- arrive - I got home. I got to school early. She got to class late. I got into the pool. I got off the bus.
- (get + preposition + noun usually has this meaning)
- receive/obtain: First I didn’t have ____. Then I got ____. Now I have ____.
- become/arrive: First I wasn’t _____. Then I got ____. Now I am ____. (more or less)
