I built this team around Choice Scarf Pawniard+LO Carvanha. Pawniard ensures that your opponent's Mienfoo's Eviolite will be knocked off, meaning ZHB from Carvanha will OHKO. Onix is probably my favorite SR user in ORAS because it fills a lot of roles; here it acts as a Fletchling check, SR setter, and electric immunity all in 1 teamslot. Cottonee acts as a general catch-all on this team, checking defensive waters, fighting types, and deterring opposing setup. Gothita traps Croagunk, Timburr, and Foongus so Carvanha can sweep. In addition, it traps Staryu, which is the only spinner that can consistently spin away hazards the Onix sets. Timburr is your main Pawniard and shell smash check. I run Poison Jab to better ombat fairies and lure Cottonee, another Carv check.
