  4. __
  5.
  6. +Terran Downvale __ From where we sit in the audience this was a dubious event that lacked "sufficient proof" and had all the other necessary dots and squiggles of the lie system's distinctive signature. *I had to LOL at your juxtaposition of "mama Finch" with that angry bird character!*
  7.
  8. You know I can't get behind it without "sufficient proof" or at least a more tangible connection beyond mere likeness and "curious coincidences", _but an angry bird is all I can see now!_
  9.
  10. If the "Andrew Finch" incident had been staged for propaganda purposes (such as to deter people from "swatting", and/or to introduce "swatting" into the vernacular), then you may well be right. *But* if you are right, then there is no way to ever _know_ it, and that's a real problem.
  11.
  12. It's a problem because then every "curious coincidence" and likeness/resemblance we can imagine to exist becomes _impossible_ to rule out. The more intelligent you are the more connections you can notice, and without a way to satisfactorily rule them out, _everything_ becomes possible including everything that _isn't._
  13.
  14. So you may be right, but for the wrong reasons - and that's what ends up working against you.

  21.
  22. +Terran Downvale __ I understand, but the more intelligent you are the more coincidences you are going to be able to identify. Just as a person with a strong vocabulary will typically find more words within a set of letters than someone who has a weak vocabulary.
  23.
  24. If merely one or two coincidences aren't enough to justify suspicion, but five or more are, _then the intelligent will always trap themselves._
  25.
  26. When intelligent people _correctly_ shout "fake!" - _but for the wrong reasons_ - it always results in everyone else ignoring what they have to say (i.e., that something is "fake") because what they have to say is too easily dismissed/rejected as "insane" (i.e., what led the intelligent person to conclude "fake").
  27.
  28. That works out nicely for the lie system, and this *continues* to keep run-of-the-mill "truthers" contained and constrained. _Don't be like those "truthers"!_
  29.
  30. Let an abundance of curious coincidences be what _alerts_ you to the possibility for shenanigans, but then find ways to scrutinise a dubious event such that it *cannot* be ignored by "normal people".
  31.
  32. *If a "normal person" can dismiss what you're saying as "insane" then either it _is_ insane, or you're focusing on the wrong thing because it won't convince them, whereas "conspiracy theorists" never need _any_ such convincing!*
