StrikerAli: Spot dodging is good. Since Luc's grab is relatively fast.

StrikerAli: I recommend mixing it up with fair. Cross up sometimes and run away or cross up and grab.

EpicSonicLatios: does force Palm grab have any follow ups? It has very low lag

StrikerAli: I usually go for a fair after fpalm.

StrikerAli: Or I bait an air dodge and grab them.

EpicSonicLatios: Should I be using dash attack that much at all?

StrikerAli: YES

StrikerAli: Not too much though

EpicSonicLatios: i know it's good for punishing

EpicSonicLatios: But don't approach with it right?

StrikerAli: Dash attack like when you're deep into the shield so they can't shield grab you.

EpicSonicLatios: ok

StrikerAli: You can approach with it. Just mix it up or condition them to thinking you'll grab.

EpicSonicLatios: what are his best oos options?

StrikerAli: Um grab, up tilt, aura sphere charge, at least that's what I use. His smash attack frames come out at like 21 and 18.

EpicSonicLatios: Is uthrow better than dthrow? I hear some people say that dthrow is actually more reliable

StrikerAli: Well it depends on DI from my experience.

StrikerAli: Dthrow can lead to big follow ups but you often have to work harder for them.

StrikerAli: Uthrow can lead into weakspot nair, fair, or you can bait an air dodge and back the fuck out of them.

EpicSonicLatios: Utilt is good after uthrow

EpicSonicLatios: thats one thing I've been using

EpicSonicLatios: But couldn't fast aerials beat that?

EpicSonicLatios: it isn't a true combo

StrikerAli: Yes they could but since you use utilt try to get them to land and grab or dash attack.

StrikerAli: Or you could bait an air dodge and usmash them.

StrikerAli: The second hitbox is HUGE

EpicSonicLatios: also this is a big issue of mine, should I play agressively, or should I play a more defensive game?

StrikerAli: Yes. However you will get frustrated with matches with Luc sometimes. It feels like he's too slow to escape or react sometimes.

EpicSonicLatios: So I have to commit to playing him if I want to get better?

StrikerAli: YES! you do. I had some days where I didn't sleep just to commit to Lucario.

StrikerAli: Of course when I could afford to.

EpicSonicLatios: Since I main fox, what are some MU's that I just shouldn't bother with lucario in?

EpicSonicLatios: Fox has no really hard MU's

StrikerAli: Pikachu,Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Rosalina. To be honest that's what I think.

StrikerAli: But I do those match ups anyway because I want to get uesd to them.

EpicSonicLatios: I might try to do the same thing just in case I come across someone who beats my fox with one of those

EpicSonicLatios: But if I am playing a sheik I will probably pull out lucario

StrikerAli: Yes that's a good idea. I main Lucario, Fox and Sonic.

StrikerAli: Lucario mu is even with Sheik.
