  1. [23:11:46] <Owen> Behold! A tale of monsters and magic, twice declared by its maker to be dead, and now: REBORN!
  2. [23:11:54] <Owen> You KNOW you want to be the very best!
  3. [23:12:09] <Owen> Intro: While having fun and enjoying human food is a nice distraction, our heroes must not be distracted from the GLORIOUS REVOLUTION! It will come one day, and they must try to further the cause!
  4. [23:12:18] <Owen> We join them in their camp at nighttime as they prepare for an ambush of less-than-trivial proportions!
  5. [23:18:16] * Marina is wearing sunglasses. At night. She is THAT COOL.
  6. [23:18:58] * MissD simply blends into the dark save for her red eyes~
  7. [23:19:09] <MissD> 14 hehe~ Wht are we doing today Marina~?
  8. [23:19:18] * Marina shushes her!
  9. [23:19:30] <Marina> {"Shh! It's a stakeout!"}
  10. [23:19:41] * MissD nods.
  11. [23:19:46] * Komacho crouches nearby, with butterflies in her stomach. She's excited about getting a chance for a fight.
  12. [23:20:46] <Marina> {"I thought we went over this! The truck's gonna come by some time tonight! It always comes by on Fridays!"}
  13. [23:21:04] <MissD> 15 Ok~
  14. [23:21:14] * MissD speaks in a lower tone~
  15. [23:21:54] * Marina lifts her sunglasses for a few seconds to check the road. Nope. Nothing yet. She returns the glasses to her face.
  16. [23:22:26] <MissD> 15 So can I play the dead girl who gets runned over~?
  17. [23:23:20] <Marina> {"Hey, sounds like a plan!"}
  18. [23:23:23] * Marina thumbs up!
  19. [23:23:54] <Marina> {"Anything we can do to stop the truck! We can't let the shipment get through, that's the number one thing!"}
  20. [23:24:15] * MissD cheers~
  21. [23:24:16] <MissD> Yay!
  22. [23:28:58] * Kovacs adjusts her tie so it'll be tougher to take off later, just in case she gets attacked like that.
  23. [23:36:02] <Marina> GM: [A long, long ways off, a delivery truck rolls down the highway, making its weekly shipment to the local supply stores. It's too far to be sensed by mortals, but those without a mortal coil just have ways of knowing sometimes...]
  24. [23:37:11] <MissD> Ooh~
  25. [23:37:19] <MissD> It's almost here Kovacs, get ready ok~?
  26. [23:39:12] * Marina overhears whispers!
  27. [23:39:13] * Kovacs nods, looking rather serious.
  28. [23:39:19] <Marina> {"Huh! Whazzat?"}
  29. [23:39:48] <Marina> {"Be a team player, none-a that whispering junk! What up?"}
  30. [23:40:01] * MissD walks up into the middle of the street/road , making her self really visible to anyone in front of her...she turns to them and gives them a signal.
  31. [23:40:22] <MissD> You told us to be quiet though...
  32. [23:40:55] * Marina forgets to whisper, because Miss D no longer is either.
  33. [23:41:12] <Marina> "Wait, the truck's coming? I don't see nothin'!"
  34. [23:41:29] <MissD> Waiting for it now~... shhh...
  35. [23:41:35] * Marina squints through her sunglasses. She has PERFECT VISION and sees no truck! Nope, none!
  36. [23:42:00] * MissD starts to become transparent, as she stands still on the road.
  37. [23:42:24] * Kovacs starts to look around for something to slow the truck down with...
  38. [23:44:17] * Marina is not convinced! Those ghosts, they're too detached from the real world. They don't know THE SCORE.
  39. [23:46:15] <Marina> GM: [The truck's headlights come into view as Marina paces by herself oblivious thinking of the best way to stop the truck. The driver is used to this road and isn't paying the best of attention...]
  40. [23:46:59] <MissD> one... two... Three~
  41. [23:47:18] * MissD slowly gains visibility as the drivers comes closer and closer.
