover advance to the edge of the room and then run to the left pillar making sure to watch for the lasers, when you have the timing of the lasers down
  629. run around them and past the door to the other side and use the controls to move the platform up next to the control for the explosives. Charge your glove and run for the other side of the room
  630. while avoiding the lasers and pull yourself up on the wall and disable the explosives. Jump down and run into the elevator to end the level.

  632. 5.q Hour 17: Final Battle

  635. This fight is extremely difficult to the point of insanity and poorly designed like the rest of the game, basically the room has 4 buttons and 4 wall laptops and you must activate a "bridge" between opposing
  636. laptops by using the button on one side then pulling yourself over to the other side to use the other button then quickly using the laptop for a predetermined amount of time before the "bridge" automatically
  637. disables itself. You do this while dodging tracers and rolling mines which will constantly spawn, the only respite is the overcharge in the middle of the room which you can use to destroy the tracer for a short
  638. time before it respawns.
  639.  
  640. Keep at the laptops, try not to quick save yourself into a corner and most importantly be paitent and you will eventually activate all 4 laptops, this will free the Sector and play the ending (finally!).
