  2. (2994) Narrator: Like that
  3. (2994) Narrator: We were waiting for you. ^-^
  4. (2997) Danny Green: Danny, along with Larry, make it on the dot!
  5. (2994) Narrator: Alright, everyone's characters updated?
  6. (2994) Narrator: Items, XP, etc.?
  7. (2994) Narrator: Does anyone have questions about anything before we begin?
  8. (2997) Danny Green: I wanted to ask about 1.3 and it having a different XP system?
  9. (2994) Narrator: We're using 1.29 XP chart.
  10. (2997) Danny Green: Sweet, then we're set.
  11. (2994) Narrator: It requires more XP in 1.3 to level up until LV50.
  12. (2997) Danny Green: Well, I am.
  13. (2994) Narrator: Considering I planned levels and what-not via intricate formulas, going by 1.3 causes some unwanted de-levels upon certain plot points.
  14. (2994) Narrator: Basically, you'll be lower levels than I anticipate going by 1.3.
  15. (2994) Narrator: At first, only by 1-3 levels. Nothing bad.
  16. (2994) Narrator: But eventually, it'll be a big gap of 12-16.
  17. (2994) Narrator: Which, is major.
  18. (2994) Narrator: And since I'm lazy, we'll just stick with 1.29's XP system.
  19. (2994) Narrator: Any other questions?
  20. (2997) Danny Green: I approve of this laziness - for all our sakes!
  21. (2997) Danny Green: (is getting into character like a method actor)
  22. (2994) Narrator: I love this.
  23. (2994) Narrator: Well, if there's no other questions, we can begin.
  24. whispering to Jack, Andy, DNA, Rob, (GW): What did I miss being the last person?
  25. (2994) Narrator: Alright then.
  26. (2994) Narrator: Welcome to the world of PokeMon!
  27. (2994) Narrator: Danny, Cepheus and Venec all find each other just standing outside of the PokeMon Center at the break of dawn. One side of the sky is a brilliant hue of cyan while the other is a golden orange. Kia finds herself at her own home during this hour.
  28. (2996) Kia Meyers: "Ahh I'm running late!" Kia quickly dashes around the room shoving randoms items into her bag while Artemis and V are nearby watching. She pauses for a minute to look into the mirror, "Gah, I don't even have time to do my hair. Guess it is a good thing I wear a hat." She shoves her hat on and goes running out of her house towards the pokemoncenter.
  29. (2997) Danny Green: "So guys," Danny began, "did you guys get up to any intense training montages while we were gone?"
  30. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec nodded, "a couple hours of it in fact."
  31. (2993) Cepheus White: "I myself took a jog around the city," Cepheus responded; "it was quite exhausting, yet refreshing."
  32. (2997) Danny Green: "Same!" Danny said. "And Larry finally learned Water Gun!"
  33. (2997) Danny Green: "I bet that could've been useful yesterday," Danny said with a grin.
  34. (2996) Kia Meyers: Upon reaching the pokemoncenter she spots the trio of other's waiting outside for her. "Sorry, Sorry, sorry! I defintely overslept today! Artemis and I were out late last night practing!" She heaved a little upon reaching them clearly out of breath from running.
  35. (2993) Cepheus White: "What were you practicing, exactly? You look worn out.
  36. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia's face blushes a little. "We were just practing her control over ember...so another accident doesn't happen."
  37. (2993) Cepheus White: Cepheus laughed a bit. "Yeah, I can see why you did that. ...heh."
  38. (2992) Venec Myles: "You can give me some pointers, Layla just figured out ember herself."
  39. (2997) Danny Green: "That's okay Kia," Danny said with a grin. "Larry's learned to Water Gun now!"
  40. (2997) Danny Green: "He can cover up for your mistakes now."
  41. (2996) Kia Meyers: "Well we went to that stream near route one, and I had Art focus on rock's of different sizes in the stream." Kia scratched the back of her head uncertaingly. "I just wanted to do it in a safe zone, where I knew no one could get hurt."
  42. (2996) Kia Meyers: "Awesome! That is great" Kia gave danny a bright smile.
  43. (2992) Venec Myles: "I just punched a tree a lot," Venec said.
  44. (2994) Narrator: You find that the breaking dawn turns into a melancholy gray as heavy and bloated clouds fill overhead.
  45. (2993) Cepheus White: "...The sky's getting dark; you think it's beginning to rain?"
  46. (2997) Danny Green: "Nope," Danny answered.
  47. (2992) Venec Myles: "Huh," Venec said as he looked to the sky, "Not the best day for travel. Might be a good time to mention I have found some business I want to take care of in town."
  48. (2996) Kia Meyers: "Oh?" Kia watched him curiously. "Mind if I ask what?"
  49. (2992) Venec Myles: "Do you remember the bulletin? There was a group of fighting types challenging people to battles, I hear a pokemon I've been hoping to find is with them."
  50. (2993) Cepheus White: "Ah yes, I remember that being brought up."
  51. (2997) Danny Green: "Well," Danny said, "if they're a bunch of Sudowudo, you should have no worries beating them up!"
  52. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia nodded as well. "a fighting type seems fitting for you. Mind if I join? If anything i'll atleast watch, and if you need help I can always join in."
  53. (2992) Venec Myles: "Well if I'm going to hold up the group from leaving town we might as well all go. Just remember that if you lose they are said to break your pokeballs, releasing your pokemon."
  54. (2993) Cepheus White: "If it's a bunch of Fighting Pokemon, let me go with you. Grace and I should be able to help well."
  55. (2997) Danny Green: "Larry can totally beat 'em all up!"
  56. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia nodded and smiled down at V, "Art and I had our fun last night. V want to show them what you got?"
  57. (2994) Narrator: The rumbling sound of thunder rolls overhead from the far east over to the western horizon where Viridian Forest lies.
  58. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec nodded, "Well, lets see what info we can find before we head out. If you don't want to go there is a move tutor I found, something to keep you busy during the storm." Venec spoke as if he didn't have any concern of getting caught in the rain. He turned back to the pokemon center and found the bulletin, rereading it.
  59. (2994) Narrator: A Swablu descends from the darkened clouds in a panic, swooping down just barely above the PokeMon Centers roof off down toward Route 1.
  60. (2994) Narrator: (You may PokeDex, given the amount of time you had to see it)
  61. (2997) Danny Green: "Look, up in the sky!" he 'dexes the creature. "A Bird! A Plane!"
  62. (2996) Kia Meyers: "Woah what is that??" Kia takes out her pokedex and scans it.
  63. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec Myles was already inside.
  64. (2994) Narrator: "Swablu, the Cotton Bird Pokemon. Normal and Flying type. Swablu loves cleanliness and is quick to wipe off any unclean surface with its cotton-like wings."
  65. (2993) Cepheus White: Cepheus likewise activates his machine...or rather, Jupiter beat him to the punch and did it for him.
  66. (2996) Kia Meyers: "That is not a mon you see everyday." Kia trudged back in the pokemoncenter to where Venec had dashed off to.
  67. (2997) Danny Green: "Nope," Danny agreed. "It kind of looks silly."
  68. (2993) Cepheus White: "I don't know about that. I think it looks sweet."
  69. (2997) Danny Green: Larry looked up to Danny with a blank expression.
  70. (2997) Danny Green: "Not as sweet as Larry, right?"
  71. (2994) Narrator: "Welcome back, Venec. Kia. Anything I can do for you today?" The Joy behind the front counter asked as she bowed to the both of you.
  72. (2993) Cepheus White: "No comment." He looked back up again to see if he could see any trace of the Swablu or where it was going.
  73. (2994) Narrator: Cepheus: You easily discern that it was descending at a rapid pace toward Route 1, in the direction of Pallet Town. It appeared to be descending unnaturally fast.
  74. (2997) Danny Green: Danny nudged Larry and the slowpoke expelled some water in Cepheus' direction.
  75. (2996) Kia Meyers: After reading the message board Kia looked over at Venec slightly surprised. "We actually just seen one of these swablu the bulletion board was talking about. It seemed to be heading towards route one. "
  76. (2997) Danny Green: Quickly, both Danny and Larry whistled innocently.
  77. (2992) Venec Myles: "My pokemon are a bit worn out from this morning's workout,
  78. (2992) Venec Myles: " Venec said to the Nurse.