  42. [23:47:19] * Komacho looks down the road in anticipation
  43. [23:48:14] * Kovacs keeps out of view for the moment, instead opting to wait until the driver is in close to surprise him.
  44. [23:49:25] <Marina> GM: [The driver thinks he sees some mist or fog in the road. He slows down a little, but as the distance closes he focuses a little better...]
  45. [23:50:20] * MissD turns to the car/truck in horror(totally true!) as she turns a glowing dark purple with her red eyes, she screams her trademark scream!~
  46. [23:51:56] * Kovacs quietly zooms over to the cab in an effort to get inside while the driver is distracted.
  47. [23:52:29] <Marina> GM: [The driver sees a girl or girl-like SOMETHING, and suddenly slams on the breaks as his heart skips a beat! The truck starts to fishtail and go off the road, but slows down enough to not roll over.]
  48. [23:53:03] * MissD get "knocked" over as she lies on the road, clearly dead...
  49. [23:53:07] <MissD> ....
  50. [23:53:28] * Komacho is thoroughly surprised by the entire scene as she watches, enthralled.
  51. [23:53:32] * Marina notices the hubbub and snaps back to reality! Wait, what? The truck WAS coming?!
  52. [23:56:08] <Marina> GM: [The driver is too confused with shock to notice Kovacs' approach, but his "copilot" does, a faithful Growlithe he's had since he was a pup. The Growlithe is not amused and growls at the apparition!]
  53. [23:59:32] * MissD starts to "bleed" as a puddle of blood starts to form beneath her...oh man... she's dead, you done fucked up.
  54. [00:01:36] <Marina> GM: [The driver closes his eyes and takes deep breaths, petting Ol' Red to calm him down (he doesn't calm down). He steps out of the truck gingerly to see what happened...]
  55. [00:02:28] * Komacho turns to Marina.
  56. [00:02:40] <Komacho> Ummm... what do we do next?
  57. [00:03:02] * Marina looks at the ghosts be all spooky and stuff.
  58. [00:03:23] <Marina> "Huh... haven't, quite thought that far ahead, I guess..."
  59. [00:03:36] <Marina> "You think they got this under control?"
  60. [00:03:48] * Komacho shrugs
  61. [00:04:40] * Kovacs clicks her tongue upon discovering the Growlithe, unsure of whether to attack him, try to push him out or fall back.
  62. [00:05:59] <Marina> GM: [Ol' Red continues to growl and back, scratching his paws at the passenger side door. Back, foul thingy!]
  63. [00:08:31] <Marina> GM: [The driver looks in front of his car. Oh no, oh no... a kid?! What's a kid doing here?! Oh hell no, look at all the blood...]
  64. [00:09:30] * MissD waits for it.. wait for it...
  65. [00:09:43] * Kovacs ducks under the level of the window in order to be out of sight, then carefully places her hand on the door handle and gets ready to pull.
  66. [00:09:44] <Marina> GM: [The driver reaches down to check for a pulse. Don't be dead, don't be dead...]
  67. [00:10:09] * Marina shrugs back to Koma.
  68. [00:10:28] <Marina> "Well, we gotta get those balls, in any case!"
  69. [00:10:37] <Komacho> Oh, right!
  70. [00:10:59] * Komacho leaps into action, going for the cargo!
  71. [00:11:21] * MissD fades into the earth, seeing that everything else is going smoothly... eh..!? Where did the girl go!?
  72. [00:12:25] <Marina> GM: [Ol' Red knows a trick or two... With a trained paw he pops the cab door open himself and jumps out! Where's the spooky thing?!]
  73. [00:13:43] <Marina> GM: [The driver grabs at air and pavement as the girl stops being a girl? What?! He looks around frantically, wondering what happened...]
  74. [00:14:23] * Komacho dropkicks a hole into the side of the trailer, crashing through it easily. Cunning doesn't really factor into the equation.
  75. [00:15:05] * Komacho is now inside the trailer
  76. [00:18:24] * MissD phases through behind him and then shifts to the side, licking him on the cheek giggling.
