[16:20:09] Rabtar  the group set off, making a stop at the ant hill that Ragebrew had spotted on the way in. It is still very early in the morning, the sun hasn't even risen yet...
[16:20:44] Spectre its flying about the tank, ducking in and out from time to time as he enjoys the darkness
[16:20:53] Ragebrew perched herself on top of the tank, binoculars hanging from her next as a cigarette smoldered idly between her lips. She rested a hoof around Lostshot's shoulder, hugging the mare close to her as she spied the hive entrance.
[16:21:48] Lostshot is curled around Ragebrew and most likely still half asleep. She was tired and glad to be back in Rage's hooves. She nuzzled into Rages shoulder as she was huggled!
[16:21:58] Spectre drops down and hovers along beside rage "So... Remind me why we are going to check out a hive of possibly fire breathing ants?"
[16:21:58] Elektron pilots the tank towards the ant's nest, following Ragebrew's instructions for reaching it
[16:22:47] Rabtar  Ragebrew don't see shit
[16:24:15] <+Ragebrew> "Because I saw some pony skeletons near it. Might be some worthwhile gear in there. Plus, rather not have a bunch of giant fire breathing ants resting in my backyard. Eventually they'll be a real problem. Tearing open shops, stealing sugar, traumatizing little fillies that the scent of formic acid sends them into a panic attack... Pity we don't have any zookas..."
[16:25:03] <+Ragebrew> "Plus, fire ant meat is deliciously spicy."
[16:25:39] <Spectre> ".... RIght..."
[16:26:16] <+Ragebrew> "Course, pitch black, can't see shit." She offered the binoculars to Spectre "Fancy a look?"
[16:26:21] <Spectre> "Just saying... Id rather not be set on fire again"
[16:26:34] Spectre shrugs and takes the bino's "Silly day ponies"
[16:28:54] Rabtar  Spectre don't see shit either...
[16:29:29] <Spectre> ".... I dont see a thing.." he muters and peers at the binoculars in case they were malfunctioning or something
[16:30:47] <+Ragebrew> "They might be all sleeping right now. Move us closer, but stay a little ways out Elektron. Don't want them coming up to say hello too soon. Unless we want to play rifle tag..."
[16:31:40] Elektron nods, shouting "Got it!" from the cockpit
[16:31:48] Lostshot grumbles "Ragey.. your too loud.. nnn.. ur not even moanin'..." she mutters rolling to her other side and stretching awake.
[16:32:24] Spectre taps a hoof to his chin "I guess ill go sneaky sneak then"
[16:32:48] Ragebrew looked at Lostshot and chuckled, before reaching over to Merciful_Devotion, nudging her a few times. "Wakey wakey. And be careful Spectre. They don't need to see ya to know yer there..."
[16:33:07] <Spectre> "Ill try" and poof into the night he goes...
[16:33:29] Merciful_Devotion snorts softly and lifts her head. "Huh? Did I pass out again?"
[16:34:58] Ragebrew chuckled. "This is the time of day normal ponies be sleeping anyways. Come on, we got a hill of ants to reduce to chunks."
[16:35:08] Lostshot gets up and stretches about eventually making her way against Rage and nibbling her mane and looking around "Was goin' ohn?"
[16:35:43] Merciful_Devotion grins, though her eyes were still tired looking. "Sounds fun! Let's glass it."
[16:36:48] Rabtar  the batpony slinks up to the entrance, where he is greeted with a repugnant stink of.... something. But before he can investigate further a loud "SKREE!" sounds out from behind him, followed closely by a great gout of flame...
[16:40:10] Spectre screamy burny batpony flies away!
[16:41:06] Ragebrew blinked, seeing fire, then burning comet of a batpony. "Well then..."
[16:41:23] <Spectre> "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT RAGE!!"
[16:42:55] Merciful_Devotion blinks, then starts giggling uncontrollably. "And I thought he was hot before!"
[16:44:36] <+Ragebrew> "Always is." She chambered a couple incindiary rounds into Omega. "Alright then. Time to light up some targets."
[16:45:47] Elektron stops the tank to provide a stable platform, remaining inside for the moment
[16:45:50] Lostshot pops her head out of the tank "Huh. I need ta apologize to that colt.." she says getting up and standing atop the tank. "Ooohhh ants!"
[16:46:13] <+Ragebrew> "Oh no. Keep this tank moving Elektron. We do NOT want them to come closer."
[16:46:20] <+Ragebrew> "Big guns foals."
[16:47:01] Elektron shouts up "Should we move away then?"
[16:47:40] <+Ragebrew> "Move around and away when they come close." She looked to the comet pony "Spectre! Get us some light down there!"
[16:47:56] Merciful_Devotion grins and readies her saddle. "Let's get shooting!"
