  1.
  2. >This is what you were born to do. What you were bred to do.
  3. >As you and the xenos Farseer trade blows, you feel your blood sing as you embrace the thrill of battle.
  4. >Since you have arrived, you have felt new things, had new sensations, made friendships, fundamentally changed who and what you are.
  5. >But this.
  6. >This was battle. Battle with a hated, alien foe.
  7. >This was what each and every Astartes was created to do, and you delight in it.
  8. >Spin and clash and grunt and roar and strike and bleed.
  9. >You raise your arm as the Farseer lashes out with his blade, catching the incredibly sharp sword in the meat of your arm.
  10. >You lash out with a hammer blow from your fist, and the Farseer tilts his head back, just out of reach of your knuckles.
  11. >A short thrust of telekine power sets him back a foot, but his blade is up and he is advancing on you again.
  12. >Dimly, you are aware of the screaming of ponies and Celestia's maddened roaring, but you put it to the back of your mind.
  13. >You have xenos to kill.
  14.
  15.
  16.
  17. >You lift up your hands as the Eldar advances on you, humming blade still held at his side.
  18. >Warp power builds in you slowly as your rip chunks of marble from the palace wall and floor and hurl it at the xenos seer.
  19. >He ducks and bobs and weaves beneath the oncoming blocks of marble, coming at you slowly but inexorably, like a wave.
  20. >You thrust out with both hands, a spear of telekinetic force aimed right at his chest.
  21. >The psyker catches it on a shield of his own, bowing beneath the weight of your will as he bends his talents against your own.
  22. >You have him now. You will wear down the Eldar and crush him like an a-
  23. >He takes a step.
  24. >And then another. And another, his shield parting your telekinetic rage as if your will was so much water against the force of a mountain.
  25. >Your eyes narrow and you pour more power into the spear of warp-energy.
  26. >And he keeps coming.
  27. "That's not....impossible! No psyker..."
  28. >"Your sorcery is pathetic, mon'keigh. I had walked the stars for centuries when your race was taking it's first steps out of the primordial ooze. Do you really think you have any hope against me?"
  29. >He lifts a hand, and his own will slams into your own, telekinetic power pitted against your own. You falter as his strength begins to crush yours...
  30. >Before a cupcake smashes into his helmet.
  31.
  32.
  33. >"Wha-"
  34. >The Eldar staggers as more cupcakes slam into his helmet.
  35. >"Leave him alone, you meanie!"
  36. >You turn your head and spot Pinkie Pie, party cannon held over one shoulder.
  37. >Her hair is flat and sharp over her shoulders, and her eyes are flat chips of blue ice.
  38. >"I've got your back, Anon! Luna and the others are trying to keep Celestia contained!"
  39. >Your broad smile would have cheered her right back up if she could see it.
  40. >Your most loyal Battle-Brother on this world is a female, pink equine xenos.
  41. "I appreciate the aid, Pinkie. We have to kill him quickly, to free Celestia."
  42. >"Kill? Anon, we don-"
  43. >"You DARE strike me, beast? And with food, no less!?"
  44. >Pinkie yelps as the Eldar's telekine grasp tears her off her feet to float in front of him. He raises his blade, intending to behead Pinkie in one fluid strike.
  45. >You put a stop to that plan when your shoulder-pauldron slams into his helmet, and you knock him on his skinny alien ass.
  46.
  47.
  48. >The Eldar grunts in surprise and pain as your pauldron cracks his helmet and he slams into the ground.
  49. >His sword flies from his grasp, the blade cutting a groove in the marble floor as it embeds itself.
  50. >You roar and bring your fist down on the Eldar's cracked helmet.
  51. >He shouts in his alien tongue, and you find your fist caught in his alien will.
  52. >You struggle to bring your fist down on his skull and end his alien life, but his will is too strong.
  53. >Your shaking arm is forced up and away from his head, and the Eldar rises to his feet, furious. Even as he gets up, you see part of his helmet crumble away, revealing one angry eye behind the wraithbone mask.
  54. >"Your arrogance ends here, ape. Your stain must be removed from this world if it is to be made ready for my people."
  55. >He gestures, and you feel yourself rise into the air, like a puppet on strings.
  56. >Two chunks of marble rise with you, and you watch the Eldar clench his fist.
  57. >The two rocks slam into you with punishing force, grinding your arms against your ceramite sides as the alien tries to crush you.