  79. (2994) Narrator: "I see. Hand me their PokeBalls and we can bring them back to peak health."
  80. (2993) Cepheus White: "If you're both about done being children, I'm going to see if I can trace that Swablu's path." He then started walking in the direction he'd seen it fly.
  81. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec nodded and handed over his pokeballs, "Is there any more information on the pokemon theif or the fighting group?"
  82. (2997) Danny Green: "I still have two more years until I'm done being a child," Danny answered, grinning.
  83. (2994) Narrator: Cepheus: You make your way to the edge of Viridian city past the museum toward Route 1. You find the path rather straight forward and entirely downhill. (difficult terrain) There are random dips and ledges along the path making a single trip end in a long tumble.
  84. (2994) Narrator: (You do not tumble, it's just an assumption)
  85. (2997) Danny Green: Danny decided to follow along with Cepheus.
  86. (2997) Danny Green: He really liked that guy, except for Jupiter, that dastardly thing scared the poop out of him for some reason.
  87. (2994) Narrator: "Thank you." Joy says as she takes your PokeMon and sets them upon the healing machine, "The theif appears to be rather small and elongated. Most assume it's an Umbreon. My younger sister assumes its a Zorua, although that's silly, it wouldn't run around in its usual form. I think it's a Meowth."
  88. (2993) Cepheus White: "I can't even tell where the Swablu went from here..." Cepheus mentioned. "Perhaps it left some sign on the ground." Jupiter was seated comfortably on Cepheus' head, and decided to turn around to see behind Cepheus. He noticed that one trainer with his Slowpoke and his "face" changed into an angry scowl.
  89. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec sighed, "well if it's possibly a Zorua I'd have to check that out too." He shook his head. "I might have to tell everyone to go on without me and then run ahead to catch them."
  90. (2994) Narrator: "It's usually spotted around the museum. Though the band of fighters are usually along Route 1, hindering new Trainers at every turn. Most seek to travel through the woods these days to avoid them." Joy said, handing Venec back his PokeMon.
  91. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec nodded, "thank you!"
  92. (2997) Danny Green: Danny looked thoughtful for a moment as he looked around with Cepheus.
  93. (2996) Kia Meyers: "Well the other two are still outside from what I know. I guess we can go out and try and figure something out." She glanced outside really fast in an attempt to try and spot them.
  94. (2994) Narrator: Kia: You do not see anyone.
  95. (2993) Cepheus White: "Hmm, what's this?" Cepheus noted. "A trail of dirt leading downhill? This could mean something; I need to proceed carefully, however."
  96. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia frowned and walked outside in an attempt to get a better view but had no luck. "Well I guess they must of went somewhere..."
  97. (2997) Danny Green: "There seems to be some markings there," Danny said, pointing out a few splatters of dirt leading downhill to a line further down. "There's some group by a large rock."
  98. (2993) Cepheus White: There was plenty of rough terrain around, and so Cepheus tried to manage (as carefully as he could) to try and follow this trail to its terminus.
  99. (2997) Danny Green: Danny and Larry followed behind.
  100. (2993) Cepheus White: "I noticed this also," Cepheus said. "Let's see where this leads."
  101. (2994) Narrator: "Happiny, the Playhouse Pokemon. Normal type. It loves round white things. It carries a round stone in its pouch that looks like an Egg, and gives it to people that it likes. "
  102. (2994) Narrator: "Chansey, the Egg Pokemon, and the evolved form of Happiny. Normal type. Chansey is a kind Pokemon who shares its egg with those who are sick or injured. "
  103. (2994) Narrator: "Blissey, the Happiness Pokemon. Normal type. It is kindhearted and loves helping people. Blissey is the evolved form of Chansey."
  104. (2992) Venec Myles: "Hm, interesting." Venec closed his pokedex and followed after Kia.
  105. (2994) Narrator: Danny/Cepheus: Dex checks please. Whisper them to me.
  106. (2994) Narrator: Cepheus begins moving down Route 1 without much problem.
  107. (2996) Kia Meyers: " Oh it looks like they headed over there!" She points and begins to trudge towards them.
  108. (2994) Narrator: Light sprinkles of drizzle begins to randomly drop from the sky.
  109. (2993) Cepheus White: (Whose Pokedex logged the Blissey?)
  110. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec groaned at being left behind, ducked his head and ran after Kia.
  111. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia looked up as it began to drizzle and took out Artemis's pokeball and recalled her. After doing that she reached down and picked up V so that she was holding him in her arms while walking.
  112. (2994) Narrator: With Danny's first step, he trips and tumbles all the way down Route 1 with sickening grunts and loud cashes.
  113. (2997) Danny Green: Danny was walking rather happily with Cepheus until he tripped, slipped, tumbled, and fell down Route 1.
  114. (2993) Cepheus White: "Oh dear...!
  115. (2993) Cepheus White: " Cepheus exclaimed upon Danny's fall. Jupiter started snickering until Cepheus chastened him and righted Danny to his feet.
  116. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec caught up to Kia, "want my coat?" he offered after noticing the rain was bothering her more than him.
  117. (2994) Narrator: Cepheus: You find yourself in a graveyard of broken various PokeBalls. Then, looking around, you find yourself standing between a Swablu and Audino and a group of fighting pokemon. Five total, each one looking like a thug with their menacing scowls and posture.
  118. (2997) Danny Green: Danny had a very big boo-boo on his head. There was also quite a few bruises and scratches on his body now. But that wasn't the worst of it. The worst was getting to find a bunch of crazy thug-like 'mons surrounding them.
  119. (2994) Narrator: Croagunk, sitting atop the rock, Machop leaning agains the rock, and a Timburr, Tyrogue and a Mienfoo standing around it.
  120. (2997) Danny Green: "Thanks," Danny said, being helped by Cepheus.
  121. (2993) Cepheus White: "Looks like we've found the rogues, it seems..." Cepheus mentioned. "I wonder where Venec and Kia are right now?"
  122. (2994) Narrator: The Audino is kneeling over the Swablu protectively.
  123. (2994) Narrator: Venec/Kia: You may descend if you wish. Dex checks to do so.
  124. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia smiled. "No I actually like rain. Art on the other hand hates it, but thanks. " She kept trudging forward towards where Danny and Cepheus went.
  125. (2992) Venec Myles: [1d20+1] => [18,1] = (19)
  126. (2997) Danny Green: Larry walked in front of the Audino and Swablu in a protective stance. Danny, hobbling a little, did the same.
  127. (2994) Narrator: Venec struts down to the party with ease.
  128. (2993) Cepheus White: Cepheus stood at Danny's side in similar fashion.
  129. (2997) Danny Green: "I don't like bullying!" Danny proclaimed. He looked uncharacteristicly serious.
  130. (2997) Danny Green: "I also hate falling down and hitting my head!"
  131. (2994) Narrator: Kia, however, falls prey to the same misleading foundation, and with a right foot forward, flips over and begins a horrifying descent of crashes through rock, ground and air, ending in a sickening crunch along the ground.
  132. (2993) Cepheus White: "Jupiter, I'll need you to sit this one out," Cepheus spoke. "I need Grace to handle this." The Magnemite had a look of disapproval but ceded to his trainer's wishes.
  133. (2992) Venec Myles: "Is everyone okay?!"
  134. (2993) Cepheus White: "I'm all right, but I don't know about Danny or Kia." Cepheus rushed on over to Kia and tried to help her up. "You all right?"
  135. (2994) Narrator: The group of fighters all laugh out in a very human-like manner at the Humans clumsiness.
  136. (2997) Danny Green: Danny looked at Kia with a shocked face.
  137. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia sat up spinning a little. "Rather Steep hill huh?" Her left arm throbbed having fallen on it. "I guess I should have been more careful after just seeing Danny fall. I'm fine...are you ok Danny?"
