While Primer and Keen rested and recovered, Karina began to put her plan of creating a new settlement into motion. As well, Desert Storm put down a high end order with the weapon makers at Ironshod, and Lily finally admitted to Karina about her desire to use a gun to help protect the ones she cares about

[13:20] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 We rejoin them now as they head towards Tenpony Tower in search of some answers. In particular: Will there be any steel Rangers waiting to ambush us at our destination? And also: Where can we find the provisions we need to start rebuilding the Stable?"
07[13:22] * +Primer trudges along, aching and worn. Primer's good mood from her recent purchace is long gone, and she feels irritable and moody. "Guh..."

07[13:23] * +Desert_Storm floats along lazily, not in a hurry really. The thought of her recent order was buzzing around her head, and she was doing her best to be visibly excited.
04[13:23] * +Fire_Lily is still feeling kinda awkward from her encounter with Karina. She still won't openly say anything to the others yet, though. Especially Keen, because she knows he'd flip. She just follows quietly.
07[13:24] * +Keen keeps pace up front. He feels tired and drained, but driven, violently driven. He was also wondering why the hell robots were attracted to his marefriend, but that's something else entirely.

07[13:26] * +Desert_Storm thinks walking is lame. Floating is way better. She is a leaf on the wind, watch how she soars.

[13:28] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The group follows the Celestia Line back around to it's junction at the main entrance to Tenpony Tower. They are once again greeted by the 'No Zombies' sign painted in big, bold letters on the steel gates.
07[13:28] * +Primer keeps walking because that's pretty much all that she ca- "Lily. Can you come over here a second."
07[13:30] * +Fire_Lily looks to Primer and trots closer. "Yeah?"
07[13:31] * +Primer shows her Gast Gun to Lily. "Think you can help me reload to a different type of ammo when we come close to Ranger territory?"
04[13:32] * +Keen waves at the guards again. He was starting to get their names down, they went back and forth between Tenpony enough. He did his usual strip-down, making sure that Kar was painted up and hoofing it to her before they got too close to the tower a while before. It had almost become routine.
15[13:32] * +Karina is most definitely not getting painted up. "I think I might stay out here with Wraith."
07[13:33] * +Fire_Lily looks at it hesitantly. "Uhh... how do I...?"
07[13:33] * +Keen cocked an eyebrow. "All... right. Could you at least come inside if I call for you?"
04[13:34] * +Desert_Storm gives the guard with Kar's manestyle a funny look. With a shrug, she heads on inside past Keen.
07[13:34] * +Primer points out for lily how to detatch the magazines and where she stores the extra load.
15[13:35] * +Karina "Yeah... I can if you need me."
07[13:36] * +Fire_Lily nods. "Just... tell me when."
04[13:36] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The guards process Keen and Storm and whoever else was going inside rather quickly, it being routine for them as well. The Guard with Kar's mane style seems to wonder why she wasn't there.
07[13:36] * +Primer nods. "Sure. I might get an automated feed later on, but that costs caps." She gives Lily a tight hug. "Thanks Sis."
07[13:38] * +Primer walks up to the Guards ponies. "Is there anypony in there that sells ammo?"
07[13:38] * +Desert_Storm doesn't like being processed, no matter how often it happens.
15[13:38] * +Karina takes all the weapons given to her for safe keeping then goes over and chills with Wraith outside the tower.
04[13:39] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The Guard with Kar's mane nods to Primer; "Yes, we have a couple merchants who supply the internal security, as well as the constabulary office. However, we still need to ask you to remove your battle saddle before entering."

07[13:40] * +Primer sighs and rolls her eyes. "Sure, no problem." She works her way out of the battle saddle and hoofs it and her munitions, apart from holdout weapons, to the guard at the checkin. "You coming Lily?"
07[13:41] * +Keen checks up on Dr. Helpinghoof first. He would know where the DJ is and he was wondering if he made headway on the Dragon Blood project.
07[13:41] * +Desert_Storm isn't sure why she's here exactly. Considering she didn't meet the DJ the first time, this might be a good to do that.
07[13:42] * +Desert_Storm also totally has her 5.56 pistol. She doesn't expect to use it, though.
07[13:42] * +Primer starts shopping and does so off camera because she cant be arsed to rp it.
[13:42] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Dr. Helpinghoof is in his clinic. He smiles when he sees Keen; "Ah, hello again. Wasn't expecting to see you again so soon. You working on taking up residence here perhaps?"
07[13:44] * +Keen shrugs. "I already have a place up on the 23'rd floor." He was pretty sure he wouldn't believe him if he told him how. "Hello again. I was wondering two important things. First, did you make any progress with the blood, second, I need to speak to the DJ again."
07[13:45] * +Desert_Storm might poke around and try to find some security ponies to chat with about finding ammo for her new .50 while Keen does science stuff.

Topical use can treat or prevent burns, it can be made into a powerful stimulant. It can be used to temper metals, and adhesive if treated properly. It's very versatile stuff. As for the DJ, I just saw him this morning. He was in for a checkup regarding his heart condition."

07[14:04] * +Primer lays four bottlecap mines on the counter. "These should cover the cost. Unless you are as squeamish as the last fella I tried to barter with."
07[14:05] * +Desert_Storm waits by the elevator for whenever the doctor was done talking with the other doctor. She cleans her glasses or something. They needed a little shine before she met the DJ.

07[14:10] * +Keen restlessly plays with his hooves. "I don't know. I got a feeling." He can't help but chuckle lightly. "Besides, it always gets a little weird around me, remember?"

07[14:13] * +Keen frowns slightly. "We talked to a bear a week ago." He mentioned flatly.
[14:14] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Storm and Keen take the elevator up to the Athenaeum level, where it opens onto the lobby. Inside, they can see a somewhat older buck sitting and reading in a chair with an old magazine. He looks up as he sees the pair of pegasi enter; "Oh hey, it's you guys again. Wait, where's the zebra? I thought she'd be with you."
07[14:15] * +Desert_Storm steps inside. Now it was her turn to frown.
[14:17] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The green buck gets up and trots over to Keen and Storm. He looks a little frail and is starting to show grey in his mane. "Nice to see you again though; you two weren't as talkative as the zebra and the ghoul last time."
04[14:18] * @Wraith` is persumably not near the guards outside so he could converse with his zebra striped partner without fear of revealing his ghoulish status. Turning his head to Karina he asks, "Remind me again why exactly we came back to this place?"
15[14:19] * +Karina sighs. "DJ would have information on Ranger patrols... also know where to get parts for the Stable."

I was off on business. I was wondering if we could bother you about some information.  Namely, Steel Ranger patrols and where to get replacement parts for a sunlight talisman."

[14:22] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The DJ blinks; "Um... does this have anything with what you were asking about the water talisman before? How did that go by the way? I saw you guys go in and out, but I wasn't sure what all happened inside."

04[14:24] * +Primer nods and exits Tenpony, saddling up when she reaches the gatehouse and retrieves her newly aquired .44. Primer and Lily meet up with Wraith and Karina soon thereafter.
07[14:24] * @Wraith` goes, "Ahhhh.. Right." he then shifts and says, "Not that I really want to or anything, but why aren't we inside? Not in the mood for high society living?"
07[14:24] * +Desert_Storm doesn't like being constantly watched by this buck either. She nods, not saying anything. She didn't want to think of the Stable too much.

