  1. What's in the package:
  2. XPUIPC 2.0.0.0
  3. XPWideClient 2.0.0.0
  4.
  5. I assume no liability!
  6. You can use it for your own risk!
  7.
  8. Important:
  9.
  10. Backup first!
  11.
  12. Installation of XPUIPC 2.0.0.0:
  13. 0. Remove the old xpuipc.xpl file and the XPUIPCOffsets.cfg file from the \Resources\plugins folder. Remove the old xpuipc.ini, xpuipc.log and XPUIPC.txt from the root X-Plane folder.
  14. 1. This is now a fat plugin. It's everything in the XPUIPC folder (XP9 32bit, XP10 32bit and XP10 64bit). Just take the entire folder and drop it into the \Resources\plugins folder of X-Plane. DON'T make an own folder structure or change the XPUIPC folder.
  15. 2. Edit the server address in the XPUIPC.ini file, located now in the XPUIPC folder, first. Put in the IP address of the PC where X-Plane/XPUIPC is running: (e.g. Server Address = 192.168.1.20).
  16. 3. If you have a customised XPUIPCOffsets.cfg file put it into the XPUIPC folder now.
  17. 4. Start your X-Plane version now.
  18. 5. If it is loaded please go to the plugins menu on the right and check if there is a menu item XPUIPC. If it is there everything is fine. In the XPUIPC menu you can check under "XPUIPC Version and Info" which version it is and who is connected via IP.
  19.
  20. Version highlights:
  21. - It is now for XP9 and XP10 32/64 bit
  22. - Many improvements for our cockpitbuilders, thanks for the feedback!!
  23. - We have a pushback now via offsets. You can adjust the speed in the XPUPC menu
  24. - You can control XSquawkbox VATSIM plugin via offsets (from 0x10000 above)
  25. - Many new offsets complete list comes if documentation will be ready (soon)
  26. - etc.
  27.
  28. Installation of XPWideClient 2.0.0.0:
  29. 0. The client is new please delete the old one.
  30. 1. Put the XPWideClient folder onto your client PCs if you have one or more.
  31. 2. Edit the XPWideClient.ini folder:
  32. - IP Address of THIS PC = 192.168.1.60 => Put in the IP address of the PC WHERE XPWideClient IS RUNNING.
  33. - IP Address of server = 192.168.1.40 => Put in the IP address where X-Plane is running.
  34. 3. Start XPWideClient. It should connect to XPUIPC. You can see on the screen what it is doing.
  35. 4. Check if it is not connecting:
  36. - X-Plane running ?
  37. - Cable connected ?
  38. - IP address of server wrong ?
  39. - IP address of PC where XPWideClient is running wrong ?
  40. - Check your firewall ! Disable it and look if it is connecting.
  41. 5. WLAN seems to be not so perfect for the connection. Please use LAN with 100 Mbit minimum!
  42.
  43. Version highlights:
  44. - Redone the interface between X-Plane and XPWideClient. Its is now smooth and fast.
  45. - You can do logging of offsets on the client (see in the XPWideClient menu, if you click once it logs if you click again it stops.) At the moment the check is missing.
