I've figured it out brother. I know what our simulation lacks now. It was simple yet complex at the same time, like so many answers. We put in all the rules of physics yet, as you know, it only spawns a barren universe. To populate it, to create life, it needs life. It needs consciousness. Decision making processes and growth. I've rigged a way we can fully transfer both a person and their consciousness within the system. The first entrant will be lost but will become the entirety of the system itself. The subconscious will manifest the parameters for evolution while the conscious aspect of the mind can manage and interface with the physics system.

Since we're not going to get any volunteers... I'm going to sacrifice myself to the project. This is my life's work, our life's work, and it must succeed at all costs.

There's surely another way, or even someone else to do it. Brother, I understand your passion but you'll become a computer? Think about what you'll give up. The reconstitution system is almost working. The idea of providing perfect regeneration is a far more illustrious and profitable goal then simulating an experiential lifetime.

I urge you to reconsider. I don't want to lose the only family I still have.
