  1. (Order): Phoenecia says, "Oh, good. There's a lot of us here."
  2. (Order): Phoenecia says, "For those of you awake and alert, I'll be calling that meeting in just a little bit. We'll meet at the bow on the Hydra, the ship anchored just above Riparium."
  3. (Order): You say, "I have not been to the grotto in quite some time. Is the ship hard to find?"
  4. (Order): Benedicto says, "You know where the mermaid sits at the entrance to Riparium?"
  5. (Order): You say, "Aye."
  6. (Order): Benedicto says, "Just to the south of that."
  7. (Order): You say, "Good to know."
  8. (Order): Phoenecia says, "And for those of you who aren't sure which part of the ship is the bow, it's the front."
  9. (Order): Teani says, "I'll be there as soon as I can."
  10. (Order): Phoenecia says, "Last call for attending the meeting. We'll be starting shortly."
  11. (Order): Trager says, "I just awoke, what is happening?"
  12. (Order): Phoenecia says, "We're holding an order meeting as I described in the most recent order news post."
  13. (Order): Phoenecia says, "It's on the Hydra. The ship anchored above Riparium."
  14. (Order): Trager says, "I see, I am on my way."
  15. (Order): Elwyn says, "I will be attending for a short while."
  16. (Order): Elwyn says, "But then I will have to rest, unfortunately."
  17. (Order): Elwyn says, "I apologize, I must leave. If it is still going on when I return, I'll be back."
  18. (Order): Phoenecia says, "Alright. I'll bring you up to speed, if need be."
  19.
  20. Overlooking an enormous hydra figurehead. (Riparium.) (16778)
  21. The stars twinkle in the clear night sky. A stallion grazes nearby, dappled sandy fur gleaming. The shining figure of a guardian angel floats in the air here. There are 3 plain cherry muffins here. A massive riding orych placidly grazes nearby. Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker is here. Prioress Kaleigh Deschaine is here. Tendrils of flame curling around his form, Valingar is here, radiating an intense heat. He wields a spiritual mace in his left hand and a bronze Second Epoch buckler in his right. Jasline Silverain is here. Surrounded in an aura of defilement, Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain is here. He is riding on a war turtle. He wields a rustic, storm-engraved scimitar in his left hand and a rustic, storm-engraved scimitar in his right. Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair is here. Teani leans against the railing, watching the others with her arms crossed. Trager Del'baeth is here, shrouded.
  22. You see exits leading southwest and northwest.
  23.
  24. "There seems little point in remarking upon the more cavalier actions of our members --- the issue has very much been beaten into the ground time and time again these past few months," Trager rumbles, his tone light and matter-of-fact, "But ensuring it does not happen again is definitely something that must be addressed."
  25.
  26. You think, "Welp. Looks like we're off to a good start."
  27.
  28. You sense out the spark of life within all here.
  29. Sessizlik is here.
  30. Kaleigh is here.
  31. Valingar is here.
  32. Jasline is here.
  33. Benedicto is here.
  34. Phoenecia is here.
  35. Teani is here.
  36. Trager is here.
  37. You sense a presence out of step with reality.
  38.
  39. You think, "And a spy! How careless."
  40.
  41. You invoke a divine demand for truth, and illusion is torn away.
  42. Elwyn is pulled back into phase with reality!
  43.
  44. You cough softly.
  45.
  46. Grimly, you say to Elwyn, "Apologies. I thought...My mistake."
  47.
  48. Elwyn Taziyah says to you, "It's okay. I have to be mindless but wanted to still hear what was going on."
  49.
  50. Trager nods his head emphatically.
  51.
  52. Benedicto gives a slight nod in the direction of Trager. The effort of agreement seeming almost difficult. "Myself, Haven and Valingar have apologized for our...rash actions." He gives a slight sigh and he casts his pearl-white gaze around you all. "It is a lesson learned, particularly for myself as Avatar. No further action will be taken without first informing the Order."
  53.
  54. You have emoted: Haven crosses his arms over his chest and adverts his eyes as he promptly snorts.
  55.
  56. Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain says, "As you say, it has been discussed and dealt with. There is no point further running it into the ground as Trager states."
  57.
  58. "Something you wish to add, Haven?" Trager rumbles pointedly.
  59.
  60. Jasline tilts her head to the side slightly as she watches, the pointed tip of her ear poking out of her hair.
  61.
  62. Tilting her head slightly to one side, Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair says, "In regards to the...issues surrounding the actions of order members, I've noticed that has been some inconsistency in what is okay and not okay. There are times where it's prudent to act to achieve something, and other times when it's better to react. It can be a complicated affair, and we all try to act in the way we feel is best."
  63.
  64. You have emoted: "Aye, there is something." Haven barks as he turns his eyes on Trager. "But it would not be productive. And so I am silent."
  65.
  66. Teani clears her throat. "I think that's because we all have different ways of serving our Lord."
  67.
  68. Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich says, "I, for one, don't mind going in to defend our Lord's shrines, not either of you should it be needed, unless you go and do something incredibly stupid privately."
  69.
  70. Trager's growl stretches, distends, reverberating throughout his chest. "Then ensure if you are going to truly be quiet on the matter, to do so. Do not sit and make childish little gestures to show how upset you are."
  71.
  72. Nodding at Teani, Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair says, "And to be honest, I think that's just something we'll all have to accept. We each serve Lord Slyphe in are own way. Perhaps it's time we stopped hounding each other over how we go about it."
  73.
  74. Gruffly, you say, "Finally! Some sense."
  75.
  76. Sessizlik takes a deep breath, pushing herself away from her orych. "This is a time to vent and if something needs to be vented, do so now."
  77.
  78. Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich says, "But being called out in defense of our Lord, when the fight is a retaliation of something that is not the work of the entire Order... that's when I start wondering what is going on."
  79.
  80. Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich says, "So, rather than calling for aide without explanation, communication, as the Avatar mentioned he will improve, is essential."
  81.
  82. Benedicto's jaw tightens as he observes the exchange between Trager and you. "Calm yourselves." He states firmly. "One discussion at a time." He gives a nod of encouragement towards Teani.
  83.
  84. (Order): Trager says, "Brother, you should be here for this."
  85.
  86. (Order): Rashar says, "I am on my way."
  87.
  88. ::[ Lilith ]:: <<> Rashar enters from the northwest. <>>
  89.
  90. Phoenecia lets out her breath in a huff, pursing her lips thoughtfully. "To touch on that aspect as, well, communication is something the order has been lacking, and is something that we can work on improving on," she muses, perching herself on the railing of the ship. "If you think shrines are being defiled, for example, note it in the order logs or make a news post about it. That way we'll all know and can help out however we can."
  91.
  92. You say to Teani, "At the time, we weren't calling for aide for that. Cole was saying that he didn't agree with my methods and we were about to..." The Azudim rolls his head from side to side as he debates how best to continue before saying, "help each other see who was in the right. That is when the Corrupters agents came and attacked us indiscriminately.""
  93.
  94. Rashar strides in easily, flint colored eyes scanning the crowd in assessment. "Seems Ai am late to the party," he rumbles.
  95.
  96. Nodding at Benedicto, Teani continues, "If our Lord's honor or shrines are in need of defending, make sure the reasons for it are clear to everyone involved." With a shrug of a shoulder, she adds, "If members of the Order feels a need to form up and attack, then it is up to them, but make sure to let others know and make sure that the target knows who are involved."
  97.
  98. Benedicto raises his hand to signal a cessation of conversation.
  99.
  100. Lowering his hands, Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain says, "So, to round that first point off. We, as an Order, need to improve our communication with each other."
  101.
  102. Rashar lifts an eyebrow at Benedicto, lips quirkiness slightly to one side.
  103.
  104. Teani tells you, "I was attacked by Tina, who claimed I'd been there helping to burn down Djeir. Something I had no hand in."
  105.
  106. You tell Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich, "Then she was mistaken. I have since sent her notification that she strikes the wrong target."
  107.
  108. You tell Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich, "While she has not replied...I've made it clear who the offenders were."
  109.
  110. Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain asks, "If you notice anything, the defilement of shrines, Order members being targeted, anything at all. A note in the Order logs should be made as a minimum. Any more serious event would warrant documentation within a post. Are we agreed?"
  111.
  112. Teani tells you, "Aye, and attacks have stopped. The thing is, they should not have started at all."
  113.
  114. You tell Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich, "It seems to me the enemy were mistaken and simply assumed all in Djeir were there for the fires and so attacked blindly."
  115.
  116. You tell Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich, "The fault is theirs, I'd say."
  117.
  118. Teani nods curtly at Benedicto.
  119.
  120. Sessizlik nods her head at Benedicto.
  121.
  122. Rashar inclines his head as he strides over to stand next to Trager. "Seems logical."
  123.
  124. Nodding to Benedicto, Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair says, "Mm. There has to be some transparency. Explanations would be nice, when available. I don't think any of us like being left in the dark."
  125.
  126. Jasline nods her head once.
  127.
  128. Grinning briefly at your grunt, Valingar nevertheless says nothing, simply gives a slight nod of his head at Benedicto's words.
  129.
  130. Teani tells you, "A simple explanation when I arrived would have made things more clear to me though. I was lead to believe it was an unwarranted attack, but apparently you'd been up to something, no?"
  131.
  132. Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair says, "Just as a note, any plans of action we come up with to improve things, I'll be writing down and posting to the order. That way we can actually carry it out."
  133.
  134. Benedicto gives a nod of affirmation, though his eyes flick momentarily towards you. "Very good. As Avatar, and from the Scions as well. If we decide a course of action, or we wish to request the Order to engage in activity, we will communicate it first. That is the lesson I have taken from recent events." He looks around at you all once more. "Please raise your hand if you have a new point you wish to discuss."
  135.
  136. You tell Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich, "It was unwarranted because they struck Cole who had no part. That changed things considerably. Hence why I asked for your help. Otherwise I would have taken them all myself."
  137.
  138. Trager fixes Benedicto with a cool gaze, his demeanor offering nothing in line of emotion, "Explanations, yes, but blunt questioning about activities that have no purpose with the Order?"
  139.
  140. You peer at Trager suspiciously.
  141.
  142. You tell Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain, "I've half a mind to punch someone."
  143.
  144. Rashar cocks his head to the right and looks at Benedicto, lips pursed in consideration.
  145.
  146. You tell Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain, "But our Lord would be displeased."
  147.
  148. Benedicto stares at Trager with an equally cool gaze, his expression bland. "If I have been approached in my capacity as Avatar to inquire into somebodies actions, then I am entitled to."
  149.
  150. Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain says to Trager Del'baeth, "Regardless of whether you think they are relevant or not."
  151.
  152. Her fingers fidgetting, Sessizlik frowns and she leans against her orych again.
  153.