  58. >"Lay down and die, you filthy savage."
  59. >You struggle to speak as the rocks crush you.
  60. "You....first...you pointy-eared...bastard."
  61. >He tightens his fist, and the rocks grind harder against your sides. You refuse to cry out in pain, even as you watch him raise more rocks.
  62. >There is a flash of bubblegum pink, and you spot Pinkie running at the Eldar, metal gleaming from something she holds in her teeth.
  63.
  64.
  65. >Pinkie growls from behind whatever she's holding in her teeth, and leaps at the Eldar.
  66. >You can only watch in surprise as your friend buries an absolutely massive cake-cutting knife up to the hilt in the Eldar's back.
  67. >He howls in agony and drops you, rocks and all, back to the castle floor.
  68. >The Eldar crumples to his knees, still howling, as Pinkie gives him a good kick to his fresh wound.
  69. "Pinkie, I thought..."
  70. >"We don't kill here, Anon. At least...we aren't supposed to. But carving a cake and carving a jerk just don't seem that different to me."
  71. >If you get out of this alive, you're going to make sure to keep a close eye on Pinkie Pie.
  72. >The Eldar lets out another furious howl, and you sprint towards Pinkie Pie, your intuition telling you what's coming.
  73. >Warp lightning races up and down the Eldar's frame, and the knife is sent hurling from his back, stained purple with Eldar blood.
  74. >Pinkie Pie backs away from the racing lightning as the Eldar staggers to his feet.
  75. >You're close, so close...a little closer and you can kill him before-
  76. >"I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU, BEAST. JOIN YOUR MON'KEIGH MASTER IN OBLIVION."
  77. >Before that.
  78. >The Eldar lifts his hand, and a blast of warp-lightning and telekinesis roars out from his palm at the stunned Pinkie Pie.
  79. >You shout and leap, wrapping PP in your arms as you turn your back to the blast, shielding the pair of you with as much psychic power as you can muster.
  80. >You hope it will be enough.
  81.
  82.
  83. >You have time to reflect that this is the second time you have been sent hurtling over the Canterlot Palace Gardens, and the view is no less beautiful the second time.
  84. >You curl in on yourself to keep Pinkie safe as you slam into the ground, dirt exploding around you on impact.
  85. >The force of the blow drives thought from your head, and you slowly stagger to your feet, registering only pain in your senses.
  86. >Pinkie coughs and shudders as she gets to her hooves beside you. She's bruised and cut from when the pair of you hurled through the castle wall, but she still seems functional.
  87. >You return your attention to the hole you were just hurled through, where, sure enough, floats the Eldar Farseer.
  88. >His hands crackle with warp-light, and you watch as his force sword lazily floats back towards him.
  89. >"Still breathing, mon'keigh? Let us fix that."
  90. >You don't bother with a retort, instead lifting your hand and hurling warp-lightning of your own at him.
  91. >He counters it with a blast of his own power, tossing yours aside with contemptuous ease.
  92. >The Eldar gracefully floats to the ground, walking towards you and Pinkie with a slight stagger to his step.
  93. >"I'm going to enjoy this, mon'keigh. The actions of your pink ally there have doomed her race. I would have been merciful, did you know that? These beasts could have served my kind. Now I am not so kind. I will start with the pink one's friends. I will turn them on each other. The pink one can watch. I will have their ruler burn them all from this planet. Then, when her species lies broken at her hooves, I will release my control, and let her end her own life."
  94. >Pinkie growls at your side, and you watch as she pulls another knife from seemingly no where.
  95. >You let warp magic flow along your limbs until your hands crackle with it.
  96. >There is nothing more to say.
  97.
  98.
  99. >You throw doombolt after doombolt at the oncoming Farseer, desperately drawing power from the warp as you watch the alien bastard predict and dodge your hurled magic.
  100. >The Eldar vanishes in a teleport flash, and you whirl around, raising your arms to parry the blow that you feel is coming.
  101. >The razor sharp witchblade cuts into your arm again, and you cannot help but shout in pain as it cuts to the bone.
  102. >It slides out of your arm as if it were butter, before lashing out again.
  103. >There is a clang of steel as Pinkie's knife meets the blade and shatters, the sharp witchblade slicing through her knife and drawing a thin cut across her snout.
  104. >She yelps in pain and jumps back, the Eldar following her with another series of slashes.