  138. (2992) Venec Myles: "Kia?!" He looked at his companion in surprise, then turned a sharp glance at the group that mocked her fall. He ran in front of the group and demanded, "alright which one of you cowards will take me on first!" Venec didn't grab a pokeball, didn't send out a pokemon. He only shifted a foot back into a fighting stance and raised his fists, "Come on!"
  139. (2997) Danny Green: "No," Danny answered, "I hurt all over and I haven't even had lunch yet!"
  140. (2994) Narrator: The group looks at each other and the Croagunk nodded its head toward Venec.
  141. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia gave a small chuckle at his remark but then remembered that she had been carring V. Worried she looked around for the small pokemon hopeful he had escaped her clumsiness.
  142. (2994) Narrator: The Timburr grips its wooden pole and readies itself with a grin toward Venec.
  143. (2994) Narrator: V remained in your arms but is unharmed
  144. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec grinned at the challenge, "ready?"
  145. (2993) Cepheus White: "Grace, I'm counting on you to help Venec; you think you can do that?" Cepheus asked his Ralts, who nodded. "These ruffians are intent on doing us harm; I want you to try your very best."
  146. (2996) Kia Meyers: "I'm glad to see your ok." She manages to stand up, and apphrehensively watches as Venec prephares himself for a fight.
  147. (2994) Narrator: The croagunk nodded again, this time Tyogue jumping up beside Timburr.
  148. (2994) Narrator: Anyone else joining in, or should I begin initiative now?
  149. (2996) Kia Meyers: "V...go join in. If anything we can always give them back up."
  150. (2997) Danny Green: "Larry! You do you thing too! Stand right beside Grace!"
  151. (2994) Narrator: Alright.
  152. (2992) Venec Myles: "This is a one on one fight, everyone wait your turns."
  153. (2992) Venec Myles: "If you lose the fight, you lose the pokemon you fought with, that's there rules."
  154. (2992) Venec Myles: *their
  155. (2994) Narrator: The Croagunk chuckles but then nods in agreement with Venec.
  156. (2994) Narrator: "Rrrrroaaa."
  157. (2993) Cepheus White: "Grace...show me what you can do."
  158. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec grinned,"You want to show that trainers are nothing without their pokemon. Well I take your challenge! That's why I'll fight you with this body alone!"
  159. (2994) Narrator: Will the party let Venec fight alone?
  160. (2993) Cepheus White: (Cepheus is going to try and stay in the back row to protect the wounded.)
  161. (2997) Danny Green: Danny nodded, "Yeah! You show 'em Venec!"
  162. (2997) Danny Green: Danny looked over the beaten Pokemon behind him.
  163. (2996) Kia Meyers: (Agreed. V is just there if needed.)
  164. (2994) Narrator: Venec begins the round.
  165. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec waited for the rest to back off, watching for the Timburr to make the first move. As he sees his enemy's first movement he steps forward and thrust a fist forward. [1d20] => [8] = (8) 17-20 crit.
  166. (2992) Venec Myles: [2d8+6+6] => [6,4,6,6] = (22) fighting type damage
  167. (2994) Narrator: The Timburr endures the hit and shrugs it off with a grunt.
  168. (2994) Narrator: The Timburr grins and goes into a completely open stance, taking no defensive actions.
  169. (2994) Narrator: Venec, your turn.
  170. (2997) Danny Green: "Hmmm," Danny thought aloud, "looks like the Timburr is BIDING its time."
  171. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec stood still and looked suspiciously at the Timburr.
  172. (2992) Venec Myles: (pass)
  173. (2994) Narrator: The Timburr glares at you as you do nothing, moving its arms and beckoning you to try and attack.
  174. (2994) Narrator: Venec, your turn.
  175. (2992) Venec Myles: Obliviously thwarting the insuing move Venec stared at his opponent, "If I'm not worth your time then just smack me into the ground and be done with it. I don't want mercy hits, I don't need mercy hits." (pass)
  176. (2994) Narrator: The Timburr growls in defiance and shifts back into a fighting pose, it's eyes suddenly glimmering with focus.
  177. (2994) Narrator: Venec, your turn.
  178. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec finally took the time to punch his opponent in the face. [1d20] => [11] = (11) Crit on 17-20
  179. (2994) Narrator: The punch successfully hits Timburr in the face.
  180. (2992) Venec Myles: [2d8+6+6] => [4,2,6,6] = (18) fighting physical damage
  181. (2994) Narrator: The Timburr appears to be battered.
  182. (2994) Narrator: The Timburr, obviously taking pointers from the punch itself, throws its own fist and pounds Venec in his face, dealing 26 points of normal damage.
  183. (2996) Kia Meyers: While Kia is waiting she takes out her pokedex and scans all of the creatures along with the new pink pokemon.
  184. (2997) Danny Green: "Smart idea," Danny told Kia.
  185. (2994) Narrator: "Audino, the Hearing Pokemon. Normal type. Audino can assess a Pokemon's overall physical condition and mood using its ears. "
  186. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia nods, "More points for Team Oak is always a good thing!"
  187. (2994) Narrator: "Croagunk, the Toxic Mouth Pokemon. Poison and Fighting type. Croagunk has poison in its cheeks and can spray poison from its fingertips. It also makes noise by expanding its poison sac. "
  188. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec took the hit, battered himself but still ready for the fight, "That's more like it! How about this!" [1d20] => [15] = (15) Crits 17-20
  189. (2993) Cepheus White: "If that Croagunk hits Venec he might be down for the count in no time..." Cepheus stated.
  190. (2992) Venec Myles: [2d8+6+6] => [7,2,6,6] = (21) fighting physical damage
  191. (2994) Narrator: The Timburr is successfully hit by another fist.
  192. (2997) Danny Green: Danny got closer to the Audino and Swablu to check if the pair are hurt or not.
  193. (2994) Narrator: The Timburr nearly drops to one knee, severely battered by this point.
  194. (2994) Narrator: Rather than continue, the Timburr submits.
  195. (2994) Narrator: Danny: Swablu is barely conscious. Audino is in perfect health.
  196. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec smiled and nodded in respect, "You hit hard, if you were any faster I would be down."
  197. (2996) Kia Meyers: At Cepheus's comment, Kia watches the fight concerned. "You can do it Venec!"
  198. (2997) Danny Green: Danny will use a Potion on the Swablu.
  199. (2994) Narrator: "Machop, the Superpower Pokemon. Fighting type, Machop have muscles that never tire no matter how much they excercise. Machop have enough strength to throw 100 average sized adults. "
  200. (2994) Narrator: The Swablu is completely healed.
  201. (2994) Narrator: "Mienfoo, the martial art PokeMon. Fighting type. They have mastered elegant combos. As they concentrate, their battle moves become swifter and more precise. "
  202. (2997) Danny Green: Danny smiled at the little bird. "There," he said. "All is good!"
  203. (2993) Cepheus White: Cepheus glanced at the Swablu, who appeared to be in good spirits. He smiled slightly.
  204. (2994) Narrator: "Tyrogue, the Scuffle Pokemon. Fighting type. Tyrogue is the pre-evolved form of Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. It has a small but very energetic body. "
  205. (2994) Narrator: The Swablu coo'd in response and stood on its own while the Croagunk stood from its rock, and put its hands on its hips. "Roooo! ROooaa. Nnnk." The Croagunk gestures to all of them and then puts up a single finger, then motions to one of Venec's PokeBalls."
  206. (2994) Narrator: Minus the ".
  207. (2994) Narrator: Grace shakes her head and sits on the ground.
  208. (2997) Danny Green: "I see," Danny said, "if we lose, our balls are broken. If they lose, then they are captured."
  209. (2994) Narrator: Croagunk shook its head and then extends a single finger again.
  210. (2997) Danny Green: "I like my idea better," Danny told the Croagunk. "Sounds WAY cooler."
  211. (2993) Cepheus White: "Yeah, for US, anyway. You think they're going to give up without a fight?"
  212. (2993) Cepheus White: "Anyway, I think they said that if Venec wins, he's allowed one of his choice."
  213. (2994) Narrator: Croagunk shrugs at Danny and then beckons him to fight it.
  214. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia watched still concerned. "I think they want to fight one of Venec's pokemon."