  154. Teani raises an eyebrow at Trager's question. "What? We're not entitled to some measure of life outside the Order? A simple reassurance that it is not related to our Lord should suffice though, no? We're not going around stabbing each other in the back."
  155.
  156. Trager emits one derisive snort, his chin lifting higher in some blatant showing of defiance, "Indeed. My life is my own. I won't be questioned, be you Avatar or not."
  157.
  158. You have emoted: "Not yet anyway." Haven mutters through gritted teeth after Teani.
  159.
  160. Benedicto raises a scaled brow at Trager. "Not even if I the directive comes straight from our Lord? You would disdain Him so?"
  161.
  162. Teani shoots a frown at you, then looks back at Benedicto.
  163.
  164. "Than say so at the beginning of the conversation," Trager retorts instantly, "Do not pursue the line of questioning as if -you- have any right to more intricate details of my life."
  165.
  166. "Because that is how it came across," Trager adds bluntly.
  167.
  168. Phoenecia sighs and runs a hand through her hair. "Enough, gentlemen," she mutters, a note of exasperation in her voice. "Keep this up and I may have you keelhauled."
  169.
  170. Trager's eyes flash towards Phoenecia, "And you, I can not help but feel this rather instantaneous change in your demeanor towards everyone has something to do with Him mentioning looking for a new Scion of Succor."
  171.
  172. You snort arrogantly at Trager.
  173.
  174. "You make it sound like I instigated an investigation into your private life." Benedicto replies calmly. "When the question I asked you was why you requested the assistance of Dato via the Order to kill Xiuhcoatl. I requested no information beyond that. Nor did I accuse you of any wrongdoing." He glances from Trager to Phoenecia and back again.
  175.
  176. "Because let us be honest," Trager rumbles slowly once more, "You have hardly been the most level-minded person to grace His Order."
  177.
  178. You murmur to Benedicto, "We ought settle this in the old way if you ask me. You and I brawl with these...these... comrades of ours. To the victor goes the spoils."
  179.
  180. You nod your head at Benedicto sagely.
  181.
  182. Trager Del'baeth says, "That would be regrettable, Mister Haven."
  183.
  184. "Seems to me," Rashar rumbles quietly, "That there is a lot of 'we all serve him differently', and 'it isn't our place to question'.." His eyes are bottomless, his expression placid. "Yet it seems to me there -is- a lot of questioning. Judging. As for serving Him in different ways, well. "So long as we are forwarding His work, and not getting our own thrills while representing Him." The gaze that slides over Phoenecia is amused, as if listening to an outspoken child. "Indeed. If change is His way, you are certainly among His most devout."
  185.
  186. You have emoted: Haven leans back from Benedicto and shoots Trager a glance. "Ah, right. A lipreader." He replies with a mild sneer.
  187.
  188. Sessizlik raises a brow, pushing herself away from her mount. "If I may?" she says softly, clearing her throat as she rests a hand on her hip.
  189.
  190. Phoenecia nods her head at Sessizlik.
  191.
  192. "Cease this bickering" Benedicto commands sternly. "Sessizlik. Please." He says more kindly with a slight smile in Sessizlik's direction.
  193.
  194. "I am not sure if I am the only one who has felt like this, and if that is the case, then so be it." Sessizlik taps her fingers against her hip, moving her eyes over the group. "First off, I want to make it -perfectly clear- that I am not questioning HIS ways, in any way. I want that -perfectly clear-."
  195.
  196. You have emoted: Haven flares his nostrils a touch and for a moment might seem like he would disobey Benedicto as he takes a step toward Trager. But with a grunt, the Azudim obliges and sets to pacing about the bow of the ship as if that were what he meant all along.
  197.
  198. Rashar slips his hands into his pockets and begins to stroll about, content for now to simply listen. His lips are cocked into that perpetual half - smile of amusement, and his eyes occasionally fall upon one speaker another. At your step his eyebrow lifts, and his smile becomes more of a smirk.
  199.
  200. Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says, "However, I have felt that since I was inducted into the order, there has been some favoritism going on. Perhaps not intentionally, but that is how it seems, at least to me. This favoritism has giving a bit of a stretched ego at times, which has made advancement for those who are not high ranked difficult. There has been times when I have felt like the only thing i am good for is to make muffins and locate shrines. That's all I have been allowed to do in the Order. Like I said, perhaps it's just me, but I know that at times, there has been work to be done, but noone has been given any tasks."
  201.
  202. The corners of Trager's mouth begin twitching slightly, the movement bringing a half sneer to his lips. Quiet he remains, however, his gaze now fixed thoroughly on Sessizlik.
  203.
  204. Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain asks Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker, "To whom do you feel this favoritism is directed?"
  205.
  206. Valingar tilts his head to the side, genuine curiosity touching expression as he waits for the answer to Benedicto's question.
  207.
  208. Sessizlik nods towards Rashar, an apologetic smile on her lips. "Towards him. At least for a long time it was like that." She takes a deep breath, shaking her head. "I can't give specific examples at this moment, but like I said, there has been time when there has been work to be done, but he has been the one doing most of it on his own."
  209.
  210. Phoenecia tilts her head towards Sessizlik, nodding. "You wouldn't be the only one who feels like they're getting the short end of the stick."
  211.
  212. Teani lowers her gaze, following the cracks in the floor boards of the deck as she listens. She remains silent and motionless save for a finger tapping idly against her arm.
  213.
  214. You have emoted: Haven keeps his arms bound tightly and crossed against his chest as he listens to Sessizlik speak. His eyes, however, remain for primarily Trager and Rashar as he continues on with his pacing. His steps are slow but confident as leather boots meet the wooden planks of the ship with a heavy 'thud'. From the knitted brow to the slightly peeled lips that reveal his predatory teeth, the former Knight's expression is largely grim and barely contained. Still, though, the Azudim keeps to his silence.
  215.
  216. Trager visibly bristles at Phoenecia's words but remains quiet still, his eyes offering some silent consolation towards Sessizlik in particular.
  217.
  218. Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain asks, "Just to clarify, do you mean you feel that Rashar has been shown favoritism by our Lord?"
  219.
  220. Valingar looks to the distance, before offering a slight bow, striding out in quiet steps.
  221.
  222. Sessizlik turns fully towards Rashar, making a small gesture with her hands. "I know we haven't always seen eye to eye, but that's not the reason I say this," she says trying to explain, before shifting her stance to address both him and Benedicto. "I think that He might have favored him a bit, yes, but that this has.. how to explain.. Rashar has been running the show, so to speak. You have taken up a lot of work on your own, without giving anyone a chance to prove themselves. We don't want any glory, at least I don't. I just want to show that I'm capable of more than muffins.."
  223.
  224. Rashar lifts a shoulder. "I've never had a problem delegating. However," his look is solemn as he sweeps the crowd, "Action over words, yes? Lots of people say they want to work.. " He smiles faintly, shrugs again. "Turns out sometimes it doesn't always fall that way in reality. I'm not one for standing around when there is something to be done."
  225.
  226. Grimly, you say, "Then do the work. Just because one member is working on something does not mean the others are barred for aiding or doing some themselves."
  227.
  228. You say, "If Rashar is writing a piece or working with one of the congregants, does not mean I won't write a piece as well or work with the same congregant."
  229.
  230. Rashar grins at you. "That is the second time I have agreed with you, feller."
  231.
  232. Staring at Rashar, you say, "Let's not make it a thing."
  233.
  234. Benedicto nods in understanding, a slight grin forming on his lips as he listens to the exchange between Rashar and you.
  235.
  236. Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says to you, "It's not always easy knowing what needs to be done until one is told that it's already taken care of. That's what I mean. Like I said, I cannot give a specific example, but it has happened."
  237.
  238. Laughing, Rashar says, "You don't speak sense often enough for that, my friend."
  239.
  240. Sessizlik draws her brows together, folding her arms over her chest as she leans against her orych again, muttering under her breath.
  241.
  242. "Just to add to that, I've noticed that when other people try to do things, they immediately get chewed out or dismissed," Phoenecia chimes in. "And there are the semi-frequent insults or demeaning comments. I've been guilty of speaking unkind words myself, but it needs to stop."
  243.
  244. Trager dips his head forward in a form of generalized agreement, "Also," he adds, "I have never shirked from going straight to Him with my concerns for what my purpose in His fold was. Simply put, if I felt out of sorts, I took it to the Man upstairs and he never once made me feel anything but a viable, wanted member of His Order."
  245.
  246. Rashar says to Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker, "Things were better organized when Solaria was serving as Succor. We need to get back to that point."
  247.
  248. "I think..." Teani begins, looking up from her place by the railing. "What Sessi means is that some people are not very good at knowing what to do within the Order to help, or to take initiative, so perhaps tossing them a bone from time to time is worth a great deal, rather than impatiently doing it oneself." She shrugs a shoulder, then falls silent again.
  249.
  250. Sessizlik gives a small nod in Teani's direction, before returning her gaze to the planks at her feet.
  251.
  252. You ask, "Why not ask then?"
  253.
  254. You say, "I can't read your mind and know you're looking for something to do unless you state as such."
  255.
  256. In a low hiss, Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says, "You don't think I did?"
  257.
  258. Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich says to you, "Sometimes, when asking, you get either no reply or most of the time people say nothing seems to be required."
  259.
  260. Rashar considers the words and then nods to Teani. With a few easy paces he stands before Sessizlik, reaching out to pick her chin up with two fingers. "Don't do that," he murmurs.
  261.
  262. "Very well then. The consensus seems to be that Rashar needs to stop hogging all of the work and share out some to people who would like to be involved." Benedicto states with a quirk of his lips. "Though as Haven says..." Here he nods at you. "People have also got to make sure that they're making it known they wish to take on some work." His grin fades somewhat as he observes the exchange between Rashar and Sessizlik.
  263.
  264. Sessizlik pulls her head away, shaking her head. "I'm good," she says in a low voice, taking a deep breath as she lifts her chin. "We are here to voice concerns and try to solve issues, right? My concerns has been voiced."
  265.
  266. A frown wrinkles your brow as you glance dubiously at Sessizlik and articulate a "Hrm...."
  267.
  268. You murmur to Benedicto, "There is fire in that one. I approve."
  269.
  270. Rashar says, "Voice your concerns. Never put your eyes to the floor for it, my lady."
  271.
  272. ::[ Lilith ]:: <<> Elwyn enters from the northwest. <>>
  273.
  274. Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain says, "In terms of the "favoritism", I will speak to our Lord about the concerns and discuss it with Him."
  275.
  276. Glancing down at her nails, before buffing them on her dress, Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says, "And if nothing else, I can still try to make my Divine Muffins series. That's proven to be more difficult than any task I've taken on so far, except for ascending."
  277.
  278. Trager flashes you a mocking wink, "Because that means so much, eh?" he jabs lightly.
  279.
