INTRODUCTION
Rationale of the Study
	Students nowadays are sometimes having problems taking down notes. They are usually not organized in writing their notes; they sometimes write it in a scratch of paper or sometimes in notebooks that are untidy. But since the technology is now in mutiny, students are beginning to get lazy. They want everything to be in digital or to be high tech.
	Notes organizer software can make organizing notes faster, efficient and it gives less pester to students for they will no longer flip their notebooks just to search or look for a specific topic.

Theoretical Background
Personal Document Retrieval System is about an organizer software differs from other organizer software in its simplicity and reliability. Users have no problems with note�s titles and location. They can quickly find the desired note without having to remember its location. Personal Document Retrieval System software makes it easy to manage the large amount of information that crosses the users� desk every day. Its freeform notes manager uses a natural way to retrieve notes, using keywords to filter the users� knowledge base for related information quickly. Whether the users� are organizing research notes, email annals, or story ideas, it makes the users� life easier.



Related Literature
	Base on the research, there is much software for organizing notes that already exists. Microsoft One Note is the most famous. Microsoft Office OneNote, usually referred to as Microsoft OneNote, is a tool for note taking, information gathering, and multi-user collaboration by Microsoft. While many earlier systems relied on linear text flow (simple lists), OneNote visualizes notes as a two-dimensional page. OneNote also adds modern features such as drawings, pictures, multimedia audio, video, and ink as well as multi-user sharing of notes. Unlike paper-based systems, word processing programs, e-mail systems, or other productivity programs, Office OneNote delivers the flexibility to gather and organize text, pictures, digital handwriting, audio and video recordings, and more � all in one digital notebook on your computer. Office OneNote 2007 can help the user to become more productive by keeping their information needed at their fingertips and diminution time spent searching for information across e-mail messages, paper notebooks, file folders, and printouts.









THE PROBLEM
Significance of the Study

         In a fast changing world, where almost every single thing to do or needed to be done should be in an instant. Fast food, instant messaging, cars for faster arrivals, electronic mails and many more that could possibly be done just to reach a specified deadline. To lessen stress and most of all to treasure time. This is what every people are experiencing and even the next generation to come.
         People who experience the sprint of reaching specified deadlines can not be just experience by those who are working, traveling� but even to students. They woke up in the world where time means a lot. To prepare them from the real world is to edify, develop their skill and most of all to let them study. But studying is not that friendly as it sound. It�s not that easy, it takes time. The more there are a lot to learn, the more it needs time to study. If the more it takes time, the greater the possibility to bore the student.
         Through this thesis project it changes the student�s perspective in studying. This means the importance of being organized and the value of being efficient. It helps a lot in improving the study habits of the student. Most of all this leads to a successful plan of time budgeting.
         This thesis project is not meant only for students but for those people who value order and efficiency in their works. Faster entr�e to important notes are very much efficient than scanning the whole book or notebook to look for the desired topic. Imagine how it would take time, effort and how much it will lead to stress. What more for searching not only one, but many topics. That�s why using this thesis project, it lessens the burden and hassle of scanning and searching unorganized notes.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

         It started the idea base on experience, relating the problem in real life experiences on how stressful it is in scanning topics in the notes. How it cost so much time in searching for one topic, how much more for more than one. It is further improve through the help of the internet, researching on related topics, basic ideas about the thesis topic. Expand reading on related books that is of much help and may even be on about facts. Then consulting an guru, in order to dig deeper in improving and understanding more the thesis topic.