07[14:28] * +Keen didn't like thinking about the Stable either. Seeing his marefriend splayed out like that in front of him? That horrified expression on her face? That... That didn't really feel like a victory. He averted his eyes to the side. "... It worked. We have the talisman. In order to resussitate the trees, though, we need light. Sunlight. Do you know where I can find one?"
07[14:29] * +Desert_Storm adds, "We only have a few days to do it."
07[14:29] * +Fire_Lily listens in on the conversation
15[14:29] * +Karina nods at Primer. "Yeah." She looks up at Wraith`. "Keen is the one that needs to know about the stuff. As for their living... yeah... I've had just about enough."
[14:30] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The DJ blinks; "Wait, you actually... That's wonderful. Um... as far as I know, the Stable's didn't use talismans for their light sources. It was a spell passed down from one Overmare to the next. As for..." The buck is cut off as a door on the upper level of the lobby opens, admitting a much younger unicorn stallion with the same coat and similar features to the older buck, but with a bright orange mane instead.
07[14:31] * +Desert_Storm turns to face the newcomer. She looks him over from behind her shades.
07[14:31] * +Keen looks at the new figure in the doorway. "Erm. Hello. Relative of yours?"
07[14:32] * @Wraith` looks back to Primer and responds, "Should be." noticing the .44 he looks at it from his position before looking back to the zebra after hearing her speak and replies, "Yeah. You and me both."  the ghoul then sits down and pulls out his old combat knife, sharpening it on his whetstone.
[14:33] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The younger unicorn buck smirks at Keen and Storm; "His son actually. Hey dad, why don't you let me take it here. I think this group has earned a little trust." He trots down the stairs to meet the others. He looks to be only about thirteen. "Nice ot meet you, I'm the real DJ P0N-3."
07[14:33] * +Primer holsters her gun at her leg and lays down on the concrete overpass... or whatever. Her joints hurt terribly from the long walk, and she felt abysmally ill.

[14:46] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The Buck then boots up a monitor with some non-current footage of the Bucklyn area; "Any specific part of Bucklyn?"
07[14:46] * +Keen suddenly has one /hell/ of a headache. It got worse whenever he was exposed to the camera array. Oh, it was genius, don't get him wrong. But after the brunt force of a realization like that, it wasn't exactly something he wanted to throw onto the brain fuck array. He had to make sure. "... Do you keep records?"

07[14:46] * +Fire_Lily gives Wraith an odd look.

"Train Stations..." she says quietly, trying not to think about the fact that this buck could see everything... not even the Enclave had that kind of omnipotence, as far as she knew."

[14:51] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The buck looks around the bucklyn footage until he finds the Celestia line terminal; "I think this is what you're looking for. Looks like you're in luck. The Rangers have been pulling their operations inwards towards Stable Thirty-Four. Should be no trouble, from the Rangers anyways."

15[14:53] * +Karina shakes her head, still laying on her back and relaxed. "No, don't."
[14:54] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The DJ shakes his head; "Don't go there; that's Steel Ranger Central. At least for the Manehattan chapter. Base of operations, home to their presiding Elder, and where most of them are presently congregating. I'm still trying to figure out what they're up to."
07[14:54] * @Wraith` shrugs and shifts slightly to get into a more comfortable position and continues to hum the same song. However instead of humming just a simple string, he seems to hum more parts of it.
07[14:55] * +Primer starts to hug Lily painfully tight as her body language betrays her nigthmare.
07[14:56] * +Desert_Storm nods. "Thanks, I'll be sure to avoid it. Stables are too... cramped anyway."
15[14:57] * +Karina listens to Wraith's song and just swishes her tail a bit. It was nice. All music was nice, really.
07[14:58] * +Fire_Lily gives a surprised squeak. She tries to comfort Primer as best she can.
07[14:59] * @Wraith` finishes the song and turns to see Fire_Lily squeaking, looking at the filly slightly surprised he asks, "You alright?" then looks as Primer is hugging her fairly tightly. He gently nudges Primer to waken her.
[14:59] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The Dj smirks and nods; "Got that right. However, if your zebra friend has her way, she might start up a brand new settlement in what was Stable Thirty-Two. Speakign of which, I don't suppose you have more details about that do you? Now that I know you guys can get thigns done, I'm willing to lend a hoof."
07[14:59] * +Keen rubs his temples. "Okay, okay. I should be asking, where can we find someplace that has that spell?"
07[15:01] * +Primer startles awake, her face is confused and scared. "I..." She hugs Lily again, hiding her tears in the fillys neck.

07[15:03] * @Wraith` is pretty bad at consoling others. He reallly isn't sure exactly what to do. Uneasily he reaches over in a unsure manner and gently pats Primer's shoulder with a hoof.
07[15:03] * +Desert_Storm doesn't actually know if we have that. "We'll keep that in mind."
07[15:04] * +Keen frowns and clenches his hooves together. "We do. I'll send you the information, but I don't think we got more than that." He reached up to his Pipbuck and plugged it in and sent the text scroll.
07[15:04] * +Primer flinches at Wraith's touch, but doesn't move away, she just focuses on calming herself.
07[15:05] * @Wraith` stops patting Primer and just gives a small sigh. He just resumes sharpening his knife.
[15:06] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The DJ smiles at Keen; "Thanks; I'll keep an eye out for you. As well, I might be able to get some other help committed to this Stable Settlement project; I've got some connections. However, would you be willing to look into something for me?"

07[15:21] * @Wraith` looks at his aged combat knife and the small etchings on the hilt that has two words. Looking at it with a slight grim look, he puts it away and looks up to the sky... clouds... lots of them of course. Just nothing but clouds...
07[15:21] * +Primer sniffs a few times and just rests there, not daring to go back to napping, in case she has another nightmare in front of everyone.
07[15:22] * +Fire_Lily takes out one of her Daring Do books, opening it to where she left off. "You wanna read with me...?"

07[15:27] * +Primer doesn't want to get up just yet... "Well..." She makes a 'go on' motion with her hoof.

04[15:28] * @Wraith` blinks and looks up to Keen and Desert_Storm. Wordlessly, he gets to his hooves and shakes off the dust. Looking down to Karina, he offers a hoof to assist her back up.
15[15:29] * +Karina gets up with Wraith's assisstance then blinks and looks at her pipbuck when it beeps.
07[15:30] * +Keen sighs. "Okay. So the system doesn't work on individual talismans. It works on an imprint and spread set-up. We replace the talismans with blanks, somepony casts the sunlight spell on a talisman, then it imprints on the rest of them after a little while. We can probably get the replacement parts in the stable, but we need the spell."
07[15:30] * +Desert_Storm looks to Primer. "Someplace called "Porcelain Oasis."
07[15:31] * +Fire_Lily puts the book away and gets up. "That's... a weird name..."
07[15:32] * +Primer lights up. "Oh, I know that place, grew up there... nasty place but I've seen worse."
07[15:32] * +Keen hung his head. "It's an ironic name, isn't it?" He looks at Primer and blinks. "Um. Do you know why it would all of a sudden go off the map?"

07[15:35] * @Wraith` blinks and looks at Keen. Oh... that's an awesome revelation. As if Primer wasn't traumatized enough by what happened.
07[15:35] * +Desert_Storm crosses her hooves and rolls her shoulders. "The DJ hasn't heard anything from them in a while. He wants us to investigate."
07[15:36] * +Primer 's face looks conflicted. "W-we need to go... now." She had fallen out rather harshly with Flak, but she still cared for him as her mentor. Primer fights her way to her hooves.

07[15:37] * +Keen blinks at his own callousness. He raises his hooves. Oh, shit, what did he just say? "Um, it's probably nothing. They just didn't call in, nopony went through there." Dear fuck, what was happening to him?

15[15:38] * +Karina quickly looks at her pipbuck to see how far away this place is, as well as to see if the Four Stars Station south of Bucklyn was on the way.
07[15:38] * +Keen helps Primer up. Thanks, Wraith. For some reason his brain stopped functioning right. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
04[15:38] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 According the the Pipbuck maps, the entrance to Oasis is actually not far from the Four-Stars Station Karina wanted to stop at. A zoom in shows an open sewer line beneath a collapsed section of the monorail.