  280. Phoenecia tilts her head slightly to one side, her expression cold. "I recall at least on two occasions that I've gone to Lord Slyphe voicing concerns about my place in the order or to voice concerns, I've been told that if I don't like the way things are, then I should just leave."
  281.
  282. You ask angrily to Trager, "Was I talking to you welp?"
  283.
  284. Benedicto reaches out to steady you, his large, webbed hand clapping you firmly on the shoulder. "Easy comrade. Be at peace."
  285.
  286. Elwyn wanders back in, raising an eyebrow. "Seems I walked back into something," she says.
  287.
  288. Trager offers a single snort, shaking his head as humor breaks over his features.
  289.
  290. Rashar lifts his brows once more. "You -do- have a tendency to come across a bit abrasive, Phoenecia. Just an observation."
  291.
  292. Gesturing grandly at Trager, you say to Benedicto, "Give a savage a sword and they think they know the measure of strength!"
  293.
  294. You inspect Trager and express your opinion with an unimpressed "tch."
  295.
  296. Calmly, Elwyn Taziyah says to you, "I don't think that is productive, Mr. Locke."
  297.
  298. With a disapproving tone, Elwyn says "Tsk, tsk" and waggles her finger at you.
  299.
  300. Elwyn Taziyah says, "No name calling."
  301.
  302. You grunt noncommittally.
  303.
  304. Benedicto grips you more firmly. "I said easy." His voice is filled with quiet authority.
  305.
  306. Trager murmurs to you, "If you insist on acting so uncivilly, we are very much going to have an issue. Cut your pathetic little show off, it is not fooling any."
  307.
  308. "Everyone, tempers down, please." Teani calls from her sideline. "That bickering does nothing but drive the wedge deeper in."
  309.
  310. Rashar laughs. "Strength has nothing to do with how far into a hole you can crawl and hide, Haven. Bludgeon who you will. I am unimpressed with placing your name in the same sentence as the word strength."
  311.
  312. Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says, "People, please.."
  313.
  314. Phoenecia's eyes dart to Rashar, her gaze icy. "As do you and your brother. You make veiled insults. Frequently. From this discussion alone, I've seen jabs at Haven, Benedicto, myself. I don't feel respected or welcome."
  315.
  316. Quietly, you say to Rashar, "Name me a coward again. Go on."
  317.
  318. Calipso ripples into existence before you.
  319.
  320. Vagabond Calipso, Trollsbane says, "Wow, at this rate, Corruption doesnt have to lift a finger..."
  321.
  322. Benedicto turns his stare towards Rashar and Trager. "You two will cease your provocation. You in particular, Trager, have done nothing but insult people within this Order in the vein hopes of drawing them into an argument or worse."
  323.
  324. Sessizlik growls at Calipso menacingly.
  325.
  326. Calipso raises her hand in greeting and says "Hi!"
  327.
  328. Trager offers Phoenecia a sidelong glance, his gaze idly calm, almost bored, "Because there is no respect to give you, dear."
  329.
  330. Calipso picks up a plain cherry muffin.
  331.
  332. Vagabond Calipso, Trollsbane says, "Cant say im wrong."
  333.
  334. Calipso gives you a peck on the cheek.
  335.
  336. Calipso nibbles lightly on a plain cherry muffin.
  337.
  338. Elwyn heaves a sigh, shaking her head.
  339.
  340. "Peh," you say to Calipso as you wave one hand at her in dismissal.
  341.
  342. A bilious aura around Phoenecia flares, reaching out and touching Calipso with its sickly power.
  343.
  344. The night sky is clear, and the stars twinkle like diamonds.
  345.
  346. Vagabond Calipso, Trollsbane says, "Frankly put, you lot are about to lose."
  347.
  348. You angrily say to Calipso, "You are not welcomed here. Be gone."
  349.
  350. Rashar tilts his head. "False. I bear Benedicto much respect." His gaze turns to you. "I told you before, feller. My opinion hasn't changed, and unlike some I don't feel the need to repeat myself."
  351.
  352. Vagabond Calipso, Trollsbane says, "No shit."
  353.
  354. Teani moves over to Calipso the moment Calipso appears, then continues to push Calipso backwards towards the exit of the ship. "Get going, now."
  355.
  356. Calipso nods her head emphatically.
  357.
  358. <Calipso slips out as everyone begins defing up, drawing out their swords, or morphing into lycan.>
  359.
  360. Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair says, "If she shows up again, slay her on the spot."
  361.
  362. Crossing her arms over her chest, Elwyn Taziyah says, "She is gone."
  363.
  364. Sessizlik grumbles angrily.
  365.
  366. Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair says, "At the very beginning of this meeting, I said 'no insults', and yet you two did so anyway. Locke, you're not exempt either."
  367.
  368. Teani's lips twitch into a wry smile as she looks at Elwyn, nodding her head.
  369.
  370. Elwyn tips her head in a nod to Teani.
  371.
  372. Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain says, "I need to leave unfortunately. I would ask that this remains civil and that no obvious provocation or fighting occurs. Sessizlik and Teani I wish for you to be neutral recorders of any further conversation that occurs. You too Elwyn."
  373.
  374. Sessizlik nods her head at Benedicto.
  375.
  376. Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says to Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain, "I will do my best."
  377.
  378. Elwyn nods her head at Benedicto.
  379.
  380. Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain says, "I wish to read a transcript of what occurs from this point on."
  381.
  382. Benedicto places his palms together in front of his chest and bows respectfully.
  383.
  384. Teani shrugs a shoulder, giving Benedicto a small nod. "Sure thing."
  385.
  386. Sessizlik gives Benedicto a respectful salute.
  387.
  388. By way of farewell, Maelstrom's Avatar, Benedicto Silverain says, "Ladies. Gentlemen."
  389.
  390. Benedicto is swiftly carried into the skies and out of sight by a pair of wings.
  391.
  392. Phoenecia tells you, "I'm about ready to kill someone."
  393.
  394. Teani goes back to watching the others, still with her arms crossed and leaning against the railing.
  395.
  396. Sessizlik runs her fingers through her hair, taking a deep breath. "Like eachother or not, we are still in the same order and we need to learn to at least show eachother respect."
  397.
  398. You angrily say to Phoenecia, "I've no intention of trying to impress them. But I will not stand by and let their insults persist because of some unwritten code that they're protected. Against the enemy, I will defend them. Stand by them. Even die for them. Beyond that, however, I've no love for them. They sleight me and I will see that they are punished one way or another."
  399.
  400. "Bah!" you retort disgustedly to Sessizlik.
  401.
  402. Laughingly, Trager Del'baeth says, "You act like you have not instigated such things yourself, Haven!"
  403.
  404. Trager idly waves his hand through the air, dismissing you without a care, "You can not be both the antagonist and the hero, my dear boy."
  405.
  406. Lifting her chin, Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says to you, "You just said it yourself, sir. At least part of it. You will stand by them, defend them, fight with them against the enemy. That is what order mates should do. I am not saying you should be best of friends outside of the order, but this is an -order meeting- and in this moment, we are meeting as order mates."
  407.
  408. Rashar shrugs. "Communication. Favoritism. Abrasive personalities and questionable motives. Seems like a good tale to read in a book." He smiles and inclines his head. "If you all will excuse me, I need to rest. I would suggest that if everyone stops talking about how badly we need to get along and bite our tongues, we just get to work. That is what I have done since I was a congregant. Nothing has changed about my approach, despite the positions I have held. And even when I held none."
  409.
  410. To the group as a whole, Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says, "So everyone, be respectful."
  411.
  412. Phoenecia nods her head at Sessizlik, leveling her gaze at Trager and Rashar. "I know you two don't like or respect me. I know Locke here is controversial and frequently rubs people the wrong way. I don't care if anyone in the order hates each other, but in the future, such comments and insults should not be spoken on the order channel or in discussions like this."
  413.
  414. Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair says, "You two may be higher-ups in the order, but it doesn't give you the right to treat everyone else as if they're beneath you."
  415.
  416. Sessizlik lifts a hand to rub at her temple. "Rashar, when you say it like that, it sounds like you are belittling our concerns. It's not a very good feeling."
  417.
  418. Rashar shakes his head at Sessizlik.
  419.
  420. Teani takes a deep breath, rubbing her hand over her face. Tiredly, she shakes her head before going back to look at the apparent posturing.
  421.
  422. Elwyn shakes her head. "If we cannot act like adults and at least come together for the cause of our Lord, how are we to serve Him," she says, glancing at each one of you in turn. "Because as we are now, I am not sure that we could."
  423.
  424. You have emoted: Haven closes his eyes and bows his head, chin meeting chest as he takes a moment to breathe. When his silvered eyes next open, they are on Trager and Trager alone. The world was nothing save for Trager. Not the sounds of the waves crashing against the bow of the ship. Not the gathered Chosen of Slyphe. Not even his own blessed angel who sways aimlessly in the air seems to exist for the Azudim. Only Trager. Without further warning the former Knight makes his charge with fist drawn back before shooting forward towards Trager's nose.
  425.
  426. In a low voice, Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says to Elwyn Taziyah, "I agree, that's why I hoped we would all be able to vent, in a civilized manner. Sad to see how wrong I was.."
  427.
  428. Trager projects a net of light about himself, and you watch as his image becomes faded and ghostly.
  429.
  430. Rashar says, "All I am saying is we are doing a lot of talking. As always, we flap flap flap our lips. Let's just work. You don't have work, you find it. You can't find it, you ask for it I don't see that it is any more complex than that."
  431.
  432. The night sky is clear, and the stars twinkle like diamonds.
  433.
  434. Sessizlik blinks at your sudden movement, drawing back until she is pressed up against her mount.
  435.
  436. "Haven Locke! You will not bring violence to our Lord's ship," Elwyn says loudly.
  437.
  438. Trager appears to fade momentarily out of sight, his form shimmering and translucent as his abilities do their best to shroud him. "Tch," he calls out lazily as his movements deftly place him out of harms reach.
  439.
  440. Teani lets out a biting curse, then rushes up to break up the fight between you and Trager. "Hold off, you two!" she shouts, gripping the first thing she can and tugs hard.
  441.
  442. Rashar says, "Of course he will. All he brings is violence. Our Lords most diverse follower."
  443.
  444. Rashar snorts arrogantly.
  445.
  446. Pointing a finger to Trager and you, Elwyn Taziyah says, "Out now!"
  447.
  448. Rashar says, "I need rest."
  449.
  450. Rashar is swiftly carried into the skies and out of sight by a pair of wings.
  451.
  452. Trager levels Elwyn with a flat gaze, "Yes," he drawls idly, "Because I threw that punch."
  453.
  454. Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says, "Why.. why do I even stay in this order, hmm? Can someone give me one damned good reason, cause right now, I can't see it. I really can't."
