[14:18] <@The_Architect_GM> The scattering of children dance towards the edges of a great bonfire as the hunters sit atop blocks of carved stone. Near its center are the premier faces of the tribe, the heroes, or the closest the tribe possesses.
[14:20] <@The_Architect_GM> The Witch, the new Chief, the weaponless warrior and the magic weapon wielder. The fifth is otherwise, sadly, indisposed on gate duty.
[14:21] <@The_Architect_GM> None of them were of the Childsway now and the men were shouting jibes and cheers as one man or another retold the tales of the Hydra or the four elemntal beasts.
[14:22] <@The_Architect_GM> A crown near a foot tall topped Crashing Wave's head, of a dozen different shades of coloured feathers, and adorned with glittering beads.
[14:24] <@The_Architect_GM> It was somewhere amongst this clatter, as the young warriors sipped horns filled with a bitter brown liquid, that a young male warrior shouted across the bonfire "where's Deadfire, he'll tell the story like he was there?!"
[14:25] <@The_Architect_GM> There was a pause before another voice rang out "Deadfire ... Deadfire got brought down by the Stro near the fishery last month you fool boy!"
[14:27] <@The_Architect_GM> A rustling could be heard on the otherside of the bonfire for a moment before one of the younger men to Crashing Wave's left turned back to him "Chief, we should head over there in our boats and get them like they've been getting us for years. There might be more of them but I heard Elonne once pushed a man made of fire to death with one punch, and your sister and them faught and slew the Hydra mother. Bet you and they could
[14:28] * Elonne nods proudly of her accomplishment with the elementals the other day
[14:29] * Elonne says nothing about Deadfire, instead sips the brown liquid from the horn meanwhile

[14:31] * `Aurora stands off to the side, polishing her axe. She eyes the newly crowned chief and the others but says nothing, looking back down.

[14:34] * Falling_Star usually kept quiet among these gatherings of the tribe - at his age, his presence here was more a product of his personal power than any real claim to manhood. That said, he wanted to avoid conflict with the Stro; if things kept progressing

[14:37] <@The_Architect_GM> "IIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Did," said Grey- something or other, a large flat faced man who stumbles warily and drunkenly through the half light from a trio of children, likely his own, who had been pulling at his hair a moment before "what is it you need my Cchief?"
[14:38] <Crashing_Wave> Concealing his distaste with an elegant pose 'Tell me what you saw that fell day.'
[14:38] * Elonne simply blinks at the drunken man
[14:39] * `Aurora rolls her eyes slightly at the new Chief's posturing, but says nothing. Her axe reflects the light of the bonfire like a single eye in the darkness of the obsidian.
[14:40] * Falling_Star is a little confused at the awfully frigid reception of Grey Fish.

[14:45] <Crashing_Wave> starts to grind his teeth. His voice is clipped, strangled of it's full passion 'I shall lead an small party to explore the Stro's lands. Who here is with me?'
