  1. [3:46 PM] <jarandhel> I realize this advice is not solicited and may not be appreciated, but it might be a good idea not to allow others to work on your systems astrally unless they know how to perform such work in the real world. I'm not saying that's definitely what's caused this, but I think it's a possibility. Just some advice, feel free to take it or leave it.
  2. [3:48 PM] <kyox> I ttotally agree wwith the firt part bbut I don't think it is mmy squishes ffault. Ththe person I'm wworking with hhas experiennce, and mmore with mmy personal system.

  4. [3:49 PM] <jarandhel> I was thinking of Hyratel, since he specifically referred to his upgrades to you the other day as "handwavery" and said he didn't know how to do this in the real world.
  5. [3:50 PM] <kyox> Oh we ffool around a llot but he ddoesnt have that kind of REAL access tto my system.
  6. [3:51 PM] <kyox> More llike...ththough exper riments?
  7. [3:51 PM] <kyox> Thoughht*
  8. [3:51 PM] <jarandhel> That's good to hear, actually... made me feel a bit like I was listening to someone talk about performing surgery without knowing the basics of anatomy. This current discussion makes me feel like he's trying to troubleshoot a desktop pc more than a cybernetic organism. He hasn't even thought to ask if the memory-space you can't access currently is organic or inorganic.
  9. [3:52 PM] <kyox> Hhah I thought the ssame thing acttually
  10. [3:52 PM] <kyox> I'm used tto people th thinking I'm nnot organic at all though
  11. [3:52 PM] <jarandhel> *nods*
  12. [3:53 PM] <kyox> But nno...very ffew are allowed to act tually touch th hings in my system. I llearned that.
  13. [3:54 PM] <jarandhel> I'm very, very glad to hear that.
  14. [3:55 PM] <kyox> I ha ave been doing this ssort of work for llonger than it ap ppears, heh.
  15. [3:56 PM] <jarandhel> *shrugs* I just ran into you recently, so I had no way of knowing.
  16. [3:58 PM] * kyox nnods
