To Install mfc420cn brother printer:
 apt-get install csh
(make have to poweroff the printer at this point)
 mkdir /var/spool/lpd/MFC420CN
 ln -s /etc/init.d/cupsys /etc/init.d/cups
 dpkg -i --force-all mfc420cnlpr-1.0.2-1.i386.deb
 dpkg -i --force-all cupswrappermfc420cn_1.0.0-1_i386.deb
 dpkg -i brscan-skey-0.2.0-1.i386.deb
 dpkg -i brscan-skey-0.2.0-1.i386.deb

 in webbrowser : localhost:631
 /usr/share/cups/model$ ls
 brmfc420cn_cups.ppd hpijs
sudo dpkg -i --force-architecture mfc420cnlpr-1.0.2-1.i386.deb if using .i386 on amd64