  220. (2997) Danny Green: Danny does a raspberry back at the Croagunk.

  222. (2994) Narrator: Croagunk shrugs again and then turns its back to Danny, placing its hands on its hips.
  223. (2997) Danny Green: Danny does the same, turning back in a mocking gesture, hands on his hips.
  224. (2996) Kia Meyers: "Danny I don't know if I would_" She paused and continued to watch the mocking fest go on.
  225. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec took a bow to his worthy opponent and sat back down, but on the side of the fighting pokemon and asked the ones in the back, "so what started all of this?"
  226. (2994) Narrator: The Croagunk turns before giving a ton of gutteral sounds.
  227. (2994) Narrator: Grace face turns into one of horror and suddenly grips Cepheus' leg, whimpering.
  228. (2994) Narrator: Croagunk makes the gestures of a human, walking, talking and reaching for PokeBalls. Then, makes the gestures of being defeated, the other pokemon joining in as advesaries.
  229. (2994) Narrator: Then, Croagunk makes a dismissive wave of its hand and making the motion of walking away and he group whimpers pathetically.
  230. (2993) Cepheus White: "I think Croagunk is wanting to fight Venec...waiting for a real adversary."
  231. (2993) Cepheus White: "These five, they were abandoned by their own trainers, hence why they have shown disdain for people in general."
  232. (2993) Cepheus White: Cepheus quickly glances at Grace to make sure he got the facts right.
  233. (2994) Narrator: Grace makes a motion of so-so.
  234. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia frowned, "I hate trainer's like that. Why would someone just abdoan their pokemon."
  235. (2994) Narrator: The Croagunk growls at Kia's words.

