- degree complements: the degree of an adjective or adverb has some consequence
- She is so slow that she will have to come in on Sunday. (so + adjective/adverb)
- = She is such a slow worker that she will have to come in on Sunday. (such + modified noun)
- She is too late to come to class. (= She is so late that she can’t come to class.)
- She is early enough to come to class. (She is early, and this means she can come to class.)