07[15:41] * +Desert_Storm nods. "The DJ said that patrols were moving away from it. I'd... I'd feel pretty safe about going."
15[15:41] * +Karina "Good, cause now we don't have a choice."
04[15:42] * +Keen frowns at Karina. "We always have a choice." You'd know that.
07[15:43] * +Fire_Lily gives a curious look at her own brand new used PipBuck. She fiddles with it until she manages to get a map up too.
07[15:43] * +Primer starts walking in the right direction, not even stopping to check if the others are following.
04[15:43] * @Wraith` blinks at Karina, then checks his own pipbuck. Oh these things were so fancy! He looks at the map and looks for the locations they were speaking of.
07[15:43] * +Desert_Storm frowns a little. She wanted to try out her new .50 on the Rangers, but it looks like they'd be leaving before it was in. "I'm going to have to agree with Keen on this one."
15[15:43] * +Karina looks at Keen, glances at Primer, then looks back at Keen. "Place I wanna go and her old home are right next to each other." She looks back at Primer just waking off. "So no, I'd say you don't have a choice."
15[15:44] * +Karina gets up and starts following Primer.
07[15:45] * +Keen pokes at his pipbuck and starts going on towards the location in question. "We always do. That doesn't mean we aren't making this choice." You could've picked up your medical kit. You could've learned better. You could've been a swordpony. Could've left those zebras for dead.
07[15:45] * +Fire_Lily looks up from the PipBuck to notice Primer walking off. She hurries behind her.
07[15:45] * @Wraith` rotates a shoulder and follows after the two mares, patting the grip of his dragon claw spear to make sure it was in it's proper place on his back.
07[15:45] * +Primer mutters to herself as she walks. "What could it be? The sewer lines are mined to high heavens with proximity sensors and APM's... Flak can't have fucked up that badly..."
07[15:47] * +Desert_Storm looks to Keen. Poor bastard... She didn't want to go either, at least not without means of dispatching the Rangers, but she's not sure how much better knowing that she of all ponies is the only one that agrees with him would make him feel. She follows the group silently. She's good at following.
15[15:47] * +Karina "No, Keen. Some things you just have to do. You don't get a choice, you're faced with a situation and just have to follow through."
04[15:48] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The group is able to follow the Celestia line up to the station Keshik indicated to Karina. Beyond that station the monorail had collapsed, the bent and twisted wreckage of an old train lying near an open sewer tunnel.

07[15:49] * @Wraith` asks, "So did the DJ happen to mention where we could find enough replacement parts for the stable door?"
07[15:50] * +Desert_Storm spots something near the entrance to the sewer and moves in closer, looking through her rifle scope. "There's something over here."
[15:51] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 This Four Stars Station looks much like the ones they had been to before. A ticket booth, a help desk with a terminal and a few rusty old benches
15[15:51] * +Karina "Wrait, you need to tell me everything we'd need for that and I can just send him a message..." She stops as she sees the station and flips the hood of her cloak up over her head. "Primer?"
04[15:51] * +Primer looks away from the sewer opening and turns to Karina. "Yes."
07[15:52] * +Desert_Storm narrows her eyes. "Heads up, mines on the ground."
[15:52] <+Primer> ?**
15[15:53] * +Karina "Which do you want to do first? Your place would be quicker, but my place might help us if it comes to the worst."
07[15:53] * @Wraith` looks over the train wreckage and looks slightly despondant. Remembering a time when the vehicles actually worked.
07[15:53] * +Primer stands there, conflicted... "Keen, Desert... how long ago did Oasis loose contact with the outside world?"
07[15:55] * +Keen breathes in deep. "Maybe. Maybe. But I don't think I'm that lucky to be that fated." After an uneventful walk, he didn't exactly expect there to be mines. He floats up above the place. Trains. He'd gotten so used to seeing the world torn apart it didn't even phase him anymore. "Recently. This week."
07[15:55] * +Desert_Storm frowns. Step on it and blow your leg off, see if she cares.
07[15:57] * +Primer wants to go... she really -really- wants to go. "T-there could still be somepony alive down there..."
07[15:57] * +Desert_Storm points to the small disc on the ground. "Primer, you should probably defuse that."
07[15:58] * @Wraith` has already stepped on a rather nasty mine... long ago. Looking to Primer and hearing her words he speaks up, "Then we better hurry then."
04[15:58] * +Primer glares at Desert. "Oh, really? I thought I was supposed to leave it for Kar to step on... I must have gotten mixed up."
15[15:59] * +Karina coughs awkwardly. Yeah, they didn't want to repeat -that- mistake again. It almost got them all enslaved last time. "Sewers it is..."
07[15:59] * +Desert_Storm glares right back. "Well excuse me, Princess." She grumbles something about Primer and going somewhere and fucking herself.
07[16:01] * +Primer walks down the slope and starts to defuse the mines with speed and skill, not botherign to acnolege any comment from Desert_Storm. "Be careful where you poke your heads, there are proximity charges filled with lead shot for anything bigger than radroaches to keep the sewers clear of intruders."
15[16:02] * +Karina walks over and stands next to the Four Stars building while Primer defuses the mines, turns on her EFS, and tries to see if there's anything living inside the building.
07[16:02] * +Keen floats down after his little excursion. "Easy. We're not supposed to be fighting each other. We're big damn heroes, remember?" Yeah, right. Like he believed that. "... I mean, it's no longer about us. What would it be like if ponies listened to the radio, and all of a sudden the DJ has to say that we're dead?"
07[16:03] * @Wraith` responds, "Noted." letting the demo-mare do her work. Following after Primer, but keeping some distance, he responds with a slightly amused tone, "I'm already dead, remember?"
04[16:04] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 There are three red ticks on Karina's EFS, but they don't seem to be moving
07[16:04] * +Keen facehoofs. "For you, re-dead."
07[16:04] * +Desert_Storm folds her hooves and follows in the air. Fuck walking. "Heroes, riiiiiight."
15[16:06] * +Karina huffs. Could be radroaches... could be robots of +10 zebra murderizing. She sighs then turns around and walks back to the rest of the group.
07[16:06] * @Wraith` smirks under his mouth wrappings and says, "Well if we did set off a couple of mines, at least we went out with a bang." Oh you stupid pony.
07[16:07] * +Fire_Lily just kinda hangs a little back from Primer. Didn't wanna distract her while she did her thing.
15[16:07] * +Karina "There's three... somethings... in the station."
07[16:08] * +Primer stands and sighs after having collected the mines. "They expected trouble... see the pattern?" And the mines were hoof crafted by Flak himself... ahh, nostalgia.
07[16:08] * @Wraith` checks his own EFS and looks ahead towards the station, adopting a sneaking stance and going silent.
07[16:08] * +Desert_Storm turns to face the Zebra. That sounded a lot more appealing that a booby-trapped city in a sewer. "Do you want to take a look?"
07[16:09] * +Keen sighs. "Yeah, yeah. But the thing is, it's not about just us anymore. So stop fighting, alright? Save it for them."
15[16:10] * +Karina shakes her head. "It can wait." She looks at Primer. "So... -especting- trouble, meaning nothing's come yet to seal their fate?"
07[16:11] * +Primer looks over the entrance and the ground around it, looking for exploded mines as a sign of intruders.
07[16:12] * +Primer "Mmmmaybe..."
[16:12] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The entrance is free of any signs of intrusion. The mines were untouched before Primer took them.
07[16:13] * +Primer stands back up. "Going to leave a few out here after we enter... in case."
07[16:13] * +Keen looks around suspiciously. "Why's that, sweetie?"
15[16:13] * +Karina glances back at the Four Stars Station and rubs her neck, then shakes her head and looks back at Primer. "Right. Anyway... we don't have all day."
07[16:14] * +Desert_Storm ducks her head and follows. Sewers suck. That is all.
07[16:14] * +Primer shrugs miserably and sighs. "In case the trouble is on its way, and not already inside... I cant tell, Porcelain Oasis has dozens of entryways."
15[16:15] * +Karina gets on the other side of the mines so that Primer can lay them back down.
[16:15] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 This sewer tunnel is much wider than the ones connected to the Stable. It was right in the core of the city after all. If continues inwards for a ways until it reaches what looks like a deliberately collapsed bit of rubble set up as a barricade. There was a pony laying nearby, unmoving, with a guard's armour and a rifle laying next to him
07[16:16] * @Wraith` speaks quietly, "Keep your mines." he pulls out his two bear traps and says, "These will slow down anything that tries to take us from behind."
07[16:17] * +Fire_Lily tries to keep unseen. She doesn't like this one bit.
07[16:18] * +Primer nods. "Okay." She walks up to the stiff and pokes him a few times, trying to remember if she's seen him before.
15[16:19] * +Karina also goes sneaky sneaky and pulls out her new 45. She goes to see what kind of rifle that was.
07[16:19] * +Keen trots inside and follows Primer. Pony. Not moving. Check for signs of life, or time of death.
07[16:19] * @Wraith` places his bear traps down in lieu of the frag mines. Hopefully.
[16:20] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The rifle laying by the guard pony is a simple Varmint Rifle. There's one clip in it and an ammo box nearby. The pony doesn't move at all. He doesn't appear to be breathing

15[16:22] * +Karina just nudged the rifle before Primer goes through and picks it all up. Alrighty then, that's how we're treating it. She hadn't intended on looting it seeing as how this was apparently a town and Primer's old home.
[16:22] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Keen's examination reveals death by natural causes. The pony had suffered cardiac arrest, and showed no other signs of anything. However, he only looks to be in his mid-20's

07[16:23] * +Primer 's face turns cold. "We're collecting what we can use... no use being sentimental... we're here to see what happened. Don't worry about me."

