Resistance Animation

Roles: Strike Leader, Strike 2, Strike 3

Open on resistance base as the aircraft begin to lift off.

Opening credits before cutting to choppers speeding towards site.

Strike Leader: “Alright, we’ve got less than a ten minute window here. Keep your throttles up and heads on a swivel.”

Aerofighters pass by the choppers, leading the attack.

Strike Leader: “The southern unit’s initial strike failed, so they know we’re coming. Our target is their leader. Intel says she’s in a Grizzly.”

Hostile mechs begin to cross the bridge moving towards their dropships.

Strike 2: “I’ve got them on radar, 2 kilometers. At least four contacts.”

Strike 3: “Six contacts on magscan. Looks like two dropships just north of the bridge.”

Laserfire erupts, taking out one of the choppers.

Strike 2: “Heads up! They’ve got a Rifleman!”

Strike Leader: “Keep low and hit it from behind!”

As they fly over a hill, they fail to see a hostile ‘mech waiting in ambush, leading to several more craft being shot down. Wreckage of several aerofighters can clearly be scene littering the terrain. The strike team manages to use the terrain to their advantage, knocking one of the clanners off of the bridge and into the water below.

Strike 2: “We’re losing too many! Focus on the leader!”

Repeated strikes to the back of the Rifleman cause it to Stackpole.

Strike Leader: “I’ve got ‘er!”

The strike leader flies directly at the Grizzly, only for the ‘mech’s gauss rifle to tear directly through its cockpit and out the other side. The crashing helicopter rams into the Grizzly’s leg, bringing the ‘mech to its knees. A pair of remaining VTOLs exploit this to fire upon the Grizzly’s cockpit, shattering the glass.

The defeated ‘mech unceremoniously topples forwards onto the ground.

Victorious, the survivors of the attack pull back.

Strike 3: “Great shot, Two!”

Strike 2: “I bet those clanners aren’t too happy about now!”

Strike 3: “Let’s head home!”