  238. (2994) Narrator: Grace seems stunned by the obvious Human-like speech.

  240. (2997) Danny Green: "It didn't sound like English to me."
  241. (2997) Danny Green: "It sounds like Klingon!"
  242. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia frowns even more, and without even doubting that the pokemon had spoken english replied. " Well they must of been pretty dumb to say that you were weak. There are good trainer's out there..not everyone is like those trainer's I can assure you."
  243. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec nodded, "I had a feeling." He then shook his head. "And then, what place does a human ever have calling a pokemon weak? After being carried leg after leg on his journey by the pokemon whose strength they mock," Venec's voice grows increasingly imbittered, "they leave them behind as if the human had right to decide what was strong and what wasn't."
  244. (2993) Cepheus White: "...Pokemon have feelings too; they have lives, they have dreams; why should humans want to stand in the way like that? Is not every life sacred...?"
  245. (2994) Narrator: Croagunk shakes it's head, "Nnnnnunk."
  246. (2997) Danny Green: "I don't think breaking a bunch of innocent people's pokeballs is justified, though."
  247. (2994) Narrator: With that statement, Grace stands at the ready and gives a shrill at the Croagunk who blatently ignores her. She gives a second shrill before nudging at Cepheus and walks over to the Croagunk, standing at the ready.
  248. (2993) Cepheus White: "Grace...are you sure you want to fight them...?"
  249. (2993) Cepheus White: "or...are you trying to talk with them?"
  250. (2997) Danny Green: "I reckon Grace could beat up that Croagunk."

  252. (2994) Narrator: Croagunk: "Pfft."
  253. (2997) Danny Green: Danny stuck his tongue out at the Croagunk.
  254. (2993) Cepheus White: "You want to prove that psychics can fight just as well as martial artists, Grace?" Cepheus stated. "Very well. It's your decision and I won't stand in the way."
  255. (2994) Narrator: Croagunk steps surprisingly slow over to Danny. Grace follows closely.
  256. (2994) Narrator: Croagunk sticks out its tongue to Danny. Suddenly, a needle flies out of its mouth in Danny's direction.