07[16:24] * @Wraith` sneaky-sneaks his way towards the guard and looks at the armor to check for damage.

[16:26] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The Barricade could be climbed over easily enough, buy the way it was set up looked like there should have been more ponies guarding it, presumably with other and possible better weapons than just the one laying there.

No, he would have less color to him. Heart. Cardiac Arrest." He took a deep breath and bowed his head slightly. "The fuck? He's not hurt or anything. There's no sign of poisoning." He looked up. "Mid-20's. He shouldn't be like...
07[16:26] * +Keen ...this!" He looked towards the depths of that cave. "What the fuck went down here?"
[16:27] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The dim lights in the ceiling of the sewer only carry so far, but Keen can see far enough to catch a glimpse of a wider opening. Primer would know this as the main entrance to Oasis proper.
07[16:27] * +Desert_Storm frowns too. She didn't like this one bit. "There were definitely other guards here, so where did they go? Think they got out?"
15[16:27] * +Karina goes to climb over the barridcade.
07[16:27] * +Primer turns her head and barely avoids hissing at Keen. "Keep your voice down, Lover."

04[16:28] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 On the other side of the barricade, right huddled in with her back to it, Karina sees another guard. This one is equally motionless. Her armour is the same as the other guard, but she's carrying a 9mm pistol.
07[16:28] * +Fire_Lily frowns. Yeah. This was weird.
[16:29] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Or would be carrying it if it hadn't fallen out of her mouth onto her lap
04[16:29] * +Primer follows Karina past the barricade. "I almost regret selling my Ten mill... no use crying over spilled milk."
07[16:30] * +Keen wipes his hoof on his face. "Sorry, sorry." He whispered back, turning on his light. He wasn't going to be sneaky anyway. Might as well go for broke.
07[16:30] * +Keen floats over the barricade and checks this pony out, too. Why was this one dead?
07[16:31] * @Wraith` looks at Keen and keeps note that this guard died by something unnatural... well he was assuming judging on the medic's comments. The ghoul follows the group past the barricade and looks down further into the tunnels and sneaks his way to the wider opening.
04[16:31] * +Primer keeps to the sides of the tunnels, then walks over to Karina and hoofs her a bunch of ammo. "Here, you need this more than I do."
07[16:31] * +Desert_Storm follows, keeping quiet. She never had anything important to say anyway.
15[16:32] * +Karina looks at Keen. "Do you really need a light? Are you looking for a fight?" She looks at Primer and accepts the ammo. "Thanks." She crouches down then starts walking slowly down the side of the sewer, keeping a look out.

07[16:33] * +Primer whispers. "That's the main entrance... should be a guards booth there."
07[16:33] * +Keen grits his teeth. "No, I'm just trying to keep my eyes open. I need to-" The same signs. "Okay, one, I can believe is a coincidence. Two? That's... I don't know what that is."
15[16:33] * +Karina nods and continues waking forward, keeping a look out at the guard's booth to see if there were guards.
[16:34] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The sewer widens considerably as the group enters oasis proper. A hollowed out junction of tunnels and tubes that all seemed to congregate in this one spot. The town is built on multiple levels, each level anchored at a certain height lining up with two or more tunnels. There were a lot of ways in and out of Oasis.
07[16:34] * +Fire_Lily is still feeling uneasy. There was a little something else though... She whispers to the others, "...Magic. Someone's been using magic here..."
07[16:34] * +Desert_Storm has everypony's six. Talk to her when stuff needs to be shot, not playing detective.
[16:35] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 There is a booth further in from the outer barricade with another roadblock set up. There are three more guards here, plus a forth inside the monitoring booth. All equally motionless, weapons laying dropped nearby.
07[16:36] * +Primer stops and stands there, staring. "Home..." As much as she didn't care for the place, this was where she grew up. The pragmatist survivor in her kicks in and she starts to poke around for anything she could salvage from this graveyard.
15[16:37] * +Karina lets Primer go and salvage. "So unicorns are shoot on sight..."
07[16:38] * +Fire_Lily is even more uneasy now. This... can't be good.
[16:38] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Echoing through some of the upper tunnels is what sounds like the moaning of ghouls. But they could be pretty far away, given the acoustics down here.
07[16:39] * +Primer lets her grenade launcher stay on her back, right now the explotions couldn't be trusted, not in these cramped confines.
07[16:40] * @Wraith` wonders exactly who came down here and wiped out all of the town using noting so far but magic. Was it a bunch of them or just one particular pony? Oh... Ghouls... well that just made him the primary canidate to look didn't it?
15[16:40] * +Karina "An explosion would kill us all, right? Do you want my pistol in case there's a fight?"
[16:41] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The sewer nexus is wide enough that an explosion wouldn't reflect back on the attacker unless they were standing right next to the wall
07[16:41] * +Keen wipes his face. Magic in the air and unexplained Cardiac Arrests. It wasn't exactly rocket science to find out what happened here. "Okay, okay. This place was hit by unicorns. Cardiac Arrest spell or something did this." He looks at Primer with a sympathetic look on her face. "I'm sorry."
07[16:41] * +Primer shakes her head. "I'm good, just not quiet."
15[16:42] * +Karina "Ah." She goes back the guard booth and Primer and very slowly makes her way a bit further into Oasis, just looking around trying to spot anything of note, her EFS turne don.

[16:43] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 There are bodies everywhere in the city. It looks like everypony was just going about their daily lives... except they dropped dead in the middle of it.
07[16:43] * +Primer didn't let it get to her... not yet. "Don-" She takes a deep breath as she loots the guards. "Don't worry about it..."
07[16:44] * +Primer has her own EFS on, and is itching to try the Sats for the first time. She wanted to hurt something right now.
07[16:44] * @Wraith` looks about and notes how odd this situation looked. He speaks out loud, "Something big must have been used. Look at their positions." he points to the mass of corpses.
07[16:45] * +Fire_Lily keeps behind everyone. She's trying to think of what she knows how to do, preparing herself. Firstly... she casts her spell to make her horn not glow. Her protection spells are up, good...
07[16:45] * +Keen looks around for something he could use to patch up his RGC. Come on, there had to be something. I need it. I don't want to fight heart attack unicorn with an unreliable gun.
07[16:46] * +Primer picks up some rifles and mouthguns, she leaves the leather armor.
[16:46] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Wraith's hoof happens to point to what looks like a mother and her child. The former had groceries spilling out of her saddlebags, and the kid had fallen on his face in front of her.
07[16:46] * +Fire_Lily doesn't look. This was creepy enough as it is.
15[16:47] * +Karina puts her pistol back into her bandoleer, shakes her head, and starts backing up towards Primer and the booth. "This is..."
[16:47] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Everypony that Keen checks, if he checks anymore, has the same story. Cardiac Arrest. Same time within the span of a few minutes.
[16:48] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The place stinks enoguh as it is, it's luck and perhaps a bit of divine mercy that the bodies haven't started rotting yet, contributing to the stench

07[16:49] * +Desert_Storm keeps her rifle drawn. This was turning out to be a very, very bad idea.
15[16:49] * +Karina "I was going to say 'get us killed' based on this view, but yeah, that too."
07[16:49] * @Wraith` looks to the group and says quietly, "I'm going to scout out what that moaning sound is." He then begins to trot is way to said noise.
07[16:49] * +Keen hung his head. This was undoubtedly a trap. It was a trap, and he didn't have the sneakiness to get out of it. "... All of these corpses died at almost the exact same time." He said with a feeling of dread coming up from his bowels. Or vomit. Either one could work.
07[16:49] * +Primer walks silently on. "Just going to check on Flak... then we leave... nothign here."
[16:49] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The moaning noise is coming from one of the upper level sewer entrance tunnels. Wraith only manages to make it out because of the echo down here
07[16:50] * +Desert_Storm could probably fly up and take a look, right? If so, she does that. If not, she's sticking right where she is.
[16:51] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Flak's house is clearly labeled, as he was also the resident munition specialist. The front of his home is similar to a storefront, with various explosive bits and bobs on display for sale or for crafting purposes. There's a door behind the counter that Primer knows leads to his (and formerly her) residence.

