I just healed Soul of the Creator as white mage and was paired with a scholar named Cyram Atruim. We one-shot the fight, but I noticed about halfway through that he was almost always in cleric stance, using dps spells, and that I did not see many heal casts whatsoever. I had to Benediction the tank in ph1. Toward the end of the fight, I decided that I would dps more than I had been (typically I float between cleric and healing, but this guy's play forced me to almost exclusively heal and burn through much more mp than usual). I figured he'd hop out of cleric, and if he didn't heal, we were close enough to a kill for it to not matter. (If anything did start to go wrong, I'd hop back into action)
Anyway, right before the kill, and then afterwards, he starts swearing at me and yelling at me and telling me how 'bad' i am:

He left immediately after the last statement. Mearo and Tsilyi in the chat are two close friends of mine. As you can see, ALL THREE of us were trying to be politely reasonable with him (but amused at how ridiculous he was being). We did not insult or swear or anything. I know healing and am quite competent at it - it's my main role in every game, and I've done the hardcore scene before. I'm very well geared in almost full shire (not upgraded) and a sophia weapon.

After farming so much tonight to get my item from that floor and finally getting it from this run, it still feels like a punch in the gut to be treated so horribly for no reason other than the fact my cohealer didn't want to heal at all. (He was even specced into Aero and Blizzard II) No one deserves to have to carry their entire role's job and then be harassed over it. I definitely had Regen up plenty, especially on the drk MT. That is why I suggested the SCH had looked at his group frames because he would have actually seen that before I decided it was safe enough for me to go full dps just as he had been the entire encounter - which is a fairly long one.

Thank you for your time. People like this really depress me and hurt my impression of the game's community. :( There is just no reason or excuse for someone to snap to such a degree here, and no one comes out the 'winner' for it.