  105. >You lash out with your fist, grunting in satisfaction as it slams into the distracted Eldar's side and he doubles over in pain.
  106. > You roar in laughter as Pinkie leaps and kicks him in the side of the head.
  107. >The Eldar staggers and shouts, dropping his blade, before clenching both of his fists and lifting.
  108. >A telekinetic hand closes on both of your throats, choking you and trying to crush your windpipes.
  109. >The force of his grasp lifts you both in the air, Pinkie struggling to breath.
  110. >You send out a quick telepathic message to your friends. You have a plan.
  111. >"Now, mon'keigh. Now, you and your ally will die."
  112.
  113.
  114. >You and Pinkie both gasp for air, struggling to breath as the Eldar's telekinetic grip tightens on your throat.
  115. "Nnnn..."
  116. >"What's that, mon'keigh? I can't hear you, you'll have to speak up."
  117. >His grip tightens, and Pinkie gurgles in agony.
  118. "Not...."
  119. >"Louder, Mon'keigh, louder! I want your Gods to hear you scream!"
  120. "Today...."
  121. >"WhaAAAAAAAAAARGH!"
  122. >You smile as you hear the rapid beating of pegasus wings, and feel the oncoming headache as Derpy Hooves makes her way towards the three of you.
  123. >The Eldar's psychic grip weakens and you drop to the ground, Pinkie gasping as she struggles to get air.
  124. >Spots fill your vision as you sink to your knees, trying to recover.
  125. >The Eldar, suffering intensely as Derpy's aura cuts at his soul, draws a shuriken pistol from his robe's sleeve, aiming at the oncoming pony.
  126. >His rapidly dimming psychic power is focused on one thing, killing the soulless abomination making it's way towards him.
  127. >Which leaves him perfectly vulnerable as you tear his sword from the ground and lop his hand off.
  128.
  129.
  130. >The Eldar lets loose an insect-like chittering and howling as he stumbles backwards, falling back and clutching his bleeding wrist.
  131. >The hand you removed still twitches on the ground, like a spider. A further reminder of the alien nature of the Eldar.
  132. >You stand above him, breathing heavily, as you heft his slender blade.
  133. "I wonder, alien. Did you foresee this? Did you know that you would be slain at the hands of a 'mon'keigh'? If not, you should have foreseen it when you tried to turn my friends against me. When you enslaved a princess. When you tried to kill one of my closest friends."
  134. >You raise the alien blade above the screaming alien's neck.
  135. "See no more, alien."
  136. >You begin to bring the blade down, when you feel two pairs of hooves on your arm.
  137. >"ANON, NO!"
  138. >You glance down at Derpy and Pinky, the former with her mouth clenched on your shoulder, the latter with her hooves weakly pulling at your leg.
  139. "Pinkie. You know what he did. He'll do it again the second Derpy's not near him. I don't know if your elements will contain him. I have to end his life."
  140. >The Eldar lets out a pained wheeze as it tries to weakly staunch the bleeding. It seems as shocked as much as in pain.
  141. >"Y-you cut my...my hand....Isha...my hand..."
  142.
  143.
  144. >You casually backhand him with the flat of his own blade, sending him sprawling in the dust.
  145. >He howls in further agony as Derpy makes her way over to him, her eyes focused and furious.
  146. >You leave your pegasus friend to work out her frustrations on the Eldar trickster as you turn back to Pinkie.
  147. >"Anonymous. Trust me. I know you want to..to kill him, but you can't. It's not right. Killing pon-people...it isn't right."
  148. >Anger overtakes you.
  149. "Pinkie, did you just see what I saw? Did you see your Princess reduced to a gibbering beast? Did you just ignore him try to kill you and Derpy? Did you forget STABBING HIM IN THE SPINE?"
  150. >Pinkie flinches, and you immediately regret shouting.
  151. >"Anon...listen. I know...I know what it's like to want to...to need to..kill somep0ny. We don't..kill each other...we aren't supposed to...but sometimes...sometimes I just lose it, and I want to. I really, really want to, more than anything else. All the parties, all the sugar in the world won't make that desire go away."
  152. >You pause and let her continue. You remember your silent oath to keep an eye on Pinkie Pie and decide to keep BOTH eyes on her.
  153. >"All that makes that...that urge go away...is your friends. They're what keeps me grounded. And they're what'll keep you grounded, if you let them."
  154. >She reaches up and puts a hoof on your stomach, as high as she can reach.