15[16:51] * +Karina winces but hesitantly follows Primer. She was not happy about this at all.

07[16:57] * +Primer snatches up the cherry bombs, cant ever have enough of those, and pokes at the mines, if possible she could finish them up... but that could wait. "Rushed.."
[16:57] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 UP where the pegasi and Wraith head to check out the tunnels, they can see that this one is another exit to the city. There seems to be a herd of ghouls passing through a bisecting passage further along. There's a dozen or so of them showing up on EFS
07[16:57] * @Wraith` looks around as he follows up behind Primer. He asks her quietly, "Is this Flak pony, your parent?"

07[16:57] * +Desert_Storm flies up into the maw of this trap. "Damn." she whispers, peeking at the ghouls through her scope.
[16:58] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 One of the ghouls suddenly stops, then the others stop along with it. It turns down the tunnel, facing Desert Storm and her rifle. It lets out a snarl and begins trotting towards her, the rest of the herd turning to follow in its wake.

[16:59] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The door to Flak's home is locked
07[17:00] * +Primer waves Lily up to it. "Please."
07[17:00] * +Desert_Storm raises a brow. Well good-fucking-riddance. "Shit..." then she smiles a little bit. Hell, this was like shooting fish in a barrel. She levels her silenced sniper on the ghoul in the lead and holds her hoof on the trigger.
07[17:00] * +Fire_Lily gives a nervous nod, and starts working on the lock.
[17:01] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Lily manages to open the lock on her second attempt, after breaking a bobby pin. The door swings inwards to reveal a spartan living area, with a half-eaten meal on the table
07[17:02] * +Keen flies very steady. Shit. Shiiit. Ghouls. Lots of ghouls and no silenceable weapon. Shiiit.
07[17:02] * +Desert_Storm mutters to Keen. "Smoke 'em." She fires at the lead ghoul.

[17:03] <+Primer> 7me walks wearily inside, looking for the usual anti-theft measures Flak left in his absence. "Lily, stay out while I check this."
07[17:03] * @Wraith` creeps his way forward ahead of Desert_Storm and takes out 'Butcher Pete'. Poor bastards, he'd give these mindless the peace they deserved and readies himself for the closest one to rush forward within striking distance. Before that though he looks around their current location to see what surrounds them.
[17:04] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Desert Storm's shots immediately drop four of the ghouls with her usual finesse. The others growl and groan and begin to charge towards the group, knowing for sure there was potential food there now. However, they didn't know that the path connected to that pipe comes to an end about ten feet short of where Storm and Keen were floating.
07[17:04] * +Keen pokes at his Pipbuck. Gotta send a message. Gotta send a message. "Desert, get back. Desert, get back."
[17:05] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Keen's Pipbuck complains that it can't get a signal through to the desired location from his present location.
07[17:06] * +Desert_Storm nods and floats back a few feet, never lowering her weapon.
[17:06] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Storm's silenced rifle is mercifully quiet compared to the ghouls, and the only sound from the shots echoes down towards the charging herd
07[17:08] * +Keen taps Storm on the shoulder and flies back a bit.
15[17:08] * +Karina looks up as she hears ghouls screeching. "Crap."
07[17:08] * @Wraith` notices the pegasi flying over an open pit and sees the ghouls just mindlessly rushing towards them... Oh stupid mindless bastards.
07[17:08] * +Primer searches Flak's domicile. Her ears perk at the sound of angry ghouls...
07[17:08] * +Desert_Storm is still moving back. "What? We're fine. Just relax and start shooting."
[17:09] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The ghouls charge right past wraith, who they completely miss sight of... and right over the edge of the platform. All but two of the ghouls go careening over the edge, crashing into buildings and walkways on the way down
07[17:09] * +Keen shakes his head. "No, no. Fly back. I've got a plan, fly back a bit."
07[17:09] * +Fire_Lily waits outside while Primer does her thing.
[17:09] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The last two skid to a halt at the edge of the paltform, right in front of Wraith and well within Keen's shooting range

07[17:10] * @Wraith` introduces the last remaining ghouls to 'Butcher Pete'. Slashing from his stealth position at each one.

[17:12] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The inside of Flak's home seems fairly messy, as though the stallion couldn't be bothered to clean up in favour of more important things. There's a coupel of doors, one that leads to Flak's own room, and the other that leads to the room Primer used to live in
[17:12] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Butcher Pete lives up to his name as the last remaining ghouls are butchered before they know what happened.
07[17:12] * +Primer searches... like she has the last three posts.
07[17:13] * +Desert_Storm punches Keen in the shoulder and smiles as Wraith brutally butchers those ghouls. "And you were worried."
07[17:13] * +Primer then checks the doors.
[17:13] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Inside Flak's room, she find the buck himself, laying over top of something under a tarp. There's a workbench in the room and the bed is shoved to the side, allowing the object to take up most of the small room's floor space.
[17:14] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Her old room is empty but for a guest bed
07[17:14] * +Primer walks over to Flak and turns him over.
[17:15] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Flak is dead. He is wearing what looks ot be a customized flak jacket over a suit of plain leather armour. The pockets are filled with a few grenades, and the mystery object he was working on is still concealed beneath the trap.
07[17:15] * +Keen frantically checks his EFS. Oh this was bad. This was very bad. "If they're here, and If they didn't know we were here yet, they do now."
07[17:16] * +Primer sits down with a heavy thump. "Goodbye... you crazy old bastard..." She eyes the vest, and takes it off of Flak. "You won't be needing this, and you owe me."
07[17:16] * @Wraith` wipes the blood.. ooze.. ichor.. whatever Ghouls bled on the unbloodied rotted coats on the butchered ghouls from his axe. Well at least that took care of that. He would explore further, but he didn't want to get seperated from the rest. Checking the two bodies of the ghouls for loot, then takes anything of worth and heads back down to where he last saw the others.
07[17:17] * +Desert_Storm shrugs. "That's a pretty big if. /If/ they're here, and /if/ they're looking for a fight, then I

07[17:18] * @Wraith` took the bottlecaps. He wasn't a musician so he left the harmonica.
07[17:18] * +Primer then heaves Flak up onto his bed and drapes the blanket over his corpse. "Time to see what this is." She grabs the edge of the tarp with her fingers and janks it away.
07[17:18] * +Keen grits his teeth. "And what's to stop you from having a heart attack, Desert? We can't do this head on. I need you to be stealthy. Find something to hide behind and get there. I'll be bait."

07[17:20] * +Desert_Storm thought that she was stealthy, considering her silencer and what-not. She sticks her tongue out and switches weapons. If she was going to be sitting still, Gasoline Dreams made a wonderful armrest. She aims down the tunnel and waits for whatever Keen was on about.

07[17:21] * +Primer 's eyes twinkles. "Oh..." Oh Flak... you didn't have to. Primer starts to pack the sexy beast up and looks around for any munitions, Flak has to have -some- ammo lying around.
07[17:21] * @Wraith` isn't a mind-reader so he didn't get it. The ghoul goes to the pile of ghouls that fell down to their deaths.