  455.
  456. Looking between you and Trager, Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich says, "Both of you have tossed insults at one another long enough. Go kiss and make up somewhere else, alright?"
  457.
  458. You have emoted: Haven gnashes his teeth in his snarl as Trager escapes his assault. "Damn you! Damn you to the foulest of pits!" He rumbles as he seems to allow himself to be held at bay by Teani.
  459.
  460. Sounding irrevocably bored, Trager Del'baeth says, "Yes, yes. I'll be taking my leave, now. Be well, everyone."
  461.
  462. Trager with that he offers one final wiggle of his fingers in your direction before flitting quickly out of sight.
  463.
  464. Sessizlik sinks down, leaning against the orych as she runs a hand over her face. "Really..."
  465.
  466. Phoenecia sighs and pushes herself away from the railing, moving to pat her hand on Sessizlik's shoulder. "Probably the same reason why I stay. In the hopes that something might change."
  467.
  468. Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair says, "I'm not leaving until I try and fail."
  469.
  470. Sessizlik looks up at Phoenecia, offering a small smile. "You and me both.. I just don't see that change coming."
  471.
  472. emote struggles against $Teani at $Trager's little wiggle, his fury rekindled. "Look at the savage! JUST LOOK AT HIM!"
  473. I'm sorry, I do not see Trager here.
  474.
  475. Teani keeps her hold for a little bit longer, then lets go of you, shooting you an angry glare. "Don't let them provoke you like that."
  476.
  477. Elwyn shakes her head. "He'd be ashamed of us all," she says sadly.
  478.
  479. You have emoted: Haven throws his hands up in the air as he says to Teani, "What am I to do?! IGNORE IT?!"
  480.
  481. Phoenecia glances towards the stern of the ship, folding her arms. "Did you notice how those two just so casually dismissed concerns, and insulted people they took issue with?"
  482.
  483. Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich exclaims to you, "YES! For the sake of the Order, while here on HIS ship, you IGNORE IT!"
  484.
  485. You think, "Why is that always everyone's solution?! ARGH."
  486.
  487. (Order): Rashar says, "There you are. I have asked Him to remove my title, and reduce my rank. Perhaps if I hold no position of responsibility, you will simply accept that my service to Him is without question, as is my impetus."
  488.
  489. (Order): Rashar says, "I rest."
  490.
  491. (Order): Trager says, "Hear, hear."
  492.
  493. "Yes, be the adult, Mr. Locke," Elwyn says, shaking her head again.
  494.
  495. Sessizlik rubs her temples in frustration.
  496.
  497. Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says, "They sure aren't the adults in this, that's for sure.."
  498.
  499. (Order): Slyphe says, "Goodness, what is going on?"
  500.
  501. (Order): Elwyn says, "Chaos my Lord."
  502.
  503. (Order): Teani says, "Discontent, posturing and thrown punches, my Lord."
  504.
  505. (Order): Phoenecia says, "Tried to have a meeting to discuss our...issues and concerns to try and improve things. It backfired."
  506.
  507. (Order): Slyphe says, "...How so?"
  508.
  509. Valingar tells you, "Did all hell break loose after I left the meeting or something?"
  510.
  511. You tell Valingar, "I....may have tried to punch Trager."
  512.
  513. (Order): Elwyn says, "I came back to name calling, dismissal attitudes and violence."
  514.
  515. (Order): Slyphe says, "Really? Violence among Mine?"
  516.
  517. Valingar tells you, "Well! I was just thinking it wasn't going that bad when I left."
  518.
  519. (Order): Elwyn says, "Yes, Lord, unfortunately so."
  520.
  521. Rubbing at her temples, Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair says, "I'm...really not sure if there's anything to be done if we're just going to be dismissed like that."
  522.
  523. (Order): Teani says, "Aye, my Lord. It was broken off though."
  524.
  525. (Order): Slyphe says, "By whom? What precisely happened?"
  526.
  527. (Order): Slyphe says, "I'd prefer the story from somebody as close to a neutral third party as possible."
  528.
  529. (Order): Elwyn says, "I yelled at them to stop and Teani helped to hold back. Trager was making jabs at Haven and Haven threw a punch."
  530.
  531. (Order): Slyphe says, "I am incredibly disappointed to hear such."
  532.
  533. (Order): Teani says, "After a meeting filled with insults, tempers flared and Haven threw a punch in anger. Both sides were at fault, my Lord, as both sides submitted said insults veiled or open."
  534.
  535. (Order): Elwyn says, "There are a few of us still on the ship if You wish to come, Lord."
  536.
  537. (Order): You say, "It was not I that threw the first stone. I have since kept the peace you required of me, Lord. Until they broke it."
  538.
  539. Phoenecia stares dejectedly at the planks of the ship. "I don't want to pin the blame on them, but to be perfectly honest...I still remember a time where we -didn't- insult each other and argue all the time."
  540.
  541. A torrent of water floods into the surroundings, warping and forming into the wavering figure of Slyphe, the Maelstrom.
  542.
  543. Jasline nods her head in agreement.
  544.
  545. Teani lets out a tired sigh. "If you were not so easily baited, perhaps things had progressed in a different way." she comments at you with a wry smile.
  546.
  547. Sessizlik pushes herself up to a standing, bowing towards Slyphe. "M'Lord," she says in a low voice.
  548.
  549. Elwyn tips her head in a nod to Slyphe. "Lord," she says grave in tone.
  550.
  551. Slyphe's form is engulfed in a shimmering, mirage-like aura a violent blue in hue, His gaze slowly sliding from person to person that stands aboard the ship.
  552.
  553. You have emoted: Haven huffs, trying to calm himself as he paces before Teani. "They bait me because they know they'll go unpunished. No longer. Not any more! I will meet them blow for blow if I must!"
  554.
  555. (Order): Trager says, "My memory serves me different. You forget, I read lips, Mister Locke."
  556.
  557. Jasline curtsies, "Lord," she says softly.
  558.
  559. Teani looks up at Slyphe's entrance and moves back to the railing, shaking her head.
  560.
  561. Phoenecia straightens up slightly, managing a half-bow. "The meeting was my idea, Lord Slyphe," she mumbles. "I'll take the blame for everything. I had hoped we would be able to discuss our issues and concerns and try to work through them."
  562.
  563. "You will meet nobody in My fold with a blow of any sort so long as you value your position within it," Slyphe nearly snarls to you, a hand lowering to rest upon the scimitar sheathed at His side.
  564.
  565. Sessizlik moves over to stand next to Phoenecia. "It was not only her idea, m'Lord. I do believe that everyone who came here was hoping that at least a few issues would be solved. We never thought it would go as badly as it did."
  566.
  567. Disappointedly, Slyphe, the Maelstrom says to Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair, "You took the opportunity to resolve standing issues Phoenecia, you will receive only My praise."
  568.
  569. Casting off her final fetters, the luminous lady awakens fully, shedding her joyful light from horizon to horizon.
  570.
  571. (Order): You say, "What insult did I serve first Trager? Tell me! Expose your lies!"
  572.
  573. (Order): Phoenecia says, "Haven! Enough."
  574.
  575. (Order): Trager says, "All will be exposed in time, dear Haven."
  576.
  577. Raising her voice a little, Teani directs her gaze at Slyphe. "My Lord. I can understand why You would want no violence between Your own, but really, both Rashar and Trager showed quite a bit of lack for respect and were indeed baiting him."
  578.
  579. Shaking her head, her eyes still downcast, Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair says, "I...grew tired of the negativity. The dismissal. I wanted to try and make things change. To help things improve."
  580.
  581. Elwyn wanders over towards Teani, wearily in body and mind.
  582.
  583. You have emoted: Haven storms to and fro about the deck of the ship, his crimson cloak billowing behind him. So in his thoughts, the Azudim doesn't appear to actually notice the presence of the Maelstrom.
  584.
  585. The bright sun shines down upon you.
  586.
  587. Elwyn Taziyah says to Azure Rose, Lady Phoenecia Sinclair, "You are not responsible for the actions of the others if they cannot be adults and accept their own consequences of the actions."
  588.
  589. Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich says, "The meeting was a good idea and some issues were brought up that needed to be cleared. Some were not met with much sympathy. It was the insults that did it all in."
  590.
  591. Slyphe seems to fidget irritably with the blade sheathed at His side, lifting it upwards and then letting it snap back down with an audible click a few times as He deems it fit to do little more at the moment than observe those assembled.
  592.
  593. Running a hand through her short hair, Elwyn Taziyah says, "I came back to name calling and dismissal attitudes to concerns that seem to have been brought up."
  594.
  595. Phoenecia glances up, her antennae drooping noticeably. "We had been keeping everything in for far too long. Always sweeping things under the rug instead of confronting our issues," she mumbles. "I felt there were things that needed to be said. I thought if we were able to come up with concrete plans for improvement, everything would go alright."
  596.
  597. (Order): Slyphe says, "If you are not upon the Hydra right now, get here."
  598.
  599. Teani gives Phoenecia a nod, then looks at Slyphe again. "It would seem Rashar would prefer to keep things under the rug. If everyone does what they wish in Your service and others... butt out, things will be alright. Others are of a different idea. One good thing was brought to a close at least. Communication will have to be improved for things to function within the Order."
  600.
  601. You think, "There will be a reckoning. There must be a reckoning... Just... Keep to your faith and you will be rewarded justly. You will rid yourself of your taint."
  602.
  603. The bright sun shines down upon you.
  604.
  605. Trager ripples into existence before you.
  606.
  607. You think, "Believe. Just believe."
  608.
  609. "We all have different ways of dealing with issues," Slyphe explains with another click of the blade at His side.
  610.
  611. Teani squarely positions herself between Trager and you, keeping an eye on both and seemingly ready to move should either of them do so.
  612.
  613. "Lord," Trager rumbles, bowing slightly.
  614.
  615. ::[ Lilith ]:: <<> Rashar enters from the northwest. <>>
  616.
  617. You have emoted: Haven seems to come to a conclusion as he nods firmly at himself, drawing himself out from his thoughts. It is then and only then that the Azudim seems to take notice of all those assembled upon the deck. From the Maelstrom right down to even Trager.
  618.
  619. Attaining her fullest glory, the shining sun sits upon her throne at the apex of her daily trek through the firmament.
  620.
  621. Rashar arrives quietly, standing to the back of the crowd with intent, steel colored eyes.
  622.
  623. Clapping His hands once, Slyphe, the Maelstrom says, "Alright, so. Here's the deal."
  624.
  625. Slyphe, the Maelstrom says, "As of now, I will have no Avatar. No Scions. No representatives, nor a Champion."
  626.
  627. The bright sun shines down upon you.
  628.
  629. Elwyn stands quietly, arms loose at her sides as she listens to Slyphe.
  630.
