That's Julian Assange. I think it's six years ago. And it's in London somewhere. And I didn't really- I have too much on my plate right now. And so, he's talking about, where's the Rachel Maddows, where's the Christopher Hayes, where's the- uh, Howard Finemans, and all of these others, at CNN, sticking up for a fellow journalist? I don't know. We have someone here, on the show, who has spoken out in favor, in no uncertain terms, and, you know, he and I don't agree on a lot of things, but certainly...here's someone that, you know, is a Trump supporter, but is a Julian Assange supporter and it's- Roger- why do they always call you a trickster, rather than say, a political consultant?

ROGER STONE
Well, I think maybe that's a title the Democrats hung on me over the years...at a certain point, it became easier to just go with it, than dispute it. But I'll tell you one thing, Randy, there's one trick that is not in my bag, and that is treason.

CREDICO
Right.

STONE
The whole notion that I have colluded with the Russians, and, more specifically, the notion that Julian Assange is a Russian asset, and that Wikileaks is a Russian asset, is completely, totally false. There's no evidence whatsoever.

CREDICO
Right.

STONE
Assange is a hero - yes, he's breaking the law, but he is-

CREDICO
WHAT LAW IS HE BREAKING? What law is he breaking?

STONE
Well- I think hacking is illegal, but-

CREDICO
He doesn't hack, though.

STONE
Well, somebody hacks, and he publishes.

CREDICO
Right.

STONE
The point I'm making is, even if he is breaking the law - Martin Luther King broke the law too. Because he had too. Because there are larger, more important laws being broken. Julian Assange has exposed corruption, and self-dealing at the highest levels of government. So, I- Yes, I think that sometimes whistleblowers have to break the law. For the greater good.

CREDICO
Well, I-

STONE
Sometimes those laws are designed to keep the American people in the dark.

CREDICO
Well, I get arrested at times through protesting police brutality, or protesting stop and frisk, so I understand. People do break the law. Whatever, if it really is a- If there's a law here that he broke, I'm not aware of it. That's not the point. I wanted to ask you, because you, and I saw this, only because I was looking at the Wikileaks feed, on the twitter account, and they tweeted out that Roger Stone has condemned Mike Pompeo the CIA Director and said he should resign. Could you elaborate on that?

STONE
Yes. I was very disturbed last week, when I saw that the new CIA Director came out and flatly said that Wikileaks was a Russian asset, and that Julian Assange was essentially a handmaiden for the Russian government. That is false. And, of all people, Mr. Pompeo should know it's false, but unfortunately, what this tells me is, he's buying whatever steaming plate of B.S. the bureaucrats and neo-cons at the CIA are dishing up to him. We need somebody who'll clean house at the CIA, where violation of our civil rights and civil liberties have been outrageous. They lied about Benghazi, they lied about rendition, they lied about whether there was torture at Abu Gharib prison, they have a long legacy of lies.

CREDICO
Going way back. About the Iraq war. The Iraq war.

STONE
Vietnam. The Kennedy assassination. Guatemala. You can go as far back as the beginning. It's interesting that even President Harry Truman, who signed legislation that formed and authorized the CIA, by 1963, he had concluded it was the biggest mistake of his presidency. That they were a rogue agency. And now they are out to smear Julian Assange, to smear Wikileaks, and it is an outrage. Here's what I propose, Randy: Director Pompeo has five days to produce for the American people, proof, indisputable proof, that Wikileaks is a Russian asset, or that Asange is working with the Russians. And if he cannot do so, he must resign. And if he does not resign, the president should fire him.

CREDICO
-should fire him.

STONE
It was Donald Trump who said, "I love Wikileaks!"

CREDICO
Alright. Yes.

STONE
The president knows they're not-

CREDICO
[doing a Trump impression that sounds nothing like him, first part is Don Corleone, second part is an anglo Ren, from "Ren & Stimpy"] It's a great outfit, it's a great- WIKILEAKS! I LOVE WIKILEAKS! I LOVE WIKILEAKS! [out of mercy, drops the impression] Now let me, Roger...this investigation in the House, it seems like it's fading away, because the president has done what they've wanted, which is the saber rattling with Russia, and going into Syria, but is still in the back burner? Are you still uh you know in line to testify before this Schiff Committee, shifty Schiff Intelligence Committee of the House?

STONE
Yes. I mean, Adam Schiff is the Sammy Glick of the U.S. House [CREDICO laughs loudly] I mean, the man's so desperate to get to the U.S. Senate, that he thinks he's going to do so by stepping over _my_ body, has maligned me in public, basically said I knew about the hacking of John Podesta's emails, that were later published by Wikileaks - that's a lie. I never said anything of the kind, nor is there any evidence of that claim that I knew in advance about the scope and timing and content of Wikileaks disclosures in October of last year...you know, Wikileaks themselves, Randy, tweeted on July 31st of last year, that they had an enormous amount of material on Hillary Clinton and they would release it in October.

CREDICO
Yes, I know.

STONE
So, I'm not sure what the big state secret was here. But-

CREDICO
He's [Schiff is] throwing hail marys. He's throwing hail marys.

STONE
And in the American system, you know we have a right to examine the evidence against us, and to face our accusers. And I think I should have a right to appear before the House Intelligence Committee, and tell them the truth. But I don't think they can handle the truth.

CREDICO
[does the Jack Nicholson impression you heard too often in elementary school] Hey, they can't handle the truth. It's Nicholson's line. [goes out of impression] Listen, Roger, I got just a few seconds left, I'm looking forward to you going before the Adam Schiff Committee, because I know you'll bury them, and I got a feeling they're gonna back off. We have to run, Roger, we're gonna play "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime" by Yip Harburg for you, but it's not by Jolson, it's by Bing Crosby. Can we get you back, in a couple of weeks, Roger?

STONE
You can, but you got to promise to play the version by Jolson.

CREDICO
You got it. You got it.
