Weekly Update

1. Work has returned to a nice steady rhythm. My schedule's normalized, my truck has AC again, workflow has stabilized, things are good.

2. My weekend movie/burger adventures have been going great. I've watched 5 movies with my AMC pass thing so far and the burgers have been great. I'll probably start mixing it up on food types. It's been a great way to get out and recalibrate. I didn't mean for it to be some solo personal inspection deal but whatever. The best weekend was still Equalizer 2 followed by Revival and then Red Cow with dp the next day.

3. I continue to play Octopath. I really really love the game. I don't require rpg stories to have ridiculous twists and turns and I don't really care about the whole "trope trope trope" thing. It's well done and doesn't get in the way of enjoying the mechanics of the game. Combat and adventuring are both truly enjoyable. It'll definitely be in my top 10 for the year.

4. Fall gaming is going to be insane. I don't really know how to process it.

5. I bought a new Saturn game to try to speed game. That should show up this week and I'll probably give that a shot while watching Evo this weekend.