  631. Sessizlik draws her brows together, moving back to dig her fingers into her orych's fur.
  632.
  633. You sigh in relief as the aura of defilement surrounding you dissipates.
  634.
  635. Phoenecia's eyes remain downcast, though her antennae still twitch with each word spoken as she listens.
  636.
  637. The bright sun shines down upon you.
  638.
  639. Rashar inclines his head in acceptance, looking placid and unperturbed.
  640.
  641. Teani takes a deep breath, letting it out with a shake of her head, clearly disturbed.
  642.
  643. Jasline's frown deepens as she nods her head.
  644.
  645. Elwyn nods her head along with Slyphe's words and doings, clearly in favor of this.
  646.
  647. Rashar smiles softly. "Very interesting, to see so many reactions." His voice is a murmur, and his eyes are neutral and merely curious.
  648.
  649. Teani looks up, glancing in Rashar's direction. "It's disappointing it would have to come to -this-."
  650.
  651. You see the following people here:
  652. Sessizlik, Kaleigh, Jasline, Phoenecia, Elwyn, Haven, Teani, Trager, Slyphe, Rashar
  653.
  654. "You are equals," Slyphe nearly hisses as He erupts into a pace, weaving His way between those gathered. His gaze is stern as it locks onto each person present at least once. "You always have been - but it seems as of late it's been something contested." An exhalation of breath escapes through His nostrils, and as it does so a forceful gale rips over the deck of the sizable ship you stand upon. "A title doesn't make a Slyphian," the Lord notes with a shake of His head. "What's here though?" The Deity taps at His chest, fingers coming into contact with the skin just over His heart. "-This- is what truly makes a Slyphian."
  655.
  656. Teani hand comes up to slide over the pendant hanging around her neck, eyes locked on Slyphe.
  657.
  658. You have emoted: Haven manages a heavy grunt in response. Whether out of approval or otherwise remains to be seen as he allows the silence to claim him once more. His grim expression gradually shifts that to neutrality as he does his best to clear himself of all outward emotion.
  659.
  660. Rashar regards Teani with an almost regretful expression, but at the Divinity's words he simply nods.
  661.
  662. Trager remains still, the picture of impassivity. Quietly he listens to Slyphe's words as his eyes dart quickly around from face to face of those gathered.
  663.
  664. Trager purses his lips, deep in thought.
  665.
  666. Elwyn remains quite silent as her gaze stays on Slyphe.
  667.
  668. "I want to see action produced because you live for this cause," Slyphe nearly intones, brows furrowed as He continues His weaving between those gathered. "Not because of a title. Not because somebody ranked higher than you told you so. Not because you want recognition," He notes, a finger ticking with each stipulation. "But because you want to be a force of Change, and a betterment to this land in a way only a Slyphian is capable of doing."
  669.
  670. Sessizlik closes her eyes for a split moment, resting her head against the massive chest of the mount.
  671.
  672. Phoenecia says nothing at first, lifting her gaze briefly before staring off the starboard side of the ship. "A Slyphian is not complacent," she murmurs. "They must always strive to improve themselves and the things around them."
  673.
  674. Stopping before you, Slyphe, the Maelstrom says, "I care little for any preconceived notions of 'the old ways' of handling issues. This is not a case of 'to the victor goes the spoils' because in MY eyes you are all to be the victors. We are going to do things My way."
  675.
  676. Rashar slips his hands into his pockets, rocking back and forth from heel to toe as he listens to this guidance. His eyes are thinned, not negatively but as if in deep consideration. From one to the other, his gaze travels across each of you. With Phoenecia's words his lips twitch, but he makes no comment and continues his quiet pacing.
  677.
  678. Teani glances at you, then turns her eyes out to the ocean. She seems caught up in her own thoughts, lips pursed as she considers the glittering waves.
  679.
  680. Quietly, you say to Slyphe, "My contract is with You, Lord. Benedicto may have been the one who procured it but it is ultimately You that I serve. I care not for titles. I care not for the opinions of the others that might follow You. I am here to destroy Your enemies. To bring change to this realm. To see us ascend to a better Age."
  681.
  682. Slyphe passes on beyond you without hardly a single note of regard for your words. "The coming months will be some of the most trying you've seen in your lives," the God notes, hands folding behind His back. "I will meet with each and every one of you, and we will discuss why it is you are within this fold." A hand rises before Him as He raises an index finger. "If I do not find your answer suitable, you will find yourself removed."
  683.
  684. The stars wink into existence, familiar constellations illuminating the night with tales of myth and legend.
  685.
  686. Sessizlik swallows, turning her eyes towards the planks. She strokes her mount slowly, remaining silent as a mouse.
  687.
  688. Rashar purses his lips. Rather than look concerned, he seems to be considered the faces of the congregation.
  689.
  690. The night sky is clear, and the stars twinkle like diamonds.
  691.
  692. Solemnly, you say, "It is as You will it, Lord."
  693.
  694. Trager slowly fades into view, returning to the realm of perception.
  695.
  696. You have emoted: Haven spares Trager and Rashar a quick glance.
  697.
  698. You think, "One can only hope the unworthy are brought to the Light."
  699.
  700. Teani's eyes return to the ship and to Slyphe, nodding her head once, expression neutral.
  701.
  702. Firmly, Slyphe, the Maelstrom says, "I have no room for dead weight here. If you are in this Order, you are here to be a Slyphian. No personal agendas, no title seeking - if that is what you want, you may leave this vessel now and join My Sister."
  703.
  704. You say, "I find it insulting truthfully that there are any here that merely desire a title, Lord."
  705.
  706. Rashar tilts his head at the words, looking almost.. certainly not, but almost in agreement with the former knight.
  707.
  708. A voice slithers within the back of your mind, the scorn and disgust evident amidst its tone almost undeniable. "Your views of unworthiness and Mine are two quite different things."
  709.
  710. You clench your jaw tightly, pressing your lips into a line with a grim look on your face, and gaze steadily at Slyphe.
  711.
  712. Slyphe wordlessly lifts a hand in the direction of the rope ladder off in the distance, His head tilting as if an unspoken invitation.
  713.
  714. Elwyn remains where she stands, wings stretching out as waves of green energy roll about her and they pull back in seamlessly melding to her back as her mixed gaze flicks over each of you before landing back on Slyphe.
  715.
  716. Teani purses her lips in consideration. "My Lord, I can say truthfully that I never once sought a title, but I will confess that I've desired recognition for the work I have put in. It is, perhaps, a flaw of mine, that I wish to know I am on the right path still." She gives a small shrug of a shoulder, taking a small step back.
  717.
  718. You have emoted: Haven steps forward, his chin slightly raised as he aims to meet Slyphe's gaze. "Lord. We all walk different paths. Some are quicker and others lead to a bit of lag or delay. But in the end, I've no doubt of anyone here's devotion to you. The end of the road is and has always been towards Your service."
  719.
  720. Deepest Stygian night steals over the land as the symbolic hourglass empties and turns, ready to begin a new day.
  721.
  722. Phoenecia glances to the ladder briefly, but soon returns her gaze to Slyphe, stepping forward and stabbing the tip of one of her blades into the deck planks. "I'm here to the bitter end," she murmurs. "Or until my service is no longer deemed worthy. I don't want to lose more of what's important to me..."
  723.
  724. "Good," is Slyphe's only immediate response to your words besides a quick nod. His arms lift to fold over His chest, lips pursed. "While this... period is going on, you will be treated as a single unit," the Deity notes. "A failure by a single member - fight, insult, whatever - will result in punishment to the Order as a whole. This will signify the fact that your actions do not hurt only you, they hurt My organization as a whole."
  725.
  726. You have emoted: Haven turns his eyes towards Rashar then as he adds, "The problems seem to stem from the fact that we cannot help but throw rocks towards some of the others because of the path they've chosen. I suppose some of us have forgotten it is You that lies as judge of our actions. I know I have not been..." The flesh around his eyes wrinkle considerably, quickly diminishing the neutral mask he had worn previously. "Easy on some of the others. But as I've said before... I may not like them all. I may not even respect them all. But I will die for them in the face of the enemy. I will stand by them no matter the cost in service to You, Lord."
  727.
  728. Sessizlik finally lifts her gaze, looking over at Slyphe. "What of those who might have difficulties finding what needs to be done, m'Lord? I don't always know what needs to be done, but I want to show You and the Order that I really want to be here. I just.. don't know how. My life has always been muffins, but I'm more than that. People just don't see it."
  729.
  730. You have emoted: Haven concedes to Slyphe with but a nod before he steps back in line to join the others.
  731.
  732. Cole shimmers into view before you.
  733.
  734. Cole carefully raises his hand to tug on a wide-brimmed close helm as he appears, face concealed behind it.
  735.
  736. l Sessizlik
  737. She is a typical Grecht of short stature, standing a few inches above five feet. Although she is not to be considered overweight, her body shows some underlaying plumpness, her skin a light greyish brown. A pair of almond shaped eyes are set below thin brows, an almost glowing ember hue that matches her strawberry blonde hair. The tresses has been cut short, ending just below the large rounded ears that rest on the sides of her head. A stubby, round nose rests above her mouth, the lower lip plumper than the one above, making her chin look small and narrow. A semi-translucent membrane reaches from below her elbows to the upmost part of her hips, wings too small to keep her flying for long.
  738.
  739. (worn on a finger) : a Year 400 ring
  740. (hanging around the neck) : a coral-covered pendant
  741. (around the neck) : an amber muffin pendant
  742. (worn on the back) : a funny-looking bunny pack
  743. (worn on a finger) : a signet ring of the Quintus family
  744. (worn on the feet) : pink high heel shoes
  745. (well-fitted around the body) : a short, soft rose chiffon dress
  746. (worn) : a length of elemancer's focusing beads
  747. (worn on a finger) : a ring of pestilence
  748. (worn on head) : an adorably pink lupine helm
  749.
  750. You tell Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker, "Have faith, Grecht."
  751.
  752. With another slow nod, Slyphe, the Maelstrom says, "Just as the wrongdoings of an individual member will warrant punishment to the organization as a whole, the greater actions of individuals will bring about reward for every member."
  753.
  754. Clearing his throat, Sir Cole says, "Uh. Pardon that - f'got t' even bother with my earrin'n all, jes' woke up."
  755.
  756. Slowly, Trager Del'baeth says, "Understood, Lord."
  757.
  758. Slyphe, the Maelstrom says to Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker, "As for your question, those that do the most work find it upon themselves to create the work. I hardly assign much Myself, people tend to observe what needs to be done or could help, and then take it upon themselves to do it."
  759.
  760. Sessizlik tells you, "I try, believe me."
  761.
  762. Sessizlik frowns, giving a small nod as she turns her eyes to the planks once more.
  763.