  155. >"Let us keep you grounded, Anon. You don't have to fight anymore. You don't have to kill anymore. You remember when we first met, and you tried to hit me with those bolt-thingies?"
  156. >You flinch. How could you have forgotten?
  157. >"You don't have to be like that, Anon. Nop0ny in Equestria has to be like that. Put down the sword."
  158. >You drop the blade.
  159.
  160.
  161. >You reach down, and lift the pink, crazy party pony up and give her the most tender hug you can.
  162. >She smiles, and as she does, her mane poofs back up, and she gives you a giant hug right back.
  163. >She understood. Derpy might make you laugh, Twilight might share your thirst for knowledge, and Applejack might share your practicality, but Pinkie Pie understood.
  164. >You were created to kill, in the name of the Emperor, in the name of your Primarch, and eventually, in the name of Chaos.
  165. >Even here, in this place of peace, you could not let go of the urge to slay your eternal foe, the alien Eldar.
  166. >Pinkie understood that urge, and she knew how to stop it.
  167. >You set the party pony down, and she gives you one last knowing smile, before putting her familiar grin back on and hopping over to Derpy.
  168. >You follow her, making your way to the defeated Eldar.
  169. >The alien is sobbing in pure agony as Derpy casually sits on him, doing his best to crawl away from her touch.
  170. >It spots you approaching.
  171. >"Mon'keigh! By the Bloody-Handed One, kill me! End this suffering! I can stomach it's touch no longer! I will do anything you ask! ANYTHING!"
  172.
  173.
  174. >Derpy looks up at you, smiling.
  175. >"Heya Anon! You and Pinkie done having your talk?"
  176. "We're finished, Derpy. Pinkie was just..reminding me of why I'm here."
  177. >Derpy smiles even wider.
  178. >"That's nice."
  179. >The Eldar howls from under her, unable to believe that you're ignoring him.
  180. >Pinkie pokes you in the leg with her hoof, a wry expression on her face.
  181. >You smile down at her before turning back to the Eldar.
  182. "What's that, Xenos? You'll have to scream louder."
  183. >"F-funny, human. Very f-funny. Aaaahgoddess it hurts! End it, please! Just...take my blade...yes, there it is. Pick it back up...and stab it through my skull!"
  184. >You are sorely tempted. But your friends keep you grounded.
  185. "Release Celestia."
  186. >"Of course, of course! Anything!"
  187. >The Eldar concentrates, and you spot bloody tears running from his exposed left eye.
  188. "Miss Hooves, you can get off him now."
  189. >Derpy shrugs and rises as you hear the screams and shouting from the castle stop.
  190. >A nanosecond later, a bright burst of light fills the Canterlot Gardens as a furious Celestia teleports herself into them.
  191. >She turns her purple eyes on the Eldar, still on his back.
  192. >She's still growling, but at least she's sane now.
  193. >You hope so, at least.
  194.
  195.
  196. "Welcome back to the world of the sane, Princess."
  197. >"Hell, Anon."
  198. >She hasn't stopped glaring at the Eldar, who has been unsucessfully trying to crawl away from Derpy.
  199. >You hear shouts from the Palace, and a moment later, Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle barrel out of the hole in the wall, in full daemon-form.
  200. >"ANON, LOOK OUT! SHE'S RIGHT NE-"
  201. "It's alright, girls, the Princess is sane again."
  202. >"Yes. Perfectly sane," Celestia grumbles through clenched teeth.
  203. >"OH."
  204. >The Chaos Crusaders stop at the edge of Derpy's aura, unconsciously giving it a wide berth.
  205. >The Eldar pipes up, hissing in pain.
  206. >"We..we are both ancient, wise creatures, Celestia. I..I am sure there is a way to..peacefully resolve this."
  207. >Celestia's eyes glimmer dangerously, before her face splits into a wide, unnerving grin.
  208. >"Of course, Farseer, of course. Tell me, do you like bananas?"
  209.
  210. >"What does that have to do with anyth-"
  211. >Celestia's eyes glow bright white, and you back away slowly.
  212. >Her grin grows to something truly grotesque, and warp power crackles along her horn, in defiance of Derpy, who has wisely flown off to the side.
  213. >White energy envelops the Farseer, and he screams in horror and confusion.
  214. >"YOU CAN FIND OUT WHAT IT HAS TO DO WITH ANYTHING...ON THE MOOOOOOOOOOON!"