[16:48:25] <+Ragebrew> "Use the caster. Their armor is pretty tough."
[16:48:39] Elektron prepares to move the tank when the time comes
[16:49:34] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Oh come on, I haven't been able to use my love thumper at all yet! Even if the caster /does/ make pretty goo..."
[16:50:12] <+Ragebrew> "That's for small and plentiful! Not huge and armored!"
[16:55:43] <Spectre> The flaily burny batpony grabs an incendiary grenade and tosses it at where he believes the ant was
[16:57:29] Rabtar  the grenade disappears down the ant hole, a few moments later there is a soft pop and light can been seen coming out of the entrance. A single large ant is silhouetted in the ire light...
[16:58:18] Ragebrew looked at the lone lit ant. "Well, that'll do for now." BLAM BLAM went Omega.
[17:00:53] Rabtar  the ant explodes in a huge fireball, illuminating two other ants. One of them much larger than the others.
[17:01:23] <+Ragebrew> "Warrior! Drop the big one!"
[17:07:44] Lostshot pulls out her Battle Rifle and aims for the head of the biggest ant she sees.
[17:10:52] Rabtar  the mare hits it once in the head, giving it a bad wound. But it still comes...
[17:13:35] Spectre darts in, katana in mouth as he swings twice at the larger beasties head before darting off again
[17:16:24] Rabtar  the big ants head is split clean in half, killing the thing outright. It's body flops to the ground twitching....
[17:17:59] Merciful_Devotion shifts to let her plasma caster fire off two blasts towards the remaining ant.
[17:20:27] Rabtar  the second ant is killed outright, exploding in flames like the other.
[17:21:22] <+Ragebrew> "Damnit... Getting reagents from these is gonna be a bitch."
[17:23:34] Ragebrew hopped off the Tank, trotting towards the entrance, waving the Samaritan side to side, it's weak light illuminating the area. "Guess they are all infact sleeping. Who wants to post up outside and play pot shot as they come out with the dawn."
[17:24:26] Spectre hovers back to Rage "Seems like cutting up their heads doesnt make them pop"
[17:24:35] Elektron 's answer resides with him. Inside the tank
[17:25:03] <+Ragebrew> "Good to know." She flicked out her knife, and started to cut apart the large one.
[17:28:34] Ragebrew put away the globs of deliciously spicy nectar, looking around "Yeah, figure they are all inside. We can either wait 'em out with the dawn... Or do the right proper stupid thing and siege the nest at night."
[17:31:27] <+Ragebrew> "Which'll it be foals?" She hopped back onto the tank, looking at the others.
[17:31:28] <Spectre> "Im good with staying outside where i can stay out of their reach..."
[17:32:03] <+Ragebrew> "One for head hunting. Anyone else got two bits to put in on this?"
[17:32:07] <+Elektron> "I vote for staying where they can't reach us."
[17:33:01] <+Merciful_Devotion> "I just wanna blow more of those things up! That was awesome!"
[17:33:23] <+Ragebrew> "Alright then. Head hunting it is. Everyone, perch up, cover the entrance. Figure we'll thin their ranks than head inside to snuff mommy."
[17:35:25] Lostshot reloads and switches to her pistol waiting for the tank to get over there. She waits with a yawn "We goin in yet Ragey?"
[17:35:55] Ragebrew slipped her double barreled shotgun, slipping a double of slugs. "Not yet. Thinning their ranks till they stop popping out.
[17:36:25] Elektron waits at the controls of the tank should the response be more than the group can handle
[17:36:30] <Spectre> "While I grew up in caves id like to avoid going into a damn ant hill..."
[17:36:44] Rabtar  they sit and wait, only two or three ants leave the entrance and those are quickly dispatched by Spectre. There is far less activity than would be expected, even as the sun rises....
[17:37:44] <+Ragebrew> "Gotta kill mommy eventually..." She grumbled as less came out than expected. She looked at her pair of gland pouches. "Guess I gotta bait the trap..."
[17:38:03] Ragebrew pulled out her alchemy kit, and went to work.
[17:39:33] Merciful_Devotion yawns. "This got less fun with the light."
[17:42:19] Rabtar  Ragebrew dose indeed make some kind of ant bait...
[17:42:50] Ragebrew held up some discolored goop. "Alright then... I have no idea what this'll do exactly, but may as well see." She scurried over to the entrance, peering down for a moment before smearing the pheromone paste around the entrance, making a trail back towards the tank.
[17:43:42] Spectre flies over and gives a couple wing flaps, trying to fan the scent inside
[17:44:06] Rabtar  as Ragebrew sets out the bait, a half dozen holes open up around him and the tank! The ants had spent the night digging!