  764. A hand raises, two fingers rubbing at Elwyn's temple as she watches and listens with a weariness about her form.
  765.
  766. Rashar shrugs. "Like I said. You do work.. Don't have it, find it. Can't find it, ask." His head shakes slightly as he paces, and one hand comes up to drag through his hair.
  767.
  768. Slyphe finally settles somewhere towards the middle of the congregated group, another exhalation of breath escaping His form. "With the temporary elimination of the Scion and Avatar positions, it will be the duty of all of you - together, united, coordinated - to see to it that the work is still done."
  769.
  770. His gaze shifting back towards Sessizlik, Slyphe, the Maelstrom says, "Their duties are numerous, so this may be a good place for you to begin looking if you are having issues coming up with things to do."
  771.
  772. With a small nod, Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says to Slyphe, the Maelstrom, "I will do my best, m'Lord."
  773.
  774. Gesturing towards Sessizlik, Slyphe, the Maelstrom says, "Her concern is not an invalid one - consider it among the duties that need to be done. Perhaps you lot can work together to draft a list of what truly needs done around here, together."
  775.
  776. There is perhaps a hint of gratitude in Teani's eyes as she gives Slyphe a small nod, relaxing her shoulders a little.
  777.
  778. The rigid, more stern and disappointed features among His countenance slowly beginning to fade, Slyphe spares another moment to lock gazes with each one of you that surround Him. "You lot are better than this. You are a team. A force capable of feats no other Order can compare to," He lowly states.
  779.
  780. Sessizlik lifts her chin at these words, a small smile on her lips as she gives a single nod.
  781.
  782. Slyphe, the Maelstrom says, "While this is what I have gathered to know as fact, it is something I wish to see reaffirmed."
  783.
  784. Elwyn's head tips into a nod at Slyphe's words.
  785.
  786. Slyphe, the Maelstrom asks, "Am I clear, Mine?"
  787.
  788. The ebon of the night hugs close, obscuring your view.
  789.
  790. With a nod, Elwyn Taziyah says, "Understood."
  791.
  792. Kaleigh quietly clears her throat, nodding her head. "Yes, Lord."
  793.
  794. A flicker of doubt crosses Trager's features, but he offers only a stiff nod. "Yes, Lord."
  795.
  796. Teani nods her head in the affirmative.
  797.
  798. Jasline nods her head, "Understood, Lord."
  799.
  800. Cole moves to hitch his thumbs in his weaponbelt, helmeted head dipping in a nod. "As y' say, Lord," comes the faintly echoing reply.
  801.
  802. Flecking the darkened sky with streaks of orange and magenta, rays of early morning light streak upwards from a newly awakened sun.
  803.
  804. "Crystal," Rashar says in a quiet rumble.
  805.
  806. Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says, "Yes, m'Lord."
  807.
  808. You nod your head affirmatively.
  809.
  810. Slyphe offers those gathered a final, appreciative nod. "I want one of you to make a post to the Order boards explaining My words, clearly and precisely, so that those who were not present will know what is going on," He instructs. "This, My Called, is the time for you to prove yourselves."
  811.
  812. Slyphe is suddenly enveloped in a swirling vortex of water that writhes and sinuously curls about His form before disappearing as abruptly as it arrived, leaving nothing in its wake.
  813.
  814. Dryly, Rashar says, "I suppose it shouldn't be me. I wouldn't want to hog all the work."
  815.
  816. Sessizlik frowns at Rashar.
  817.
  818. You utter a deep, rumbling laugh.
  819.
  820. Elwyn shakes her head at Rashar.
  821.
  822. Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says to Rashar, "Let's start off fresh, shall we?"
  823.
  824. Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says, "Eat that. It's good for you."
  825.
  826. The bright sun shines down upon you.
  827.
  828. You think, "Blessed sun."
  829.
  830. Elwyn Taziyah says, "I can do it, if none other wishes. Though my scribing is left for something said at times."
  831.
  832. Elemancer Sessizlik Quintus, Master Baker says, "I need to be resting, so I wouldn't mind if someone else could handle it. And perhaps send a letter to Benedicto as well, since he asked for a transcript of the meeting after he left."
  833.
  834. Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich says to Elwyn Taziyah, "Feel free to write something. I think one of those most neutral at this meeting should take care of it and keep the post such as well."
  835.
  836. Inclines her head, Elwyn Taziyah says, "Of course."
  837.
  838. Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich says, "I'll see if I can write something for Benedicto."
  839.
  840. Elwyn nods her head at Teani.
  841.
  842. You peer about yourself suspiciously.
  843.
  844. Rashar shrugs lightly. "Let me know if you have anything you'd like done. Until then, I'll be moving forward as usual." His head dips. "Take care, fellers."
  845.
  846. Rashar is swiftly carried into the skies and out of sight by a pair of wings.
  847.
  848. Glancing at everyone, Elwyn Taziyah says, "If that is all, I will go plop myself in my studio to write. If you have a need of me, please just say so."
  849.
  850. Sessizlik takes a deep breath, before swinging up on the orych's back. "We can do this, all of us. Right?" she says, looking over the group. "Work together, stand together."
  851.
  852. Elwyn nods her head at Sessizlik.
  853.
  854. Kaleigh nods her head at Sessizlik.
  855.
  856. Sessizlik gives the world a smart salute.
  857.
  858. The bright sun shines down upon you.
  859.
  860. You shout, "Blessed is the Light and all those who reach for it."
  861.
  862. Cole gives a shake of his head. "Yeah. Figure we can handle all this," he agrees. "Wakin' up t' find out I got demoted all th' way t' the start like t' make my blood run cold though," he continues. "Hate comin' in on th' tail end'f stuff."
  863.
  864. Blood Reaver, Tsvanni Kal'Adun, The White Serpent's voice powerfully resounds, in Albedi, "Testing."
  865.
  866. Blood Reaver, Tsvanni Kal'Adun, The White Serpent's voice powerfully resounds, in Albedi, "Oh cool I got my voice back."
  867.
  868. Grand Duke Zsadist Lunare, Angelsbane's voice resonates across the land, "Shut it with your light and embrace the darkness. You know it calls to you just as it calls to me Haven."
  869.
  870. Blood Reaver, Tsvanni Kal'Adun, The White Serpent's voice powerfully resounds, in Albedi, "Fudge you haven."
  871.
  872. Elwyn nods her head at Cole.
  873.
  874. Rising higher in the sky, the sun illuminates the land, confining darkness to the shadows.
  875.
  876. Teani brings out a note book. "As I said earlier, Cole, it's disappointing it had to go that far."
  877.
  878. Elwyn Taziyah says, "Hopefully, my post will clear a bit of it up."
  879.
  880. Daskalos' deep rumbling voice resounds across the continent, "You two speak loudly for two who hide on other planes and behind walls. Are you scared of the Light burning you?"
  881.
  882. You think, "Damn him! I DON'T NE--"
  883.
  884. Daskalos tells you, "I know I know you don't need the help."
  885.
  886. Jasline clasps her hands in front of her and nods her head in agreement.
  887.
  888. Elwyn waves goodbye.
  889.
  890. Elwyn is swiftly carried into the skies and out of sight by shimmering wings of verdant vines.
  891.
  892. Daskalos tells you, "Still, cowards annoy me."
  893.
  894. Grand Duke Zsadist Lunare, Angelsbane's voice resonates across the land, "I love how a pest dares to speak to me."
  895.
  896. Blood Reaver, Tsvanni Kal'Adun, The White Serpent's voice powerfully resounds, in Albedi, "Tsvanni goes where she pleases."
  897.
  898. Your angel senses Tsvanni at Before an ancient, ruined construct with a health of 5025 and a mana of 4170. (5426) (Spinesreach.)
  899.
  900. Evoking the power of light, you begin to glow with a radiance far surpassing anything known in Aetolia.
  901.
  902. You begin to exude a foul miasma, granting protection upon you and your allies.
  903.
  904. Sir Cole says to Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich, "Jes' a right headache, I figure. Folks fightin' so bad, with a real enemy jes' there in front'f us? Tch."
  905.
  906. Phoenecia sighs and runs a hand through her hair. "I suppose my meeting was a big, fat failure..." she mumbles. "Wish things had gone better."
  907.
  908. You say to Phoenecia, "I'd say we have seen progress. Change amongst our kin."
  909.
  910. Teani nods her head sagely. "At least some of us kept cool." She moves over to settle down near the railing.
  911.
  912. Prioress Kaleigh Deschaine says, "I agree with Haven. Without this meeting, there still would have been conflict, and more of an unorganized nature among us."
  913.
  914. You have emoted: Haven rests a hand on Phoenecia's shoulder in assurance while managing a grunt for Teani. "Warm fires to you and yours, comrades."
  915.
  916. You place your fingers to your mouth, and focusing mentally on your trusty steed you blow hard, creating a sharp, carrying whistle.
  917.
  918. You swiftly swing up onto a donkey.
  919.
  920. You gallop away to the north atop a donkey. (5426)
  921. Before an ancient, ruined construct. (Spinesreach.) (5426)
  922. Crushed and broken beneath hundreds of tons of stone, an enormous, ruined construct is entombed in the rubble filling the northern half of the chamber. Resting on the ground is a cube-shaped silver sigil. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. A conscripted Spirean soldier coldly scans the area for threats. Tsvanni sits here astride a white sandstone throne. She wields a tower shield in her left hand and a menacing flail in her right. Cohort Zarosh is here. He is riding on an imposing, white-furred yeti. He wields a black voidstaff in his right hand.
  923. You see a single exit leading south.
  924. Tsvanni is afflicted with:
  925. [100] [100] E91 W85 B100 S100 Dev100 Spark53 <<XP 2%>> [csdb eb] 7:3.918 -(Done.)
  926.
  927. Tsvanni gives Zarosh a respectful salute.
  928.
  929. Tsvanni looks exhausted and opens her mouth in an enormous yawn.
  930.
  931. Grimly, you say to Tsvanni, "You and I need to talk."
  932.
  933. Blood Reaver, Tsvanni Kal'Adun, The White Serpent says in an exotic tone, "I was taking a nap man."
  934.
  935. Blood Reaver, Tsvanni Kal'Adun, The White Serpent says in an exotic tone, "I'm tired."
  936.
  937. Tsvanni takes a long drag from a lit long, slender white cigarette.
  938. The final part of Tsvanni's cigarette burns away to ash.
  939.
  940. Tsvanni exhales a mild cloud of smoke, redolent with slightly sweet scents.
  941.
  942. Tsvanni giggles and leans in her throne sideways.
  943.
  944. You have emoted: Haven's expression darkens as he stares at Tsvanni. "We need to talk."
  945.
  946. Tsvanni nods her head at you.
  947.
  948. You beckon Tsvanni to you.
  949.
  950. You think, "Go on... Do it."
  951.