  269. (2994) Narrator: With a rage that no one knew Grace had, her body glows a bright pink and suddenly, Croagunk's head explodes,, splattering its remains in a circle around it.
  270. (2994) Narrator: A sudden silence befalls all PokeMon in the area.
  271. (2997) Danny Green: "Bummer," Danny half-breathed, "I really wanted to catch 'em."
  272. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia took a few steps back in shock.
  273. (2993) Cepheus White: Cepheus was at a total loss for words. Even with Grace being so very angry at the Croagunk, there's no way he saw that coming.
  274. (2994) Narrator: Grace stands proud, posing before glaring at the at the remaining fighting types. Now giving commanding shrills.
  275. (2997) Danny Green: "I think Grace just became the resident badass."
  276. (2993) Cepheus White: "...I can only agree with you."
  277. (2994) Narrator: The Fighting types make no attempt to protest and all kneel down in defeat.
  278. (2997) Danny Green: "I mean, badbum!" Danny looked innocently.
  279. (2996) Kia Meyers: "W-well. I guess that was one way to settle things."
  280. (2994) Narrator: Grace takes a moment before realizing something and then steps over to Venec and pokes one of his PokeBalls then points to the kneeling figthers.
  281. (2993) Cepheus White: "I think they just established Grace as their queen. ...Should we start dividing the spoils or something?"
  282. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec looked on with a weary expression, muttering, "it's not supposed to end that way." He looked down at grace, "I get to catch one?"
  283. (2994) Narrator: Grace nods and gestures to the group who remain motionless.
  284. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec stood and walked over to them, "I'm sorry it ended that way." He looked them over and kneeled before the Meinfoo. "Would you like to come with me?"
  285. (2994) Narrator: The Audino cowers in fear behind the nearest Trainer.
  286. (2994) Narrator: The Mienfoo nods and turns to Venec.
  287. (2994) Narrator: The Audino realizes that Danny was the won that instigated the slaughter and instead hides behind Kia.
  288. (2994) Narrator: The Swablue is paralyzed with fear.
  289. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec held out a pokeball and touched it to the Meinfoo's head.
  290. (2993) Cepheus White: Cepheus feels incredibly awkward, given how his Pokemon effectively silenced everyone. He has absolutely no idea what he should be doing.
  291. (2994) Narrator: The Meinfoo accepts capture fully.
  292. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia turns and tries to comfrot the poor pokemon. "I promise..no one is going to hurt you. That...wasn't suppose to happen that way."
  293. (2994) Narrator: The Audino looks up to Kia with tears.
  294. (2994) Narrator: The Swablu shows a sign of electricity keeping it paralyzed.
  295. (2994) Narrator: Grace steps over to Cepheus and gestures.
  296. (2997) Danny Green: Danny used a Paralyze Heal on the Swablu.
  297. (2996) Kia Meyers: She frowns and tries to embrace the pokemon."There, there...everything will be ok."
  298. (2993) Cepheus White: "I don't think I should be taking any of them, Grace," Cepheus answered. "It wouldn't feel right."
  299. (2994) Narrator: The Swablu suddenly regains motor functions and attempts to fly away but is too panicked to fly.
  300. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec put a hand on Cepheus' shoulder as he walked back to the group, "It would be worse to leave them alone in the wild like this, wouldn't it?"
  301. (2994) Narrator: The Audino clings to Kia, obviously turning from the blood splatter and brain matter.
  302. (2993) Cepheus White: ".....You're right, actually. That would just keep perpetuating things."
  303. (2994) Narrator: Grace's attention falls to the Audino and desperately failing at fleeing Swablu.
  304. (2996) Kia Meyers: "Do you have a family or somewhere to go?" Kia talked to the pokemon in an attempt to distract it from the scene in front of them.
  305. (2993) Cepheus White: "Even so I'm not sure what to do..."
  306. (2992) Venec Myles: "He picked a fight he wasn't ready to win. He attacked outside of the rules that were set up. It's not your fault. It's not Grace's fault."
  307. (2993) Cepheus White: "It almost feels like forced capture. I don't want to capture any Pokemon that's unwilling; it would be against everything I stand for."
  308. (2997) Danny Green: Danny paused, "Maybe we should name ourselves Team Croagunk in its memory?"
  309. (2994) Narrator: The Audino shakes its head before looking over the Swablu.
  310. (2992) Venec Myles: "They don't want to be alone, I think."
  311. (2993) Cepheus White: Cepheus sighed a bit to himself. "I came here to trail the Swablu and now we have a death on our hands. Oh dear."
  312. (2997) Danny Green: "What do you mean 'our hands'?"
  313. (2994) Narrator: Grace's eyes sparkle to the mention of Swablu.
  314. (2993) Cepheus White: "Fine, my hands, if you want to put it that way."
  315. (2994) Narrator: She begins walking over to Swablu.
  316. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia watched the swablu for a few seconds. "Prehaps you should try and catch it Cepheus...it is what you came for, and it looks like it needs someone to help calm it down."
  317. (2997) Danny Green: "Y'know," Danny said, "that birdy thing might be jittery. But it's adorable!"
  318. (2993) Cepheus White: "...All right. That's a sound idea, Kia. And as for the other 3 fighters...why not take them to the professor? I'm sure he could find a trainer for them."
  319. (2993) Cepheus White: Cepheus walked slowly over to the Swablu, who was still quite clearly shaken by the ordeal. "You all right?" he asked.
  320. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia looked down at the Audino. "Would you like to come with me? I promise to protect you. If not I will completely understand."
  321. (2994) Narrator: Audino, takes a moment to contempalte and nods.
  322. (2994) Narrator: The three fighting types stand and move behind Cepheus in a mod-like manner, obviously following his orders and protecting him.
  323. (2994) Narrator: Grace makes it to the Swablu and stands at the ready.
  324. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia takes a pokeball out and holds it up to the pokemon. "I'm sorry....we had to meet under these conditions, but I promise I will always take care of you."
  325. (2994) Narrator: Audino smiles before tapping the PokeMon willingly and accepting capture.
  326. (2993) Cepheus White: "No, don't do that!" Cepheus chided Grace. "It's been through enough already." He took a Poke Ball from his belt and offered it to the Swablu. "Would you like to come with us? I vow to keep you safe from harm."
  327. (2994) Narrator: The Swablu cowers when Cepheus' raises his voice and turns to him, when the PokeBall is offered it nods with a still scared expression on its face.
  328. (2994) Narrator: Ralts flinches at Cepheus' command and nods before standingly idly.
  329. (2993) Cepheus White: Cepheus sets his Poke Ball at the Swablu's feet and waits.
  330. (2994) Narrator: Swablu glances to Grace who glares at Swablu and scampers into the ball for safety.
  331. (2994) Narrator: Grace turns to Cepheus with a big smile and claps her hands together happily.
  332. (2993) Cepheus White: "I think we should probably head back, and get these 3 Pokemon to the professor. What say the rest of you...?"
  333. (2997) Danny Green: "I would dare disagree with you," Danny said in mock-fear.