15[17:24] * +Karina thinks Wraith` should be a mind reader. She had wierd dreams sometimes about a place with a bunch of mind readers in it... they were nice.
07[17:26] * @Wraith` blehs... he'd let the pegasi have at them if they were really interested. Feral Ghouls didn't really have shit on them anyway. He also had these weird dreams of a place with a bunch of mind-readers in it too... he had a difference of opinion on the matter. He makes his way towards Primer and the others.
07[17:26] * +Primer mutters. "You couldn't stockpile more than a clip?" She takes a closer look at the GMG. "Oh... oh you..." She gets misty eyed. Flak had been working on installing a high-speed kit into the GMG, and from the looks of it he had just finished.
07[17:27] * +Fire_Lily gets more nervous the longer she waits...
07[17:28] * +Desert_Storm gets comfortable, shifting a little in her position. She wonders exactly what Keen is planning.
07[17:28] * +Keen blinks. Okay. Okay. Light on. Keen wanders in a bit. Tries to find some reason why this place was attacked. He sends out a message to the group of his location. He hoped that they got it. If not, well. It's not like this could be any more dangerous.
15[17:29] * +Karina has EFS and Keen's pipbuck tags, she already knows where Keen is. She sighs as she waits by the door next to Lily and now Wraith too.
07[17:29] * +Primer walks out of the shop, greeting Lily. She was wearing a sturdy vest over her standard Sec-barding. "Lets move." She has finished searching the entire shop, and was ready to leave.
15[17:29] * +Karina puts her pistol back in her bandoleer and looks at Primer. "You okay?"
04[17:30] * +Primer gives Karina a look, one that said that she was definetly -not- okay, but that she was holding up for now.
07[17:30] * +Desert_Storm whisper as loud as she can. "If you see any trouble, duck."
07[17:30] * @Wraith` just loved how useful these pipbucks were! It made finding the others a breeze. He looks at Primer walking out with... jumping jackrabbits another huge fucking gun. He looks on impressed at the hardware.
[17:31] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Down the tunnel where the ghouls came from, Keen finds more tunnels.
[17:31] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The Pipbuck is mapping them as he goes, but he really has no way of knowing which path he should be following

07[17:32] * +Fire_Lily likes that idea. She follows immediately. "Be... careful. I can feel the magic everywhere..."
15[17:33] * +Karina is going to ask what Primer is wearing at a time when they aren't in the middle of a town that had a group heart attack. "We don't have all day..." She gets up and starts to head out the same way they came in. "Where's the pegasi?"
07[17:34] * @Wraith` points to the upper levels and responds, "They were above last time I looked."
07[17:34] * +Primer pines over the fact that the GMG isn't connected to her battle saddle, just hooked on to not fall off. "Sure Lily... lets just get out of here. There's nothing left but corpses." But in one shop... one of the corpses has the marks of a goodbye kiss on his scarred forehead. "Goodbye Flak." She whispers to herself.
07[17:34] * +Keen goes back to the group, using the EFS to guide him to the rest. There they are. He trots down with some trepidation. "I found some more tunnels. I was thinking we could check in those to maybe figure out what happened here."
07[17:35] * +Desert_Storm frowns and gets up. Find some place to hide, he said. There'll be trouble, he said. "Sounds fun." she says, joining him and the others, while taking time to admire her handiwork.
15[17:36] * +Karina stops, furrows her brow, and looks at Keen. "Does it matter? They're all dead. Let's go before we're laying here forever instead."
07[17:36] * +Primer stops and looks fondly at Keen. "Will it be worth the trouble." She looks around herself, at the bodies.
07[17:36] * +Fire_Lily hesitates. She doesn't want to say anything yet, in case they still decide to leave.
07[17:38] * +Keen frowns. "This happened for a reason. If we don't find out why, then it could happen again. And then we'll be back in this situation all over again." He hefts his rifle. The weight was a bit more than usual. "I'd just like to nip this problem in the bud. Right?"
07[17:38] * @Wraith` hmphs and keeps silent for the moment. Somewhat strange they'd let a potential threat survive after wiping out this place. Finding it slightly strange Primer didn't want to avenge the death of her friend... parent... guardian.. whoever this 'Flak' pony was. But... they were on their own mission with time being critical and having virtually none of that.
07[17:39] * +Fire_Lily fidgets a little. "It's... strong. I think I know where it is... but..." She looks at each group member worriedly. "It's dangerous... I... I'm afraid."
15[17:40] * +Karina "Right. And then we'd end up in a fight. And it'd end just the same as the rest of this sight." She waves with he rhoof to all the dead ponies. She looks at Fire_Lily. "You know where what is? And there's a good reason for fright."
07[17:40] * +Primer weighs Keen's words against Lily's... "Wraith... can you connect this thing to me whithout me having to take the battle saddle off?"
04[17:41] * +Fire_Lily hesitates a little before answering Kar. "The... magic source."
15[17:41] * +Karina isn't even going to -try- to question how Lily knows. "Is it a unicorn?"
07[17:42] * +Desert_Storm just sort of watches. She looks at Lily with concern in her eyes. She might not be worried, but if Lily was, then maybe leaving was a good idea. For the time being, she'd just float in the air with her gun, feeling lighter than ever.
07[17:42] * @Wraith` shakes his head and says, "Not here and now while you wear that. We'll need to find a proper work-station for that. As heavy duty as that is, it does have fragile parts to it."
07[17:43] * +Fire_Lily shakes her head a little. "I don't know... I just... can feel the leftover magic. It's that strong..."
07[17:43] * +Primer nods. "Right, there is one in Flak's shop, buuut... "
07[17:44] * @Wraith` responds, "If I remember, we're kind of in a hurry." he then thinks for a moment and asks, "Who is this Flak anyway? Who was he to you?"
04[17:45] * +Keen breathes deeply. He's shuddering. "I don't know. " He looks at Karina. "I don't know, but I have a plan. I can't sneak, but you guys can. I don't have the tools to fix my guns. I'll be bait. Worst comes to worst, I'll administer myself some Buck and buy you all some time to leave. Primer, do you know where those tunnels go?"
07[17:47] * +Primer sighs. "Everywhere? And remember, they're mined to high heaven. That gang of ghouls was probably just lucky, or walking in the wake of whatever cleared this place."
15[17:48] * +Karina looks at Keen like he's completely retarded and should immediately be institutionalized. "That is a plan that will cause us all to die. There's no way I'm doing that, at least not without getting whatever it is for me since it's so close by."
07[17:48] * @Wraith` has his question ignored, but doesn't press the issue on it. He didn't really give a shit either way at this point.

07[17:49] * +Fire_Lily mutters, "If... if you want to find it that bad... I think I can take you to it." She doesn't speak too loud, in case someone hears her.

04[17:49] * +Desert_Storm thinks that Keen's plans usually suck and isn't really bothered by this one. "Kar's right, you know. Maybe... maybe we should just let sleeping dogs lie."
07[17:51] * +Primer sighs. "He's gone, was working on this." She gives the GMG a fond pat. "If nothing else, we ought to at least find out what it was... maybe not try and kill it, just sniff it out."
07[17:52] * @Wraith` looks at Primer and tilts his head saying, "Ah alright. Thought he might be your dad or something with how badly you wanted to come down here." shrugging he says, "Well, seems like everyone except you Keeny boy, wants to skidaddle. I personally could go either way."
15[17:52] * +Karina rolls her eyes. She'd do it for Primer. "Fine." She starts walking back out the way they came in.
07[17:52] * +Keen looks at Desert_Storm, getting rather angry in a hurry. "And do what? Let this happen again without knowing why? I'm not that kind of pony. And fight it as much as you want, I don't think you're that kind of pony, either." He looks at Lily and gets close to her. "Do you really want to do this?"
07[17:54] * +Primer sits down with Lily in a tight hug. "Just point us in the right direction... we're just going for a peek. Nothing dangerous."
07[17:54] * +Desert_Storm shakes her head. It doesn't matter what kind of pony she was, it wouldn't stop her from having a heart attack. "You're an idiot, Keen. But, look at that, everypony's suddenly okay with it, so I am too. Lead on."
07[17:54] * +Fire_Lily shakes her head. She most definitely didn't want to do this. "But if you... really want to... I will..."

