SSH on Port 2222?

Hi guys,

and thanks for replying to my questions last week. Awsome! Now I have some more questions... :-)

The Ubuntu wiki says that I should use port 2222 instead of port 22 on my ssh-server. How come? Isn't port 2222 just as likely to get port scanned as port 22 or is there another explanation?

Then I would like to hear your thoughts on the differences between sftp and ftps. Which one is more secure?