  77. [00:19:10] <Marina> GM: [Komacho sees shrink-wrapped pallets of Pokeball boxes. Dozes of boxes with thousands of balls!
  78. [00:19:52] * Komacho wonders what to do next.
  79. [00:20:00] * Marina tries to stealth-move through the tree to avoid attention, after after seeing Koma, sorta of gives up and just jumps into the truck while the driver's distracted.]
  80. [00:20:03] * Komacho grabs a pallet and tosses it out of the hole, for starters.
  81. [00:20:24] * Komacho probably hits Marina on her way in
  82. [00:22:14] <Marina> GM: [Koma fails to get the pallet out of the truck. It's too big. Marina has a SWEET SHELL which blocks damage and stuff, so it's cool.]
  83. [00:22:40] * Komacho picks the pallet up again and tries to force it out of the hole, violently.
  84. [00:22:59] * Kovacs makes a move for the inside of the cab but stops, finding her way blocked by the Growlithe. She tries to find an alternate route, but keeps on her guard in case she comes under attack.
  85. [00:24:05] <Marina> GM: [The driver winces and looks around his shoulder. What's going on? Wait, what's all that noise back there? Why is Ol' Red making such a fuss?]
  86. [00:26:18] <Marina> GM: [Ol' Red makes the ghost come under attack! Rawr! BITE is a Dark move now and can hurt Ghosts! How about that?!]
  87. [00:30:57] <Marina> "Ow. What the heck, Koma?"
  88. [00:31:09] <Komacho> Oops! Sorry!
  89. [00:31:21] * Komacho drops the pallet with a CLUNK.
  90. [00:31:32] * Marina sees Koma's STRONG EFFORTS to force the pallet through fail.
  91. [00:32:01] <Marina> "S'okay! We got the truck! Score one us!"
  92. [00:32:45] <Komacho> So, what now?
  93. [00:33:04] * Kovacs is unable to dodge or block and steels herself, getting bitten. She tries to keep quiet in order to divert attention from herself, but briefly cries out.
  94. [00:34:47] * Marina thinks! She is an excellent thinker! That is why it takes so long for her to come up with BRILLIANT PLANS!
  95. [00:38:36] <Marina> GM: [The driver shakes off his confusion and discovers that MADNESS is ensuing behind him! Ol' Red's fighting a ghost, and there's hooligans inside the trailer!]
  96. [00:39:30] <Marina> GM: [The driver is not a Pokemon trainer and only has Ol' Red for defense. Company policy doesn't let him carry his shotgun in the company trailers, after all...]
  97. [00:44:24] <MissD> "Aww.. booooo..."
  98. [00:44:26] * MissD frowns.
  99. [00:48:22] <Marina> GM: [The driver thinks frantically. Ghosts and thieves... gotta get outta there! Gotta take Ol' Red and get someplace safe! Call it in and get the cops over here or something!]
  100. [00:48:47] * Kovacs does her best to focus despite the biting and licks her opponent with aggressive intent. She can't really get her mind together with the Growlithe still biting down, so she doesn't manage very well...
  101. [00:50:20] <Marina> GM: [The lick is enough to make Ol' Red let go and shiver with a funky feeling, but not much else.]
  102. [00:59:08] * Komacho keeps up the effort to get the pallet out of the hole. Eventually, she succeeds and the pallet crashes to the ground outside, right in front of the guy who was one second away from getting smooshed by a flying pallet.
  103. [01:03:54] <Marina> GM: [The Growlithe growls strangely and barks a mouthful of flames at the businesswoman ghost!]
  104. [01:04:54] <Marina> GM: [The driver narrowly avoids a crashing pallet! This is insanity! What's going on?! This stuff is supposed to happen to "someone else"!]
  105. [01:05:21] <Marina> GM: [The driver calls out to Ol' Red to follow him and get the heck out of there!]
  106. [01:05:36] <Komacho> Hey, Marina! What are we supposed to do with these things once we have them outside?
