  1. Chase + Genevieve - You learn quite a bit on just what Fiends are. The wilds of this land are the way they are for a reason, mostly that it's a very spiritual place and the land and whatever lives there is affected by this. In certain 'hotspots' for such energies, it's not particularly rare for some Pokemon species to become possessed by these energies and changed metaphysically. These beings are called Fiends; they become extremely aggressive, territorial and dangerous. However, once removed from the source of such power, the aggression wanes and they are, mentally, not much different from any other of their species. The other changes persist however. Many veteran Explorers have had years to capture and nurture these critters, and they are somewhat a sign of status.

  3. Now, as for what these energies themselves come from? That you sorta run out of info on. Though Saxton is more than welcome to suggest checking out places such as ruins, temples, deep caves, ancient burial grounds and shrines, and any other location deep in the wilds. These things seem to pop up rather out of the way, and more commonly than not near a place a Legendary is sometimes known to wander.

  5. Saryx - Looking into Alchemy seems to be a pretty well established practice taught to Pscionists in certain military branches, specially in Visiwa. The -main- problem is, that, well, almost all of them are currently overseas at the moment due to the escalation of international conflict. There are a few private ones in the region who have practiced in the art, but seems you're gonna need some connections to find names. They are rather low key about the business and teaching it. Reason why this would be the case, far as you can tell, is it's a bit like blacksmithing really - being moved out of place by factories and modern tech and hard to find a place. What it actually -is- far as you can tell is applying pscionic influence to one's craftsmanship. Seems back in the old days the Explorers Guild had an entire Alchemist Branch that would literally toss things together, and bam invented the Master Ball.

  7. Asking Kent about this reveals it's something that actually requires -true- pscionics, which he doesn't possess. He says one of his daughters has dabbled in it but...well...you're probably better off looking for someone more practiced unless you're feeling generous to help her with her studies of it. Far as he knows, all military related ones are currently overseas, and the rest are, as you found, very word-of-mouth about their business.