  215. >The white light explodes, leaving a scorch mark where the Farseer once was.
  216. >Celestia's grin drops, and she lets out a sigh, before her usual friendly smile is back on her face.
  217. >She turns to look at you, missing or ignoring the horrified looks on everyone else's face.
  218. >"Well, I feel better. How about you all?"
  219. "Uh...I don't...I th-"
  220. >Pinkie jumps up and puts a hoof on your helmet.
  221. >"Yep, just great Princess!"
  222. >She smiles at Pinkie.
  223. >"Great, we're all...great then. Now...erm, let's see to the castle. I might have left a...mess in there."
  224. >She trots off back towards the hole in the castle wall, and you follow, a bit dumbstruck.
  225.
  226.
  227. "What in Tzeentch's na-"
  228. >"Don't ask Anon."
  229. "But Pinkie, she just-"
  230. >"Hush."
  231. "But..."
  232. >"Ssshhhh."
  233. >You shrug. The hell with it. Ponies gonna pony.
  234. >As you make your way into the castle, you notice that it is mostly empty, the Canterlot ponies having evacuated ages ago.
  235. >Princess Luna lies shocked and burned along one wall, while Twilight Sparkle lies upside down, groaning.
  236. >Celestia rights her faithful student with a bit of magic before moving to her sister.
  237. >"Thank you, everyp0ny, for stopping me from doing...something I might regret. And thank you, Anonymous and Pinkie Pie, for stopping the Farseer. Anonymous, I apologize for ever doubting you."
  238. >You give a shallow bow, still a bit shocked.
  239. >Luna speaks up, shaking her head.
  240. >"Wha-what happened. Where's the Farseer?"
  241. >You raise a hand, put Pinkie stops you with a quick hoof tap.
  242. >Celestia smiles. "Bananas."
  243. >Luna's face grows pale.
  244.
  245.
  246. >Celestia lightly elbows her sister in the ribs, chuckling.
  247. >Luna scowls. "That isn't funny, Tia."
  248. >"I'm sorry, sister, but I couldn't resist. I'd say we could all use a bit of humor right now, couldn't we?"
  249. >Pinkie starts bouncing up and down, a grin growing on her face.
  250. >"You know what that calls for! A pa-"
  251. >"A parade, yes, that'd do nicely."
  252. >"That works too!"
  253. >You and Twilight Sparkle both give looks of surprise and shock.
  254. >"Princess, the castle's still dama-"
  255. "Why would we have a para-"
  256. >"Twilight, Anonymous, trust me on this. After that little...incident with Farseer, my subjects need to see me...healthy. And I think it would be a fine way to reward Anon for his service to Equestria. Why, we might even award him a medal..."
  257. >She muses to herself about parade plans as she trots deeper into the castle, leaving you alone with Derpy, Pinkie, Luna, and Twilight.
  258. >You turn to look at Luna.
  259. "Princess, forgive me. But your sister is insane."
  260. >"Completely, Anon. Completely."
  261.
  262.
  263. >In a faster span of time then you can believe, Celestia has successfully calmed the palace staff and convinced them to whip up a parade for you, complete with your own float.
  264. >Celestia has a wreath of flowers made for you, to, "put the citizens of Canterlot at ease."
  265. >Pinkie's ecstatic, already planning an after-party for the parade's end.
  266. >You demand that her and Derpy join you on the float. To your mind, they had as much to do with stopping the Farseer as you did yourself.
  267. >Celestia and Luna take up positions to either side of you on the float, and it takes off, spearheaded by mares throwing flowers and guardponies.
  268. >Citizens poke their heads from their homes, watching in terror as their rulers approach.
  269. >"Be at ease, citizens! Anonymous of Prospero, Hero of Equestria, has cured us of our malady, and protected us from the cruelties of a terrible villain, Farseer of Ulthwe!"
  270. >Ponies come out of their homes, eager to lay eyes on the "Hero of Equestria."
  271. >Pinkie jumps up, shouting at the crowd as you all pass
  272. >"Three cheers for Anonymous!"
  273. >The ponies give you applause with their hooves, cheering and stomping as you pass.
  274. >Celestia elbows you.
  275. >"Give them a wave or two. It eases them up."
  276. >You lift your arm and wave, wincing as the deep cuts in your arm shift.
  277. >Despite the strangeness of it all, you are enjoying the attention the crowd pays you, the cheering, smiling faces.