04[18:03] * @Wraith` groans loudly and says, "You changed your mind then..." shaking his head he says, "Well I'm going to go tell Karina the change of plans, since she's heading off... on her own." Grahh so much indecisiveness! He rushes after the zebra mare to bring her back to the party. He really hoped she didn't step on his bear traps from earlier.
07[18:04] * +Desert_Storm shakes her head and calls after him. "I've been in it since I convinced myself that coming down here was a good idea in the first place."
07[18:04] * +Fire_Lily is going slow enough for anyone to do whatever before we get there.
15[18:05] * +Karina looks back down the tunnel when she gets back outside. She really thought they'd follow her. Oh well. She'd go into the station, get the thing that was there for her, then catch back up real quick, hopefully before they found whatever it was that caused all that death.
[18:06] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Lily leads those following her to a tunnel on the lowest level of Oasis. It leads out for a ways before joining a much larger service tunnel with concrete landings and periodic doors leading to maintenance areas.
07[18:07] * @Wraith` gathers his two bear traps along the way and persumably catches up with the zebra mare, using his pipbuck to follow her tag. These were the best things to find! Seriously!

15[18:08] * +Karina blinks at Wraith`. "Oh, hey. Let's be quick about this." She sneaks up to the building and tries to look in a window.

Well he couldn't allow her to go off on her own could he? Shaking his head disapprovingly, he adopts his sneak stance once more and follows after the zebra mare.
04[18:10] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Through the window Karina can see what looks like a trio of raiders. They're not quite as filthy as usual though, and the graffiti inside the station is lacking. There's a terminal on a reception desk and a ticket booth.
07[18:10] * +Primer shakes her head and sits there for a while as eveypony walks off.
15[18:10] * +Karina smirks and pulls back from the window and looks at Wraith`. "So what, they're leaving it alone now?"
07[18:11] * +Fire_Lily pauses for a moment when she reaches the larger tunnel. She walks around a bit, seeming like she's looking for something.
04[18:12] * @Wraith` looks at the trio of possible raiders.. finding the lack of graffiti odd. Didn't mean they weren't raiders, they were probably just smarter and more lucid than the strung out, chem addicted versions. Looking back to Karina he whispers, "No, they're going down further to find out what happened... you're not going back either way though are you?" his expression is an unamused half-lidded one.
07[18:12] * +Desert_Storm tightens her grip on her Sniper Rifle, that she totally swapped out while she was following. She's in no hurry, as usual.
07[18:13] * +Primer continues to rub at her temple. "Fuck... I..." Moving was getting hard.. even though she had asked Lily to show them the way, she didn't really care... she so didn't care, about any of this. Primer took ove long look at her hoof and curled up on the ground where she was.
15[18:14] * +Karina raises an eyebrow. "Yeah I am. I'm not going to let them go up against something that can kill them with magic on their own. But I'm -not- going into something that deadly without whatever it is the stars put here for me, even if that item isn't known. It could be the difference between life and death."
07[18:14] * +Fire_Lily stops when she gets to a door a short distance away. "...Here. It's here." She turns to the others, and notices that there's a distinct lack of half the group. "Where... where is everyone?" Oh no. This is not good. At all.

[18:25] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The figure in the middle takes a shot right throught the eye and slumps the the ground, dropping his inhaler. The other two are peppered in the chest and legs. They struggle to get to their hooves, badly wounded. They seem to be pulling themselves towards the exit
07[18:28] * @Wraith` blinks and swaps back to 'Butcher Pete'. Didn't expect any of that it seemed. There could be more though. Sneaking his way over to the wounded two ponies, he stops infront of them and examines them further, having a cold, impassive look on his face.

07[18:35] * +Desert_Storm moves to help steady Primer. She needed everypony out of her an hour ago.
04[18:35] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Karina's search of the station finds her the terminal on the desk, which was obvious, but beneath the reception counter, tucked away in the shadowy corner, is a footlocker
15[18:36] * +Karina ignores the terminal and heads straight for the footlocker.
07[18:36] * @Wraith` contemplates if he should just end this bucks life or keep him alive for Keen to look at. His own choice was apparent to him, but his group members would no doubt object. He searches the buck for any weaponry and ammo.
[18:36] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The footlocker is locked, and  there are scrapes around the lock from where it looks like someone previously tried to get in
07[18:36] * +Primer stands, slowly, and only at Keen's promting. She needed rest, and time, something that wasnt available to her. "I'm... I'm leaving, whatever's here can have this shithole."

Taking the 9mm pistol, he looks the buck over and groans... he would /never/ hear the end of it if he just let this poor sap die. Begrudingly, pulling out a healing potion, he feeds it to the wounded stallion and says, "Sit the fuck still and don't do anything stupid."
07[18:40] * +Desert_Storm turns. Well, that's what she gets for trying to separate those two. Whatever. She goes for the exit, to the station.

07[18:44] * @Wraith` turns back to the buck and says with squints, "Attacking us will get you killed. Fighting us. Bad. Got it?" he sets the crippled stallion down and goes over to the lockbox the zebra mare had, whipping out his dragon claw knife and gripping it with a fetlock.

07[18:50] * +Keen looks up to Primer. "I have to save my soul. You do too."

07[18:54] * +Desert_Storm trots closer and pins him down with a hoof and nods. "Alright."
07[18:56] * +Keen stood there, hyperventilating for a moment. "... No. No, no. No. I'm not doing this. What did this is right there in there, I'm not letting it have the chance to get away and do this again and again. Your pain does /not/ give you the right to let this thing get away scot-free." He turns and begins to trot down the tunnels where Lily pointed the way. "If you're not going to save your soul,...

[18:57] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The chem head shakes as he pulls out a pouch of caps with his teeth and tosses them on the floor in front of him

07[18:57] * @Wraith` trots over to the chem head and takes the pouch of caps, saying, "Good, this will pay back my potion."
07[18:57] * +Primer sighs... "Fine." She unslings her grenade launcher, loades a high-ex into the chamber, and fires, aiming to collapse the tunnel ahead of Keen.
[18:58] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The addict nods and attempts to stand back up, looking toward the exit desperately
07[18:58] * +Desert_Storm lets her hoof off of the poor buck and shrugs. "Get the hell out of here." She turns to Wraith. "How much?"
07[19:01] * @Wraith` pulls out the nearly worthless 9mm pistol and gives it to the addict, then stares at the pouch of caps thinking hard... what did these ponies do other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time? They didn't even act like raiders... just strung out junkies. He looks at Desert_Storm for a moment, then looks back to the addict and says, "Hey. These caps? I want you to spend them on something else other than chems."
[19:02] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Primer's explosive arcs down the sewer tunnel and explodes, mangling the pipe and collapsing some of the concrete. It blocks off most of the way forward
[19:03] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The addict nods vigorously and takes the capes and gun, then scrambles out the door and away
07[19:03] * +Desert_Storm blinks. Moooooooooooron. "Great. I'll bet you a thousand caps that he's going to go find some Med-X to OD on."

07[19:05] * @Wraith` snorts and says, "Probably. But they didn't deserve to get shot up. They weren't any threat." he looks towards the exit as the chem head leaves for a moment, then asks, "So... why are you here? Did you all change your minds... again?"
07[19:05] * +Primer stands straight. "Keen, I've got a second round ready, either you get your feathered flanks back here and stop acting like you're the savior of the wastes, or I'll take my chances and collapse the rest of the tunnel."