[17:48:41] Rabtar  there are at least a dozen ants pouring out of the various holes, all of them close to the group!
[17:49:03] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Aww fuck me with the moon..."
[17:50:33] Spectre flies in and swipes twice at each warrio's head before flying into the sky again
[17:52:49] Rabtar  the batpony kills a pair of warrior ants as they emerge..

[17:57:39] Elektron quickly takes control of the tank and attempts to maneuver away from THEM!!
[18:01:22] Merciful_Devotion levels her heavy machine gun and fires all the can at the nearest ants
[18:05:55] Rabtar  the mare blows a single ant away, causing it to explode...
[18:09:41] Lostshot shoots 5 bullets, one at each different ant around mainly to set them on fire.
[18:12:24] Rabtar  she hits two, then her weapon jams! The ants don't seems to mind the fire...
[18:16:10] Rabtar  the ants pursue! More of them pouring out of the freshly dug holes. The angered critters are fast enough to catch up to the tank! One of the holes calaspes as an absolutly massive, WINGED ant crawls out of the hole. It spreads it's tattered wings and takes to the air after Spectre, trying to grab him in it's huge jaws while those on the tank breath a little fire!
[18:24:13] Rabtar  the tank and all those riding it are set alight! While Spectre is badly bitten by the massive ant...
[18:25:05] Ragebrew yelped as she was lit on fire. She pulled the nectar gland from her ammo cases, wolfing it down with a "Duuuh, cinnamomomony" as her eyes durped out and went a little glassy as she spasmed and twitched rapidly, Omega barking off twice at the huge flying ant. Maw, on the other hoof, growled at sometime tried to lit IT'S stompa on fire. It leapted at the closest ant, doing a flying headbutt.
[18:30:55] Rabtar  the fwuffy mare hits the giant flying ant in the wing, putting a good sized hole in it. The thing don't seem to care much though. While her pets pounces on and absolutely tears it's ant apart...
[18:32:38] Spectre starts chopping away at the elft wing that was shot
[18:34:41] Ragebrew drooled a little around Omega's handle "Duuh git da big 'un."
[18:35:16] Rabtar  he hits the ant twice, cutting into it's wing. But it still can fly. And sadly the batpony slips and drops his sword!
[18:35:16] Spectre flies back down after losing his blade "Need medical attention!"
[18:37:10] Elektron continues to back away from the advancing swarm of ants, despite the large series of groans coming from the tanks transmission
[18:39:05] Ragebrew 's little ball of teef looked as the tank left, and bounced after it, not wanting to be too far from da boss.
[18:40:56] Merciful_Devotion yelps as the flames wash over her, then raises her machine gun to the sky, aiming at the ant queen's left wing. "Get the fuck on the ground!"
[18:47:12] Rabtar  the monster's wing comes clean off! If falls to the ground with a loud thudd, it's head splitting open on impact.
[18:48:24] Lostshot reloads and switches to her rifle again shooting off two rounds at the nearest ants head.
[18:50:26] Rabtar  the mare finishes off a wounded worker ant. The remaining ants back off, having chased the group far enough away for there liking....
[18:51:57] <+Ragebrew> "Weeelp, dats gud." She looked at Spectre all durp eyed and pulled out a roll of magical bandages. "Sthap giddin' 'urt ya git."
[18:57:40] Merciful_Devotion groans a little before collapsing, still smoldering a little from the fire
[18:57:48] Elektron hops out of and crawls under the tank to inspect the damage
[18:58:53] Ragebrew makes a hurpadurp sigh before divvying up bandages to everyone. Even dumb as a gecko she still had the healer's touch.
[18:59:24] Spectre sighs as he downs the potions and bandages "THanks"
[18:59:30] <Spectre> "You ok?"
[19:00:16] <+Ragebrew> "Duuuh, foom bug juice make ya dumb. Foom poof but dumb."
[19:01:58] <Spectre> "Uh.. Right"
[19:02:01] <+Ragebrew> "No more come out. Time go in. Me lead."
[19:03:00] <+Merciful_Devotion> "I don't know about that Rage... Seems more like we were driven off."
[19:03:03] Lostshot falls into the tank and rolls on the floor "Meh. I need armor for this shit!"
[19:03:20] Elektron frowns as he looks at the mechanical parts of the tank, doing what he can for the moment to make sure it remains standing
[19:03:27] <Spectre> "Ugh... I got a bad feeling about this..."
[19:03:56] Ragebrew threw a suit of armor at Lostshot "Wear."
[19:04:14] Lostshot eeps and goes and gets into it
[19:06:54] Rabtar  they survived! Just... the tank is mess and they are getting a little low medical supplies. The ant colony stills lives but there numbers have been lowered. For not dieing yet again the group receive 2400xp...
