  2. [2012-12-16 02:16:07] <AMARDA_GM> When last we left our heroes, Shade, Terminal and Energy_Flair had been led to where Happy Cash was planning a hostile takeover of the Equestrian Wastes via trade. Well as hostile as possible when one was a cute little foal.
  3. [2012-12-16 02:16:08] <AMARDA_GM> Meanwhile, the rest were gathered around Summer Flower's table listening to Medi and his explanation of everything he knew.
  4. [2012-12-16 02:18:00] <AMARDA_GM> Medi moves away from the table, inhaling deeply. "I should go find Shade, better to make sure it never happens again, right?"
  5. [2012-12-16 02:21:00] <Energy_Flair> "So... how are you planning on that?"
  6. [2012-12-16 02:21:12] <Haywire> "That would be for the best. Although Summer would need a few more details on changeling physiology and capabilities."
  7. [2012-12-16 02:21:55] * Shade is wandering around the store looking it over
  8. [2012-12-16 02:21:58] <Midnight_Rain> "What are yours thoughts on it Dusk?"
  9. [2012-12-16 02:24:03] * Dusk_Beam blinks, twideling with the teacup in her hooves. "Ah, well.. Im not sure, really." She gives an apologetic smile. "I've never really done a thorough examination of a changeling before, and.. Well, the corpse that we found of the experiments, I coulnt really make sense of it. Heh." She scratches her mane with a hoof and takes a slow sip of her drink.

Using his magic he pulls out a small binder. "This is a list of goods I could possibly use. But candy seems to be the easiest, judging by miss Terminal's reaction to them."

  12. [2012-12-16 02:24:59] * Midnight_Rain wraps a wing around Dusk_Beam "I think you did a good job for your first time looking at one."
  13. [2012-12-16 02:25:12] * Energy_Flair nods. "I'd have to agree with that. Candy is indeed good, but what about employees?"
  14. [2012-12-16 02:25:46] <Shade> "I'll be handling that, in a few years at least." She grins at Happy
  15. [2012-12-16 02:26:05] * Dusk_Beam blushes softly and focuses more of her attention to the teacup. Murmuring. "Well Shade got shot and I paniced and you.. And.. Yeah.." Her tail flicks back and forth.
  16. [2012-12-16 02:26:12] <AMARDA_GM> Happy looks at them both. "I has none yet. I can't afford to hire. But I can make deals with you ponies, for the future."
  17. [2012-12-16 02:26:50] <Energy_Flair> "Future deals?" He thinks and smiles. "Seems like a good idea if your buisness does take off." He says. "I'll bite, what do you want us to do?"
  18. [2012-12-16 02:27:22] <AMARDA_GM> Summer Flower looks disheartened. "Are the wastes beyond really that dangerous?"
  19. [2012-12-16 02:27:22] * Haywire sighs. "Very well. There is no need to concern yourself about such past events, Dusk Medi, can you give Summer a short explanation on what she should beware of? Shade has informed me the emotional draining capabilities of your species could be dangerous."

  22. [2012-12-16 02:28:57] <AMARDA_GM> Happy Cash nods. "I want you to first find a place I can use as the first hub. It dush not have to be great, but I need a building at leasht."

  25. [2012-12-16 02:30:11] * Dusk_Beam is hugged, she nearly drops the teacup and sheepishly hugs back to the best of her ability.
  26. [2012-12-16 02:30:23] <AMARDA_GM> Summer Flower slumps onto the table. "And knowing Happy, that foal is going to go out there anyway. Afterall, trade is the foundation of society. I swear, he speaks the same as his father did."

  28. [2012-12-16 02:31:31] * Haywire turns the rest of his alcoholic tea at once.
  29. [2012-12-16 02:32:51] <AMARDA_GM> Happy nods. "Yes! A small shack or building is all I need, no more then four days trot."
  30. [2012-12-16 02:33:12] * Dusk_Beam wiggles out of Midnights embrace and puts a apologetic hoof at Haywires side. We'll find him.
  31. [2012-12-16 02:34:38] * Energy_Flair nods. "Alright... I'll be on the lokk out personally." He smiles at the kid. "So then, whats our reward for this?"
  32. [2012-12-16 02:35:49] * Shade scratches her chin, wondering how far her new base of operations is, and if she should tell Happy about it. She eventually decides against it.
  33. [2012-12-16 02:35:49] <AMARDA_GM> Happy shrugs. "A fair rate depending on costs, risk and how much you'll be earning.
  34. [2012-12-16 02:37:00] <Energy_Flair> "And a possible opening for deals in the future?"
  35. [2012-12-16 02:37:39] <AMARDA_GM> Happy nods. "Yes!" After he speaks there is a banging on the door of Happy's shack.
  36. [2012-12-16 02:38:07] * Shade tilts her head and cranes her neck to look at the door "Mind getting that, Flair?"
  37. [2012-12-16 02:38:21] * Energy_Flair nods, moving to the door and opening it
  38. [2012-12-16 02:38:22] * Haywire looks at Dusk_Beam's hoof and pats it, sending her a short thankful look. He takes a deep breath and stands on his hooves. "So... we need to ensure Happy's safety. Where is he, for that matter?"
  39. [2012-12-16 02:39:11] <Midnight_Rain> "I dunno i think with Shade and Flair."