  107. [01:05:54] * Komacho looks out of the hole and sees that the pallet's exploded, sending Pokeballs all over the place.
  108. [01:05:57] <Komacho> ...oh.
  109. [01:06:32] * Marina snaps out of it, again. Boy, she's sure a deep thinker! That's why her plans are so good!
  110. [01:08:37] <Marina> "Oh, wah, I dunno! Dump 'em in a river or something! Someplace they can't get to 'em!"
  111. [01:09:01] * Marina is a smart woman and opens the trailer door properly!
  112. [01:10:51] <Kovacs> I suppose it's better than trying to make away with the vehicle, unless...
  113. [01:11:07] <Kovacs> "Does anyone here know which pedal is which?"
  114. [01:11:54] <Komacho> What's a pedal?
  115. [01:13:14] <MissD> "Sorry mister, I can't let you play with them yet~"
  116. [01:13:46] * MissD focuses her thoughts as she transfers her very being into the man.. unfortunately he's putting quite a bit of a fight so all MissD could do was slowing him down.
  117. [01:16:40] <Marina> GM: [Ol' Red hears his master's call before MissD stops him, and goes over to his side, still eyeing and growling at Kovacs.]
  118. [01:27:36] <Marina> GM: [The driver doesn't know what's happening... suddenly he stop running, even though he wants to. No, no, gotta... gotta get out of here, get away from these spooks...]
  119. [01:28:49] <MissD> "Hehehe~ let's play mister~"
  120. [01:29:22] <Marina> GM: [Ol' Red touches his master's hand. Something feels... off. Something spooky, like that spooky ghost!]
  121. [01:30:24] * Komacho is in the meantime, dumping pallets in the nearby river. Some are carried, some are tossed, some of the tossed ones miss the river, it's a turkey shoot.
  122. [01:30:46] <Marina> GM: [Ol' Red whines at his master to go, but it's not working! It's like he's not himself!]
  123. [01:33:18] <Marina> GM: [Eventually the Growlithe tugs at his master's sleeve hard enough and with enough accidental clawings that he snaps out of Miss D's influence, and the two book it hardcore down the road! The driver puts in a 911 call to the police to investigate the situation, but our girls down know that...]
  124. [01:33:41] * MissD giggles and waves the two off, going back to the others.
  125. [01:37:29] * Marina is too busy thinking about the best way to make sure the humans don't get these Pokeballs back to actually help dispose of them! Boy is she smart!
  126. [01:37:45] * Komacho is so busy hauling pallets, that she doesn't realize that there's no one to fight anymore
  127. [01:38:30] * MissD finally reaches the others, namely Marina first. She gives them a thumbs up, indicating a job well done~
  128. [01:38:35] <MissD> Mission Success!
  129. [01:39:07] <Marina> "Heck yes it was! No problems! I didn't have any problems, did you have any problems?"
  130. [01:39:24] <Marina> "Where's Kovacs? I bet she didn't have any problems!"
  131. [01:40:04] * Kovacs shows up after hearing her name, looking rather roughed up.
  132. [01:40:16] <Kovacs> "My tie didn't catch fire."
  133. [01:40:40] * Marina gives a thumbs up.
  134. [01:40:44] <Marina> "See? No problems!"
  135. [01:41:05] * Komacho finishes up. There's Pokeballs ERRYWHERE.
  136. [01:41:13] <Komacho> Hey guys, I think I got them all.
  137. [01:41:34] * Marina sees the mess. DISACCEPTABLE!
  138. [01:42:07] <Marina> "Ahh man, Koma, that's problems! What if some kid finds 'em?"
  139. [01:42:35] <Marina> "That'd be even worse than kids having to buy 'em!"
  140. [01:42:50] <MissD> Nope~ no problems here~
  141. [01:43:31] <Marina> "Come on, I'll help yas clean up."
  142. [01:47:02] <Marina> GM: [Fun times! Roll credits and the Pokerap!]