  952. Tsvanni shrugs helplessly.
  953.
  954. The soft clank of armour fills the air as a conscripted Spirean soldier shifts her weight, scanning the area for potential threats.
  955.
  956. Tsvanni blinks.
  957.
  958. Blood Reaver, Tsvanni Kal'Adun, The White Serpent says in an exotic tone, "Forgot to make my pants visible."
  959.
  960. Tsvanni nibbles gently on her lower lip, a perturbed look on her face.
  961.
  962. You think, "Oh how blind you all are."
  963.
  964. Blood Reaver, Tsvanni Kal'Adun, The White Serpent says in an exotic tone, "Ah earthen form."
  965.
  966. Blood Reaver, Tsvanni Kal'Adun, The White Serpent says to Cohort Zarosh, in Albedi, "I'll be back, Fledgling."
  967.
  968. Tsvanni pats Zarosh in a friendly manner.
  969.
  970. Zarosh gives Tsvanni a respectful salute.
  971.
  972. Tsvanni begins to follow you.
  973.
  974. You grunt noncommittally.
  975.
  976. Blood Reaver, Tsvanni Kal'Adun, The White Serpent says to you, in Albedi, "Take me where you whilst foul daemon."
  977.
  978. Tsvanni opens a silvery cigarette case.
  979.
  980. You think, "Hell. That is what awaits you."
  981.
  982. Tsvanni takes a long, slender white cigarette from a silvery cigarette case.

1427. 8 . Slyphe: "There is a right answer to that question, and a very, very wrong one."
1428. 9 . Phoenecia: "Everyone had better start thinking twice about their words and actions towards everyone else in the order. The whole point of all this is to grow and improve."

  1440.
1441. Gesticulating wildly, Teani takes a step towards you. "You're -allowing- them to get to you. You put all of us in harms way with your actions, just because you got baited." Seeing you back off, she adds, tone softer. "I've asked others to go speak to the other two, but please, for the love of everything that is sacred to you, calm down and close yourself off from them if needed."
  1442.

  1458.
1459. (Order): You say, "It is strong, Lord. However, I would not see the others punished for me. Rashar and Trager choose to goad me and I bite. Every time. Perhaps You are right. It is not strong enough."

1461. You tell Roux Aquila, "The end, Firestarter."
  1462.
1463. Roux tells you, "Of what."
  1464.

  1466.
1467. Teani shakes her head. "Don't, Haven. If Lord says you belong, you shouldn't resign."
  1468.
  1469. (Order): Slyphe says, "Precisely."

1477. Elwyn tells you, "And yes, I realize how strange it might be for me to be in your side but don't let them run you out."
  1478.
1479. (Order): Cole says, "I ain't an expert, but always figured best way to start improving is to work on yourself, then look to others. Got to have a strong base and all - so, you got problems with somebody else, and regularly? Figure out what's wrong on your end, and they do the same, and figure the problem'll go away."
  1480.
1481. You have emoted: Haven grits his teeth and adverts his eyes from Teani. Whether out of shame or disgust, it is hard to say. Whatever the case, the Azudim clearly struggles with his emotions as he vias for silence.
  1482.
1483. (Order): Phoenecia says, "We're all directly linked to each other now. We couldn't deal with our issues before, and we'll have to now if things here are going to get better."
  1484.
1485. (Order): Phoenecia says, "No more running. No more denial. No more excuses."

1491. Taking in your stance, Teani lets out a long sigh. "I know it's not easy. Never is." She shakes her head, running a hand through her hair as she relaxes her stance, stepping away to leave room should you want to leave. "I'll help you, if you want me to."
  1492.
1493. (Order): Slyphe says, "A good action from one will be reflected. Well done on being the first to warrant this."

1504. A beautiful melody wafts across the heavens, lifting each of the City of Enorian with the divine blessing of Damariel, the Unbound.
  1505.
1506. A beautiful melody wafts across the heavens, lifting each of the Duiran Council with the divine blessing of Damariel, the Unbound.
  1507.
1508. You think, "No...NO! You mustn't give in."
  1509.
1510. A wolf spider crawls out to the southeast.
  1511.
1512. Damariel, the Unbound's voice rings out across the land like the falling of hammers, "You're welcome, councillors. Send My regards to My Brother the Hunter!"
  1513.
1514. You have emoted: Haven places his head into his palms as he gradually shrinks to the floor until he stands at a crouch, the back his hands pressed to his knees. The former Knight shudders.
  1515.
1516. <<> Rashar ENTERS FROM THE southeast! <>>
  1517.
1518. Barely a flinch registers across his visage as Rashar approaches, eyes drilling into you.
  1519.
1520. Your pose is now set as:
1521. Haven is crouched here, head in hands.
  1522.
1523. Teani moves over to your side, then looks up as Rashar enters. "I don't think now is the best moment to be here, unless you have something constructive to say."
  1524.
1525. A distant keening howl seizes your attention, and you stop to listen. It is the sound of some creature, somewhere, experiencing inutterable sorrow. A chill ripples down your spine as the sound trails off, but you remember...
  1526.
1527. You have emoted: Speaking into his hands, Haven utters, "I am tired, Teani." The words tumble out as barely above a whisper. The Azudim doesn't seem to register Teani's approach or even Rashar's arrival. Instead he remains where he is, crouched with head in hands.
  1528.
1529. The brilliant aura surrounding you slowly fades to a mere glimmer before disappearing.
  1530.
1531. Rashar crosses his arms as he rolls to a halt several paces from you. His jaws clench rapidly, his eyes are like darkened pits of shadow, and the heat rolls off of him in waves as he stands considering the crouched man. He struggles visibly with something, some thought or urge, and his eyes narrow by degrees the longer he remains silent, until finally he growls, "You are tired because you spend all of your effort pretending."
  1532.
1533. Phoenecia tells you, "Alright. Just so we're clear on this, you're going to need to learn how to manage your temper. And I thought mine was bad."
  1534.
1535. You think, "The night is upon me."
  1536.
1537. The night sky is clear, and the stars twinkle like diamonds.
  1538.
1539. Teani shoots Rashar a warning glance, placing a calming hand on your shoulder. "We don't want to bring down our Lord's ire again, hm?" She shifts her eyes between you and Rashar. "If you have any form of sense in your heads, you'll both step away from one another and call it quits. No more baiting, goading, insulting or bickering."
  1540.
1541. Phoenecia tells you, "I hate certain people, and wouldn't mind seeing them dead, but when someone else's well-being is on the line, I stay my hand."
  1542.
1543. Phoenecia tells you, "A vendetta against someone isn't worth someone else getting hurt over..."
  1544.
1545. "Your mediating is not needed, Teani." Rashar's eyes never leave you, though he shakes his head almost imperceptibly. "My goal has -never- been to bring the Maelstrom's ire upon anyone, myself or otherwise. You wound me to imply it, and you wound me to accuse that I do not speak with sense."
  1546.
1547. You have emoted: Haven's shoulders are the first to tremble. Not from Teani's touch but from a laughter. A deep and dark, insidious laughter that resonates outward as it fills him to the brim. So much so that his entire frame seems wracked with it as he lifts himself to his feet. With a haggard breath, the Azudim sighs, almost as if he were strangely content. "I am pretending, he says." It is then and only then that the former Knight flicks his gaze away from his curled fists to stare at Rashar. "Out with it, Rashar. All of it here and now so I might know."
  1548.
1549. The night sky is clear, and the stars twinkle like diamonds.
  1550.
1551. "What is your goal?" Rashar asks instead, words clipped and pointed. "What do you strive for?" His eyebrows lift along with one arm, which comes up to pull the bangs from his hair before dropping down to flick repeatedly at his sides, twisting and stretching as if in preparation for something. "What is your game, Haven?"
  1552.
1553. "I spoke to the both of you." Teani's eyes fixing on Rashar. "Anyone with half a brain can see that Haven is easy to bait, and through that can be made to take the fall." She shifts her attention to the laughing Azudim at her side. Quietly, she mutters a warning, "Don't... don't take the bait. Let it drop." Her fingers curl in as she strengthens her hold on you.
  1554.
1555. Arbre tells you, "For one supposed to love her, you certainly are good at making her miserable."
  1556.
1557. You have emoted: Dropping his gaze as he takes on a contemplative expression, Haven asks Rashar, "Blessed Rashar. You seem to know me quite well. You name me craven. You claim I am a pretender. You tell me."
  1558.
1559. You tell Arbre Aquila, "I think I hate her."
  1560.
1561. The night sky is clear, and the stars twinkle like diamonds.
  1562.
1563. You think, "Its call is always there. Echoing. Echoing. Echoing..."
  1564.
1565. Evening Sky, Teani Fiadhaich says to Rashar, "And your intention was never to bring down His ire? Then what, exactly, are you doing here? Your temper is flared, so is his. If this comes to blows, don't you think He will react?"
  1566.
1567. Arbre tells you, "Excellent. Then leave her and hers be so she can live a healthy life."
  1568.
1569. You tell Arbre Aquila, "Tell her for me, Arbre Aquila. Tell her I loathe her existance. Tell her that I never want to see her again. Tell her so she'll never look back."
  1570.
1571. Arbre tells you, "Tell her yourself."
  1572.
1573. You tell Arbre Aquila, "This is the end. I am done."
  1574.
1575. Rashar levels an intense gaze upon Teani, as if willing the woman to be silent, to allow this confrontation that will not be stopped. In the span of a half a dozen heartbeats, his attention slides away and settles once more on the former knight. "Seem like a coward to me," he rumbles in a mild voice, the conversational tones almost at odds with the rest of his demeanor. "Seems like you do a whole lot of posturing, a whole lot of shouting, and a whole lot of killing." His lips twitch. "Or trying, anyway." Now his head falls to the side, angled slightly as he contemplates you. "How long have you been at it, Haven?"
  1576.
1577. (Order): Akimoto says, "Greetings folks, how are things?"
  1578.
1579. A sense of peace blankets the flowering beauty of the plants around you.
  1580.
1581. Riding her chariot of light, the great life-giver rises from her long sleep and shoots a timorous ray over the horizon.
  1582.
  1583. You think, "PIT!"
  1584.
1585. Teani narrows her eyes at Rashar, slowly standing up. "You're building up for a fight intentionally, aren't you?" she questions, clenching her jaws together. "You want this fight? You need it?"
  1586.
1587. (Order): Elwyn says, "I am tired but well, scribing as it was. How are you, Akimoto?"
  1588.
1589. You think, "MUST YOU TORMENT ME SO! MUST YOU REMIND ME?! I know, Seryn. I know..."
  1590.
1591. Arbre tells you, "I greatly doubt that. You love her more than you have ever loved anyone before. It makes you doubt yourself and your existence. Would you take the Blood if it meant having her as yours and yours alone? You would consider it deeply, I think."