  278. >You did not know this as an Astartes, or even as a Chaos Sorcerer.
  279. >This...adoration.
  280. >You revel in the cheers and smiles until you spot something at the end of the street your parade runs on.
  281. >Something that makes your blood freeze in your veins.
  282.
  283.
  284. >Three figures from your nightmares stand at the end of the street, clad in steel-grey armor.
  285. >They look at the scene of you on the float with the princesses, their stances indicating confusion.
  286. >Celestia notices them, waving a hoof at them.
  287. >"Oh, Anon! Look! More from your world! And they're like you, instead of-" Her smile slips for a moment, and you see a venom flash in her eyes-"Farseer."
  288. "Princess. You need to evacuate Canterlot. Right now."
  289. >"What? Why would I do tha-"
  290. "Princess, you need to get them out of here! All of the ponies! Tell them to run!"
  291. >Twilight Sparkle speaks up, ignoring your mounting panic.
  292. >"Anon, calm down. If they're mean like Farseer, we have both Princesses here and ready. We won't have any tr-"
  293. >They aren't listening.
  294. >Gods damn them, why won't they listen.
  295. >You turn and shout at the crowd.
  296. "RUN! TURN TAIL AND GET OUT OF HERE! IT'S NOT SAFE!"
  297. >The ponies look at you with confusion before looking over at the massive, gray armored Astartes.
  298. >A few of them started running the moment you started yelling. The majority mill about, confused.
  299. >Panic clenches your heart as you watch the Grey Knights watching you.
  300.
  301.
  302. "In the Emperor's name, what am I looking at, Brothers?"
  303. >"Truly, Justicar, I have no idea."
  304. >Brother Stern's psycannon was already raised, ready for anything, while Brother Triel held his nemesis force halberd in a tight grip.
  305. >You and your brothers had been traveling across this land for days on end, never resting, never tiring.
  306. >You had killed a countless number of the hostile bird xenos since emerging from the crater.
  307. >Beyond them, you had only encountered a large, hostile, fire-breathing lizard species, but they were easy to dispatch.
  308. >Now you find yourselves face to face with small, horse-like xenos living in human-dwellings, all surrounding and cheering a Chaos-tainted marine in pre-Heresy armor.
  309. >Brother Triel makes his thoughts known.
  310. >"Justicar. They have not attacked us. Not even the Heretic. It even shouts at them to flee. Are they in league with it?"
  311. "I do not know, Brother. But it is not important to know. The two things at his side are warp entities of great strength."
  312. >Thoughts run through the Justicar's mind as he takes in the scene before him. He doesn't know exactly what he's looking at, but he's pretty sure it's heresy.
  313. "Purge it. Purge it all."
  314. >Brother Stern nods before lifting his psycannon and aiming it at the large white horse.
  315.
  316.
  317. "DAMN YOU, CELESTIA, LISTEN TO ME! YOU NEED TO GET THESE PONIES OUT OF HERE!"
  318. >"Anon, I'd remind you not to use that kind of language with me. I still rule here."
  319. >You let out a growl of frustration. Why won't they listen!
  320. >Pinkie and Derpy both have your back.
  321. >"I trust Anon, your majesty! He's never let us down!"
  322. >"I can feel a doozy coming on! We've gotta get outta here!"
  323. >Twilight, Luna, and Celestia stare at the three of you condescendingly. Celestia replies for all of them.
  324. >"Honestly, Anon, have your adventures in friendship taught you nothing? Whatever they might have been before they arrived here, this is Equestria. We extend the hoof of friendship first. And if that's rebuffed...."
  325. >Celestia gets a sly grin on her face, and Luna sighs and finishes her sentence.
  326. >"Bananas."
  327. >Celestia raises her hoof towards the Grey Knights as you feel the panic rising in your chest.
  328. >"Hello there, and well met, creatures! You must be Asta-"
  329. >In a swift blur of motion, the Knight toting the Psycannon raises his weapon, aims, and fires a single bolt.
  330. >The bolt, blessed by priests of the Emperor and steeped in null-warp energy, slams into Celestia's skull, just beneath her horn.
  331. >Her head seems to detonate, leaving a bloody, ruined mess at the end of her neck.
  332. >Her body does a little dance before collapsing, like a puppet with it's strings cut.
  333. >The ponies in the crowd scatter like fallen leaves.