  42. [2012-12-16 02:41:54] * Dusk_Beam returns the smile to Haywire and finishes the last of her tea. "Mhm, last time I saw him he was riding Terminals back. Ah.. Shoulnt be much of a issue to find them."
  43. [2012-12-16 02:42:35] <Energy_Flair> He chuckles and smiles. "I do not believe so." He holds out his hoof. Energy, Energy Flair."

  45. [2012-12-16 02:43:35] <AMARDA_GM> "Hello Energy_Flair, pleasure to meet you." Shaking his hoof, he then pounces onto Shade, giving her a kiss on the lips.

  75. [2012-12-16 02:58:44] * Energy_Flair starts to go towards Happy's home before turning to him. "Would you like to come?"
  76. [2012-12-16 02:59:09] <AMARDA_GM> "Oh, a little somewhere I spotted when I scouted the city before I slept. I even marked it down so my memory wouldn't thwart me."

  80. [2012-12-16 03:00:36] <AMARDA_GM> Haywire, Dusk_Beam and Midnight_Rain meet Energy_Flair and Happy Cash part way between the two places.
  81. [2012-12-16 03:00:59] * Haywire makes his way to Happy's shack. "Whichever thoughts of her I may have were engraved into my mind by herself. I only see her as what she is capable of, and I can say, it is not of any good." He says without care for how loud.
  82. [2012-12-16 03:01:25] * Energy_Flair waves at the ponies. "Hello."
  83. [2012-12-16 03:02:18] <Midnight_Rain> "Shes not like that Haywire."
  84. [2012-12-16 03:02:47] <Haywire> "Greetings." He makes a sad, mechanical attempt of a cheerful wave to Happy. "To you too, little one."
  85. [2012-12-16 03:03:47] * Haywire now whispers. "Should I ignore that she invaded my mind to revel in my torment?"
  86. [2012-12-16 03:03:53] <AMARDA_GM> Happy runs over to Haywire and gives him a hug. "Be happy mister pony. You should be happy!"
  87. [2012-12-16 03:04:26] * Dusk_Beam sighs again. "I wish you could see differently." She mumbles and gives a very faked smile to Energy_Flair and Happy Cash. "Hey.. How's it going?"
  88. [2012-12-16 03:05:00] * Energy_Flair waves. "Oh, I'm just going to Happy's mother to find out what this buisness with a pony named King is."
  89. [2012-12-16 03:05:32] <AMARDA_GM> Happy looks at them, then lowers his voice conspiratorialy. "We're gonna go talk to mum bout the king."
  90. [2012-12-16 03:07:30] * Haywire pats Happy, a little uncomfortable, but letting out a short smile . "Well, you are an enthusiastic one, are you not? That is good."
  91. [2012-12-16 03:07:44] <Midnight_Rain> "Wheres Shade and medi?"
  92. [2012-12-16 03:09:57] * Dusk_Beam smiles at Happys enthusiastic behaviour before looking up and around. "Hmm, seems like they left huh.. Ah.. pony named King?"

  95. [2012-12-16 03:13:30] * Haywire manages a chuckle. "Ah, I see." He looks down at Happy and his sadness changes to a different tinge.

  104. [2012-12-16 03:27:04] <AMARDA_GM> Happy nods. "Sometimes a pony may look happy, but deep down they are sad and hurt. So I can know when it is, and then I go and help. I'm not very good at it yet though." He seems upset at the admission.
  105. [2012-12-16 03:31:31] <AMARDA_GM> Energy_Flair and Haywire trot along with Happy, finally reaching his house. Inside Summer is now openly drinking from the harder liquers she has on hand. "Alicorns, Changelings, death, mayhem. The horror! THE HORROR!"
  106. [2012-12-16 03:31:59] * Energy_Flair makes a :I face. "I suddenly doubt I Will be recieving any good information."
  107. [2012-12-16 03:33:56] <AMARDA_GM> Summer looks over at the tree who just Trotted in, and Terminal as well who slinks off somewhere else in the house. "Hello, want to share a drink with me? I seem to be in dire need of one."
  108. [2012-12-16 03:34:47] * Energy_Flair sighs. "Yes, I will need one, but first, I would like to know about this King pony."
  109. [2012-12-16 03:35:22] * Haywire shifts uncomfortably. "Well... I suppose you should." He nods to Energy_Flair. "I have matters to discuss with little Happy." He guides him away from the situation.