  1592.
1593. The bright sun shines down upon you.
  1594.
1595. You have emoted: Haven manages a step forward but not much due to Teani's grip. "A century. Maybe two." His chest rises and falls with a calm steadiness as he fixates his gaze upon Rashar. "A period of upmost failure it would seem. Yes?"
  1596.
1597. (Order): Phoenecia says, "Doing alright over here."
  1598.
1599. (Order): Akimoto says, "I am quite well myself. Trying to find my footing so that I can push forward in the correct path."
  1600.
1601. (Order): Teani says, "Trying to prevent disaster."
  1602.
  1603. You tell Arbre Aquila, "Don't. DON'T!"
  1604.
1605. The wind picks up, carrying with it the scent of seawater and the sound of rolling waves. Images stir, slip themselves into your mind. A barrier, a mountain of stone upon which crashes all the fury of the ocean. It stands resolute, immobile and unaffected.
  1606.
1607. Rashar lifts his eyebrow. "I don't know, feller. You tell me.. have you accomplished anything?"
  1608.
1609. The bright sun shines down upon you.
  1610.
1611. You tell Arbre Aquila, "You will not sway me, Aquila. You do not know me."
  1612.
1613. Arbre tells you, "I know you. I know you because you -are- me."
  1614.
1615. Teani shifts her eyes to you, shaking her head ever so slightly. "Don't." she hisses. "The Lord asked you to stop it and you refuse? If you keep at it, you show Him no respect." Eyes going between the two of you, she adds. "You two fight and I'm done. You hear?"
  1616.
1617. You have emoted: Haven tilts his head back, his jaws clenching. "Nothing but pain it would seem." With a grunt, the Azudim tries to advance another step Teani willing. "Right? That is what you're here to tell me."
  1618.
1619. Casting off her final fetters, the luminous lady awakens fully, shedding her joyful light from horizon to horizon.
  1620.
1621. Darkness falls, encloaking you in shadows before dissipating into another scene. A vast range of mountains, dreadful and imposing in all their majesty. Through them winds a shimmering blue river, sometimes raging and furious, other times placid and mellow. It departs the other side, flowing into a flat plain that fades from sight.
  1622.
1623. You tell Arbre Aquila, "We are not the same you and I."
  1624.
1625. Rashar inclines his head, taking a half-step forward though his demeanor isn't aggressive. A show of confidence, perhaps, or else a blatant refusal to back down. "Lots of pain," he agrees mildly, his rumble easily filling the area around you. "Lots of death. Many great fires, so I hear." His eyes look almost inquisitive, as if begging an elaboration, but he shrugs and continues, "But how much have you -accomplished-?"
  1626.
1627. You tell Arbre Aquila, "I don't believe it."
  1628.
1629. (Order): Akimoto says, "So how did the meeting go? I hated having to miss it. Was there anything good discussed?"
  1630.
1631. Accompanying a subtle breeze, the plants around you shuffle about slightly and the rustle of their leaves rises through the air.
  1632.
1633. You think, "I'm not listening! You're dead. Dead! DEAD!"
  1634.
1635. Arbre tells you, "You do not have to if you do not wish to; it makes it no less true. I read it in the Book. We would both sacrifice so much for those we love - namely ourselves. I gave my body to masters to keep them away from her. You give your heart no notice to keep yourself away from her."
  1636.
1637. The bright sun shines down upon you.
  1638.
1639. "Back off, Rashar." Teani puts a hand to Rashar's chest to keep the distance. Her other remains on your shoulder. "Nothing good will come of this. You need to back off and let things calm down."
  1640.
  1641. Flatly, you say, "Nothing."
  1642.
1643. (Order): Elwyn says, "I will be posting about it soon."
  1644.
1645. (Order): Akimoto says, "Good, good!"
  1646.
1647. Before you lies a vast sea of life, an ocean of vegetation and civilization. Peaceful villages and beautiful cities can be seen in the distance, and between them falls nothing but verdant green grass, mysterious sprawling forests. In the center, giving life: The river, having made its way through the mountains not with blunt force, but through change. Adaptation.
  1648.
1649. You tell Arbre Aquila, "Stop."
  1650.
1651. You tell Arbre Aquila, "Just.. stop."
  1652.
1653. The bright sun shines down upon you.
  1654.
1655. You have emoted: Haven's expression sours, his shoulders sagging as he takes in Rashar's words and images both. The silence that grips him is a heavy one. He clings to it like one might a winter cloak against a frigid breeze.
  1656.
1657. Rashar makes a clicking noise with his tongue, as if the answer were expected. "I know that," he agrees. "And it seems you do as well." He seems much calmer now, and his eyes have actually lightened a bit. Flint, perhaps, but piercing unreadable still. "My question is.." One raised eyebrow, and a bit of silence. The sun is bright, brilliant and falling directly upon the well-dressed Yeleni before you as his words trail off, the pause seeming almost intentional. "What are you going to do about that?"
  1658.
1659. You think, "What I must..."
  1660.
1661. Quietly, almost mournfully, you say to Rashar, "Change."
  1662.
1663. Elwyn wanders in quietly, moving to stand near to the shrine, mixed gaze guarded as she takes in those who are gathered.
  1664.
1665. Attaining her fullest glory, the shining sun sits upon her throne at the apex of her daily trek through the firmament.
  1666.
1667. The bright sun shines down upon you.
  1668.
1669. Rashar pulls his eyes from you finally, turning to regard Teani, and a faint smile twitches and tugs, burning its way onto his lips. A knowing smile, perhaps, or else one bearing some unspoken message. He offers Elwyn the briefest of nods, as if her presence were nothing less than expected, and then turns back to you with a nod. "Exactly," he says firmly. "You need to change, feller. You're getting -nothing- accomplished. You want what I want, what we all want, yeah?" He waves vaguely. "A world free from corruption? Sunshine and roses, maybe? A better fucking place, Haven." Two steps, and that serious look is back again as he levels a finger at you. "And you're not helping one bit in bringing it, the way you are currently."
  1670.
1671. Teani narrows her eyes at Rashar. "You need to leave. Now. If you don't this will just end badly." Her voice is hard and she takes a small step up towards Rashar, without letting go of your shoulder. "You're not helping. You're provoking him and doing it in the wrong way." She puts her hand firmly at Rashar's chest, making sure he keeps his distance from you, wedging herself in between. "Back off."
  1672.
1673. Arbre tells you, "How much would you -really- sacrifice for her, though, Locke? You could make her happy, you know; and if she is happy, will you not be happy? Especially if you are the one bringing the emotion. If you could stop your little tiff with Rashar, it would be a start to pleasing her - such an easy start too."
  1674.
1675. Without looking at the woman attempting poorly to move his much larger frame, Rashar continues watching you, expression settled now, calm. "Perhaps," he murmurs. "Or perhaps not."
  1676.
1677. Though she looks calm and collected, there is a slight tension seen around Elwyn's eyes.
  1678.
1679. You have emoted: Haven's eyes are beyond Rashar now, searching. For what? He could not truly say but what he does is say, "I'll need time to think." With that said, the Azudim makes to move past Teani with the slow roll of his shoulder, aiming to leave the Tear and Chosen behind.
  1680.
1681. Rashar steps aside now, allowing you the room to make his departure. In final farewell he rumbles quietly, "You are not the only one, Haven."
  1682.
1683. Teani lets go of your shoulder, allowing you freedom enough to leave as you chooses. Her eyes remain on Rashar.
  1684.
1685. Bend in the highway. (road) (Raphaelan Highway.) (13674) [-Auresae-]
1686. The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth.
1687. You see exits leading northeast and west.
  1688.
1689. You place your fingers to your mouth, and focusing mentally on your trusty steed you blow hard, creating a sharp, carrying whistle.
  1690.
1691. You swiftly swing up onto a donkey.
  1692.
1693. You gallop away to the northeast atop a donkey.
  1694.
1695. You gallop away to the east atop a donkey. (2502)
1696. A crack in the mountainside. (Mhojave desert.) (2502) [-Haern-]
1697. A granite monument stands here, its surface polished to a shine. A sculpture of a little pony stands here. A pike with a shriveled head has been stuck here as warning to any intruder who would dare enter Bloodloch. Resting on the ground is a cube-shaped silver sigil. Like sharp teeth, a few stalagmites reach up from the ground here. Inviting closer inspection, a monument of bone displays an informative plaque. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. There are 3 stone flails here. A massive golem made of clay stands here. A stout donkey stands patiently by, waiting for a burden. A mortal heart, still dripping blood is here. A ghast eyes you with an everburning hatred in its eyes.
1698. You see exits leading south, southwest, and west.

  1700.
1701. You have emoted: Haven pulls abruptly on the reins of his mount, forcing the beast into a halt as his eyes wrinkle at the sight of the ominous crack. His expression grows dark and his lids heavy. He must be calm... He must be ready.
  1702.
1703. You think, "This was a way home once..."
  1704.
1705. You think, "Bah! You know you'd loathe to think it home again."
  1706.
1707. You tell Arbre Aquila, "Nothing good will come of this."
  1708.
1709. You tell Arbre Aquila, "Let it die."
  1710.
1711. Arbre tells you, "Roux will be happy, and that is the only good that matters."
  1712.
1713. A ghast is startled into wakefulness.
  1714.
1715. You think, "Look at them.... Vile creatures. A scourge on this realm. And you would stand with them?"
  1716.
1717. You have emoted: A storn was coming and Haven could feel it. But what did it mean? His expression sours and becomes as vile as the hatred that coils within. "She calls still..." He utters at a tone barely above a whisper to no one in particular.
  1718.
1719. You think, "How many more will you fail? How many have you already?"
  1720.
1721. The sun begins her downward journey towards eventual sleep, casting even, full light upon the land.
  1722.
1723. A ghast settles down in a corner to sleep.
  1724.
1725. You close your eyes and begin to focus on your haven.
  1726.
1727. The edges of your vision darken and begin to shroud the world around you. Only when it all seems lost, when not a shred or spec of life touch your senses, does it come. With a thunderous roar, a pillar of light and flame surges from the earth to completely envelop your frame from sole to crown. (Haven's Sanctuary)
1728. Within the unformed void. (The Havens.) (11818)
1729. A long wooden arrow lies on the floor here. A quilt depicting a multitude of bright flowers lies here.
1730. There are no obvious exits.
  1731.
1732. The aura about you fades, leaving you somewhat more vulnerable again.
  1733.
1734. You have emoted: Haven frowns and kneels to pick up the quilt depicting a multitude of bright flowers. Without rising, the former Knight tightens his grip about the fabric as a scowl becomes prominent across his features. Before long he finds himself tossing the quilt away in frustration.
  1735.
1736. You think, "Slumber. Then decide. And decide well."