15[19:06] * +Karina sighs. "Alright, let's go find Lily and open this box."
07[19:07] * +Keen is far beyond the realms of reasonable thought. He's thinking that everypony's finally gone against him. The whole world is against him. Everypony left, everypony left him alone, and even now his loved one is betraying him. He just up at her, with the same broken look he had back in Hovelhoof. "... I can't do that. This whole thing is my mistake."
07[19:07] * +Desert_Storm frowns. "Primer was freaking out, and so was Keen, last time I checked. I have /no idea/ what's going on, but... But yeah, I guessed I changed my mind."
07[19:09] * +Primer yells. "THE FUCK IT IS!" She takes a step forward. "That thing killed dozens of ponies without breaking a sweat... what the fuck do you think that you'll do against it. MAke one move towards that hole, and I'll fire. I'll take the chance of hitting you with the shockwave if it makes you see reason. That thing... or me."
07[19:10] * +Fire_Lily squeezes her eyes shut. She's lying there, shaking. "S...stop... please..."
07[19:11] * @Wraith` facehoofs and groans loudly saying, "Let's go get them then..." he then proceeds his way towards back to Primer, Keen, and Fire_Lily, trotting in a quick pace, throwing all pretenses of stealth out the window for the moment.

[19:16] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The running trio find Keen, Primer and Lily huddled in the tunnel from earlier, the collapsed section visible a ways down. Primer still has her rifle out
07[19:16] * +Desert_Storm takes a moment to piece the puzzle together and concludes with, "What the fuck happened here?"
07[19:16] * @Wraith` gets on his hindlegs and spits the axe into his fetlocks going into a battle stance and asking wide-eyed, "What the fuck is going on? Are you alright?"
15[19:17] * +Karina just stands there. She didn't want to be redundant.
07[19:17] * +Primer doesn't break eye contact with Keen as the rest enters. "Stay. Back." She tells the trio.
07[19:17] * +Keen looks her dead in the eye. "If you're going to do it, I'm not going to be in the shockwave. I'm going to be in the middle of it. You're going to regret this for the rest of your life if you leave this thing be. I helped make the wasteland. I'm going to help clean up my mess." He didn't move, but he knew what he was going to do.
07[19:18] * +Desert_Storm does as she's told. The crazy psycho bitch with the grenade machinegun can shoot her bleeding heart coltfriend in the back if she wants to. "S-sure..." she says, taking a few steps back.
07[19:19] * +Fire_Lily is still shaking. "Please stop..."
04[19:19] * @Wraith` looks on bewildered and just gives Karina and Desert_Storm a look of complete surrealism. What the fuck?
15[19:21] * +Karina shakes her head, having no clue what was going on either. "Primer... what?"
07[19:21] * +Primer doesn't buy it. "Keen, stop lying to me." She lifts her rifle and aims for the hole, stress and tears has twisted her face to something unrecognizable. "Stop takign on every sin in the entire wasteland, you are -not- responsible... nopony can be responcible for something like this..."
07[19:21] * +Desert_Storm shakes her head. She wasn't going to touch this situation with a thirty-foot pole. She returns Wraith's "seriously, what the fuck?" look.
15[19:23] * +Karina sighs. "This again?"
04[19:24] * @Wraith` blinks. Really? Putting his axe away he looks at Karina and asks, "Again? What these two make it a habit to point fucking weapons at each other?"
15[19:24] * +Karina "No. Keen's issues."
07[19:25] * +Desert_Storm shakeshakeshakes her head. Honestly, if anypony was going to give Keen a reality check, Primer was the one to do it. With high explosives. "Yep."
07[19:26] * @Wraith` squints and says, "Primer, Fire_Lily is right next to you and you're in a damn sewer wtih a grenade rifle. Put the weapon down."
07[19:28] * +Primer holds her pose. "Not until he backs away from the tunnel."
07[19:28] * @Wraith` squints harder and says in a slightly angry tone, "You'd risk hurting her just to prove a fucking point?"
15[19:30] * +Karina shakes her head again. "Primer isn't going to hut Lily. Right Primer?"
07[19:30] * +Primer 's eyes flicker from Keen to Lily.
07[19:30] * +Primer 's gaze returns to Keen.
07[19:30] * +Fire_Lily is visibly shaking. She's probably crying a little, too.

He looked her in the eye, and he cried. "......

07[19:42] * +Desert_Storm thinks that running away from your past is fairly easy. You just have to hide your past so far under the rug that you just sort of forget about. When they all finally had their anwsers she heads for the- "Shit!" She jumps a little when the grenade detonates.
07[19:43] * @Wraith` shields his eyes from the explosion.
[19:44] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Keen is thrown back by the blastwave of the explosion
15[19:45] * +Karina runs forward. "Primer put the rifle down!" She heads towards wherever Keen got blasted to.
07[19:46] * +Fire_Lily does the only thing she can think of when she sees Keen get hurt. She runs to him.
04[19:46] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Keen would have been thrown back towards Karina oddly enough; the tunnel is reasonably narrow after the first blast and ther'es only really on direction for the force to travel as the rest of it collapsed
15[19:46] * +Karina checks quickly to see that Keen isn't seriously harmed, then runs to Primer.
07[19:47] * @Wraith` looks and sees the filly is unharmed. He just looks on in disbelief at everything unfolding around him... what the fuck was wrong with this group?
07[19:47] * +Desert_Storm slings her rifle and closes her dropped jaw and heads over to Keen too. These two were going crazy. She doesn't want to point any hooves, but office romances /never/ end well. She bends over Keen and nudges him. "Hey, Keen? Are you alrght?"
07[19:48] * +Primer stands there, rifle hanging by its strap around her neck, and looking shellshocked.
07[19:48] * +Fire_Lily sits next to Keen as close as she can get, and puts a shield around herself and him (And whoever happens to be next to Keen at the moment). No particular reason, she's just not thinking clearly right now.
15[19:50] * +Karina is standing right in front of Primer, just a bit off to the side. "Primer, sit down."
04[19:50] * @Wraith` trots over next to Karina and looks at Primer, silently.

07[19:55] * +Desert_Storm rolls Keen on his side and looks him over. He didn't look too bad, but the fact that he was stupid enough to get himself hurt in the first place still bothered her. She looks to Lily as the shield goes up and takes off her glasses. There was concern in her eyes. She doesn't look like that too often. "Hey, Keen. Can you hear me?"
07[19:56] * +Fire_Lily is afraid. She doesn't hesitate in taking out a potion and making Keen drink.
07[19:57] * +Fire_Lily whispers, "Please be okay, please be okay..."
07[19:58] * +Desert_Storm pulls out a rag and cleans some of the blood off. "Don't worry, he's going to be fine." Physically, at least.
07[20:01] * +Primer 's eyes brims with tears. "I-I-I'm..." She manages to squeeze out before she bursts into hysteric tears, and she covers her face with her forehooves.
07[20:03] * @Wraith` turns away and mutters, "I need a fucking drink..." and trots away from the dramatic scene, trotting up the tunnel only slightly, then pulling out his last cigarette and lighting it. He then begins to smoke the object.
15[20:03] * +Karina hazards slowly and softly trying to put a hoof on Primer.
07[20:03] * +Keen felt like he was swimming. Drowning, more like. Tasted blood. Chemical. More chemical. Ears were ringing. Ear. Ear was ringing. Couldn't see anything. Just a big blur.
07[20:06] * +Fire_Lily nuzzles Keen comfortingly. "Please tell me you're okay..."
07[20:06] * +Desert_Storm looks to Lily one last time before taking a look at Keen's ear. "Well... it's only a blown eardrum... he might not be able to hear clearly for a while." She says, trotting to Lily's side and putting a hoof on her shoulder.
04[20:07] * +Primer doesn't reject the hoof, she instead collapses forwards and buries her face in Karina's chest. Her mangled sobs are largely incomprehancible, and nothing of real value lay in them.
07[20:08] * +Fire_Lily flinches from Desert_Storm's touch. She doesn't really know what to say.

07[20:10] * @Wraith` puffs on his cigarette, then sits on his haunches... on the disgusting sewer floor. Fuck it. Being his last cigarette, he takes small puffs, trying his best to savor it for as long as possible. Thankfully it did clear his mind, allowing him to refect on this moment better.

15[20:12] * +Karina catches Primer and softly tries to bring her down so that they could lay there with Primer's face in Kar's chest. She tries to softly hug and nuzzle the cybermare with a sniffle. Cigarettes, Alcohol, Sensor Modules, scrap electronics, ceramic or metal plates, more spools of wire, spark batteries, magical conducting arrays, explosives, as well as shotguns. Pretty much any form of junk would be fine, but those items he was searching for in partiuclar.