"It is good that you worry about other ponies, but you must know, sometimes you cannot do anything... and sometimes it is better that you don't..." He trails off.

"Whew, that's better." she then sits down next to Energy_Flair. "The king is the ruler of this land. He's our leader in most matters."

  147. [2012-12-16 04:16:43] <Energy_Flair> He keeps petting her. "Yeah, I know how that feels." He says sighing. "But don't worry, you'll be fine." He smiles. "I'm sure everything will work out."
  148. [2012-12-16 04:18:34] <AMARDA_GM> Summer sniffs. "Thank you for that. I needed that hug." She holds onto Energy_Flair, for a while longer, drawing comfort from him just being there.
  149. [2012-12-16 04:19:25] <Energy_Flair> He smiles. "No problem, sometimes we just need contact with another pony." He says. "Though I'm not going to lie this is a little awkward."
  150. [2012-12-16 04:20:28] * Haywire hugs Happy back. "You are a good pony, Happy. A good pony." He dries his tears, looking down at the little foal. "But outside this place, it is bad. Ponies are selfish and cruel. They do really bad things to their own. You should stay here, be safe, keep your mother safe... the ones you love, they are what really matter in the end."

  171. [2012-12-16 04:42:43] * Haywire chuckles. "That is an interesting way to put it." He adjusts his goggles. "Right! That reminds me. Somepony somewhat like you has once told me she can 'eat' feelings directed at her. Have you ever done anything similar?"

Except him, cause he already had some pony else, and well did not like mares. So she decided that the love potion was the best solution."

  189. [2012-12-16 04:57:23] <AMARDA_GM> Slowly, tentitively, Summer Flower kisses Energy_Flair.
  190. [2012-12-16 04:57:46] * Energy_Flair acdepts the kiss, closing his eyes and letting her choose the pace.

  192. [2012-12-16 05:00:12] <AMARDA_GM> "I was originally going to try and use spare parts as a means to enter the market. But Terminal showed me the way. Candy. That's the secret. Candy."
  193. [2012-12-16 05:04:04] * Haywire lips quiver at the name of alicorn, but he leaves it at that. "I see. So, who do you plan to sell them to?"
  194. [2012-12-16 05:04:43] <AMARDA_GM> "Every pony I can. Starting with mister Energy_Flair and miss Shade.
  195. [2012-12-16 05:07:10] * Haywire chuckles. "I suppose that is a start, but don't buy much more than you intend to sell." He raises an eyebrow. "I am not sure if Shade acquired some of the local currency, though."

  197. [2012-12-16 05:19:23] * Haywire nods. "Truthfully they did but..." He digs up his saddlebags. "Oh, it seems I'm out of bottlecaps. Anyway, outside of New Canterlot, Sparkle Cola bottlecaps are used as currency, though trading used goods is also common. You should keep that in mind."

  200. [2012-12-16 05:51:31] * Midnight_Rain trots back up to the house after awhile of carrying the fried mare "I wonder where the others are."

  202. [2012-12-16 05:54:44] * Midnight_Rain enters the house looking around not finding anyone she shrugs moving to Kitchen for drinks "I Don't think Summer will mind."
  203. [2012-12-16 05:56:32] * Dusk-Beam slowly slides of Midnight's back. "Ah.... What about that shower?" She begins to trott towardsthe back of the house
  204. [2012-12-16 05:56:58] * Midnight_Rain grabs a drink and follows Dusk-Beam "Had to grab a drink first."
  205. [2012-12-16 05:57:51] * Haywire hugs back. "Of course. That may take some time, though. What do you want to know?"
  206. [2012-12-16 06:05:27] * Haywire prepares to expound to Happy all about the wasteland (and how dangerous it is and why to never ever go there)
  207. [2012-12-16 06:08:00] * Midnight_Rain heads to the back to take a shower with Dusk-Beam
  208. [2012-12-16 06:08:30] * Dusk-Beam points out that this is a cold shower.

  210. [2012-12-16 06:12:13] * Dusk-Beam nods. "And crowded seeing as you are such a big mare and all.. Oh well.." She says with a slight smirk as she trotts inside and closes the door behind them.