  335. (2993) Cepheus White: "And Grace, I think you're a bit too enthused about this...Death isn't something to celebrate."
  336. (2992) Venec Myles: "That sounds good. Maybe check with the pokemon center first for reward?"
  337. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia nodded agreeing. "Also I want to ask the professor about cherry." She turned towards Danny while talking. "I'm still not sure ow I feel about its...condition."

  339. (2994) Narrator: Grace poses dramatically before turning to the Figthers and points to Cepheus and gives a commanding squeak.
  340. (2994) Narrator: Afterward, Grace returns to her Pokeball.
  341. (2994) Narrator: The fighters turn to Cepheus and bows to him.
  342. (2993) Cepheus White: "Let's get to the Center first and heal everyone up. Then we can talk to the professor." He then looks down at the 3 fighters at his feet. "If you wouldn't mind following us...?"
  343. (2994) Narrator: The trio nods.
  344. (2997) Danny Green: Danny gets beside Larry and puts a hand to his chin. He thought carefully. "I reckon, Larry," he said, "that you might have some competition."
  345. (2994) Narrator: Larry gives a very slow chuckle.
  346. (2994) Narrator: Or a yawn.
  347. (2994) Narrator: It's difficult to tell.
  348. (2997) Danny Green: "So adorable..." he cuddles Larry.
  349. (2993) Cepheus White: "If only Jupiter could see this..." Cepheus said. Speak of the devil, Jupiter's Poke Ball popped open and was surprised to see that Cepheus had new Pokemon at his feet.
  350. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia walks over and picks V up. "I'll try to be a little more careful on my way up. Danny, you should be careful as well." She looks nervously up the steep hill that they had fallen down.
  351. (2993) Cepheus White: It looked back and forth as if to ask "What just happened?"
  352. (2994) Narrator: You do not need to make any checks to climb back to Viridian.
  353. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec looked up at the falling rain before taking everyone elses lead back.
  354. (2993) Cepheus White: Then he glanced towards Cepheus' arm and saw some blood splatter on it. Jupiter cringed.
  355. (2993) Cepheus White: "I'll explain when we get back," Cepheus told the magnet, "but you might not like it."
  356. (2997) Danny Green: "You've totally been replaced as Cepheus' Ace," Danny nodded.
  357. (2993) Cepheus White: Jupiter glanced at Danny with an angry look. "Liar!"
  358. (2997) Danny Green: Danny looked back with an angry face of his own. He then put a couple fingers on his temple and made a constipated expression. "Uggggghhhhhhhnnnnn..."
  359. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia chuckles at their antics and follows Venec back towards the pokemon center.

  364. (2994) Narrator: You all make it up the hill to Viridian, avoiding the holes, ledges and broken tree stumps along the way. As you enter into town, the rain intensifies to a steady downpour and you all are soaked.
  365. (2994) Narrator: When you return to Viridian, the town looks almost deserted and the water seems to pool randomly around town, giving a small warning of possible flooding. The PokeMon Center is warm and dry and you find that many Trainers have come to it for sheltr.
  366. (2993) Cepheus White: "Lot of people inside, it seems..." Cepheus remarks.
  367. (2996) Kia Meyers: "It feels good in here." Kia looks around at the different trainers and their pokemon.
  368. (2997) Danny Green: "I'll buy myself a lemonade or some water," Danny said, appearing a little worse for wear.
  369. (2994) Narrator: You find three adult nurse Joys handing out cups of tea to many Trainers and that all seating is currently occupied by Humans and PokeMon, "Welcome to the Center again, Team. Would you all like some tea and a change of clothes? Don't want you to get sick."
  370. (2994) Narrator: "For any purchases, see my daughter at the shop."
  371. (2993) Cepheus White: "That would be very nice, please," Cepheus answers.
  372. (2994) Narrator: Joy hands Cepheus a ceramic cup of hot, unsweetened tea.
  373. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia nods " I will change in a bit, but first I think I might need to restockon pokeballs." Kia makes her way towards the shop.
  374. (2992) Venec Myles: "Miss Joy?" Venec asked, "we solved one of hte posted incidents, who do we talk to about that?"
  375. (2997) Danny Green: "Well, if the tea is free," Danny said, darting right back.

  381. (2993) Cepheus White: Cepheus sips a bit of his and feels a bit refreshed from the rain, then answered Joy's question. "The one with the Fighting-type ruffians. They're with us in tow, actually."
  382. (2992) Venec Myles: "The fighting pokemon group," Venec stood aside, looking at the ones following them.
  383. (2994) Narrator: Joy looks over the PokeMon before turning back to them, "I see. You must've captured them all. One moment I'll I gather the cash reward."
  384. (2997) Danny Green: Danny drank the cup of tea with a happy, satisfied expression. Just what the doctor ordered.
  385. (2994) Narrator: Joy exits the building. A few Trainers look over your group from time to time.
  386. (2993) Cepheus White: Jupiter looks back at a few of them with a stare of his own; "What are YOU looking at?"
  387. (2993) Cepheus White: Of course he can't speak, but he's making it evident that staring is rude.
  388. (2997) Danny Green: Danny waved cheerfully at them, which was completely contary to Jupiter's reaction. He would also make faces behind Jupiter when it wasn't looking.
  389. (2993) Cepheus White: After about the 3rd stare Cepheus noticed this and said "Jupiter! Learn some manners. Danny, stop taunting Jupiter."
  390. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec visibly relaxes as the Nurse leaves, he wasn't usually comfortable around women.

  402. (2992) Venec Myles: "Thank you." Venec mumbled and fisted the money into his pocket, which was still dry thanks to his thick longcoat.

  406. (2996) Kia Meyers: "Alright, sounds good to me!" Kia places the pokeballs on the counter and goes back to reterieve another. Once she reaches the counter she digs out the money for the pokeballs and hands it to the nurse. "Here is 1200."
  407. (2993) Cepheus White: "I should probably get to the lab the first chance I get, but I bet this rain isn't going to let up any time soon..."
  408. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec goes to a quieter corner and sends out meinfoo.
  409. (2994) Narrator: "Moolah!" The younger Joy exclaims as she swipes the cash before producing a Premier ball, "Here's your freebie for buyin' six PokeBalls! Thank you, I hope to see you again!" She bows to you.
  410. (2997) Danny Green: Danny grabbed 2 Antidote, 1 Paralyze Heal, 2 bottles of Fresh Water, and 4 PokeBalls. He went to the counter to find out the full bill.

  412. (2996) Kia Meyers: "Thank you!" Kia turns and heads back towards where she had left the others.
  413. (2994) Narrator: The younger Joy's eyes sparkle and she rings up all the items, "That'll be 2100 Pokedollars. Git two more PokeBalls and I give ya sumthin' for free!"

  480. (2993) Cepheus White: Jupiter felt like slapping Danny solidly across the face for his brashness, but opted not to...yet.
  481. (2996) Kia Meyers: "Of course not." She turned blushing. "Alright....everyone want to head to the lab now?" As she spoke she noticed Venec head towards the young nurse. "Well after he is done that is."
  482. (2993) Cepheus White: "Is it still raining outside or has it calmed down?"
  483. (2994) Narrator: She turns to Venec and grins, "Hellos! Miles! Your family lives nearby, right? Think I healed your dad once or sumthin'. And nah, no stones here. They're at the other Mart in town. Y'know, eggs, TMs, and random assortments of...hey, whatcha lookin' at?" She follows his gaze, "Ghost PokeMon?"
  484. (2994) Narrator: The downpour continues outside of the glass windows.
  485. (2992) Venec Myles: "I-I um... no." He stuttered, growing more flustered. "I mean I am Myles!" he blurted a little too loudly. Then grew quiet. ... "thank you" he quickly took his leave of the pokemon center with his eyed down.
  486. (2994) Narrator: She watches Venec stutter and leave and then looks around, "Was he hit with a Mean Look or Scary Face? But I dun see 'nuthin'!"
  487. (2993) Cepheus White: "...We should probably be going..." Cepheus excuses himself and begins to head for the door.
  488. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia nods and follows.
  489. (2994) Narrator: When you all step outside you are all forced to move in your surface speed.
  490. (2994) Narrator: The water has now flooded to halfway up your shins and you are forced to manuever around random PokeMon swimming in the water.
  491. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec breathed in the wet air and sighed, letting the barrage cool him off.
  492. (2994) Narrator: Mienfoo pats Venec's back.
  493. (2993) Cepheus White: "It's practically flooding out here..." Cepheus noted. "Jupiter, stay close." The magnet complied and remained seated on his head.
  494. (2996) Kia Meyers: Kia waded her way through the rain. She still was holding V close. "Do we still want to head out?"
  495. (2992) Venec Myles: "Thanks, Rhea," Venec smiled to her, emphasising her name. He then turned to the sorry folks who followed him outside, "well, we might just want to call the professor. This might actually be dangerous."
  496. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec made his way back in quickly, trying to hide his gaze from the younger joy he made a fool of himself in front of.
  497. (2993) Cepheus White: "...Venec's probably right." He slowly backed inside, his trouser hems slightly wet from the rain.

  499. (2994) Narrator: The older Joy looks up at all of you as you enter, "Welcome back Team. Would you all like a room for the night? The rain got kind of heavy, but come morning the Sunflora will probably use Sunny Day to clear things up."
  500. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec nodded, "Yeah, it's still pretty early so it would be good to know what facilities you have, I'd like to get some training in."
  501. (2994) Narrator: "Well, there's the Arena downstairs. No one's using it currently, but you can always challenge someone or one of your allies."
  502. (2997) Danny Green: Danny looked at Jupiter with a determined expression. "The battle of the century!"

  504. (2992) Venec Myles: Venec turned to his friends, "how about we finish the day with a four person tag battle?"

  516. (2994) Narrator: Joy produces four pieces of paper and writes on them, she then places them in her hands with the numbers covered, "Venec, Danny, Kia and then Cepheus.

  518. (2996) Kia Meyers: "I got number three. "Kia spoke after she had already drawn a straw.

He was so wrapped up in it that he didn't even notice the rest of his company walk in. Then again, he was at the other end of the room and didn't have a clear view of the stairs.
